Squirrel in a fur coat
Jump, and from the tree to the alder,
Deftly jumping through the trees,
And hides nuts in the double.
A. Ganiev

Where does the squirrel live and what does it eat?
Proteins are distributed almost all over the world (with the exception of Australia). The mobile mammal belongs to the rodent family.
This typical inhabitant of Russian forests is a real beauty. Twice a year (spring and autumn) she changes her fur coat so that in the summer she flaunts in a bright red fur coat,

and in winter to be not so noticeable in a gray, insulated outfit.

An ordinary squirrel lives in a hollow. Many animals have several such houses. In one she lives and breeds, and uses the rest as pantries.

It does not hibernate in winter, and it is rather tight with acorns and nuts - the main food of this rodent - during cold weather. So the household little animal stores them for himself for a rainy day, hiding them in nests.
The main food of the taiga beauty is pine nuts and acorns, its menu can be diluted with seeds of other cones, mushrooms, berries and even bird eggs.
Squirrels have one trait that is very useful for wildlife - their constant desire to stock up. Squirrels hide and bury seeds and nuts for the winter, and then ... they forget where they hid it! What they forgot where they buried, then sprouts.

Materials needed for work:
green cardboard;
gouache, two brushes: pony or squirrel No. 1 and No. 2;
double glass-non-spill for water,
simple pencil, palette, foam swab

Place green cardstock horizontally.

We need a foam pad. We moisten it in water, squeeze out excess water, collect yellow gouache.

We paint the middle of the sheet with yellow gouache using a foam rubber swab by priming.

We draw a squirrel (a sketch with a simple pencil)
With a simple pencil, draw a tree branch at the bottom of the sheet.

On a branch, in the center of the sheet, draw an oval - the body.

The head is represented by a circle.

In circles, we outline the joints of the front and hind legs of the squirrel, schematically draw the paws.

We paint over the squirrel.
We draw the ears and start coloring them.

We draw the paws, paint the head in orange, the breast and the lower part of the head in yellow.

We paint over the back, paws, the upper part of the tail.

Make the lower part of the tail darker.

We paint over the branch with brown gouache.

With the end of a thin brush, draw the fur with strokes on the ears, torso, and tail.

In black, we draw the eye, nose, and additionally fur more clearly. With dark brown paint, paint the bark on the branch.

Spruce needle drawing.
We collect green paint on a foam rubber swab and apply a seal to the places of the intended needles.

To draw spruce needles using the printing technique, we will use a small piece of cardboard (width 2 cm) and dark green gouache poured into the gouache cap (can be diluted on the palette)

To draw needles, we dip the end of the cardboard rectangle in dark green gouache and often apply it to the sheet.

We collect light green gouache on the cardboard and draw light needles on top of the dark needles with a stamp.

This is what spruce branches look like. You can draw a bump in the paws of a squirrel.

On top of the light needles, draw dark green needles in the same way.

We got such a white!

Let's frame it.

The squirrel is a very cute animal and many children love to draw squirrels. draw a squirrel You can take a photo or even watch a squirrel in the park. But still, it is better to draw a squirrel in stages, using any lesson called "How to draw a squirrel in stages", since this is a very graceful animal and it is very difficult to convey this feature without experience. Of course, if you draw a fluffy tail and characteristic ears with tassels on the head of a squirrel, it will already be clear that this is a squirrel. But we want to draw a "real" squirrel, exactly the same that runs in the park. Therefore, let's try to draw a squirrel first with a pencil, and then "revive" the picture of the squirrel, color the drawing with colored pencils, draw a tree branch on which it sits, and of course, a bump in the squirrel's paws.

1. The first steps of drawing a squirrel

The first step in drawing a squirrel is quite simple. But, nevertheless, you need to accurately draw the oval of the body of the squirrel and the circle for the head. The height of the oval will be equal to two circles and must necessarily have a slope. The more accurately you make the primary contours, the more accurately the drawing of the squirrel will turn out in the future.

2. Approximate contours of the legs of a squirrel

At this stage, you need to draw the paws. To make it easier to maintain proportions in the drawing, use the markup using small circles. You will then imagine how thick the paws of the squirrel should be and see where to start drawing them from. The front legs of the squirrel are small, and the hind legs are long, the same as those of a cat or a rabbit. If you have drawn all the contour lines accurately, let's continue draw a squirrel at the next stage.

3. Draw the contours of the ears, tail and muzzle of the squirrel

You may find this step difficult at first. But take a closer look, it’s not difficult to draw the contour of the tail, add white ears on the head and slightly correct the contour of the muzzle. Well, when you draw a circle for the eye of a squirrel, the squirrel will seem to come to life.

4. How to draw a squirrel. Drawing detail

Erase the now unnecessary contour lines with an eraser, trying not to erase the work path. See how easy and fast you drew a squirrel. You just need to add a few small details and the squirrel drawing will be almost ready. Start detailing the drawing with the squirrel's eye, add claws on the paws, draw the nose.

5. Draw the skin of a squirrel and a fluffy tail

At this stage, you need to make the squirrel "fluffy". It is better to draw a fluffy tail with similar thin and long strokes, as in my drawing. In the same way, you can draw a fluffy skin for a squirrel, only with short strokes. Well, now the drawing of the squirrel is definitely completed and you can pick up colored pencils.

6. How to draw a squirrel. The final stage

What color is the color of the squirrel, I think you yourself know, but it’s still better to first look at the real photo of the squirrel in order to accurately convey its color. You can shade the squirrel drawing with simple soft pencils, just like in my drawing. If you decide to paint the drawing with paints, then it is advisable to be able to work with them. Be sure to draw a squirrel with a bump in its front paws, sitting on a tree branch. Add the surrounding landscape, but not too bright, in light colors to squirrel drawing remained in the foreground.

If you decide to draw a cat with colored pencils or paint with paints, you can use the coloring from this drawing, made by me on a graphics tablet.

A kitten, like a squirrel, is not easy to draw. The main reason for this is that these animals cannot stay motionless for a long time. And even if you see a squirrel in the park and it comes up to you for food, it will not "pose" for a picture.

A squirrel doesn't look like a rabbit at all. But, if you look closely, they have a lot in common. Drawn pictures, where rabbits are merrily jumping, only at first glance seem simple to draw. In any drawing of an animal, you need to accurately maintain proportions and convey its character, grace.

If you are going draw a squirrel on the grass picking mushrooms or apples, draw a hedgehog next to it. This will bring the overall drawing to life. Let's try to do it together, and perhaps this lesson will seem quite easy for you.

  2. On the left side, starting from the bottom of the large oval, draw a fluffy tail, an eye with a small tassel, an eye and a left paw.
  3. From the middle of the second oval, draw a semicircle - this is the division for the legs of the squirrel.
  4. Draw a pair of legs and an acorn cap.
  5. Draw the second ear, nose and mouth. Draw an acorn, which the squirrel holds firmly with both paws.

  3. Draw 2 circles to the curved line - medium and small. On the lower circle of medium size, draw a fluffy tail on the right side. On a small circle, between the large and medium ones, draw the upper paw.
  4. Divide the large circle with a curved line. On the left, right from the edge of the left side of the circle, draw one oval eye, and in the middle of the second part of the circle - the second. On top of the circle, draw ears with a sharp end.
  5. On the lower circle, draw an oblong arc - this is the lower foot of the squirrel.
  6. Erase extra strokes from the pencil.
  7. Draw the fur using the vertical hatching technique. Draw eyelashes, eyebrows, antennae, two protruding teeth.
  8. Draw a branch with leaves under the lower foot of the squirrel.
