Clothing and accessories from the brand Trussardi (Trussardi). Trussardi - the brand's most famous lines of collections

26.09.2019

Today, the Italian Fashion House called Trussardi is known all over the world, and it is not surprising, because its history goes back to the beginning of the last century. It used to be a small workshop that makes gloves, but over time it has grown into a famous brand. Perfume, bags, shoes and much more - all things of this brand are distinguished by dynamism, style and naturalness. Original Trussardi perfumes at competitive prices are always available for purchase in the Alfa-Perfume online store, official website www.alfa-parfume.ru.

The brand was first talked about back in 1910, when a man named Dante Trussardi decided to open his own shop in the Italian province of Bergamo, 50 kilometers from Milan, where he made and repaired gloves. Even then, customers noted the high-quality processing of leather products. For exactly 60 years, Dante led his successful company until he died. And then, in the 70th year of the last century, his nephew named Nikola continued the work of his uncle.

The brand was in good hands, because by that time the new owner had already received a degree in economics from one of the universities. Ambitious and energetic, Nikola focused on increasing production and improving the quality of products. To this end, the economist engaged in a thorough study of the best methods of leather processing, he wanted to be aware of all modern technologies in this area.

After 3 years, a branded label and badge appeared on Trussardi products - a greyhound dog in a striped tie. This logo marked a new quality, respectability and elegance in the fashion world. Very soon, in addition to the production of gloves, the brand began to produce bags and other leather products. It is worth noting that Nikola has patented some models of multifunctional bags and backpacks, in which, in addition to cosmetics, wallets and other small things, you can put laptops, books, and so on.

A distinctive feature of the company is that it carefully selects materials for its products, uses only the most luxurious fabrics and pays attention to the smallest details in production. Soon Trussardi's products were replenished with belts, umbrellas and shoes.

The nephew of the founder of the company quickly reached new heights, and already in 1976, the inhabitants of Milan were able to personally visit the first company boutique in the history of the company.

Many note that Nikola was an active person with an abundance of interests. On his initiative, a concert hall called Palatrussardi was built near Milan. The local audience has seen such stars as Liza Minnelli, Frank Sinatra and many other outstanding personalities on the stage of this hall.

Trussardi, the owner of the brand, liked to make products for different people, based on their lifestyle. So, in the 83rd year, under the world famous brand, they began to produce clothes for the stars of opera performances, performing at Duomo Square and La Scala theaters. Trussardi himself was not opposed to taking part in various skits and personally coming up with projects for theaters, he was good friends with famous directors, and even got the role of Robert Altman called "High Fashion". It is noteworthy that in the film the character he played was dedicated to him. Trussardi began to actively engage in the development of furniture design, projects for bicycles, telephones and cars, and the interior of an aircraft cabin.

Nikola's activity was duly appreciated by the Italian authorities, and in 1987 the head of state presented the honorary Order of the Grand Cross. And a year later, the participants of the Seoul Olympics came out in sportswear under the Trussardi brand.

The Italian's talent was limitless, and in 1980 he released classic fragrances, and then the brand's youth perfumes: the Action Sport, Action Uomo and simply Action lines. The latter line received the Fragrance Foundation Award in 1991. But the successes of the Italian in the field of perfumery did not end there, and after 2 years Donna Trussardi perfumes were released for business women. And this is not the whole collection of fragrances created by the company.

Inheritance

At the age of 56, the talented Nicola crashed to his death while returning home in a brand new sports car. This news shocked fans of the fashion designer around the world. Fortunately, while still alive, he appointed his wife Maria to the position of creative director of the company, and his children became managers, who did not let their father down, not only keeping Trussardi afloat, but also continuing to develop it.

The brand has a new, unique style, and the company has earned decent money. However, in 2003, Francesca had the same fate as his father - he died in a car accident. Left alone, his sister Beatrice organized a show of the collection she had created with her brother, and held it with great success.

Today, the Trussardi brand is a symbol of excellence and love for art, which can turn a small workshop into a worldwide trade network.

Trussardi

Trussardi - brand history

If we try to express the style of the Trussardi house in a few words, then the main concepts here will be dynamism, simplicity and naturalness.

The Trussardi Fashion House has almost a century of history. The Italian town of Bergamo, which is 50 km from Milan, is mainly known for the film about the rogue Truffaldino. It was there that in 1910 a man with the famous name of Dante and the unknown name of Trussardi opened a workshop for the repair and manufacture of gloves, which, thanks to high-quality leather processing, soon became a success all over the world.

Nicola Trussardi, Dante's nephew, having graduated from the University with a degree in economics, took over the main position in the company after the death of his father and uncle in 1970. The company passed to him when he was already an experienced entrepreneur. Nikola decided to diversify the company's production in order to keep up with the consumer market. Nicola becomes the owner of his own tannery. Exploring the latest in leather work.

In 1973, a new series of products with its own name and trademark is released. The greyhound becomes a symbol of a new quality. He starts producing bags, suitcases and small leather goods topped with this logo. It was he who created multifunctional bags and backpacks, in which, in addition to personal items, a computer, telephone, floppy disks and documents are placed. Bold experiments in leather dressing and functional design brought great success to the first collection, which led to the expansion of the product range. Umbrellas, belts, boots appeared. And in 1976, the first Trussardi boutique was opened in Milan. The eighties witnessed the triumphant march of the brand.

In 1983, Trussardi introduced ready-to-wear womenswear for the first time. His collections have been shown on the biggest stages in Milan. Thanks to Nicola, leather season after season acquires unexpected features and is popular all over the world. In 1988 - the Trussardi Jeans line was launched, in 1989 - Trussardi Sport. Nikola's take on clothing is classic yet innovative, with generous use of the finest fabrics. An integral feature of the brand is the high precision of production and careful selection of materials. Trussardi did not stop there, for example, he created Palatrussardi near Milan, which hosted many great pop and rock concerts. Frank Sinatra, Liza Minnelli, Sammy Davis and many others demonstrated their skills there. With Nicola's characteristic sense of humor, he played himself in Robert Altman's Pret-a-Porter.

Interests carried him into various fields of activity, turned to completely different people. Striving for the ideal in everything, Trussardi often repeated: "I love to dedicate my work to different people and different styles of their lives, so that they always feel natural in their environment." Industrialist, manager, creator and designer, he never stopped. Work, life, art - all this was wonderfully intertwined in this man-motor. Being a very educated and cultured person, he was interested in literally everything, adored creativity and art in any manifestation. Nicolò participated in staging ballets, operas, any notable theatrical projects, worked side by side with great directors. Among other awards that he received for these works, there was a particularly honorable one: Nicolo Trussardi was a Knight Grand Cross, which he received from the hands of the President of the Italian Republic in 1987.

Like a true Italian, Trussardi loved sports, which, of course, was reflected in the work of his trading house. Nicola also excelled as a sports fashion designer. It is no coincidence that it was his fashion house that was instructed to create a uniform for the Italian team at the 1988 Olympics in Seoul.

From the very beginning, Trussardi Corporation has been distinguished by its diversity of products and activities. In 1986, the Trussardi Action line was launched, in 1988 - Trussardi Jeans, in 1989 - Trussardi Sport. The latter was the result of research into various materials: from microfiber to micropores, from ultra-waterproof to breathable fabrics, from the warmest to water-repellent materials. In 1991, the Trussardi Couture collection was shown for the first time in Rome. Spring 1996 was marked by the appearance of the T-Store collection - quality clothing for young people. The foundation named after him, created by Nicola Trussardi during the life of the designer, put forward a project that immediately received the support of the Italian Chamber of Fashion. His idea is to build a city within a city, a kind of "Valley of fashion", in which the art of "cutting and sewing" could develop in harmony with other arts.

Italian designer and image maker Nicola Trussardi knows how to make a woman or man look chic with a few little things. The symbol of the House of Trussardi - a portrait of a hound in a striped tie - speaks of respectability, nobility and sophisticated elegance. This is how famous Italian leather accessories, handbags and shoes are perceived all over the world, as well as Trussardi perfumes, which first appeared in 1980. The first Trussardi and Trussardi Uomo perfumes were what are commonly called "classic". Ten years later, Nicola Trussardi launched the more youthful Action lines (Fragrance Foundation Award in 1991), Action Uomo and the Action Sport unisex scent with the youth collection. The company's perfume collection was continued in 1993 with Donna Trussardi (a chypre fragrance for a business woman of the 90s) and L'Uomo Trussardi (classic Mediterranean scents, collected in a new melody).

In 1996, Nicolò had a dream to organize a Picasso exhibition. With it, he wanted to breathe new life into the Palazzo Trussardi. On four thousand square meters, five floors, it was supposed to open the Nicolo Trussardi Foundation to promote art, science, literature, theater. Two boutiques were supposed to be located on the ground floor, a cafe, an art center, a bookstore and an art store on the second and third. Other premises remained for, in fact, the House of Trussardi and the holding of shows. In general, the palace for Nikola was a special place, a small homeland, where he inevitably returned with pleasure from his many travels around the world.

Travel was another passion of Trussardi. And he always devoted crumbs of free time to sports: he played tennis, golf, was an excellent swimmer. Sufficiently traditional views - only their energetic nature could not be limited. He was drawn to the sky, and he flew in a private jet. He satisfied his craving for speed by rushing along the winding roads of Italy on a motorcycle. And shortly before his death, he acquired a sports car, the trip on which became fatal for him.

On April 15, 1999, the tragic death of 56-year-old Nicola Trussardi shocked the fashion world. He crashed his own car on the way home. Without regaining consciousness, he died in a Milan hospital. Shortly before his death, the fashion designer appointed his wife Maria Louise as creative director of the company.

His children - twenty-seven-year-old Beatrice and twenty-five-year-old Francesco take over the reins of the company. Their mother Marie-Louise became the main adviser and assistant. The youth did not disappoint: season after season, their collections convinced that they were the real children of their father. Sales grew, the influence of the house expanded. Francesco became President and Managing Director of Finos Group, a company owned by Trussardi. In 2002, the group earned 125 million euros, an improvement of 3%. She owes this success primarily to Francesco.

Beatrice, who lived in New York for four years, developed the new Trussardi style and oversaw the activities of the Nicola Trussardi Foundation.

Beatrice and Francesco were immersed in the work on the winter collection for the 2003-2004 season. And then something incredible happened. New blow. On a Sunday evening in January 2003, Francesco was returning home. But he was not destined to get there. Not far from home, his car went off the road at high speed and crashed into an electric pole. Passing motorists called an ambulance, but it was too late.

Beatrice was left alone: crushed, but not broken. She brilliantly held a fashion show - the last joint work with her brother. But, breaking the accepted traditions, Beatrice did not come out to the audience after the show. She just peeked out from behind the curtain and disappeared. From prying eyes, pity and talk of damnation.

April 16, 2004 in a boutique on Tverskaya 20, a show of the spring - summer collection 2004 "T-Store" took place. The collections "Trussardi Jeans" and "Trussardi Sport" were presented. Everything is reflected in the new collection: the fresh breath of airy white, and the luxury of softness of pink, and the stretch effect of bluish denim and Evil Rock, which has haunted the House of Trussardi for a century. Today Trussardi's sales network in Italy and abroad has 183 stores. Five belong to the House of Trussardi, the remaining 178 are branches.

History of the Italian House of Trussardi ( Trussardi) began in 1910 when Dante Trussardi, owner of a glove workshop, founded his own firm in Bergamo. Thanks to the high-quality leather processing, his gloves have become a success all over the world.

He begins to explore the latest ways of working with leather. Since 1973, Trussardi has launched a new series of products with his own name and trademark. He chose a greyhound as his symbol: a dog that was often present in paintings, fast and thin, symbolizing dynamics. With this label, he began to produce bags, suitcases and small leather goods. It was he who created multifunctional bags and backpacks, in which, in addition to personal items, a computer, telephone, floppy disks and documents are placed. Latin saying: All mine - I carry with me' is completely justified. Nicola began to use much softer leather than usual. The immediate success of the first collection led to an expansion of the product range. Umbrellas, belts, boots, etc.

The next step is clothing. In 1976 Trussardi's first store opened in Milan. Today, the chain of stores in Italy and abroad includes 183 stores. Five belong to the House of Trussardi, the remaining 178 are affiliated. In 1983, Trussardi introduced ready-to-wear womenswear for the first time. His collections were demonstrated on the largest stages in Milan, including in front of the main Duomo Cathedral. Thanks to Nicola, leather season after season acquires unexpected features and is popular all over the world. In 1986, the Trussardi Action line was launched, in 1988 - Trussardi Jeans, in 1989 - Trussardi Sport.

The tragic death of Nicola Trussardi on April 15 shocked the fashion world. He crashed his own car on the way home. His spouse Maria Luisa became the creative director of the company.

It has existed for more than a century, and during this time has managed to create thousands of different collections, both for men and women. Moreover, the collections consisted of clothes, shoes, accessories and even bags. Such a wide range is quite difficult to plan and account for, so in the 80s, Nicola Trussardi decided to break the brand into several lines that would occupy their own specific market niche. It is these lines that will be discussed in the article "Trussardi - the most famous lines of the brand's collections" on the blog of the AVIATOR men's clothing store.

Initially, he was engaged in the production of exclusively products made of genuine leather, such as: gloves, belts and ski uniforms. However, in 1970, Nicola Trussardi became the manager of the company that his grandfather had created, and decided to diversify the brand. Since then, every year the Trussardi brand began to produce a wide variety of clothes, shoes and accessories, each of which was distinguished by its uniqueness and sophistication. However, over the past 10 years, the number of released collections and items of goods began to exceed the limits of a reasonable one, and like any competent manager, Nicola Trussardi came to the conclusion that the brand should be divided into several sub-brands that would allow focusing on the production of collections of a certain type. What is the benefit of such clustering? First of all, this simplifies the work of designers, because it is much easier to deal with collections of the same cluster of products and make them in the same pre-designed style than to deal with different collections every few days, each of which has its own individual style and direction. Secondly, such a solution greatly simplifies planning, since each of the sub-brand companies deals with its own collections and it is easier to distribute responsibilities and production. Already after the first year of brand clustering, profits increased by 27% as a result of greater worker productivity. This became a serious indicator and Nikola decided to seriously take up the clustering of production.

Trussardi

Trussardi is the main line of the brand's collections, which produces clothes mainly for shows, as well as exclusive collections to order. It became a separate line in 1983, but initially it was devoted exclusively to women's clothing, and only in 1985 began to represent men's clothing as well. To date, the Trussardi sub-brand is also engaged in tailoring exclusive models of clothes for films.

Tru Trussardi

The second clothing line, created in the same year as Trussardi, however, initially positioned itself as a line of exclusively menswear. In 1985, this sub-brand was retrained in men's homewear and casual wear for middle-class people. Despite its great popularity, True Trussardi was closed in 2016, as Trussardi as a whole switched to the production of only premium clothing, so casual clothing for the middle class did not fit into this concept. However buy clothes Tru Trussardi still possible, as many models from the old collections are still in outlets and various official Trussardi stores around the world.

Trussardi Jeans

Nowadays, almost everyone wants it, since this line of collections is the most popular on all continents of the world. Trussardi Jeans was founded in 1986 and initially specialized exclusively in women's and men's clothing made of denim (jeans), which is quite clear from the name. However, the popularity of this type of clothing at that time forced the head of Trussardi Jeans to expand production, as the clothes of other brands, and even Trussardi's other lines, did not always look perfectly balanced with the Trussardi Jeans jeans collections. Therefore, already in the nineties, Trussardi Jeans also produced collections of T-shirts, shirts and blouses in the same conceptual line as the parallel jeans collections, which was an exclusive addition to them. After the 2000s, the popularity of Trussardi Jeans grew many times over, so this sub-brand was forced to expand its production as much as possible, covering almost the entire range of goods manufactured by the company. That is why in our time, many consider this line to be a full-fledged brand, and even more: that Trussardi Jeans = Trussardi, although in general this is not entirely true.

Trussardi Junior

As the name implies, the Trussardi Junior sub-brand creates a collection of premium class clothing and footwear exclusively for children under 13 years old. It was first created in 1983, but between the first collection and the second collection there was almost 5 years of break, as the first collection did not have the planned demand. However, today buy clothes Trussardi Junior in Europe is quite a popular wish of many young parents.

Trussardi Sport

The last line of the collection on the list, but by no means the last in popularity, is Trussardi Sport. This sub-brand specializes not only in sportswear, but also in everything related to sports: sports shoes, leather balls, uniforms and much more. In addition, the brand works closely with popular car brands that produce sports cars. Specifically, the arrangement of salons with a luxury design that would fit perfectly into the concept art of the car. Trussardi Sport was created in 1989, but it gained popularity almost immediately, since Italians have a love for sports in their blood.

Story

Brand founder - Nicola Trussardi

The history of the Trussardi brand began in 1910, it was then that Dante Trussardi opened a small workshop for the production of leather gloves in the Italian town of Bergamo, located fifty kilometers from Milan. The products offered by the company were of very high quality, so they soon became very popular among Italians. After the death of Dante, in 1970 the company passed into the hands of his grandson, Nicola Trussardi. By that time, the new owner had graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the Catholic University of Milan. To expand the range, Nikola began to study traditional and latest methods of leather processing and get acquainted with production technology.

In 1973, the aspiring fashion designer officially registered the Trussardi brand, at the same time he developed the brand logo, which is a greyhound in a striped tie, which was considered a symbol of nobility, quality, respectability and sophistication. From that moment on, the company began to produce not only gloves, but also suitcases, bags and various leather accessories. Nikola himself created several models of multifunctional bags and backpacks - this was his first experience, which later turned out to be very successful.

Women's collection "Autumn-Winter 2012-2013"

In 1975, the brand launched a line of umbrellas, belts and shoes, carefully selected materials for the production of the products. In 1976, Nicola opened the first Trussardi boutique in Milan. Seven years later, the Fashion House presented the first women's ready-to-wear collection, which was shown at the legendary La Scala theater. A year later, the designer began to design stage costumes for opera singers from the same theatre. In 1984, Trussardi organized a menswear show at the Pavilion of Modern Art in Milan. The presented collection was distinguished by practicality and conciseness, while remaining a symbol of discreet luxury.

In 1988, Nicola, with his design team, designed a collection of sportswear for the Italian team that competed at the Seoul Olympics. In the same year, a new denim line, Trussardi Jeans, was released, and a year later, the Trussardi Sport line appeared. In the early 1990s, Nicola Trussardi purchased the six-story 19th-century Palazzo Marino alla Scala, which previously housed an unremarkable hotel. The fashion designer made a grandiose reconstruction. On the first floor, he placed a branded boutique and Fashion Laboratory, on the second - a bookstore and a small restaurant for ten tables, and on the upper floors there was an art gallery and offices. During the reconstruction, the building "lost" a couple of levels.

In 1992, Trussardi launched a porcelain line and also introduced the first fragrance of the same name. In 1993, Nikola opened a brand store in Moscow, and also revealed to the fashion world two new fragrances "Action Sport" and "Donna Trussardi". In the spring of 1996, the brand developed a youth collection of quality clothing "T-Store".

A couple of months before his death, the designer appointed his wife Maria Louise as the creative director of the company. His children, Beatrice and Francesco, took an equally active part in the life of the brand, sales grew, new wonderful collections appeared, and the assortment expanded. In 2002, the company's revenues amounted to 125 million euros.

At the end of the same year, Trussardi's children designed the Autumn-Winter 2003-2004 collection, and soon the family suffered another blow. On a Sunday evening in January 2003, Francesco, returning home, crashed in his personal car, crashing at high speed into an electric pole. Even in such a difficult situation, Beatrice coped with her emotions and brilliantly held a show of the last joint work with her brother.
