Entertaining performances in las vegas. The best shows in las vegas

10.07.2019

Since the "war" between hotels in Las Vegas for the most grandiose concerts and shows began, the menu of performances has only expanded and improved, to the delight of millions of tourists. Hotels do not skimp on fees, and the most famous performers, from Elvis Presley (Elvis Presley) and Frank Sinatra (Frank Sinatra) to Madonna (Madonna), Elton John (Elton John) and Celine Dion (Celine Dion), performed with great pleasure and performing in Las Vegas.

But the secret of the attractiveness of Las Vegas is not only in concerts of stars, but in the fact that there is entertainment for every taste, from performances by magicians and tiger tamers to grandiose shows and water extravaganzas. The most fashionable choreographers, musicians, designers take part in staging such shows, and engineers specially create unique hall designs, multi-level pools, and the like.

There are no such shows anywhere in the world, primarily because only in Las Vegas such funds are invested in entertainment for tourists. An example is KA, one of the new Cirque du Soleil shows: the staging, costumes, construction and equipment of a special hall for this show alone cost more than 160 million dollars!!! Children under 5 years of age are not allowed to the performance (The venue of the show is the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino).

In recent years, popular Broadway musicals have begun to move from New York to Las Vegas. The following are currently underway or preparing to open on the Strip:

Mamma Mia

"Mamma Mia" ("Mother Mia") is a cheerful, technically perfect performance, a world mega-hit, one of the most sensational shows. This musical is based on the songs of the group "ABBA". The musical tells the story of a 20-year-old girl who dreams of seeing her father at least once in her life. She chooses three possible candidates and invites them... to the wedding. This is a bright and dynamic performance, a memorable vaudeville with a fun story, great choreography and beloved music (Show Venue: Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. Duration: 90 minutes).

Phantom of the Opera

"Phantom of the Opera" ("The Phantom of the Opera") - The production was carried out in the new complex "The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino in Las Vegas".

The producers enlisted Jim Steinmeyer, who had worked with David Copperfield, to help refine some of the theatrical stunts.

Set in a custom-built theatre, with an interior that takes into account the larger size of the hall than the Opéra de Paris, the lair of the Phantom is the most grandiose musical of its kind staged to date. The interior design of the theater will instantly take you to the famous magical world of the Paris Opera. The production uses complex pyrotechnic effects on stage and throughout the theater, and stuntmen are involved in scenes that require, in addition to acting, physical skills and are the most exciting. In general, the largest troupe among all American productions participates in the performance!

The production cost $75 million.

In Las Vegas, The Phantom is cut to 95 minutes (instead of the 130 minutes of the London and Broadway production).

The Beatles

Show of the circus "Cirque du Soleil" (Cirque du Soleil) called "Love" ("Love"), dedicated to the history of the group The Beatles.

The plot of the show is part chronological and part fictional journey to an era when four people from Liverpool conquered the whole world. During the performance, photographs of the band members and episodes from their last concert are projected onto the walls of the hall. Fragments of interviews and working recordings are heard.

The show opens with "Because", along with "Yesterday", "Revolution", "Come Together" and other hits. Aerial acrobats, stilt performers, break dancers and skateboarders work on the stage.

They play the characters of the songs "Sgt. Pepper "s Lonely Herat Club Band", "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds", "Lady Madonna" and the inhabitants of "Octopus" s Garden". The work was attended by Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney, Olivia Harrison and Yo-ko Ono.

A special hall for 2,000 spectators was built for the screenings at the Mirage Hotel in Vegas.

"Le Reve"

The main concert hall of the Wynn Hotel is the POOL with indoor platforms and tunnels. Absolutely avant-garde solution. There are no analogues. Connection together Theater, Water. Ballet, Music will hypnotize you with staging magic throughout the Le Reve show! Duration: 90 minutes.

Blue Man Group (Blue Men Show)

A creative team that is best known for its stage stories. This new show, lively, full of emotion, is stunning visually and aurally with its musical power and fullness of impressions. The Blue Man Group is renowned for producing a unique musical style, with deft use of a variety of imaginary instruments. At their performances, fun and joy of the public always reign. In Las Vegas, the Blue Man Group performs in concert halls with at least 1,200 seats. Around the world and in every country, this group has its own ardent fans (Duration: 90 minutes, Venetian Hotel).

"O"

This is an amazing show that connects 4 elements together: water, air, fire and earth. The best gymnasts, aerial acrobats, synchronized swimmers, divers and many others take part in the show. An unforgettable spectacle is woven from vivid images. Artists in costumes of the 15th-20th centuries (Venetian costumes of the Romantic period are especially good). In the center of everything that is happening is a huge pool with a capacity of 5.5 million liters of water. The spectacle is accompanied by a variety of music: from simple street melodies to exquisite opera parts - everything to create a unique mood for each act of the performance. A smooth steel grand piano glides across the stage, slowly sinking into the water at the end. Everything that happens is illuminated by a mystical, magical light. If you want to recharge with amazing energy, experience all possible emotions, just plunge into the abyss of passion and experience true beauty, do not miss this unique spectacle!

The statistics of the most popular show in Las Vegas - "O": over 2000 performances since October 1998; 4 million viewers; about 300 artists have international diving certificates. © Duration: 90 minutes, Bellagio Hotel.

"Cirque de Solieil Mystere" (Mystique of the Cirque du Soleil)

Comedy with music, dance and acrobatics. A fabulous journey through ancient times. Korean and Chinese circus performances that demonstrate strength and dexterity, elegance and beauty, humor and kindness. The troupe consists of 72 artists from 18 countries (Show Venue: Treasure Island Hotel & Casino. Duration: 90 minutes).

Show for adults

Speaking about the various entertainments in Las Vegas, one cannot fail to mention the “adult” shows, of which there are also a great many. And we are not talking about a banal striptease in a smoky hall, no, these are just colorful erotic shows that take place in hotels. Several of these shows are designed specifically for a female audience.

Tickets at low prices

In the largest bottle of Coca-Cola in the world, located opposite the New York Hotel, there is a box office selling discounted tickets for shows starting that evening. A screen hangs above the box office, where a ticker informs about all the performances for which reduced tickets are offered, but it is not at all necessary that there will be such tickets for the show you have chosen. If your goal is not to save money, then tickets should be purchased in advance on the Internet or through your hotel. The price for one ticket is usually $50 - $100.

For many, Las Vegas is associated with exorbitant prices and entertainment for millionaires.

Morning in Vegas is like waking up with a stranger: and it seemed to be a good night,
but in the light of day, the charm has evaporated without a trace ... It would be evening soon!

Las Vegas is just over 100 years old, and this is a very small age in the history of cities. Like all young people, Las Vegas does not seem to work, but to have fun: playing, dancing, drinking and living one day, or rather at night, and the nights in Las Vegas are the brightest in the world.

Casinos and shows in Las Vegas

Las Vegas is Spanish for pasture. 40 million tourists a year come here to graze. All the biggest casinos are in hotels, and all the best hotels are casinos. Often, casino owners pay visitors food, accommodation, and even air travel, so long as people play in their casino. True, you can use the free tour only by undertaking a commitment to bet a large amount in the casino.

Casino bets start from 5 cents. In 15 minutes, you can blow $ 1,000, despite the fact that the first 5 minutes are lucky, and then you need to stop on time. But in the casino everything is done so that the visitor forgets about the time.

There are no clocks anywhere in the casino. At any time of the day, the same, even lighting is maintained, so that it is not clear whether it is morning or evening.

In Las Vegas, not only do they play a lot, but they also drink a lot: they drink to wash their winnings; drink to wash down a loss.

To get visitors, casino managers go out of their way! Tourists are offered free drinks, free parking, food bonuses, discounts on accommodation. But even this is not enough, so every evening all the major casinos hold grandiose free shows to attract people passing by.

Singing fountain show

One of the most famous is the fountains on Belagio Street. In order to look at it, the spectators take the best seats in advance. Fountains turn on every 15 minutes - this is one of the largest singing fountains in the world.

The cost of the project is 40 million dollars, viewing is free. It is assumed that imbued with a stunning spectacle, people will go to the casino.

Eruption

The volcanic eruption at the Mirage Hotel casino, like many things in Vegas, is not a real, but very spectacular sight.

Pirate show

But most of all people gather for the Pirate Show at the Treasure Island casino hotel.

Despite the grandeur of all these shows, what you can see for free on the streets of the city is only a prelude to what lies inside.

Circus Dusolei

In Vegas, there are 5 shows of the Dusolei circus at the same time, from the mystical to the erotic. The Dusolei Circus is perhaps the most popular and famous in the world, it is fundamentally different from the usual circus known to us. So, for example, there are no trained animals here, the Dusolei circus is, first of all, grandiose shows.

Mystery is the very first production of the circus. For 19 years now, the show has been going on every day and without fail with a full house. Despite the resounding success, the numbers are not shown for an encore.

By agreement with the hotel, the performance should end at the designated hour, because while people are watching the circus, they are not playing. And for a casino, every minute when people do not play is a loss of thousands.

Our domestic circus school is highly valued abroad, which is why the Dusolei circus is full of Russians and Ukrainians. It is very difficult for our compatriots to maintain the rhythm of a constant holiday in the city, but they are kept here by high fees, divulging which on the air means violating trade secrets.

The Grand Video Show on Fremont Street

There is another famous and expensive show in Las Vegas, only admission to it is absolutely free. At night, Fremont Street turns into the biggest video show in the world.

In order to build it, it was necessary to spend 70 million dollars. But now everyone can just come and look at it. The Fremonstreet Experience screen is the largest digital video screen in the world. It covers the whole block! There are 12 million LEDs on the ceiling. For example, the Queen video comes with special effects, lightning and graphics.

Hotel "Stratosphere"

The highest hotel - the Stratosphere - looks like a TV tower and is famous for the fact that on its top there are incredibly scary rides: a creepy falling elevator, a nightmarishly falling trailer and a terrible green carousel. Those who cannot overcome their fear are called chickens by the staff. And the attraction "Ekkrim" is generally in fourth place in the ranking of the most terrible attractions in the world.

In order to get to the Stratosphere restaurant, you need to go through the same security control as at Kennedy Airport! But what wouldn't you do for good food and a great view? In addition, the floor in this restaurant rotates in a circle, so the landscape outside the window changes all the time.

Hotel Belagio

It is difficult for a wealthy tourist to choose a hotel in the city. One of the most luxurious is "Belagio". The hotel is named after a beautiful Italian town in the Alps and everything here reminds of Italy. If the outside is a palace, then the courtyards are a cozy villa. It has its own gardens and 5 huge heated pools.

During the construction of the hotel, a lot of money was spent: there is only a Rollex clock on the walls, the next thing that impresses is a chandelier with two thousand handmade glass petals. Every day, the hotel staff changes wilted flowers for fresh ones, and every month the scenery is completely changed.

But, the most amazing awaits in the rooms. The rooms have two rooms and two baths, or even more. There are real paintings on the walls, not reproductions. One bath is finished with Italian marble, while taking the other - a jacuzzi - you can enjoy a magnificent view of Las Vegas Street.

The rooms are luxurious and the price is, frankly, ridiculous. The answer to this is simple. The main income is brought by Bellagio slot machines, and the hotel is so, in the load.

Lumpuru Brain Health Center

To better understand the city, you need to walk around it on foot, you can’t see everything from the car. Vegas during the day is not as bright and colorful as in the evening, but there is something to see, for example, a unique brain treatment clinic.

The Lumpuru Brain Health Center was opened just recently. According to the architects, the unusual shape of the building lifts the spirits of patients and staff, thus contributing to a speedy recovery.

Boulevard Strip

All the brightest sights of the world are recreated on the Strip. Only all this, although impressive in its large size, is just a grandiose expensive fake. And all in order to lure tourists with their wallet inside.

The Strip during the day

Strip Boulevard at night

Not far from Vegas, 4 hours away is the famous Grand Canyon - a real miracle of nature. You can get there by car, but if you have funds, you can also fly there by helicopter. Helicopter travel costs $500. Not cheap pleasure, but absolutely justifies its price.

From a bird's eye view, it can be seen that the city stands alone right in the middle of the desert, surrounded by mountains. It is also clearly visible that in Vegas there are only a couple of wide streets with hotels and casinos, and everything else is blocks of one-story houses.

The city quickly ends and the rocky Mahami Desert begins. A few minutes into the flight, a lake appears, created by the damming of the Colorado River. When it seems like you can't see anything else, the Grand Canyon appears!

For 10 million years, the Colorado River eroded a crack in the ground half a millimeter a year, and the Grand Canyon was formed.

It is in such places that a person probably dreams of being a bird.

Las Vegas for budget travellers.

The easiest way to get to the city is by taking the monorail. The ticket is not cheap - 5 dollars. The monorail is a fully automated railway that runs through the entire city. There are no drivers here, all trains are computer controlled. This 6.5 km long space monorail cost $650 million, $100 million per kilometer.

Accommodation

For budget tourists, a hostel is ideal for an overnight stay. A hostel is a worldwide alternative to a hotel, in our opinion - just a hostel. There is a shared toilet and shower, there is a shared kitchen where you can cook groceries. As a rule, the room is designed for 6-12 people. People from all over the world live here.

The cost of such a bed ranges from 5 to 20 dollars. The $20 usually includes free breakfast.

The rooms are quite clean, but poor. Curtains and linens are clean and the room is warm. Outside the window is quite a decent view. And sometimes there is even free shampoo in the shower, but more often there is no hot water.

According to the rules of living in a hostel, no one can be accommodated in a double room, especially a person of the opposite sex.

For breakfast at the hostel, you can make yourself coffee, toast with jam and peanut butter, and here, in the kitchen, you can chat with other guests. Hostel neighbors are people from different parts of the world who have traveled to more countries than people with a golden credit card. Which proves once again that you don't have to have a lot of money to travel.

subsistence

For a person with a small amount of money, the problem of food becomes acute: restaurants are not affordable, but you want to eat something. Therefore, the ideal option is buffets, they are in every hotel. The system is this: you pay for the entrance at the checkout, go inside and eat everything you see to the satisfaction.

One-time admission to the hotel buffet costs $17, you can come several times a day, then the ticket will cost about $30 for adults, because children eat for free.

But the food is the sea and it is quite decent, you can take a break from American hamburgers and potatoes, take yourself soup, the usual mashed potatoes and a piece of meat. There are fruits and even dessert. The system is amazing, it's a pity, but taking food out of the buffet is not allowed.

Wedding in Las Vegas: is it possible?

According to the laws of the state of Nevada, anyone can get married in Las Vegas: quickly and without red tape. Churches advertise their services everywhere.

Some of them work 24 hours a day: arrived, got married, drove off, and you don’t even have to get out of the car. However, the certificate is issued genuine, it has legal force.

The ease of marriage attracts couples from all over the planet to Las Vegas. In America, it is so fashionable to get married in Las Vegas that the whole queues really line up. Despite the fact that hundreds of weddings take place in Las Vegas every day, the locals do not seem to get tired of it. All the way, the newlyweds are greeted by pedestrians and passing cars are honking by.

After the wedding, you can get on a honeymoon trip to Venice. Hotel "Venice" is one of the most interesting. Here, on the second floor, under an artificial sky, there are real canals filled with water, along which gondolas float past Piazza San Marco under the Venetian bridges. Here you will see ceilings imitating the real sky, changing color depending on the time of day.

If, having arrived in Las Vegas, you manage to visit at least some of the listed attractions and lose not all your money, then you came to this city for a reason!

The state of Nevada has always been distinguished by its free spirit, and Las Vegas especially. Only here, for example, is it allowed to smoke and drink alcohol on the streets and in many public places, and half-naked girls walk around the streets. Only here you can go to the club in the evening single, and wake up in the morning with your wife at your side. Only here, even the most non-gambling person can not resist not to look into the casino.

One thing is for sure - Las Vegas loves fun and money! If you're coming here, get ready to shell out, otherwise it will be boring. Entertainment, on which you can spend your savings, do not count. Let's see what awaits you in Vegas?

Casino and slot machines

For many, Las Vegas and casinos are synonymous. In how many films are these velvet tables, flashing machines, scattering of chips, roulette chirps and eyes burning with excitement? I think dozens, if not more. Now there are about a hundred casinos in Vegas, and thousands of gambling halls. They are happy to take into their arms those who want to try their luck. The minimum bets are quite small, so almost anyone can play. The main thing is to leave on time))

Don't know how to play? You will be happy to tell and show everything. Ready to spend a lot of money? So, for you, separate rooms with higher rates. Do you want to play and admire pretty young ladies? There is such a thing too! For those who are not ready to play big or just simply do not want to understand the rules of complex games, there are plenty of slot machines in which bets start from 1 cent, and the rules are mostly not complicated. In any case, anyone can pull the lever or press the button))

All the main casinos are located in the Dautnatuna area along Fremont Street, as well as Las Vegas Boulevard, more precisely, its part, which is called the Strip. By the way, they say that the minimum rates for Fremont are lower, because now this place is not as popular among tourists as the Las Vegas Strip, sparkling with lights and tempting with all sorts of entertainment.

Anyone can look into the casino, the doors are open to everyone, and face control is not practiced. Yes, and rightly so, we have long found out that money does not smell. This means that in the halls you can see both homeless-looking peasants and comrades in expensive suits.

Andryusiks and I, although not very gambling guys, could not leave Vegas without playing. One evening we went to the Luxor casino and after some simple manipulations with one of the slot machines, we won as much as 20 dollars. Naturally, we did not know any cunning strategies and pressed the buttons at random, realizing only one thing, that we should not save too much on bets.

After each game in the machine (or in the process, if you want to stop and collect your winnings), a voucher is issued, which can then be used as a "credit card" for other games. That is, it is the same for all devices. Its "shelf life" is six months. You can cash out the voucher here, in the hall, in a special machine for issuing money. Everything is easy, simple and understandable.

Theoretically, all security guards do not really like it when they take pictures or videotape the tables and machines in the casino and may ask us to leave, however, no one has ever made a remark to us.

Shows, concerts and performances

No less popular than casinos are all kinds of Las Vegas shows. No wonder it is called the entertainment capital of the world. What is not here:

  • comedy performances
  • Illusionists and other magicians
  • Circus performances
  • Adult Programs
  • Hypnotists
  • Concerts of famous stars
  • Musicals
  • dance shows
  • Sport events

The most popular are, for example, the famous Cirque Du Soleil, which offers almost a dozen different programs, Blue Man Group, David Copperfield, the musical Mamma Mia! and others.

Price tags are different: on average from 30 to 100 dollars, but for all the most interesting and popular you will have to pay from 100 to 200 dollars.

Where can I find information about the show? Firstly, in any hotel at the reception you can take a booklet, which will list all the most interesting, or rather, everything in general. There you will also find a lot of flyers, discount coupons and other useful waste paper. Secondly, you can look here.

You can find out more about the Cirque du Soleil.

Night clubs and bars

Those who can't sit still, and they are the majority in Vegas, are invited by numerous nightclubs and bars. There are both establishments at large hotels-casinos, and existing on their own. Clubs in Las Vegas are considered unique, because it is here that you can come face to face with some celebrity.

Some of the most famous clubs:

  • Chateau Nightclub at Paris Hotel-Casino
  • Marquee Nightclub in The Cosmopolitan
  • Moon Nightclub in the Palms
  • Voodoo Lounge at Rio Hotel

More bars! They can be found at any casino or even in the open air.

Attractions and entertainment

For those who like to tickle their nerves or see something interesting, there is also a lot of interesting things.

Stratosphere Tower Thrill Rides

For example, the Stratosphere Hotel offers four attractions: The SkyJump, the Big Shot, the X Scream, and Insanity, located at the very top of the tower. All of them will give a thrill and the opportunity to see a panoramic view of the city. Details and prices can be viewed.

Rollercoaster of the New York- New York Hotel (The Big Apple Coaster)

One of the most exciting and beloved by tourists attractions. Describing it is useless, you have to try. Opening hours: Sunday-Thursday - from 11 am to 11 pm, Friday and Saturday - from 10:30 am to midnight. A single ticket costs $14, a day pass is $25.

Aquariums, zoos

You can admire Aquarium at the Mirage Hotel(Aquarium at The Mirage). It is located right behind the reception desk and you can look at it for free.

In addition, lovers of the underwater world can visit shark reef aquarium at the Mandalay Bay Hotel. One of the highlights of this place is the sensory pool, where visitors can pet the fish. An adult ticket costs $18, a child ticket costs $12.

At the Flamingo Casino Hotel you can admire wild flamingos. In addition to these beauties, there are other birds for which heavenly conditions are created.

Walking along the Strip in the evening, you can witness an amazing show of singing and dancing Bellagio fountain(Fountains Of Bellagio) opposite the hotel of the same name. The sight is truly bewitching, even if you have seen more than one such fountain in your life. Immediately after this hotel rises another - Bellagio (Bellagio), which is most famous for its dancing fountain.

Here is a video from the scene (the quality is so-so, because someone was constantly pushing and the focus did not want to be tuned in any way, but it gives a general idea).

At the hotel The Venetian there is an opportunity to ride a gondola along an impromptu canal that recreates a piece of Venice.

On Fremont Street, you can be a spectator of a light show Fremont Street Experience, which involves screens that form a dome over the pedestrian part of the street.

Curious shopping malls

Not far from the MGM Grand Hotel there is a store-museum M&M's World which will appeal not only to children, but also to adults. Here you can just look at your favorite colorful sweets, as well as buy souvenirs and gifts.

At the New York- New York Casino Hotel you will find another chocolate shop - Hershey's Chocolate World. Here you can try the most delicious Hershey chocolates and also buy delicious or just branded souvenirs.

This is not a complete list of entertainment in Las Vegas, I would even say that this is just the beginning))

Good evening everyone! As you know, the city is not cheap. But not everyone knows that there are many places in it where you can watch exciting shows and appreciate impressive exhibitions without paying a penny for it. What a twist! In this way, hotels attract visitors, pleasing to the eye and leaving unforgettable moments in memory. Most of these locations are located directly on, and one more is in Downtown, on. For those who do not want to stop there, the information about paid shows and museums at the end of the article will come in handy.

The most famous sight in Las Vegas, which you definitely need to see with your own eyes. The best time for this is the dark time of the day, but during the day the fountains look impressive. The essence of this show is a combination of opera music and water jets “dancing” under it. Looking at what was happening, I felt goosebumps running along my skin in the rhythm of a waltz.

  • Where: at the hotel.
  • When: the show lasts only 5 minutes, and takes place every hour from morning to night; the last one is at 23:55.

2. Flower garden at the Bellagio Conservatory. Immediately after the fountain show, I advise you to look into the stunningly beautiful garden of tens of thousands of fresh flowers, which is located in the same hotel. The theme of the garden is updated 5 times a year according to the season - Chinese New Year, spring, summer, autumn and winter. For example, in the spring, as many as 82,830 flowers are displayed in the garden. This is a great place for photos and a little break from the hustle and bustle of the city.

  • Where: at the hotel.
  • When: The garden is open every day around the clock, but several times a year it is closed for a few days for a shift (May 15-19, September 11-15, November 26-30).

Deciding to compete with Bellagio, the Mirage hotel came up with its own "chip" and installed a makeshift volcano that "erupts" for tourists several times during the day. We missed this show, completely forgetting about it, so I can’t rate it. If you manage to watch it, share your impressions in the comments.

  • Where: at the Mirage Hotel.
  • When: starts at 20:00 and 21:00, Fri-Sat at 22:00.

For children and adults, circus performances are organized every 30-45 minutes at the hotel in a specially installed mini-arena. They change throughout the day - they can be acrobats, fakirs, magicians, strongmen, trapeze walkers and other artists from different countries, including even Russia. We got on cyclists.

  • Where: in the hotel arena.
  • When: Starts at 11:15, last show at 22:45, Fri-Sat at 23:45. Duration: 15-20 minutes.

Caesar's Palace invites us to plunge into the world of the kingdom of Atlantis. Inside the hotel's shopping center, there is a fountain with statues that "come to life" during the performance. They begin to move to the music, delighting visitors.

  • Where: At the end of The Forum Shops at the hotel. It will be easier to enter not through the main entrance of the hotel, but through a separate extension, which will be a little to the right (see photo).
  • When: The show is 5 minutes long and runs every hour from 11:00-23:00, Fri-Sat until 00:00.

6. Live flamingos and colored fish in the garden of the Flamingo Hotel. Another pleasant way to take a break from the bustling city is to relax at the artificial waterfall and watch the colorful fish in the garden of the Flamingo Hotel. The garden is small, but quite interesting. Parrots, real pink flamingos and turtles in the pond - isn't it lovely?

  • Where: hotel backyard
  • When: I do not know the exact hours of operation, but the garden is open from early morning until late evening.

7. Light show Fremont Street Experience and artist performances on Fremont Street. In Downtown Las Vegas on Fremont Street, LG Electronics installed a giant screen 460 meters long. The screen fits more than 12 million LED displays, which are controlled by 10 computers at once. Several times a day, he shows videos accompanied by music by DJ Tiesto, The Doors and others. This spectacle is unique and one of a kind, it attracts more than 17 million tourists every year. At the same time, absolutely free.

  • Where: .
  • When: The show is less than 10 minutes long and runs every hour daily at 20:00, 21:00, 22:00, 23:00 and 00:00, Fri-Sat still at 01:00.

In addition, during the day and into the night on Fremont you can meet a variety of street performers - from dressed up in costumes of "living statues" to mimes, dancers, magicians and artists. There is a stage where singers and bands perform in the evenings (to the left of the 4 Queens Hotel).

  • The hotel used to host a grandiose Pirate show. We really hoped to get to it, but with regret we found that it has not existed for a couple of years. According to reviews, the show was impressive - it showed the scene of the capture of the ship by pirates, but it turned out to be too expensive for the hotel.

8. Free entertainment for hotel guests. Some Strip hotels offer free entertainment for their guests. If you are not, then you can still use the services by simply paying for the ticket. For example, the hotel is famous for its mini-roller coasters.

On the roof of the hotel there is an observation platform from which the whole city is visible.

9. About paid museums, shows and exhibitions. In addition to freebies, Las Vegas offers its guests paid museums, shows and exhibitions. I will list the brightest of them.

  • Museum of Neon Signs (Neon Museum)- here is a collection of old neon signs of Vegas hotels. Hotels are periodically demolished, but their colorful banners remain. A daytime visit is possible, but in the evening it will be more interesting - the signs light up in the dark. The museum is located on the Strip. What I did not like: you need to book tickets in advance on the site; moreover, if for some reason you do not have time to get to the right time, as happened with us, the tickets disappear. As I did not beg on the phone, explaining a good reason, I had to say goodbye to the bucks that had flown into the museum's piggy bank.
  • Exhibition of artifacts from the liner Titanic (Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition)– the hotel contains the rarest exhibits from the famous Titanic liner. The authors of the exhibition recreated "the same staircase" from the first class hall. You can take pictures on it for an additional fee.
  • The Mob Museum- its full name: "The National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement" (The National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement), which speaks for itself. This is a huge area with interactive exhibits. Located in Downtown.
  • Zak Bagans' The Haunted Museum- a novelty from the creator of the show "Ghost Adventures". The museum is dedicated to everything paranormal. Here you will find old dolls and various items that may even have been inhabited by someone's souls.

  • As for paid shows, there are more than enough of them. The brightest and most famous shows in Las Vegas are productions Cirque du Soleil: O, Ka, Zumanity, Le Reve and others. I myself have not yet visited a single one, but, judging by the reviews, they are distinguished by their special entertainment and professionalism of the organization. Tickets will cost you an average of $100; shows are held at various hotels in the Strip.
  • The hotel is famous for David Copperfield's performances, the Medieval Tournament of Kings. The illusionist Chris Angel's show "Believe" is popular. All you have to do is choose your favorite show and enjoy. As I said, there is no boring place in Las Vegas.
