How it was
The heroine of the next "housing problem" - Ksenia Bezuglova. Ksenia, the winner of the international beauty contest among girls in wheelchairs, is a person of great vitality, a loving wife and mother of two children, who boldly and confidently looks at life and inspires strength to all her surroundings.
For us, the task was to make the house more comfortable for the heroine, while maintaining convenience and comfort for the whole family.
We design glazing

Engineers designed plastic windows with fittings that make it easier to control from a sitting position, which is important for the heroine of the program. The selected PVC system is a frost-resistant VEKA Softline profile with a frame thickness of 70 mm, fittings - Roto NT Komfort of the latest generation.

Let's start installation
As is most often the case, installation work began with the dismantling of the old window.
For optimal insulation of the mounting seam, the junction points were designed using mounting insulating tapes in accordance with GOST.
Balcony glazing
To connect the balcony to the kitchen, it was necessary to make warm glazing and insulate the balcony from external temperature influences. Glazing using 70 mm VEKA Softline profiles with double-glazed windows fully meets these requirements. Handles and accessories are also chosen taking into account the convenience of using the heroine of the program.
The insulation will complete the opening, taking into account which the windows were installed on special expanders.
Plastic windows in the interior
As conceived by project designer Marina Lyauter, the interior has found a warm and secluded atmosphere. At the same time, the kitchen and living room lost "interfering barriers", the space became common. However, if necessary, the kitchen can be separated from the hall by sliding doors.
Balcony windows, equipped with solid wood window sills, became one of the main features of the project and a place of special interest for both the heroine herself and the whole family...
When necessary, the windows are easily opened by turning the handle located at the bottom of the window. The sashes can be opened for ventilation or in the open position, as desired.
A window is not just a "transparent plug in the wall", but a complex engineering system with different properties. For example, noise protection. If there is a multi-lane motorway, railway tracks or a tram depot outside the window, then it makes sense to consider windows that use a special noise-proof double-glazed window, which will significantly reduce the noise level in the room. If there is a quiet courtyard outside the window, then it is worth considering typical series, and in some cases (for example, when glazing a room with a balcony), the simplest three-chamber profile and the usual single-chamber double-glazed window will suffice.
An important selection criterion is the profile class. There are three such classes: A (highest), B (medium) and C (low). Windows made from profiles of different classes differ from each other in wall thickness, which means mechanical strength and dimensional stability. For example, a window made of class A profiles has a 20% higher strength of corner joints than the same window without this characteristic.
Another important criterion is the choice of the manufacturer of the final product and the installation company.. According to experts, most of the claims that consumers send to window manufacturing companies are related precisely to defects during installation work, so it is better to contact large companies that have been operating on the market for many years and are official dealers of manufacturing companies or their own authorized retailers.
2. What profiles and double-glazed windows are optimal for central Russia?
In Russia for some regions established their own requirements for the coefficient of resistance to heat transfer of window structures. So, at present, for central Russia and, in particular, for Moscow, the heat transfer resistance coefficient of the window is not lower than 0.8 m 2 ° C / W, while the profile must have a minimum thickness of 70 mm, 3 or 4 chambers and double-glazed window is not narrower than 36 or 42 mm (for example, , , ). For a country house, it is better to choose windows from profiles with an increased installation width, for example, or, as well as with energy-saving double-glazed windows with a width of 24 to 50 mm.
3.Does it make sense to install windows from profiles with 7 or more cameras?
Does the number of cameras in a profile affect the consumer properties of a window, and if so, how?
If you are building an energy efficient home, in which the task is to reduce heat loss, then it makes sense to choose windows from profiles with an increased installation width (for example, with 7 chambers and a profile width of 82 mm). The wider the profile, the more “warm” a window (a window with enhanced insulating properties) can be made from it. Such windows are classified as energy-saving, which will further significantly reduce the cost of heating a private house. In the conditions of a metropolis, for good heat and sound insulation, a 70 mm profile with 4 or 5 cameras is quite enough, and therefore it makes no sense to overpay. The number of chambers in the profile itself does not affect the thermal physics of the window.
4. Which double-glazed windows are effective in terms of sound insulation?
Noise control is one of the most difficult tasks for plastic windows.. Due to the presence of several sealing contours, high-frequency noise disappears from plastic windows, but at the same time, low-frequency noise remains practically unchanged. A typical double-glazed window reduces noise by about 29-31 dB; for greater sound insulation, a wider profile and thicker glass are required.
To improve sound insulation manufacturers consider it expedient to use a profile system with an installation width of 70 mm or more, as well as the use of glasses of different thicknesses (4-6 mm) located at different distances from each other in a double-glazed window (the so-called packages with an asymmetric formula). Also, a special acoustic triplex, which reduces resonance, gives a good soundproofing effect. But this is quite an expensive pleasure.
5. What to choose: night ventilation or valve?
Slit ventilation is a piece of furniture, it is not visible, it is placed on the sash and is controlled by the sash handle. A valve is a mechanism through which air enters the room when the leaf is closed. The valve allows ventilation when the window is completely closed, but to install it, you have to open the frame and sash in order to make through holes, and this, in turn, reduces the degree of sealing of the window contour.
If it is not possible to carry out an influx of fresh air, then, of course, valves will have to be installed. If it is possible to arrange a ventilation system, then it is advisable not to install valves - everything should be closed, especially in winter, in order to reduce heat loss. In the conditions of the Russian climate, valves are not recommended.
6. How is the burglary resistance of windows ensured?
If the window has at least one sash open, then additional requirements are imposed on its fittings. It must be anti-burglary: with a certain number of locking points and mushroom-shaped pins, an anti-burglary handle with a key and additional anti-burglary elements (blocking device, overlays against drilling, etc.). As for plastic doors, pin and hook locks must be installed in them.
The release of the program Housing problem "Kitchen-snake" on the NTV channel was dedicated to the implementation of the design project of Maria Boyarova. The designer suggested using a special thermal block to insulate window openings - this is an air chamber between the inner wall of the profile and the reinforcement - it is this thermal block that allows the structure to withstand temperature changes in the range of more than 60 ° C.
Housing issue "Kitchen in the glare"
In the new edition of "Kitchen in the Glare" of the "Housing Problem" program on the NTV channel, the specialists of the "Windows Prosvet" company helped to equip the kitchen, taking into account the owners' love for trains and the railway. The result is a light, warm and functional room in the style of a wagon compartment with a new large window from the Rehau Blitz-Design profile and a wide window sill combined with an additional worktop. A double-glazed window in combination with a rubber seal is able to withstand temperatures from -50 to 100°C. Winter cold, summer heat and street noise will no longer disturb the comfort of home!

Okna Prosvet, as a permanent partner of the Dachny Otvet TV project, this time took part in the implementation of the ideas of architects Tatiana and Ariana to combine the spaces of the living room and the terrace. The decision to install two window-doors from a three-chamber profile with three sealing contours, a decorative layout, became a key one. Security was provided by metal roller shutters that operate automatically. Another window opening in the room was also expanded, equipped with a new PVC structure. As a result, we got a bright kitchen-living room, combined it with a terrace.

By tradition, the company "Windows Prosvet" took part in the new project of the TV program "Dachny otvet". In this program, we worked with design and architecture specialists Inna Tedjoeva and Zina Broyan. Our specialists were faced with the task of making 2 panoramic windows out of 4 old wooden windows. The company "Windows Prosvet" has become a permanent partner of the TV project "Dachniy Otvet" and in this issue our specialists had a difficult task to make a reliable and functional attic glazing for a children's room. Together with the architects of the project, Dmitry Alexandrov and Vera Gapon, it was decided to install windows with three-chamber double-glazed windows from the Rehau Blitz design profile, with sealing contours and a system depth of 60 mm. Our company "Windows Prosvet" took part in the TV project "Country Answer" with designer Maria Rubleva. We assisted in the creation of a creme brulee bedroom - an interior in which the tasks of functionality and transformation were solved. The release of the program Summer answer "Suprematist bathroom with a waterfall" on the NTV channel. A design project by Andrey Kalmykov, Olesya Vinnikova and Maxim Chernyavsky, which addressed the issue of installing new REHAU energy-saving windows with a classic layout.
