28.04.2019

We collected a real top ten stories that celebrities (even evil rockers) are people too. And kind ones. Especially when grief is next to them.

Marilyn Manson

Many call him a pervert, many do not understand his style and music. And many don't even know who he is. And this, by the way, is not just a legendary rock musician, but one of the kindest celebrities in the world. In 2000, he visited a teenager with terminal cancer. Not only that, Manson brought a bunch of memorabilia for the boy, and stayed with the child at his house for several hours. The guys chatted, played video games, played the guitar, and even read comics. The boy died three weeks later. At the time of his death, he was wearing a Manson jersey.

Catch one of the best (according to the editors) clips of Manson:

Metallica

It was in 2009. 85-year-old American Margaret claimed that Metallica's hits saved her from cancer. The story raised so much hype, even the members of the ensemble found out about it. The guys were not at a loss, and invited Margaret to their concert (for which, by the way, tickets had already been sold out for a long time). Then, before the performance, they took the old woman backstage, where they chatted with her. The final touch - James Hetfield (vocals, guitar) dedicated "Nothing Else Matters" to the lady.

Hollywood stars are always in the spotlight: photographers, interviews, journalists, filming, every day, as if under the gun of one big camera that captures their successes, failures, bad or good deeds, and then spreads this news around the world, giving food for speculation or gossip. Usually people discuss the crazy or bad deeds of the stars, their folly and obvious mistakes, and the good deeds are somehow hushed up, go into the shadows. Let's try to prove that the kindest people in the world- just Hollywood stars.

First among the best

Turns out, the kindest people in the world related to show business and the film industry are Johnny Depp, Jerry Halliwell, Rene Zellweger, Colin Farrell, Jessica Simpson, football player David Beckham, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, Oprah Winfrey. And now more about them. Rating " The kindest people in the world"headed by the incomparable and versatile actor Johnny Depp, who always looks quite non-trivial, unusual and extremely sexy both in cinema and in life. Although everyone knows his fickleness and folly, nevertheless, for many years now, Johnny has been living in a happy marriage with one single woman - singer Vanessa Paradis. The star of the trilogy "Pirates of the Caribbean" and alternative cinema, Depp not so long ago helped his fan, seventeen-year-old Sophie Wilkinson, come out of a coma.

The voice of the star returns from the other world

The girl was in a coma for about five months, and her parents had already begun to lose all hope for the recovery of their daughter, having tried literally everything. There was only one, funny at first glance, means - the voice of their daughter's favorite actor, that is, Depp. They wrote a touching letter to Depp, asking him, if not to visit their daughter himself, then at least to record his voice. So Johnny did, recording an audio track where he parodied his most famous character - Captain Jack Sparrow. Hearing this voice, Sophie moved her legs for the first time, and then the story of her gradual recovery began.

The melody will save lives

And this story is not the only one of its kind. Former member of the once popular Spice Girls group Geri Halliwell sang for one of her not-quite-usual fans. Jessica Knight is fourteen years old and suffered a severe stroke that left her bedridden. Jeri came to her clinic, where she sang just a couple of lines from her song, after which the girl began to control her arms and legs. Now, according to some sources, Jessica feels much better, she just doesn’t remember what particular song the Peppercorn soloist sang to her.

good mood seller

The kindest people in the world, such as actress Renee Zellweger, who is famous for the films about the charming Bridget Jones, not only save people's lives, but also help others to fulfill their desires. Once, the actress went to the Wendy brand store, where she noticed a saleswoman looking longingly at the shoes from the famous designer Manolo Blahnik. The actress said that she perfectly understood the desire of a woman to be beautiful always and everywhere, and therefore she ... bought these shoes, and then, when the saleswoman returned to her workplace, she anonymously presented them to her, simply wrapping them beautifully and putting them on her table.

American dream

Title " The kindest people in the world The desperate boor Colin Farel and the scandalous TV presenter Oprah Winfrey were also awarded. For the past five years, Colin Farrell has been helping a man without a job or a place to live, a professional beggar named Stress with money and clothes. And the telediva surprised everyone at one of her shows, where she gave each viewer a car, and one homeless girl - money for a decent education, as well as for clothes and a beauty salon. Probably, it is precisely such stories that make up the essence of such a phenomenon as the "American dream", when not a single desire is limited by the limits of fantasy.

"Rus' is not without good people!" Russian people can be safely attributed to the most sympathetic peoples of the world. And we have someone to look up to.

Okolnichiy Fyodor Rtishchev

Even during his lifetime, Fyodor Rtishchev, a close friend and adviser to Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich, received the nickname "gracious husband." Klyuchevsky wrote that Rtishchev fulfilled only part of the commandment of Christ - he loved his neighbor, but not himself. He was from that rare breed of people who put the interests of others above their own "I want." It was on the initiative of the “bright man” that the first shelters for the poor appeared not only in Moscow, but also abroad. For Rtishchev, it was common to pick up a drunk on the street and take him to a temporary shelter organized by him - an analogue of a modern sobering-up station. How many were saved from death and did not freeze in the street, one can only guess.

In 1671, Fyodor Mikhailovich sent grain carts to the starving Vologda, and then the money received from the sale of personal property. And when he found out about the need of the Arzamas residents for additional lands, he simply presented his own.

During the Russian-Polish war, he took out not only compatriots, but also Poles from the battlefield. He hired doctors, rented houses, bought food and clothing for the wounded and prisoners, again at his own expense. After the death of Rtishchev, his "Life" appeared - a unique case of demonstrating the holiness of a layman, and not a monk.

Empress Maria Feodorovna

The second wife of Paul I, Maria Fedorovna, was famous for her excellent health and tirelessness. Starting the morning with cold douches, prayers and strong coffee, the Empress devoted the rest of the day to taking care of her countless pupils. She knew how to convince moneybags to donate money for the construction of educational institutions for noble maidens in Moscow and St. Petersburg, Simbirsk and Kharkov. With her direct participation, the largest charitable organization was created - the Imperial Humanitarian Society, which existed until the beginning of the 20th century.

Having 9 children of her own, she especially anxiously took care of abandoned babies: the sick were nursed in foster homes, strong and healthy - in trustworthy peasant families.

This approach has significantly reduced child mortality. With all the scale of her activities, Maria Fedorovna paid attention to trifles that are not essential for life. So, in the Obukhov psychiatric hospital in St. Petersburg, each patient received his own kindergarten.

Her will contains the following lines: “Give life to Your Spirit with meekness, love and mercy. Be helpers and benefactors to the suffering and the poor.”

Prince Vladimir Odoevsky

A descendant of the Rurikids, Prince Vladimir Odoevsky was convinced that the thought he had sown would certainly "sprout tomorrow" or "in a thousand years." A close friend of Griboedov and Pushkin, the writer and philosopher Odoevsky was an active supporter of the abolition of serfdom, worked to the detriment of his own interests for the Decembrists and their families, tirelessly intervened in the fate of the most disadvantaged. He was ready to rush to the aid of anyone who applied, and in everyone he saw a “living string” that could be made to sound for the good of the cause.

The St. Petersburg Society for Visiting the Poor, organized by him, helped 15,000 needy families.

There was a women's workshop, a children's rooming house with a school, a hospital, hostels for the elderly and families, and a social store.

Despite his origins and connections, Odoevsky did not seek to occupy an important post, believing that in a "secondary position" he was able to bring "real benefit." The "strange scientist" tried to help young inventors realize their ideas. The main character traits of the prince, according to contemporaries, were humanity and virtue.

Prince Peter of Oldenburg

An innate sense of justice distinguished the grandson of Paul I from most of his colleagues. He not only served in the Preobrazhensky Regiment during the reign of Nicholas I, but also equipped the first school in the history of the country in which soldiers' children were trained at the place of service. Later, this successful experience was applied to other regiments.

In 1834, the prince witnessed the public punishment of a woman who was driven through the soldiers' formation, after which he petitioned for dismissal, stating that he would never be able to carry out such orders.

Petr Georgievich devoted his further life to charity. He was a trustee and an honorary member of many institutions and societies, including the Kyiv House of Charity for the Poor.

Sergey Skyrmunt

Retired lieutenant Sergei Skyrmunt is almost unknown to the general public. He did not hold high positions and failed to become famous for his good deeds, but he was able to build socialism in a single estate.

At the age of 30, when Sergei Apollonovich painfully pondered his future fate, 2.5 million rubles fell on him from a deceased distant relative.

The inheritance was not squandered or played at cards. One part of it became the basis for donations to the Society for the Promotion of Public Entertainment, the founder of which was Skyrmunt himself. With the rest of the money, the millionaire built a hospital and a school on the estate, and all his peasants were able to move to new huts.

Anna Adler

The whole life of this amazing woman was devoted to educational and pedagogical work. She was an active participant in various charitable societies, helped during the famine in the Samara and Ufa provinces, on her initiative the first public reading room was opened in the Sterlitamak district. But her main efforts were aimed at changing the situation of people with disabilities. For 45 years, she has done everything so that the blind have the opportunity to become full members of society.

She was able to find the means and strength to open the first specialized printing house in Russia, where in 1885 the first edition of the Collection of Articles for Children's Reading, published and dedicated to blind children by Anna Adler, was published.

In order to produce a book in Braille, she worked seven days a week until late at night, personally typing and proofreading page after page.

Later, Anna Aleksandrovna translated the musical system, and blind children were able to learn to play musical instruments. With her active assistance, a few years later the first group of blind students graduated from the St. Petersburg School for the Blind, and a year later from the Moscow School. Literacy and vocational training helped graduates find jobs, which changed the stereotype of their incapacity. Anna Adler almost did not live to see the opening of the First Congress of the All-Russian Society of the Blind.

Nikolai Pirogov

The whole life of the famous Russian surgeon is a series of brilliant discoveries, the practical use of which has saved more than one life. The men considered him a magician who, for his "miracles", attracts higher powers. He was the first in the world to use surgery in the field, and the decision to use anesthesia saved not only his patients from suffering, but also those who lay on the tables of his students later. By his own efforts, the splints were replaced with bandages soaked in starch.

He was the first to use the method of sorting the wounded into heavy and those who make it to the rear. This has reduced the death rate by several times. Before Pirogov, even a minor wound in the arm or leg could end in amputation.

He personally carried out operations and tirelessly controlled that the soldiers were provided with everything necessary: warm blankets, food, water.

According to legend, it was Pirogov who taught Russian academics to carry out plastic surgery, demonstrating the successful experience of engrafting a new nose on the face of his barber, whom he helped to get rid of deformity.

Being an excellent teacher, about whom all the students spoke with warmth and gratitude, he believed that the main task of education was to teach to be a man.

Good is known, good is remembered, good warms our hearts, but not everyone can do good deeds. It is impossible to say unequivocally who is the kindest person in the world. This article lists several famous people who, through their actions, helped those in need and did not ask for anything in return. They are the kindest people in the world, they should be looked up to and set as an example to children, and, quite possibly, in the future there will be more such people.

There is an expression “kind like mother Teresa”, and these words speak for themselves. This woman helped the poor and the sick, organized the monastic congregation "Missionary Sisters of Love", was awarded the Nobel Prize in the category "For active help to a suffering person", but she did not care about the awards.

On August 26, 1910, baby Agnes Gonje Bayadzhiu was born. Her parents attended the Catholic Church and helped the poor. Even after the death of her father in 1919, the girl's mother was not afraid and took six orphans into the family. It is not surprising that in such an atmosphere, where harmony and kindness reign, a beautiful girl grew up, who later became Mother Teresa. From childhood, the girl knew her calling. Already at the age of 12, she dreamed of becoming a monk, heard about poor children in India and wanted to help them.

Mother Teresa did everything out of love for people and tried to help everyone

At the age of 18, Agnes went to live in Ireland, where her dream of becoming a nun came true, the girl was accepted into their ranks by the Irish Sisters of Loreto, after 2 years she was tonsured as a nun under the name Teresa. The girl chose the name herself, inspired by the actions of a merciful Carmelite nun from Lisieux. In the direction of the order, the nun Teresa went to Calcutta. In the town there was a girls' school of St. Mary, and she began to teach children to read and write. In 1946, the nun received official permission to help all the needy, poor and destitute of Calcutta, and after 2 years she organized the “Missionary Sisters of Love” community. The monastic congregation launched an active activity, they were engaged in the creation of new shelters and hospitals for the seriously ill, as well as schools for the poor. In each such institution they gave help to all those in need, it did not matter here what nationality or religion the applicant was.

Since 1965, the monastic congregation has been helping not only in India, but also abroad. Today this huge organization is known all over the world. It has 400 chapters in 111 countries and more than 700 charity houses in 120 countries. The main mission of the congregation is to help those in need, especially in disadvantaged areas or victims of natural disasters. Mother Teresa was active in helping until the last days of her life. The nun died on September 5, 1997 in Calcutta.

At the time of her death, the nun was 87 years old, she left a huge mark on the history and hearts of many people.

Diana Francis Spencer from childhood possessed some kind of magic, she gave joy and warmth, protected the weak, but at the same time she was modest and shy. Diana graduated from a private school with an average score, she was always shy to answer in front of the class and was shy at the blackboard, but this did not stop her from finding a job. The girl got a job as an assistant teacher at the Young England kindergarten and soon met with Prince Charles of Wales. It was a fairy tale! Charles fell in love with a modest beauty with huge eyes and soon won her heart. After the wedding, Diana became a real princess, but happiness was short-lived. After the birth of sons William and Harry, Prince Charles began to cheat on his wife, and soon their marriage fell apart. It was during this period that Diana launched an active charity work.

Lady Di headed more than 90 charitable foundations, helped the abandoned and disadvantaged. Her attention has never bypassed children or old people who need her help. With just one appearance, she instilled hope in people.

Diana knew how to give warmth with just a smile

The Queen of Hearts, as Lady Di was dubbed, donated huge sums for the treatment of AIDS patients and the development of drugs against this terrible disease. Thanks to her activities, numerous hospitals and hospices were built. Cooperation with the International Federation of the Red Cross has saved the lives of many seemingly hopelessly ill people.

Princess Diana was friends with Mother Teresa. People called their first meeting "Meeting of the Angels". They teamed up and led several charity projects together.

Shortly before her death, Princess Diana arrived in Angola on a peacekeeping mission, what she saw there was horrified. Due to the civil war, the lands where ordinary people lived were stuffed with anti-personnel mines. Because of this, many children and the elderly were left crippled or even died. The hospitals of the country were full, there were no places, people were lying on bare floors.

Lady Dee walked through the minefield in protest, and then made a film about anti-personnel mines. She organized a campaign against their use. Diplomats and ministers of most countries of the world supported this idea. The international movement to end the use of anti-personnel landmines won the Nobel Prize in 1997, but, unfortunately, the queen of hearts, Diana, did not see this.

At the celebration in honor of the award, the audience honored the good Lady Dee with a minute of silence

Dobri Doborev, an old man, or, as the children call him, Dobri's grandfather, lives in Bulgaria. He lives 25 km from the city of Sofia and walks this distance every day to beg. The old man is dressed in not new, but clean homespun things, on his feet are homemade leather shoes. So what is so kind and good about this person, why did he get on the list of the kindest people?

Dobri Dobrev has for decades given everything he earns on the street to orphanages that cannot pay their bills, and he lives solely on his pension. This old man lost his hearing during the Great Patriotic War, but did not even think to spend the collected money on his treatment. This is probably why he is called the "Saint from Bailovo".

Even the name Dobri Dobrev speaks of the kindness of this man.

In our seemingly cruel world, there are still many kind people, it is impossible to list all of them. This article tells only about three who, by their actions, helped more than one needy. It is these people who give good, and there are many of them! It is possible that one of them lives nearby. One has only to look around, and maybe even become one of them. Give kindness to people, and it will definitely come back to you!

P remember the song of the old woman Shapoklyak from the cartoon about the crocodile Gena: "You can't become famous for good deeds." Unfortunately, in the modern world, negative events and deeds are more interesting than good deeds. But the people from our article do good simply because they have a pure heart and this makes their souls happier. Do good no matter what!

About the victory of good

This story began when Glen James, a homeless man from Boston, found a backpack with a large amount of cash on the street. We were very lucky, but the man did not lose his head and handed over the find to the police so that the money would be returned to the owner. The owner of the backpack was so shocked by what happened that he organized a campaign to raise money for this person. At the moment, they have collected twice the amount found. Glen James, who lost his home and job eight years ago, said he wouldn't take a dime of what he found even if he were desperate.

Kindness in Russian

kind-hearted grandmother

Kolmyk grandmother knitted 300 pairs of warm socks for flood victims. As you know, there are no small good deeds, and once again we find confirmation of this in the wonderful news from Magadan. Local resident pensioner Rufina Ivanovna Korobeynikova knitted and donated to flood victims in Khabarovsk three hundred pairs of warm socks.

For several years, an elderly woman knitted about two thousand woolen products, which were donated to the pupils of the orphanage and the home for the disabled. Since things knitted by a merciful grandmother were usually handed over to those in need at Christmas, over time a very warm tradition of “woolen gifts” developed in local shelters, and Rufina Ivanovna was already knitting new socks for the upcoming holiday, when the flood began in Khabarovsk.

Rufina Ivanovna, having heard in the news about the tragedy associated with the flood, decided that now her “woolen gifts” are more important for the victims, because many people were left not only without housing, but also without clothes.
