A few minutes ago, the casting of a new member of the SEREBRO group ended: she was 22-year-old Ekaterina Kishchuk, a student at the Moscow Institute of Contemporary Art and a two-time Russian hip-hop champion. The girl was chosen not only by the producer of the group Maxim Fadeev and the members of the team, but also by his fans: a few days ago, an online vote was announced on the SEREBRO VKontakte page, as a result of which Ekaterina won an overwhelming majority of votes - 43.1 percent.

Recall that at the end of March, one of the soloists Daria Shashina announced her departure from the group. This decision is associated with serious health problems - the singer was diagnosed with congenital dysplasia of the knee joints, due to which she suffers from severe pain in her knee. Recently, Daria was examined in an Israeli clinic, and now she has to undergo two major operations.

The casting winner was 22-year-old Katya Kishchuk.
As a result of voting on the Vkontakte social network, 22-year-old Katya Kishchuk won by a wide margin. The new soloist of the SEREBRO band comes from Tula. She graduated from a music school there in the class of "choral singing" and a dance school at MGUKI, in addition, the girl is a two-time Russian hip-hop champion.
According to Katya, in 2015 she lived in Bangkok for four months, where she worked as a model for local clothing brands. She then went to China for five months to "sort herself out."
Recall that after the announcement of the departure from the group of Daria Shashina due to illness, Maxim Fadeev, together with the LifeNews TV channel, announced an urgent online casting. The girls sent their video presentations through the LifeCorr application, after which Fadeev selected 10 finalists. And the winner was chosen by Vkontakte users.
According to Fadeev, he received tens of thousands of videos from those who wanted to join the group. On the air of LifeNews, he admitted that he was preparing to create a new musical project. Therefore, those who did not pass the selection can get a new chance.
- I can immediately reassure some of the participants, we are going to make a new female group with four participants. So don’t worry those who didn’t win,” said the producer.

For the first time, the female pop trio "Serebro" was heard on March 10, 2007, during the selection for Eurovision. It was the first performance in the history of the group: not a single concert, not a single single in history. The risk of sending such inexperienced performers to Helsinki was huge, but the creator of Silver, producer Max Fadeev, was known for his flair for successful projects. The expert group approved their candidacy, making up behind Alexander Panayotov, Alexei Chumakov and the "Beasts" group. 
Before the selection, the public only heard something about Elena Temnikova, a former member of Star Factory-2, where she met a famous producer. In 2005, Olga Serbyakina, who performed as a back-up dancer with another Fadeev's ward, Irakli, was accepted into the group. And the third girl, Maria Lizorkina, was found through an Internet casting in 2006. The first single "Silver" was planned to be released in 2008, but plans changed when Fadeev's pets were sent to Eurovision.
Eurovision 2007: Silver - Song #1
On March 12, 2007, the single "Song #1" went on sale. The creator of the video of the same name, released a month later, was Fadeev himself. It was with this song that the Silver group represented Russia at Eurovision and took 3rd place. On May 13, 2007, the members of the trio woke up famous. This date is considered the official birthday of the group.
The main stages of creativity
After a successful debut, "Silver" pleased the listeners with the compositions "Breathe", "Whats Your Problem", "Opium", "Say, don't be silent", and on April 25, 2009 they presented their first studio album "Opium Roz", which included 7 English-language and 4 Russian-language track. 
From the first days of its existence, the Serebro group promoted the ideas of female friendship, sexuality and independence, which were successfully combined with the bold outrageous images of its members. This feature was especially pronounced after Masha left the group in June 2007 in order to come to grips with the career of an artist, and Anastasia Karpova took her place. Like her predecessor, the girl got into Silver by submitting an application on the Internet.
Six months later, there were reports in the press about the departure of Lena Temnikova due to an affair with Fadeev's brother Artem. But everything worked out, and the group continued to perform in the old line-up, and their new song "Sweet" won the title "Song of the Year".
In the summer of 2011, the girls recorded the song "Mama Lover", the title track of their future album, and 6 weeks later they released a video for its Russian version, "Mama Lyuba".
Silver - Mama Lyuba
The second studio album of the trio "Mama Lover" went on sale in June 2012. The disc was in English and was not sold in Russia. Russian listeners were able to purchase the Mama Lyuba album four months later.
In the summer of 2013, Serebro released a video for the song "Mi mi mi", which hit the top 6 most viewed videos of Russian groups, losing only to the video for the songs "You are so" by singer Natalie, "505" by the Vremya i Steklo group, "Crazy" by Alexei Vorobyov, "Exhibit" by Sergei Shnurov's group and Timati's viral video "Lada Eggplant".
Silver - Mi Mi Mi
In the fall, Anastasia Karpova left the group, who decided to start a solo career. Her departure did not come as a surprise to Fadeev: he immediately announced that a new soloist had been found in place of Nastya - Daria Shashina.
After 5 months, Lena Temnikova also left the trio. The official reason was the singer's health problems and her desire to start a family. For some time, instead of Lena, Anastasia Karpova returned to the group, until in June 2014 Fadeev finally found a replacement for her. She became a native of Volgograd Polina Favorskaya.
October 30, 2015 "Silver" presented their third studio album, called "The Power of Three". The disc with 16 tracks topped the Russian and Ukrainian iTunes charts. 10 tracks were previously released as singles. Yandex.Music called the release the best album of 2015.
In the spring of 2016, Shashina said goodbye to her colleagues due to health problems. In two weeks, a new soloist, model Katya Kishchuk, was found through Internet casting.
In April 2017, the group became the face of the cosmetic brand Sephora. In support of this company, the girls recorded the song “Love Between Us”. A post with a new song appeared in the official community of the VKontakte group and broke the record for collected likes - more than 20,000 in 2 days.

After 3 months, the group again changed. This time, Polina, tired of constant rehearsals and tours, announced her departure. In 2016, the former soloist of the group Lena Temnikova spoke about the humiliation that she was subjected to by Max Fadeev. According to her, she left the group because she was tired of the image of "sexual terrorists" that the producer began to push through. Moreover, the previously featured story about Temnikova’s relationship with Fadeev’s brother Artem was invented by the producer for PR of Artem’s new musical. At the same time, Fadeev regulated the singer's personal life and forbade her to meet with men. 
February 2017 almost started for the group with an international scandal. Olga Seryabkina and Katya Kishchuk played the video game Mortal Combat live, while answering questions from fans along the way. As soon as the presenter began to ask a question that began with the words “In Kazakhstan ...”, Seryabkina threw: “Kazakhstan? Don't give a damn about Kaz…” Realizing that she had said something wrong, Olga fell silent. After that, the group's social networks were full of angry messages from residents of Kazakhstan. The girl had to publicly apologize, and Fadeev asked "not to stone the girls."

With the help of Internet casting, three new participants were selected: an actress by education Marianna Kochurova, a former athlete Irina Titova and an aspiring singer Elizaveta Kornilova. 
The debut of the group in the new line-up fell on Valentine's Day 2019. The girls sang the song "Love Between Us".
Silver - Love between us
It happens like this: you come up with something, plan, take on the implementation, and then hop - and everything does not go according to plan, but it turns out even better than planned. This is exactly what happened to the composer and arranger with his production project - the Silver group.
Compound
The idea to create a female pop group that is different from other similar pop projects came to mind - a participant in the second "Star Factory", curated by Fadeev. As the producer himself admitted in an interview, it was originally planned that the group would be focused on the Asian music market.
The first composition of the Silver group: Elena Temnikova, Olga Seryabkina, Marina Lizorkina
The first line-up was formed in 2006. First, Temnikova invited a backing vocalist to the group, who at that time was working with another pupil of Fadeev. Max himself found the next participant via the Internet - she became a Moscow artist. In this composition, the girls recorded and performed until June 2009 - then Marina came to replace - a girl from Balakovo.
In 2010, there were rumors about the departure of its founder Elena Temnikova from the group. There was a rumor among the fans that the conflict with the producer, which arose because of the soloist's romance with Fadeev's brother, was to blame. But the rumor was not confirmed, and Elena remained to delight her fans with her vocals (and not only).
The next castling took place in September 2013: Karpova left the group, and a native of Nizhny Novgorod became the new soloist of "Silver".
A year later, Temnikova nevertheless left the group - the contract was nearing its end, and the girl did not want to renew it. Elena's place was taken by a girl born in Podolsk.
In March 2016, in the official public of the Silver group during "In contact with" there was information that the team was looking for a replacement for Daria Shashina. On April 13 of the same year, the surname and name of the new member of the group became known to the audience - Shashin was replaced. The last line-up changes took place in November 2017.
Music
Initially, the Silver team was planned as an English-speaking group for China, Japan and some other Asian countries. However, everything changed at the moment when a familiar producer from Channel One found out about Fadeev's work and asked him to nominate girls for a competition dedicated to the selection of Russian representatives at Eurovision 2007. Max agreed reluctantly.
The little-known singers from "Silver" beat even such favorites as "Band'Eros" and "Beasts" in the competition, and as a result flew to Helsinki (Finland) to represent their country at the international music competition. With their song "Song # 1" Seryabkina, Temnikova and Lizorkina took third place, losing the first two participants from Serbia (Maria Sherifovich) and Ukraine ().
When the girls returned home with an "honorary bronze", their track "Song # 1" was already on the radio. Also in the rotation was the Russian-language version of the song, which in a short time reached the top of the charts, and not only in Russian: "Song # 1" became popular in Switzerland, Denmark, Latvia and even in the UK.
On the wave of popularity, two more previously recorded songs were released - "Breathe" and "What's Your Problem". As a result, "Silver" becomes the best debut of 2007 according to the MTV Russia Music Awards, as well as the best-selling Russian group of the same year according to the World Music Awards.
The beginning and middle of 2008 are associated with two songs and videos - "Opium" and "Why". Toward the end of the year, the group released a new single - "Say, do not be silent", which already in December took first place in the charts. Also in 2008, "Silver" received an award from the MTV Russia Music Awards in the category "Best Group". In honor of such an event, the girls presented their new track “Sound sleep” right at the ceremony.
The debut album of the girls was released only at the end of April 2009. It was called "Opium Roz" and included 11 songs. The authoritative edition of Billboard dubbed "Opium Roz" the most anticipated release of 2009.
Toward the end of the year, with a renewed line-up, the group recorded the song "Sweet", which a little later topped the hit parade "100 Most Rotated Songs". At the same time, the Silver group was involved in major musical events in the country: Song of the Year, Golden Gramophone and New Wave.

The girls spent 2012 in Mexico, participating in the El Gran Concierto festival and in the filming of the Vacation in Mexico program. Inspired by the color of the country, the group wrote the song "Gun", as well as its Russian version "Boy". Returning home, "Silver" presented a new composition at the show "Evening Urgant". A little later, the second album was released, named after last year's hit "Mama Lover".
In honor of Valentine's Day 2013, the group released the track "Sexy ass". It did not become such a hit as many of the group's previous songs, so another composition was soon released - "Not enough of you."
The fate of this song was more successful - "Not enough of you" took the honorable first place in the charts of Russia, Ukraine and even Poland.
In 2013, the singers visited China, where they presented the song "Mi Mi Mi". The composition with uncomplicated text simply captivated the listeners, and not only in China. According to statistics, the largest number of song downloads is from citizens of Japan, Italy, Portugal, the Netherlands, Austria, Germany, and Ireland.
The hit of 2014 was the song "I won't give you up." After Temnikova left the group and Favorskaya appeared, another interesting composition was recorded - “No More Needed”. The following year gave the fans of the group "Silver" two more songs - "Let me go" and "Confused". Clips were filmed for both compositions and aired on music TV channels.
On May 27, 2016, the girls released their third album, The Power of Three. Unlike the previous two, this one had tracks created with the participation of other musicians and performers - DJ M.E.G. and Yellow Claw. Critics and fans have noted that the album is actually a release of previous singles under one cover.
Toward the end of the year, the girls delighted their fans with two new tracks and videos - “Chocolate” and “Broken”. The last composition was inspired by the emerging problem of the so-called "death groups" (communities in social networks that persuade children and adolescents to commit suicide).
At the beginning of 2017, the group "Silver" released the video "Pass", based on the composition of the same name. A little later, the girls became the face of the Sephora perfume and cosmetics chain (owned by Louis Vuitton), whose products appeared in the following video works of the group.

Vacation for three or tradition broken
The new composition of the Silver group was approved only six months ago, and already today the producers decided that the girls needed a rest, because they again had an extensive program of performances scheduled for November and December. Spending not only working time together, but also free time is already a tradition, which this time was only partially observed.
Olga Seryabkina and Polina Favorskaya went to conquer the islands of the Indian Ocean, and the new soloist of the Silver group, Katya Kishchuk, decided that she had unresolved issues in America. Meanwhile, the Internet works wonders and this will allow the girls not to interrupt their communication during the vacation, which will last for two weeks.
As it turned out, the girls are interested in conquering not only song peaks. Having gone to Bali, Olga Seryabkina and Polina Favorskaya decided to climb the highest local volcano Agung. The third member of the team, Katya Kishchuk, was able to enjoy this walk, watching it on video, combining communication with a vacation in the USA.
In addition to the four-hour climb up the mountain, the girls actively rested on the beach, and this is not the first time that they have attracted the attention of the press with their naked bodies. September 25 will be remembered for a long time for fans of Olga Seryabkina. A brave and beautiful girl posted several provocative photos of erotic content on her Instagram. This caused a storm of indignation and some even began to threaten that they would unsubscribe from the group if the line of what was permitted was crossed again.
The girl has no choice but to admit that she really likes the film "Titanic" and the frame from it, where the heroine Kate Winslet is naked to pose for a young artist. Therefore, this whole scandal with erotic photos has gone into the background, forcing once again to think about the vicissitudes of fate and the transience of life.

It remains only to recall that the group "Silver", the composition of which has already been repeatedly updated, has never hidden the sexuality of the participants. However, this was always done beautifully and intriguingly, the gracefulness that the girls shine with is not a gift of fate, but fruitful work, the result of which is the sharpness of the lines.
However, regardless of their sexuality, the new group "Silver" successfully toured all summer, checking in several cities of Russia, not excluding the capital's clubs. Moreover, it is absolutely incomprehensible what exactly revolts the fans of the group: the story itself or the fact of its reality.
Baptism of fire for Katya
With the help of this clip, the Silver group managed to test its own strength in the new line-up. For Katya Kishchuk, it became a kind of baptism of fire, which was quite successful. In the filmed clip, the fans did not see any awkwardness, excessive embarrassment. Therefore, we can say that the audience welcomed the young soloist.
The appearance of the video was preceded by a marvelous photo shoot in Cyprus, where the girls were able to reveal their dissimilar characters to the photographer. Sun, pebble beach and a lot of sea - what could be better for the formation of a new team. Apparently, the soloists of the Silver group, whose names are very familiar to us, were engaged in strengthening it.
However, the road to rest in Cyprus was not easy. Only in May, the producers, not without regret, parted ways with Daria Shashina, who had worked with the team for about 3 years. Actually, Dasha's departure contributed to the emergence of a new composition of the Silver group. What is not to be regretted, since Katya Kishchuk, even at the casting, showed herself a 100% fan of the team, its creators. Therefore, there were no difficulties with its infusion.
The girl already knew the lyrics, knew how to move well, behaved naturally and was friendly, apparently for these qualities the audience chose Katya. In one of the interviews, she said: "Maxim Alexandrovich believed in me, he must not be let down." Now, after six months, we can say with confidence that the choice was successful.
Returning to the origins

Olga Seryabkina is the only participant in the project who has been present in it since that very famous debut performance at Eurovision 2007. And if the participants themselves can be compared with famous film stars, then the music they perform definitely has no analogues.
A little about Polina Favorskaya
However, since the topic of the Silver group and the names of the participants has already been touched upon, it is necessary to pay a little attention to Polina Favorskaya, who since 2014 has remained faithful to the team and its fans.
The girl's career before joining the production house of Maxim Fadeev was incredibly fast-paced. Polina was looking for herself, this is evidenced by her participation in completely diverse projects that cannot even be compared: “Love at first sight”, “Mom, I want to become a star”, “Vacations in Mexico”. This was facilitated by the interests and passion of the young lady. Polina dances well and knows how to present herself in a male society.
However, faced with the need to choose, Polina did not hesitate to prefer working with Maxim Fadeev. So there was a new group "Silver", the composition and names of which, apparently, will be updated more than once. And it's not about chasing the sound of coins from the creators of the team, it's just that "Silver" has become a symbol for a whole generation.
