How to draw leaves with a pencil. How to draw a maple leaf with a pencil? Step by step instructions How to draw falling leaves with a pencil step by step

30.06.2019

In this lesson, I'll show you how to draw a maple leaf with a pencil step by step. This is a simple lesson that even a beginner can handle.

Before drawing a complex shape, you must imagine how it works from the inside. For example, a maple leaf is not a simple figure. But if you study its structure, it will become much easier. Here is the maple leaf:

How to draw a maple leaf - an easy step by step drawing lesson

First, look at the maple leaf in the picture above. Think about its basic shape. Look at the stem. Notice how it continues to the tip of the leaf. Look at the "ribs" of the leaf. Think about the corners where they meet the stem. Now you can draw the main shape. Always try to see the basic shape first and leave the details for later. Follow the step by step instructions below.

  1. Draw a square....then draw a stem through the center.

2. Look at the edges of the leaves. Imagine the corners where they abut against the stem. Note that they fold into a "V" at the top and sides of the sheet.

3. Now draw the outline of the sheet. You can refer to the square you drew in the first step.

To make it easier for you, the main lines are highlighted in color below:

3.1 At the bottom of the sheet, draw the shape of a flattened letter "W". At the top, draw an inverted "V".

3.2 Now draw 3 letters "J" (2 inverted).

3.3 Now draw the number "7" on the right and the letter "Z" on the left side of the sheet.

4. Now draw the outer corrugated shape of the edges of the sheet.

By the way, there is an interesting way of coloring with colored corrugated paper. You must first draw the leaves on paper in the same way with white wax crayon. After that, tear the corrugated paper of autumn colors (red, yellow, orange, brown) into small pieces and, wetting each piece well in water, stick them on the drawing. Make sure that there are no two pieces of paper of the same color next to each other. Let the paper dry a little (but not completely!), Then remove it from the drawing. You will get a wonderful multi-colored background. Leave the work to dry completely, then put it under the press.

Method 2.

An interesting autumn craft will turn out if you put a leaf under a thin foil. In this case, the foil should be placed with the shiny side up. After that, you need to gently smooth the foil with your fingertips so that the pattern shows through. Next, you need to cover it with a layer of black paint (it can be gouache, ink, tempera). When the paint is dry, rub the painting very gently with a steel dishcloth. At the same time, the protruding veins of the leaf will shine, and dark paint will remain in the recesses. Now you can stick the resulting relief on a sheet of colored cardboard.

Method 3.

A very simple and at the same time effective technique is to print leaves on paper, on which paint is previously applied. Any paint can be used, only it must be applied to the side of the leaves where the veins appear.

A beautiful autumn drawing will turn out if you print the leaves with white paint on a sheet of dark-colored cardboard. When the paint dries, it is necessary to color the leaves with colored pencils. It will turn out beautifully if some leaves are left white.

The background can be left as is, or made colored by painting with paints with a sponge. In this case, it is necessary to leave a small unpainted space around the leaves.

If you decide to make the background colored, then the leaves themselves can be left white.

Method 4.

To give volume to your drawings, you can use the following interesting technique. You will need thin wrapping paper or white crepe paper.

Method 6.

Another original autumn drawing, made in warm and cold colors. The leaves themselves are drawn in warm colors (yellow, red, orange), the background - in cold colors (green, blue, purple). You will need a compass to do this job.

1. Draw several leaves of different shapes on paper.
2. Now, using a compass, draw a circle with a small radius in the lower left corner of the sheet of paper. Next, adding about 1 cm, draw circles of larger and larger radius, as far as the compass will allow.
3. Now do the same in the upper right corner.
4. Finally, color the autumn leaves with felt-tip pens or pencils in warm colors (the colors should alternate sequentially), and the background in cold colors.

Method 7.

Help your child draw a maple leaf on a piece of paper. Divide it with veins into sectors. Let the child color each sector of the leaflet with some special pattern.

You can combine two methods.

Method 8.

Another unusual autumn drawing.

1. Draw leaves of various shapes on paper. They should occupy the entire sheet of paper, but not touch each other. Part of the leaves should start from the borders of the sheet of paper. Draw only the contours of the leaves, without veins.
2. Now, using a simple pencil and a ruler, draw two lines from left to right and two from top to bottom. The lines should cross the leaves, dividing them into sectors.
3. Choose two colors for the background and two colors for the leaves. Color them in the chosen colors in the same way as in the picture.
4. When the paint dries, trace the outlines of the leaves and the drawn lines with a gold marker.

Drawings on the theme of autumn

Method 9.

To make this autumn craft, you will need a regular newspaper and paints (including white paint).

1. Draw a maple leaf on a piece of newspaper.

2. Color it with paint and after the paint is dry, cut it out.

3. Take another sheet of newspaper and draw and paint over a large square on it with white paint.

4. Lay your sheet over the paint and wait for it to dry completely.

5. This is what you should end up with!

Lesson on the image of an autumn leaf

1. Organizational part.

To determine the topic and task of the lesson, I suggest that students solve riddles. I accompany the students' answers with a slide show about autumn, about the different state of nature in autumn bad weather or on fine days, slides depicting autumn leaves.

empty fields,

Wet earth,

The rain is pouring.

When does it happen?

(in autumn)

I paint yellow

Field, forest, valley.

And I love the sound of rain

Call me!

Leaves are slowly disappearing.

It is clear to everyone how twice two -

2. Motivation and goal setting.

After viewing even such a small number of slides, it becomes obvious: why autumn at different times inspired writers, poets, musicians and, of course, artists to create beautiful works that convey the variety of colors of the autumn palette. Nature is good at this time of the year: the sky, and the forest, as a whole, and the reflection of the forest in the water, and each tree individually is unique and beautiful, and the earth is covered with a carpet of many different - different leaves, and each leaf from any tree is interesting and good in his own way. So I want to capture this beauty. We formulate the first part of the topic.

Nature. In everyday life, the word "nature" is often used in the meaning of the natural habitat (everything that is not created by man).

Color palette (color palette) - a fixed set (range) of colors and shades.

Diversity - variety, an abundance of something different.

Consider individual leaves. We observe the difference between leaves in shape and color, but between leaves from different trees, there is something in common. And this common thing is the sameness of the halves of a leaf of any tree relative to an imaginary line dividing the leaf into two parts, and passing along the petiole-stem. The halves of the sheet are the same and symmetrical. At the moment, we are observing the manifestation of symmetry in nature on the example of a tree leaf.

Symmetry, bilateral symmetry means that the right and left sides look the same relative to some plane (axis of symmetry, center line, symmetrical halves).

Each leaf of a tree has a certain shape and, accordingly, a structure. Today we will not depict a tree, and if not a tree, what then ... Of course, a leaf and ... a leaf of a beautiful, not simple shape, filled with different color spots ... that's right, this is a maple leaf. The name of the second part of the topic of the lesson sounds.

Consider a maple leaf. It has a complex shape, but if you follow certain rules in the image, the appearance of a maple leaf will not be difficult to convey. The leaf has an imaginary middle line, it runs in the middle of the leaf plate and passes into the petiole. And there is an imaginary point at the end of the leaf plate and the beginning of the petiole, from which the most pronounced veins come out, located to the right and left of the leaf symmetry axis in the same way. Like this.

3. Actualization of basic knowledge and methods of action.

Let's use this fact in the image of the sheet. And so, the first thing we do is draw a vertical line in the center of the format with a simple pencil, which will be the middle line of the tree leaf. Next, we mark the vanishing point of the veins on the given line and outline the veins that are located symmetrically relative to the center line. Like this.

Next, around the veins, we outline lines in shape resembling a crown, consisting of three pointed elements, smoothly connecting to each other through arcs. The middle element of each of the "crowns" is larger than the two side ones. In total, there are three “crowns”, in our case (but it can be different). They are depicted around the central vein-axis and two lateral veins next to the central one and on both sides of it. And near the remaining veins we draw lines like an arrowhead.

Then we gradually connect the crowns and arrows with each other with smooth deep arcs, draw different lines that convey the finished look to the shape of the tree leaf and, in general, the sketch for working with paints is ready.

How we love to draw nature, various landscapes, which often contain trees and shrubs, as an indispensable element of many landscape drawings. Trees and shrubs have leaves. They densely sit on the branches, rustle in the wind, sway, creating a pleasant coolness on a hot summer day. From the heat, lush foliage can shelter a weary traveler who has stopped to rest under a sprawling tent of tree branches. Leaves are different in their structure. Simple and complex, with different arrangement of veins - they are usually an integral part of every herbaceous plant. With the help of leaflets, plants receive nutrients, water is transported through the veins to all organs of the plant.

Acacia leaf. First, in the first part of our lesson, we will learn how to draw a complex sheet. Let it be a leaf of a well-known shrub - a yellow acacia. In botanical terminology, it is called unpaired pinnately dissected. In a pinnate leaf, leaf blades are always located on the main petiole opposite each other.

Stage 1. First, we denote the main petiole (leaf stalk) with auxiliary straight lines, from it we draw additional direct petioles, two in different directions.

Stage 2. We draw a clear line of the base of the main petiole.

Stage 3. On the first two straight lines, draw a lot of small leaves sitting on additional stems.

Stage 4. On the second two straight lines and on the main stem in front, we also draw a lot of small leaves. At the top of such a leaf is an unpaired leaf blade.

Stage 5. We erase the auxiliary lines, leaving only the main ones.

Stage 6. Outline the main contour of the leaves with a clear line.

Stage 7. Let's decorate our leaves, naturally, in green.

Lilac leaves. Lilac is a very beautiful shrub with clusters of small flowers of lilac, purple or white. Lilac has a very pleasant smell. It usually blooms in May. And then a wonderful unique lilac smell floats above the ground ... Let's try to draw the leaves of this beautiful shrub.

Stage 1. Lilac leaves are single, simple, they each sit on their petiole opposite each other (opposite). We draw a small, not very plump petiole.

Stage 2. From this petiole we draw two straight lines located opposite each other. These are the rods of future leaf blades. On each of them we will depict half of a semi-heart-shaped leaf blade.

Stage 3. Now, in the same way, we depict the second halves of the leaf blades. They also remind us of half a heart.

Stage 4. With clear bold lines we denote the median veins of each leaf. They are the largest.

Stage 5. From the median vein of each leaf blade, we show numerous veins that extend in different directions and create a patterned network on the sheet.

Stage 6. Now we erase all auxiliary lines, outline the remaining drawing clearly.

Stage 7. Let's color our leaves. It is a green color of various shades. The veins can be made gray, brown or black. Or maybe dark green.

Autumn leaves
The bright colors of the leaves sparkle -
The wind blows - they fly around ...
Like butterflies, the leaves flutter,
Spinning in the sky, flying, flying
They lie on the ground like a motley carpet
They rustle under our feet
Everyone is talking about autumn soon
(L. Schmidt)

Working process:

1. We print a leaf template on a landscape sheet.

2. We take a cotton swab, dip it in orange paint and circle the first leaf along the contour using the “poke method”. Apply gouache to the veins of the first leaf.

3. Take a new cotton swab and use yellow paint to fill in the background of the first leaflet. The first autumn leaf is ready.

4. We circle the contour and veins of the second leaflet with green paint using a cotton swab.

5. Now with a lighter green paint we fill the background of the second leaflet with a cotton swab. The second autumn leaf is ready.

6. We circle the contour and veins of the third leaflet with a “poke method” with red paint using a cotton swab.

7. Now with orange paint we carefully fill the background of the third leaflet with a cotton swab. The third autumn leaf is ready.

8. Our autumn leaves are ready. Now we begin to fill in the background of the work in this technique. We take blue paint and carefully, starting from the edge, fill the background of our work with a cotton swab. The background of the work should be non-uniform, and move from dark to light in any direction.

9. Our autumn leaves are ready.

10. Here is another option to work. You can cut the edges with scissors, forming a curly oval. Then it turns out that the fallen leaves are floating in a puddle.

We glue the work on colored cardboard for aesthetics and the work is ready.
