Quick drawings for kids. Drawing lessons for children

If you look closely, children differ from adults not only in their size. The proportions of the body and face in children are not at all the same as in adults.

That is why, before drawing children, one must carefully monitor the ratio of all proportions. After all, an adult of small size depicted on paper or canvas is not yet a child.

Differences in the size of the head of a child and an adult

The main difference is the size of the head. In young children, the frontal part in relation to the face is much larger. The skull of a small child is not yet fully formed, so the face is still small.

Features of the proportions of a child's face

The chin in children is also not yet fully developed. When drawing a baby's face in profile, this fact must be taken into account. The chin should not protrude to the level of the upper lip. At the same time, children often have what adults call a second chin.

In the following picture, you can clearly see the differences in the proportions of the face of a child and an adult:

Eyebrows are located quite close to the nose due to the fact that the face itself occupies a small area. And only the iris of the eyes already has a full size, thanks to which the eyes of children seem so large.

Features of the image of the child's body

The body itself in relation to the head seems disproportionately small compared to the body of an adult. In fact, the difference in the ratio is not so great, but it must be taken into account. We also note that the children have not yet stretched out a long “swan” neck, which again makes the head seem much larger.

Before you start drawing, try to study the "nature". Examine the child, find more successful photographs and drawings. And go!

Draw a child's portrait in profile

Let's try to draw a child together. To work, we need a simple pencil, an eraser, a sheet of paper and a little patience. As a result, we should get a pencil portrait of the baby in profile.

Let's consider each step step by step:

  1. First, let's highlight the most important. On a piece of paper, draw ... a square. This will be the baby's head. We need a square to mark the proportions of the face. Divide it with thin lines into 4 equal parts.
  2. Inscribe a circle in the lower left square. Maybe it won’t turn out even right away, but it wasn’t the gods who burned the pots. This is where the baby's face will be.

  1. Inscribe another circle in the large square. Here are the proportions for you: a large circle is the entire head of the child, a small one is his face.

  1. In the middle of the left side of the small circle draw the contours of the face in profile - a small snub nose, lips and chin.
  2. Now with a smooth line, draw a line from the bridge of the nose to the forehead. Circle the outline of the head.
  3. In the lower right square draw an ear. Bring out the back of the head, passing into the neck.

  1. The eye will be located at the level of the bridge of the nose. Do not forget, the eyes of the kids are quite large, but still not saucers. The pupil is usually drawn wide, although this almost never happens in ordinary life. But a small dot instead of an eye does not look very nice in the picture.
  2. Draw eyebrows just above the top line of the left square.
  3. Draw the details of the ear, eyes and lips.

  1. Now - an unexpected trick. Erase your sketch with an eraser so that the pencil marks are barely visible. Now you have hidden the traces of your marking squares.
  2. Take a pencil and start over. Outline the contours of the head, details of the face and finish the hair. Here, the portrait is almost ready.

  1. It remains to add some shadows and retouching. Make light shading on the face, leaving lighter part of the cheek, forehead and near the eyebrows.

  1. With a softer pencil, you need to shade the eyes, nose and mouth. The pupil is the darkest part of the eye, the iris has a transition from dark to lighter tone. Don't forget to leave a small glare on the iris - as if from reflected light.

  1. Shade those parts of the face that are not exposed to light. Don't forget the pieces inside the little ears.

  1. We draw hairs on the crown and the back of the baby's head, pay special attention to tones and individual hairs.

The drawing is ready! Want to try some more?

We carry out a portrait of a child in full face

Let's draw another portrait, only now the child will look directly at you. You already know everything about the intricacies of proportions. We only add that if the child's face is located frontally, then the eyes, nose and mouth will be located in the lower half of the circle depicting the head.

  1. Draw an oval that expands slightly at the top.
  2. In the middle of the oval, draw a horizontal line - it will indicate the level of the eyes.
  3. Just above the eyes, outline the line of the eyebrows.
  4. Approximately in the middle of the lower part of the oval, mark the place where you will draw the nose and lips. As you can see, the proportions are preserved - the baby's face should be much smaller than his entire skull. The markup is ready.

  1. Draw eyebrows with arches. A small oval - in place of the spout, mark the location of the ear with a circle - just below eye level.

  1. Now draw the details of the face more clearly. Don't forget to sketch out the hair lines.

  1. Erase the extra lines and start highlighting the contours of the face, hair and head.

  1. We make out the child's face in detail, not forgetting about the shadows - we perform them using shading with a pencil and shading individual elements.

We depict a small child in full growth

The lying baby looks very cute. Let's try to make such a drawing.

In a small child, the ratio of head to body size is much smaller than that of an adult. Let's not forget about it. In addition, it will be necessary to take into account the cute infantile swelling.

  1. First of all, draw a circle. On it, as in the previous master classes, we outline the part on which, in fact, the baby's face will be located.

  1. Since we are drawing a lying baby, mark the eyes, nose and mouth on the left side of the circle. Don't forget proportions.
  2. Draw the contours of the head around the future face and outline the lower part of the surface on which the child lies. Let it be, for example, children's scales.
  3. Then you already know how - eyes, nose and mouth. Yes, still a small ear.

  1. Now we are trying to draw the body step by step. First, outline them with simple lines - how the arms, legs and body are located. Since the baby is very small, his neck is not visible at all.

  1. After that, draw the breast and arms. More roundness, you can draw a fold on the wrist.

  1. Next is the turn of cute chubby legs.

  1. Now draw the outlines of the baby scales.

  1. The resulting drawing can be shaded, shaded and colored.

It's not that difficult, is it?

Drawing objects familiar to us helps not only to easily perceive the form, but also to transfer it on a sheet of paper or a computer screen. For a novice artist, objects with simple and rounded shapes are suitable for learning. Only after a person has "filled" his hand on them, you can move on to more complex figures. Today's lesson will help us sum up in drawing simple objects. We'll find out how to draw fruits. The complexity of the lesson lies in the difference between their types and, accordingly, in size and color. But do not be afraid, because a detailed step-by-step description of the lesson will simplify this task even for a novice artist.

Having studied the basics of construction and color reproduction in a drawing, we can move on to more complex work. Its feature will be the study of small details. In this step-by-step tutorial for beginners, we draw a still life, consisting of dishes, flowers, as well as fruits and berries. The vase will contain flowers - daisies. Their petals are quite small, so this part of the still life can be considered one of the most difficult. But the task will be simplified by a detailed and visual explanation for each stage of the drawing. So today we'll find out how to draw difficult still life on a graphics tablet in Adobe Photoshop for beginners.

One of the first pictures that children begin to draw in art classes is simple still lifes. And this is not surprising, because many geometric shapes and color spots are hidden in ordinary objects. To a simple person, these nuances are not too noticeable, but the artist will be able to see in an ordinary object not only the general form, but also its internal construction, just by looking at the object. The practice of drawing still lifes develops the ability to hold a pencil correctly and make straight lines, as well as easily convey the volume of objects. Let's use this practice in learning to draw on a graphics tablet.

Flowers are not only a wonderful gift, but also a great interior decoration. And for us, flowers will serve as a harmonious addition to the composition of a still life. In the previous lessons, we learned about building and applying color to objects, but now we can complicate the task. We will add a plant element to the composition of the picture - lily flowers. These are quite large flowers, which means that the level of complexity here is not great, so the step-by-step lesson " how to draw a vase of flowers"Wonderful for kids.

An apple is one of the most delicious and healthy types of fruit. They are consumed both raw and prepared from them in various dishes and freshly squeezed juices. Today we will consider this fruit from an artistic point of view, namely, as an object for drawing a still life. Apples are round or oval in shape and bright in color. Any beginner, and even an experienced artist, should know how to draw an apple. This is a great way to practice drawing rounded shapes, as well as learn color reproduction and smooth color transitions.

With the approach of the New Year holidays comes a pleasant feeling of joy in every person, regardless of age. By the new year, gifts and miracles are waiting not only for kids, but also for adults. And of course, you can not ignore the main character of this holiday - Santa Claus. He is wearing a long red coat with white stripes. He has a long white beard and a warm hat (matching the fur coat). In one hand he carries a large bag of gifts, and in the other, a magic staff. Whether we believe in Santa Claus or not, he has long been one of the most important symbols of the new year. Let's find out how to draw Santa Claus on a graphics tablet.

The fabulous girl who constantly accompanies Santa Claus and helps him is the Snow Maiden. Her feminine image brings its own flavor to the New Year holidays. The Snow Maiden can be found in fairy tales and at children's matinees. Although, she is considered the granddaughter of Santa Claus, but this heroine appears before us both in the form of a little girl, and sometimes an adult girl. The story goes that she was born from the snow, because she was originally called "Snowflake". A kokoshnik is put on her head, and she is dressed in a long skirt, a short fur coat and boots with heels. In this lesson, we will learn how to draw a snow maiden as an adult girl.

What is the name of the green beauty that appears in every house on New Year's Eve. It is decorated with toys and garlands, and under the chimes, gifts are found under it. Did you know what it's about? The symbol of the new year is the tree. Its long sharp needles do not interfere with festive round dances. Christmas trees are not only live, but also artificial. Their height varies from a few centimeters to several meters. And we will know how to draw a tree in its original form - without bright decorations. Even such a “not elegant” look evokes a joyful mood.

No holiday is complete without the most important thing - gifts. What can we say about the New Year? This is one of the biggest holidays, when everyone is busy looking for gifts for relatives and friends. Whatever the chosen gift, it must be beautifully packaged. Packages come in various types, sizes and colors, but today we will talk about the usual box with a beautiful bow. We'll find out how to draw a gift for the new year and to make the composition look more attractive, we will decorate it with a sprig of spruce and two balls.

Not every person can boast of having seen a fox near him. This is a predatory beast, so it is unlikely to get close to it. The fox has a very fluffy coat that has orange hues. The fox looks like a wolf or a dog, but there are a few distinguishing features. The main ones are pointed eye slits and a narrow muzzle. In this step-by-step lesson, you will learn how to draw a fox on a graphics tablet, but you can also use a simple pencil and paper. The sequence of all steps will remain unchanged.

There are artists whose animals and birds are the main characters in their drawings and paintings. They are called animalists. The word "animalist" comes from the Latin word "animal", which means "animal". But drawing animals is not so easy. Because animals can't pose. The animalist has to diligently observe and study their habits and character. The artist begins his work with sketches, sketches and sketches from life of living animals, birds, fish, and long-term work is usually carried out from stuffed animals or from photographs.
Artists - animal painters try not only to achieve external resemblance, but also reflect in the drawings the character inherent in the depicted animal or bird, they try to convey the individuality of the animal.

One of these artists, People's Artist of Russia Viktor Chizhikov, is the author of the Olympic bear cub Mishka, the mascot of the XXII Summer Olympic Games, which were held in Moscow in 1980.

He designed the books of Marshak and Barto, Chukovsky and Volkov, Mikhalkov and Nosov. For half a century, his illustrations appeared in the magazines "Funny Pictures", "Murzilka". More than one generation of readers has grown up on his drawings, full of sunlight, humor and joy. One of the artist's favorite themes is the image of cats.
Wonderful illustrations were drawn by Viktor Chizhikov for Andrey Usachev's book Planet of Cats. The artist gave his characters - animals features that are characteristic of people.

There is a cat planet somewhere.
There cats, how people live:
Reading newspapers in bed
And they drink coffee with cream.
They have apartments and cottages,
Cars and other comforts.
They love to fish
And they take the children to the resort.
They fly to overseas countries.
Find diamonds with a fist.
Planting tulips in the flower beds
They even breed dogs.
Luxurious life on the planet
Cats, cats and kittens!
But these strange inhabitants
Always sad about something...
How many good toys!
How many records and books! ..
Here there are no only cats at cats.
Oh, how sad we are without them.
(Andrey Usachev)

And we have no time to be bored, we begin to draw a fluffy kitten.

Practical work.

We apply a stencil of a cat figure in the middle of the album sheet.

We dip a dry sponge in yellow paint and fill the silhouette with color with printing movements. We start with the head, then the body, then the tail.

It turned out a spot - the figure of a kitten.

In orange, with a small broom, draw small strokes along the contour of the figure in the direction of growth of the kitten's fur.

  2. Fine motor skills develop. The child coordinates his movements with vision.
  3. Independence, organization develops, as well as a desire to improve their works of art.
  4. Talent develops. Perhaps talent cannot be learned. But it can be grown!
  5. Step-by-step drawing lessons for children will teach you how to properly decompose a creative goal.

This section is constantly updated with new drawing lessons for children from 2 to 7 years old. The purpose of our portal is to cover all the topics of drawing in stages, so that each lesson brings you a lot of benefits and a good mood.

To draw a child, of course, you need to know some features, and the first thing is that the features and proportions in the size of a child are very different from an adult, while growing up, the proportions of a child change very much and when you start drawing, be sure to read about the features first and only then go to the section How to draw a child step by step or Draw a child in a sitting position with a pencil.

Features of drawing young children

If you look closely, children differ from adults not only in their size. The proportions of the body and face in children are not at all the same as in adults.

The main difference is the size of the head. In young children, the frontal part in relation to the face is much larger. The skull of a small child is not yet fully formed, so the face is still small.

The chin in children is also not yet fully developed. When drawing a baby's face in profile, this fact must be taken into account. The chin should not protrude to the level of the upper lip. At the same time, children often have what adults call a second chin.
If you look at the picture below, you will see how the head changes in the process of growing up. You will notice that the child's eyebrows are quite close to the nose due to the fact that the face itself occupies a small area. And only the iris of the eyes already has a full size, thanks to which the eyes of children seem so large.

The body itself in relation to the head seems disproportionately small compared to the body of an adult. In fact, the difference in the ratio is not so great, but it must be taken into account. We also note that the children have not yet stretched out a long “swan” neck, which again makes the head seem much larger.

How to draw a child step by step

The child's face has some features: he has a wide forehead, due to which the eyes, nose and lips are shifted to the lower part, large cheeks, and indeed all facial features are large. On the median horizontal line (without a chin) are the eyebrows. The nose is wide, but low.
To draw the head, use the following step-by-step sketch:

1. Draw an oval and draw a horizontal and vertical line through the center.
2. Then, below the horizontal line, we divide the space into gaps with three more horizontal lines - this will indicate where the eyes, nose, lips will be located.
3. Draw.

According to this scheme, you can draw a head from different angles, examples are shown in the picture:

Draw a child in a sitting position with a pencil

The first thing you need to do is draw the contours of the body, head, arms and legs of the baby. We advise you to pay attention to the illustration in order to understand exactly how to position the head, because this is one of the most important parts of the child's body. We will draw him in a sitting position with the handles on the floor. The example clearly shows the pose, so try to draw the same drawing on your sheet. Make light jerky movements with a pencil without pressing on it. Draw a vertical line in the center of the oval (head) to indicate the middle of the face.

Draw the details of the head, make it oval with small cheeks and a small chin. Draw a horizontal strip approximately slightly below the center and mark the eyes, a mark for the nose, and even lower - the mouth on it. Draw the nasolabial folds as shown in the picture. Next, you need to make a smooth transition to the shoulders and handles. Curved lines can show the folds that are present on the baby's body. Don't touch the rest of the parts.

On the head you should draw small ears. They are located at eye level. Now move on to the limbs. First, draw in smooth lines miniature fingers and toes. Erase all unnecessary details with an eraser to see if you drew everything correctly. Make barely noticeable lines on the baby's chest - the example shows where they are. Our toddler is sitting in panties, so draw two curved stripes in the desired area.

4. Finishing the drawing

This is the last stage in the process of the appearance of a child on paper. It is necessary in order to complete the drawing and add several important details to it. First, draw the eyes - paint them in a dark color and correct the outlines. At the top with a light intermittent strip, make eyebrows slightly raised up. A snub nose, like all babies, will look great on a child's face. Her mouth broke into a sincere smile. On the forehead, draw a few curls of hair - a kind of forelock. Erase the extra contour lines, add a shadow on the legs - the drawing is ready!
