Matt OX

The youngest and most popular performer on our list. Matt OX woke up famous after his "Overwhelming" video hit YouTube trends. But this 11-year-old boy cannot be denied talent. New clips Matt OX « This N that" and " Michael Myers also quickly racked up millions of views on YouTube. Probably, before us is not a one-time success, but the birth of a new star.

Trippie Redd

The 18-year-old Ohio native started out posting his songs on SoundCloud in 2015. The first official track was "Angry Vibes". In May 2017, the mixtape "A Love Letter to You" appeared. . Today, the artist lives in Los Angeles and collaborates with the Strainge Entertainment label. Trippie Redd says his inspirations include Andre 3000, Drake, 2Pac, Tyler, The Creator, A$AP Rocky, Travis Scott, The Weeknd, Lil Wayne and T-Pain. An interesting mix of old and new school.

Tay-K

The rising star from Texas doesn't play hardcore gangster, but rather lives up to the image. No sooner had the 17-year-old guy really tasted the glory, as he had already become accused in a murder case. If the rapper is found guilty, he faces a long prison term or even the death penalty. Tay-K is charged with the murder of 21-year-old Ethan Walker in a house robbery in late July. He is also suspected of another murder and is accused of robbing and beating a 65-year-old man. Travis Scott has already openly supported the young rapper on Twitter.

TEKA$HI69 (6IX9INE)

TEKA$HI white benchmark, flesh of the flesh of Brooklyn. His rhetoric often breaks into a heavy metal scream, which clearly distinguishes him from the rest of the new wave. His entire body is covered in tattoos (Brooklyn's numerical code) and his videos often feature anime inserts and cool motorcycles. His most famous works are "ZETA ZERO 0.5 », Hellsing Station », « YOKAI » and a collaboration with Trippie Red, " POLES1469 ». But recently, Trippie Redd refused to work with TEKA$HI due to the latter's allegations of having affairs with a minor. But the manager of TEKA$HI writes off these accusations on the intrigues of competitors.

KILLY

KILLY prophesy the glory of the new Canadian superstar. Gangsters and star boys are no surprise today, and "emo rap" could be the next trend. The sound of KILLY is truly unique and stylish. The guy has only recently appeared on the radar, but he is already walking quite wide, speaking as an opening act for serious artists and participating in major rap festivals.

Brockhampton

Brockhampton is bringing back good old tube hip-hop to us before the gangsters came along. The musicians themselves call themselves a boy band and with all their creativity invite you to relax and dance. The group was first noticed on the KanyeToThe Internet forum, where they posted their first album "Saturation" in May of this year. The group is sensitive to the visuals in the videos, and, unlike other freshmen, they basically do not read to the trap.

Global Dan

A native of Baltimore became a prominent figure on the American Internet after the release of the first mixtape "Global Warming". The artist releases music in a matter of months, but the video " Off-White" has already gained one and a half million views on Youtube. Dan's signature style is to impose a melodic sound on a trap beat, but the guy can also do traditional rap, which he clearly demonstrated in the track « Going Hard » .

6 dogs

An 18-year-old nugget from the capital of modern rap, Atlanta. For 6 Dogs, the image of a sad guy with a lo-fi sound and a peculiar manner of reading was fixed, and his videos are closer to modern avant-garde art than to traditional rap. The artist quickly gained popularity thanks to Youtube channels デーモンAstari and ELEVATOR. Several of his songs have already broken the mark of a million views. He also has an impressive following on SoundCloud, around 50,000 people.

Lil Xan

The guy was born in California and for a long time was a member of the local Low Gang team. He has built a loyal teenage audience thanks to SoundCloud and YouTube. But in several interviews for American music publications, Xan proved that the image of a serene life-breaker has little to do with reality. In reality, he is quite a smart guy, and his work is fully understood by his parents.

Today, no one will argue that hip-hop (or rap) has firmly broken into the world of show business and occupies by no means the last positions in it. If earlier performers in this style were mainly associated with inadequate antics, scandals, shootouts and drugs, today rap is a lot of money.

Rap as a lifestyle

Rap culture was at the back of the world stage a few decades ago. It was a kind of underground trend, something new and progressive, understandable to a few. Despite its novelty, rap over time has become a musical phenomenon that dominates among young, strong, ambitious guys, and today even girls.

To be said about you that you are the best rapper in the world, you need to work hard. Such a title must be earned. This musical flow does not need gloss and recognition of music critics, the viewer and listener determines how sharp and relevant your style is. And it is impossible to deceive or bribe this most impartial judge.

History of rap culture

Surprisingly, one of the most popular subcultures of our time arose quite recently - in the late 60s of the last century. The birthplace is called the Bronx area in New York. It is generally accepted that rap, or rap, (both spellings are correct) has become a kind of offshoot of hip-hop. The latter, in turn, originated in Jamaica and was popular among the African-American population of the island.

In the United States, only the middle class had the opportunity to attend discos. As a rule, they were not available to black Americans. Then, in contrast to them, discos began to appear in the poor areas of New York, and the music that sounded on the dancefloor was determined by the DJ, not the visitors. On primitive equipment, the "musicians" played and arranged a certain melody, and with a rhyming syllable they tried to provoke the crowd. During that period, there were many newly-minted musicians who could claim the title of "The best rapper in the world." Here are some bright names of pioneering rappers: DJ Kool Gerk, Gradmaster Flash, The Sugarhill Gang.

Legendary rappers

In 1979, the composition “Rapper's Delight” sounded on radio stations, which is considered to be the official first-born of this style. From that moment on, record companies and eminent producers turned their attention to rappers and their beats.

We present to your attention a list of the legends of the rap movement:

  1. Despite the fact that he was cut short at 25, he still holds the title of "America's Best Rapper" - 2 Pak. Tupac Amaru Shakur sold more than 75 million albums worldwide during his lifetime, some of them were certified platinum several times. The performer rotated in criminal circles and was brought several times under the law for rape and hooliganism. He was killed in 1996 under unclear circumstances.
  2. Another rap legend is Biggie, also known as the King of the East Coast and The Notorious B.I.G. In March 1997 he was killed by unknown persons. The police did not find the culprit. And today there is a version that his murder is revenge for the death of Tupac, in which Notorius was considered guilty.
  3. Another megastar of American rap culture is Rakim. He is distinguished by the introduction of the author's style and the use of complex rhyming structures in his works.
  4. Queen Latifah is the first female commercial rapper.

American hip-hop culture today has finally emerged from the shadow of show business. Performers in this style are the favorites of the public and one of the richest musicians according to Forbes magazine.

  1. The title of "America's Best Rapper" today is proudly worn by the husband of the dark-skinned beauty Beyoncé JayZ. Millions in fees, crowds of fans and worldwide fame - the reality of this from the slums. Through his talent and real business acumen, Mr. Jay Z has amassed a fortune of half a billion dollars.
  2. The second place in the ranking went to the blond lover of banter and sharp words Eminem.
  3. Dr. Dre is a favorite of the American public and one of the luminaries of rap culture. He stood at the origins Helped many rap artists to break into people.
  4. 50 Cent has released a lot of amazing songs. All of his albums have been certified multi-platinum.

  8. Ice Cube is the most talented and one of the first performers in
  9. PDiddy (Sean Combs) is the most influential figure in hip-hop according to Forbes magazine.

When naming the best rappers in America, it is worth mentioning such outstanding performers as Lil Wayne, Timbaland, Ikon. Rap culture in the United States today has moved into a more peaceful direction, less and less rappers from this region are associated with gangsterism, violence and drugs.

The best rappers in Russia

In the USSR, the rap movement started a little later. In the late 80s, DJs tried to mix already well-known compositions on the capital's dance floors. Sergey Minaev in 1984 released a playful composition in which the text was pronounced in recitative.

Over time, hip-hop culture in Russia began to gain more momentum. Pioneers can be called Sergey Minaev, Bogdan Titomir, the group "Bachelor Party", Mister Maly, Lika.

In the mid-90s, rap culture reached the masses thanks to such performers as Basta, Mikhey, Casta.

Today, hip-hop culture has fenced off into a separate echelon of show business and has become more mass. And all thanks to the performer Timati. He and his production center have released several clips with famous US rappers, and today they are promoting young talented performers of this style.

According to the polls of listeners, the title "The best rapper" in our country was given to performer Vasily Vakulenko, aka Basta.

Russian rap - as a cultural phenomenon, emerged in the late nineties. A lot of bands and solo artists appeared at that time, but only a few managed to stay without losing their style and popularity. The best underground Russian rappers - that's what we want to tell you today.

Slaves Lamps

Having recorded only one album, the group entered the history of Russian rap forever and most likely will remain there for a long time. The founder of the group - Alexey Perminov, under the pseudonym Grundig, did not live long, but left behind vivid memories and many creative ideas. He wrote poetry from childhood, and every year, his texts became more and more rigid, reflecting the reality that surrounded him. This resulted in a passion for rap, and with their friend they recorded their debut album “It doesn’t hurt?”, Which became a classic of Russian rap and set standards for a long time, both readings and themes used in texts. Unfortunately, the group did not last long - Alexei's addiction to drugs became a disease and subsequently ruined him. After the death of the poet, a collection of his poems, My Decadence, was published. The book begins with an epigraph written by Alexei himself:
"Loud dirt. Filth in bulk.
My decadence is the Red Cross"

Largest Prime Number

SPBCh is a creative formation, which includes journalist Kirill Ivanov and a duet of electronic musicians: Ilya Baramia and Alexander Zaitsev - "Christmas Toys". Initially, the songs were a mixture of ambient and reading strange, painful, children's poems by Kirill. A characteristic feature is the absence of a beat and any drums, this role is played by the melody, and the recitative should have torn the “fabric” of the music. According to Ivanov himself, music should be detached and to hear it you need to strain as if it is playing somewhere far away... The name itself can be considered dynamic, because a prime number is a number that is divisible by one and itself, and there is no limit to such a number . However, mathematicians have formulated how to show this number visually "232582657−1". The lyrics of the song are original: images and intonations seem to be familiar from childhood, it is very remarkable that several generations have these associations at once. This is how the cradles of a new generation can sound, you just need to listen to the hypnotic rhythms and extraordinary lyrics.

Purulent

The real name of the performer is Vyacheslav Alekseevich Mashnov. In addition to Purulent, he has many more pseudonyms that he uses from time to time, depending on which direction the track goes: Slava KPSS, Valentin Dyadka, Sonya Marmeladova and many others. Today, he is considered the best battle rapper in Russia. His last battle with Oxxxymiron got a huge response, this verbal duel became the best in the history of Russian battles. Slava himself speaks of his work in this way: "a narrowly subcultural rap with a bunch of internal jokes." Anarchism and punk culture had a notable influence on him, echoes that can be heard in the current texts of Purulent. Also, according to him, he was influenced by such groups as Bruno's 4 Positions, Lenina Paket, and the leader of the Auction group, Leonid Fedorov. Purulent is the most productive rapper in Russia - in just a couple of years, he released a huge number of albums, surpassing the meters in this direction.

Caste

The group originated in Rostov-on-Don, back in 1997, when rap in Russia was just emerging as a cultural phenomenon. Today the composition of the team is as follows: Serpent, Vladi, Shym and Khamil. The first performances were on an amateur basis, took place in a friendly atmosphere, but after a couple of years they took up this craft seriously: wide trousers and exclamations of “Yo” were already perceived as a stamp, and something monolithic and more progressive had to be done. Without copying foreign artists, Casta developed her own style, showing that rap can be original and sincere. The first collection of songs - "Three-dimensional rhymes" they released in 1999, with their own money. Since then, success has followed the group: album after album, adding listeners to them, Casta occupied the first lines in the music charts, they are invited to television, they shoot clip after clip. Today it is the most famous group in Russia, which has a huge army of fans.

Tragedy of a lifetime

The tragedy of a lifetime is the creative union of Vetla Udalykh and Nikita Raskolnikov. The group was founded more than ten years ago, back in 2006, then Tonych Goglev and Vetl Udalykh were members. Later, Sasha Gorbaty joined the group, who arranged the compositions. The first disc of the group - "Unconscious", was released in 2009, more than half of the minuses for him were written by Gorbaty, the rest was written by Vetl. After the first album, Tonych leaves the formation and starts a solo career in a completely different direction. February 2010 was marked by the arrival of Nikita Raskolnikov to the group. The group not only writes songs, but also shoots high-quality clips - Lymph nodes, 2012; General Reason, 2013; Raskolnikov feat. Popek - Holy Father, 2014; Slim, Raskolnikov - Not about summer, 2014. The group is very productive, since 2009 13 albums have already been released, not counting the solo compositions of the performers. The group focuses in its texts on the promotion of sports and the fight against drugs.

Kunteynir

The Moscow team, formed in 2003, consisting of three people - Pasha Technik, Blev MS and Maxim Sinitsyn - is the only black who reads Russian rap. In 2008, Pasha Technik (real name - Ivlev), went to jail for selling LSD - doba, according to reports, he was handed over by a fan who overdosed on the brand. After leaving prison, Paul decided to return to his former glory, and multiply. The first moment when they started talking about him again was a performance against rapper Broll at Versus Battle in 2014. In 2016, Pasha opposed Nikolai Dolzhansky in a rap battle. On the covers, as well as in the texts, a symbiosis of avant-garde art and sports is used; the team speaks sarcastically about rap, hinting that self-irony is the initial idea of this direction. The members of the group can often be seen in the fan sector, they often attend football matches. They have a lot of feats: TVZh, Price of Laughter, Market relations were noted in the tracks with Kunteynir.

Lenin Pack

The composition of the team is Babangida, Vanya Ivan, Double V, Ivan Laughter. They are also occasionally joined by Guru Mihajlovic (Vail Skam) who works on the arrangements. In 2008, the debut EP was released - "Signs of the Unconscious" with the participation of the SpaceCave team - famous beatmakers. The civic position of the team is almost always reflected in the texts, they try to instill in the listener a craving for beauty and show them the true aesthetic expanses of the word. The rejection of consumerism, the stupidity and failure of capitalism, the obscenity of bourgeois and base values are the leitmotifs of the formation's creativity. Everyone will find something of their own in Lenin's Package: whether it's wise advice, or a kind word, or a joke that you can laugh with all your heart. The manner of performance is a rough, masculine recitative, which, like a hammer, breaks the limits of perception, in simple words the guys convey a lot. Lenina Packet worked with many underground musicians: RZhB, Corpse Troupe, Buchenwald Flava, Resistance Rows and many others.

Night movers

The Moscow duet, represented by Evgeny Alekhin and Mikhal Enotov (Stanislav Mikhailov), was formed in January 2007. The debut album was recorded in the same year, in February, under the title - "Dance and Think". 2008 - the second album is released - "2 times more pain, 2 times more love." 2009 - a new album - "Oh man". In 2010 comes out - "Critique of the Pure Heart", the last album in the group's discography to date. In 2011, the band went on an indefinite hiatus to focus on other musician projects. The group hits existential texts right in the face, making the listener a shell for their thoughts, which, after several listenings, begins to think independently.

Corpse Troupe

The Troupe Troupe is a Samara group consisting of two people: Dmitry Zaduzhny (Drim) and Probel. The texts are replete with criticism of political foundations, the inaction of the people and direct instructions for action. The site Last Fm assigned the group several genres at once: abstract hip-hop, underground hip-hop, russian hip-hop, underground rap. They have many feats with other underground bands: Lenina package, SpaceCave, Alcohol after sports, KUNTEYNIR and many others. The team has many more names: Republic of Coma, Three Microbes, July 77, Renaissance, Autonomous movement of the inanimate, Epoha Woz; also each of the performers is engaged in a solo career. Very little is known about the musicians, there is almost no information and photos on the net, but you can find many songs written by the Corpse Troupe. The beats are made by Drim, just like the beatmaker, he has his own project - aboohashim. In the early period of creativity, the influence of the very first underground group in Russia, Slaves of the Lamp, is clearly audible.

Mutant Yhvlam

Mutant Ykhvlam is a team from Magnitogorsk, consisting of four people: Mikhail Shorokh, Alexei Rezanov, "Brother Two" and Yang Li. Freddy sometimes appears in the tracks - the distorted voice of Rustle. The style is defined as abstract hip hop, the lyrics contain references to various artists, films and generally accepted cultural phenomena. The discography is quite impressive: 2008 - Narkoza'Ostra; 2009 - Patent Tkhlen; 2010 - Blastyr; 2011 - Leizwiecht '93; 2012 - Apocalypops; 2013 - Baseball; 2014 - Buhovnost. The guys, for the entire existence of the group, gave only a few concerts, also for fans from all over the CIS, they held an online concert - “Broadcasting from hard-to-reach places”. Filmed video invitations for concerts are original, they can easily be assigned the arthouse category. Known for their feats, with such performers as: Pikul, The Tragedy of a Lifetime, Sound Theater, Litvin. Brother Two also paints, his paintings can be found on various resources. The group itself claims, “Mutants don't sell CDs. Mutants don't exist at all. It is a myth".

2018 is coming to an end and it's time to sum it up. In one of the previous publications, we examined who, in our opinion,. In the same article, we will analyze the success of foreign rap artists and identify the top 10 among them. We warn you right away that the author's opinion may differ from your personal one, but for this we have comments in which everyone can write their top 10.

As for the criteria for measuring success, they will mainly relate to the quality of music itself. Of course, we will not bypass the number of sales and listening of albums and singles (after all, in our time this is also an extremely important indicator), but we will put the musical component at the head.

Top 10 foreign rappers 2018

10. Jay Rock

The oldest and very first of the TDE signatories this year definitely jumped above his head. Jay has released good albums before, but he hasn't been able to really get out of the shadow of Kendrick Lamar and Schoolboy Q. The release of "Redemption" was the best work of the Los Angeles rapper to date. The excellent singles “Win”, “King`s Dead” (both Grammy nominated) and “OSOM” stick firmly in the memory and are accompanied by a very cool video sequence. After the release of the record, Jay Rock actively toured and promoted. Jay's success is directly related to the wise policy of the major Interscope and his native label Top Dawg Entertainment, which provided the rapper with a “window” between the releases of other top musicians, allowing him to collect maximum attention to his person. It should be noted that the artist recently announced that he is working on new material and is not going to stop there. Look forward to.

9.6lack

The young talent from Atlanta can rightfully take 2018 as an asset. 6lack (pronounced “black”) released an album called “East Atlanta Love Letter” in September and successfully passed the so-called “second album” test. The guy not only raps, but also sings well and writes beats himself. His hits "OTW", "Switch" and "Nonchalant" propelled the artist from the budding ranks to the elite of American urban music. This is confirmed by joint tracks with Ty Dolla Sign, J. Cole and Future. Also, 2018 became very important in terms of the rapper's personal life - his first daughter was born, who somehow flaunts on the album cover along with the newly-made father. We have no doubt that great achievements await this artist in the future.

8 Joyner Lucas

Another representative of the younger generation, who is already demonstrating all the makings in order to move the titans of rap from their homes. Joyner shot with the song "I`m Not A Racist", which in the era of Trump and the active development of social controversy on the subject of racism, has become very relevant. In addition, the Massachusetts native attracted attention with his excellent reading technique and witty texts. But the real breakthrough for him was participation in the Eminem album “Kamikaze”. The song "Lucky You" is one of the best in the playlist, and Lucas himself gives out lines no worse than Marshall, which, you see, happens extremely rarely. Now the rapper is signed to Atlantic Records, actively performing and preparing several projects at once: one solo, the other with R&B singer Chris Brown. It should also be noted that Joyner Lucas recently had a beef with Canadian Tory Lanez. The artists managed to record several freestyles directed against each other. According to most critics and journalists, the American won. To all the successes of Lucas, it is worth adding that “I`m Not A Racist” and “Lucky You” were nominated for Grammy 2019.

7. Drake

Drizzy had a notable rollercoaster ride this year in terms of career successes/failures, but in the end still managed to bring 2018 to his credit. First, let's talk about failures. Pusha T smashed Drake to smithereens with his diss “The Story Of Adidon”, in which he revealed to the world what the Canadian hitmaker had been hiding for several years: Drake has an illegitimate son from a former porn actress, with whom he practically does not maintain any relationship. This news thundered instantly and the whole world learned about Drizzy, not the most pleasant truth. Since there was nowhere to go, Drake went for broke and admitted defeat. But later he took advantage of it. The album "Scorpion", on which the rapper speaks openly about an illegitimate child, started at number one on the Billboard Top R&B & Hip-Hop Albums and other charts around the world. "Scorpion" was certified platinum, and the songs "Nice For What", "In My Feelings" and "God`s Plan" settled in music lovers' playlists for a long time. One gets the impression that no matter how things go for Drake, it is almost impossible to move him from the annual top.

6. Royce Da 5'9

The second half of the year passed quite calmly for the Detroit MC Royce Da 5`9, and apart from the guest participation on the Eminem album, nothing was remembered. But what was the first one! First in March, Royce and DJ Premier released the long-awaited sequel to PRhyme, which received rave reviews from critics and listeners alike. The release easily enters the top of the best records of 2018. Well, that was just the beginning. In May, Ryan Montgomery (the rapper's real name) hit the ground running with Book Of Ryan, a highly personal album that many consider to be the best in the rapper's long discography. Royce is an example of an adult and skilled musician who found his way after many years of searching. Listening to him, one gets the impression that every year he only gets better. We are waiting for new songs and hope that Eminem's colleague is not going to lower the bar below the set level.

5.XXXTentacion

XXXTentacion's life ended tragically on June 18, 2018. A young rapper at the peak of his fame was shot dead in his own car. Naturally, after this event, attention to the person of Ax increased tremendously and he was proclaimed a “martyr”, “new Tupac”, etc. Be that as it may, one must agree that among the representatives of the “new school” the music of this guy stood apart. In March 2018, the second album of the artist “?” was released, which received public recognition. Single "SAD!" and has become one of the most popular songs on streaming services. Do not say that and “?” and "SAD!" after the death, they began to rapidly rise in various charts and overtake the competitors of the already deceased rapper. In 2018, Ax also had a fall: they were mainly related to legal proceedings regarding domestic violence against his ex-girlfriend. Since his appearance on the world stage, XXXTentacion's personality has always been controversial and every rap fan has his own impression of the artist, but there is no denying the fact that the influence of his music on the younger generation has been enormous. May he stay with us for a short time.

4 Travis Scott

Travis Scott today combines in his work all the components of a modern mainstream rap artist necessary for success: a melodic sing-song manner of reading, bass humming instrumentals, a playboy image, connections with the most popular players in rap and, in addition, cooperation with world-famous fashion houses . A sort of Kanye West and Asap Rocky rolled into one. Travis' talent is that he can write hits. His album "Astroworld" though not a big innovation, but consists of hit songs, any of which could pass for a single. The most popular was "Sicko Mode" with Drake. She, like the entire album, is nominated for a Grammy 2019 and is likely to receive her award. Also, we must not forget that in 2018 “Astroworld” became one of the best-selling albums of the year, having received platinum from the RIAA. Watching the growing popularity of Travis, one gets the impression that even greater success awaits him ahead - primarily in commercial terms.

3. J. Cole

In 2018, J. Cole scored several big victories in the professional field. The most important was the conceptual work on drug addiction and the problems associated with it. Cole, as always, shook up the world of hip-hop, forcing us to look at the state of affairs in the industry and society from a different angle. In addition, the head of Dreamville is one of the few contemporary artists (Kendrick Lamar comes to mind) who manages to make conscious music and still sell it well. “KOD” set 24-hour streaming records on Apple Music and Spotify, debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200, and made Cole the first artist in history to have 3 singles top 10 on the Billboard Hot at the same time. 100. The record went platinum.

In addition to “KOD”, in 2018 Cole can rightfully be called the “king of collabs”. Almost any song that Jay appeared on automatically became a single. Just look at our list: “OSOM” with Jay Rock and “Boblo Boat” with Royce Da 5`9 are some of the best songs on the albums. In addition, Jermaine has cool collaborations with wards Cozz, Bas and J.I.D., as well as with 6lack and Wale. And this is after he announced that he would no longer work with other artists. In general, in a year when J.Cole is actively working on new music, his competitors have a hard time.

2. Pusha T

One of the biggest names in overseas hip-hop in 2018 was Pusha T. The current head of G.O.O.D Music joined forces with his former boss Kanye West to release the 7-track album DAYTONA, called by some the “masterpiece” and “album of the year.” Like it or not, it's up to you personally, but the release really deserves attention. By and large, “DAYTONA” is one of the few bright spots in the impenetrable darkness that enveloped Kanye’s persona in 2018. Here he did his best. Pusha himself was also at his best, delivering his best songs since The Clipse.

A separate item is the beef with Drake, which we have already mentioned. The push was stronger and almost everyone admits it. More recently, the prolific rapper has been scouting for new talent with 1800 Seconds. It looks like the Virginia Beach artist has found his way into today's showbiz world and continues to make strides towards new heights.

1. Eminem

We give the palm for the title of the best rapper of 2018 to Eminem. After his underwhelming last year's album "Revival", Em, like a phoenix rising from the ashes, managed to reclaim his reputation with "Kamikaze". With this release, he declared war on the entire industry: young rappers, journalists, social networks, his old enemies and listeners who criticized him earlier. And, you know, the cocky veteran beat them all. He stunned the critics with his witty arguments, defeated Machine Gun Kelly in the beef without noticing the latter's disses, put Joe Budden in his place, who allowed himself unflattering remarks about the maestro. Em was even nominated for a Grammy, which, by the way, he criticized. Of the recent achievements of Marshall, one cannot fail to note another freestyle, which will be quite difficult to surpass, because it lasts more than 11 minutes. All in all, Eminem has proven once again that he is one of the greatest MCs in the history of hip-hop and is ready to fight for this title with anyone.

Everyone knows what rap is today, and if someone thinks that this is an ordinary recitative, then they are mistaken. Rap is the same art as painting or playing the flute, but not everyone can comprehend it. This requires an impeccable ear, the right emotions and talent. In this kind of music there is not only musicality, but also speed, therefore the fastest rappers in the world so appreciated.

One of these guys was a practically unknown performer, but even the fact that he got into the top ten in this art makes him very popular, because every country is interested in rap. It is only known that his record is 344 words per minute. He manages to do all this in the track “Yeah Yeah”, which is loved by many.

TechN9ne

Young was slightly ahead of Young by the American rapper from Kansas Aaron Dontez Yates, but, as is customary in the rap industry, he took on a pseudonym TechN9ne and appears only under it. At the beginning of his career, he performed in the Black Mafia, but soon moved to the 57th Street Rogue Dog Villians, it was there that he achieved success. Aaron moved from team to team for a long time until he found harmony in his solo performances. In 2015, the albums Special Effects and Strangeulation, Vol.II were released.
