The peak of Alexander Barykin's popularity came in the eighties. We decided to recall his work, as well as other brightest domestic performers of that time.
Alexander was born in the village of Berezovo, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug, but as a child he moved with his family to the city of Lyubertsy near Moscow. He began to study music at school, having organized the first group in high school and performing with it on dance floors. Then he wrote the first songs and poems. It is interesting that, having already become popular, he very rarely allowed himself to perform songs on his own poems.
Barykin graduated from the vocal department of the Gnesinka, and then in absentia from the Krasnodar Institute of Culture.

In October 1991, Igor Talkov died. He was shot by Igor Malakhov, director of the singer Aziza. He was 34 years old.

Yuriy Shatunov
The youngest member of our list, but at the same time no less popular and even iconic, Yuri Shatunov comes from Kumertau. Since his father did not show interest in his son, after the death of his mother, the future star was taken up by an aunt. Then he was brought up in an orphanage - first in the Orenburg region, then in Orenburg itself.
In 1986, he met the head of the musical circle, Yuri Kuznetsov, with the help of whom he created the Laskovy May group and made the first recordings of his songs on a conventional tape recorder. Among them was the composition "White Roses". It was she who heard Andrei Razin on the train and immediately decided to find the boy who sang this song.
He found a team and became its producer, making the group one of the most popular in those years. The team lasted until 1992 until the departure of Shatunov.
After leaving the group, Yuri lived in Germany for some time, then returned and continued to sing solo. He sings even now, although, of course, not so successfully.
