Step 1. First, draw a vertical oval (ellipse) in the middle of the sheet. It will serve as the basis for the drawing of our vase. The ellipse itself should be drawn a little closer to the bottom of the paper.

How to learn to draw a rose with a pencil
STEP ONE. And so, we have everything we need, let's go directly to the fact how to draw a rose step by step. First, draw a circle. But don't make it a circle. First stage . Usually flowers start to draw from the center. Let's outline the center of the flower with a circle. From it we will draw a vertical line - a line for the future stem. In the circle, we need to draw four slightly curved lines with a thin, barely noticeable line. These will show us the center of the petals later on.

Third stage. We finish drawing three petals, going beyond the contour-circle, which we outlined with you in the first stage. Between the resulting petals, we need to draw other petals. Look carefully at how it looks in the picture, and try to make it as similar as possible. We outline the stem ... 
Fourth stage. Draw the poppy stem and leaves along the vertical line. We add cuts on the petals, they will make the drawing more lively and believable.

How to draw a vase of flowers with a pencil
Step one.
