  • The use of a device called a card reader.
  • which is now increasingly used due to the development of Internet technologies.
  • Sending photos over the network.

Warning

How to download photos from your phone? To begin with, it is worth knowing that if the user has decided to transfer files to the computer on his own, then the devices need to be connected only if there is original software for the models used and the original cable. Often manufacturers do not think about the quality of products. And people have to deal with problems. When using the original cables, there is practically no risk of breakdowns.

Description of transmission methods

To learn how to upload photos to your computer, you need to choose one of the following methods. The easiest method is to transfer pictures using a USB cable, which is always included in the mobile phone package. That is why you do not have to worry about additional expenses. Once the phone is connected to the PC, you must wait for the operating system to be able to recognize it. If this does not happen, then most likely you need to get into the device settings and change the necessary settings there. Sometimes it happens that some models are recognized as modems for connecting to the Internet or as a webcam. And you need to select the item that indicates that the mobile should work as a drive.

The next easy option is to send pictures from your phone to your email address. This process can take a lot of time, as it all depends on the speed of the Internet connection. It is necessary to select the necessary photos and send them to the email box. And already on the computer open the letter and download them into memory.

Are there any other ways to download photos from your phone? Yes. One common option is to use a cable. Here you need to know that in order to successfully complete the task, you need to purchase or download special software. It should not be pirated, as security is needed. After all, no one wants to lose important photos.

One interesting way is to use wireless networks. After all, every phone can connect via Bluetooth. Previously, this possibility was provided by an infrared port. But he's already outdated. Many laptops also have a Bluetooth port, so you just need to set up a connection and transfer photos without much difficulty.

The last of the simple options is the use of a special device called a card reader. This is a flash card adapter. It is necessary to remove the memory card from the mobile phone and insert it into the device. The card reader is then simply plugged into the computer's USB port. When opening, you need to find a folder with pictures and simply transfer them to the desired directory. This is a convenient way, since the card reader can always be carried with you in your bag or pocket.

Now you know how to download photos from your phone. All of the above methods are available even to an unprepared user. The main thing is to do everything right and not make mistakes so that valuable pictures are not lost forever.

Do you have a lot of images on your hard drive that you want to transfer to another machine? Knowing how to transfer photos from computer to computer will make this task easy, no matter how much data you need to transfer.

You can give a dozen ways to transfer files, but I will focus on those that I myself actively use. All methods have been tested dozens of times, so you don’t have to worry that the photos will fail to transfer: the pictures will go in the direction you specify.

How to transfer photos from computer to computer

Removable media transfer

The easiest way to transfer photos is to use a regular USB flash drive. The order is simple:

  1. Connect a flash drive to a PC, upload the necessary pictures to it by simply transferring a folder or individual files.
  2. Remove removable media, connect it to another PC or laptop.
  3. Copy pictures to the hard drive of another machine.

In my early youth, when flash drives were not so common, to transfer a large number of files, we pulled out the hard drive and connected it as a second hard drive. The copying speed was high, but now such an operation no longer makes sense: if you are going to move large amounts of images often, then buy an external drive.

Like a flash drive, an external hard drive is connected via a USB port. However, its capacity far exceeds the amount of available space on a flash drive, so you can transfer hundreds of thousands of pictures at once.

Creating a local network

If you want to move pictures between machines that are in the same room, then you can do without removable media. With a router or crossover cable, you can quickly set up a local network and copy pictures from one PC to another. Consider a typical situation: images are stored on a PC, and you need to transfer them to a laptop. Both devices are connected to the Internet through a router.

These steps must be performed on both computers. If they are connected to the same router, then this is enough for the local network to start working. It remains only to share the pictures, that is, to make them publicly available.

After completing these steps, just in case, restart your computer. Make sure that the photo folder is visible on the other machine: open an explorer window and go to the "Network" item. You will see a shared directory with images inside.

Using cloud storage

If there is no flash drive at hand, and computers cannot be connected to a local network, because they are too far from each other, then use cloud storage for data transfer. I use Yandex. Disk, so first I'll tell you how to transfer photos from one PC to another using its example.

Now you need to repeat the procedure on another computer. Only here you will not upload photos, but download. Open "Disk", find the pictures. Select them and click Download.

Learn more about Yandex. I already wrote a disk in an article about . But not only Yandex has cloud storage: if you have Google mail or Mail, you can also freely move files between PCs. For example, use Google Drive:

On Mail.ru, the operation is repeated with slight differences. You also need to go to the mail, and then click the "Cloud" button: a storage will open where you can upload photos and other files.

The issue of transferring images from a mobile or other portable device to a home or work computer is very often faced by users.

There are several different ways to move files. Any user can choose the most suitable option for him.

"My computer"

Android connects directly to the PC via a USB cable, the port does not matter.

A shortcut to the device will appear in the My Computer menu. On some models, you must first unlock the display and select the MPT connection method. Read more.

The menu is entered by double-clicking on the name, then the "Internal storage" folder is used if the pictures are in the phone's memory, or "SD card" if they are located on a flash card.

The images from the camera are in the "DCIM" folder. Photos are placed in the "Camera" directory or in directories with application names: "WhatsApp" or "Screenshots", etc.

Copying is carried out in any convenient way:

  • Right mouse click and menu item "Copy";
  • Quick commands ctrl+C (after selecting objects) and ctrl+V in the data transfer field;
  • By dragging to the desktop or to another folder.

Ahdroid is an open system, and other folders such as Downloads, Pictures, Photo, Media, and DCIM should be checked for a full-blown image search.

Transferring Photos to OS X

  1. Using a USB cable, connect Android to Apple technology and unlock the screen.
  2. In the "Applications" folder, select the "Image Capture" program, inside it, in the "Devices" menu, find the necessary gadget.
  3. In the drop-down menu, specify a location to save the copied objects.
  4. If you plan to migrate all objects, you can use the "Import All" command. To select certain images, hold down the "Command" button and click on the pictures with the mouse.
  5. After selecting all the elements, use the "Import" command.

Via DropBox

The DropBox app can be downloaded for free from Google Play. You can install the app at dropbox.com/connect.

When you start the program, instructions for creating an account will be displayed. During the installation process, enable the "Upload from camera" function, which will provide the ability to automatically save pictures taken on your phone or tablet to the cloud storage.

Photos already on the device will have to be copied manually through the application. To transfer, select an object, wait a few seconds, then select the next photo.

The "Share" command allows you to work with the selected images, clicking "Add to Dropbox" will send you to the choice of the destination of storage.

With a Google+ account

You can view photos on your computer and quickly download them from the Google+ social network. Registration on the network occurs automatically as soon as mail is started in the system of the same name.

All Android devices have the G+ project installed by default. By selecting the “Photos” tab in it, through the settings, you can set auto-upload of all created photos immediately to your account.

To download photos, it will be enough to log into Google+ from a computer and copy the images using "Save As".

Copying files via AirDroid

The above program allows you to control equipment that operates on Android using a browser on your computer.

The AirDroid application is downloaded to the phone, after launching it gives a few installation tips on its own. The "Start" button will start the system, after which the utility will issue an address that must be entered in the address bar of the browser and generate a one-time password.

After entering the received address into the browser on your phone or tablet, you must confirm the connection. After logging in, your browser will display the internal contents of the phone. By selecting the Photos or Images folder, you can select and copy archives with photos.

In the most general form, the dimensions of the greenhouse should be such that they are convenient to use and fit into the landscape. Sometimes it is recommended to purchase or make greenhouses larger than required, since it often turns out later that there is simply not enough space in them. You can do it more sensibly. To do this, measure the area of \u200b\u200bthe site on which it is planned to erect the structure. The size is chosen based on what work is supposed to be done: just walk along the paths and wash the windows or carry a cart, or maybe a lawn mower.

How to transfer photos, videos and music files from phone to computer and vice versa? There are currently three ways to solve this problem. Which method to use depends solely on the model of your mobile phone.

1. Using a memory card. If your phone has
flash card, then the easiest option is to remove it from the device and insert it into
card reader. To be able to work with the flash card used in your phone, you need a card reader.
If your computer does not have a built-in reader that works with memory cards
format, you can use an adapter. As a rule, it is included in the package of your device, and is also attached to the memory card for the phone. In the absence of an adapter, you
You can buy a specialized reader for this type of cards.

2. By cable: If you have a data cable that allows you to connect
device with a computer, then from a phone to a PC (or vice versa) you can copy almost any data - from the address book to photos. In some cases, you may need to install special software to transfer pictures.

3. Via Bluetooth: This is the most modern, but, unfortunately, the most complicated way.

On the website of the House of Answers, it makes no sense to talk in detail about all these
ways. Since each of them will take up a lot of space. Therefore, I advise

How to transfer photos from phone to laptop or computer? It all depends on the capabilities of the computer and the compatibility of the phone.

If you need to upload a photo from a modern Android smartphone (touch phone) to a laptop with a Windows operating system, there are no problems. In modern technology, everything is standardized.

If the task is to upload a photo from an outdated phone to a computer, the procedure becomes much more complicated. The difficulty lies in the fact that the computer recognizes the old phone in the form of a flash card, on which there is a folder with photos. If this succeeds, the problem is solved quickly.

A more difficult case is when the phone is completely “ancient”. For example, an old Nokia, where you need to install a special Nokia PC Suite program. A disk with this program, as well as a special cable for connecting to a USB contact on a computer, must be sold either together with the phone or separately.

The main thing is to buy an additional cord and download the software application from the Internet. But it requires computer experience.

If there is at least one of the people who understands computers nearby, it is easier to ask for help. If not, you will have to transfer photos from your phone to your laptop yourself.

By the way, there are a lot of YouTube tutorials on this subject, and if this step-by-step instruction does not help, watch the tutorial video.

How to transfer photos from Android phone to laptop

    Step #1

First, make sure you have a wire that can connect your phone to your computer. Nothing can be confused here, so do not be afraid to experiment. Often the cord from the phone has:

    • miniUSB or microUSB connector on one side (for phone);
    • USB connector on the other side (for a computer or laptop).

Take a good look at your phone charger. Often such a wire is simply inserted into the head of the adapter. If the cord is pulled out of the charger (where the plug is), then this is the wire you need

    Step #2

We connect one end of the wire to the Adnroid phone, and insert the other end into the laptop. If everything is correct (and you simply cannot make a mistake here), a robot icon and the message “USB mass storage device” appear on the phone screen, below the “Enable USB storage device” button. Click on this button.

If an informational message appears, confirm "OK"

    Step #3

If the connection is successful, the Android robot turns red, orange. At the same time, autoload works on a computer or laptop. In our screenshot, autoload worked for the main memory of the phone and for the SD flash drive. Therefore, we see 2 autorun message boxes.

In both windows, select "Open folder to view files". If you have only one autoload window, everything is fine. Choose the same options.

    Step #4

Let's say that everything went well and you got to this point. Then you will see your android phone memory open dad. There are a lot of nested folders here, but we need to find exactly those where the photos are nested.

Even purely theoretically, one can assume that the photographs will be placed in folders like:

    • PICTURES
    • IMAGES
    • IMAGES
    • MY PHOTOS
    • MyPhoto
    • camera

A simple method of "TYKA" (trial and error) look into such folders. Most likely, your photos will be in them. If there are also nested folders in these folders, walk through them all.

Do not be afraid - do not cause any trouble to either the phone or the computer. Feel free to explore the contents of your phone or its SD flash drive.

So, in our case, we found the folder with the necessary photos in the “DCIM
Camera. Most likely, you will have it elsewhere. Finding where your photos are saved is the most difficult stage of the whole operation.

    Step #5

When you find your photos in the memory of the flash drive, select the ones you want to copy. If you need to copy everything, select all photo files.

To select all files in a folder, there is a key combination Ctrl + A (where A is an English letter). You can also select files with the mouse.

After the selection remains ON THE SELECTED AREA, press the right mouse button - select the "Copy" item.

    Step #6

The next step is to choose a location to save the photos on your computer. To transfer photos from your phone to your laptop and not confuse all the files, you need to either create a new folder or select an existing directory to insert new photos.

In the selected folder on the computer, press the right mouse button - select the "Paste" option. In the screenshot, we have created a special folder on the "C" drive, which we called "Photos from the phone"

Windows may also ask you to confirm your decision. You have to agree with him.

IMPORTANT: after the copy operation is completed, it is very important to return to the Android phone and press the "Disconnect USB storage" button there !!! If for some reason it is impossible to disconnect the device from the computer, it is better to turn off the computer / laptop and only then remove the cords and connector pins.

IMPORTANT: we strongly do not recommend pulling out the connecting cord from the phone or computer while copying or opening files! So you can damage the device's memory and lose all photos, videos, contact list, music and other files forever. In the worst cases, you can even break the SD drive.

    In conclusion

In this step-by-step instruction, we have considered the question of how to transfer photos from your phone to a computer with the most successful conditions. In practice, you may encounter a lot of difficulties. Solve problems as they arise. This article came out as a general, generalized one, since for every small detail one could write a separate step-by-step instruction or even a whole book here.

    Alternative solutions:

    1. You can also transfer photos from your phone to your laptop using BlueTooth.
    2. Send photos to email, and then download to your computer.
    3. Attach photos to documents of the VK social network, and then download them to your laptop.
    4. Download files from cloud storage, via Yandex Disk or Cloud Mail or Google Profile.
    5. Transfer photos from your phone to your computer using the pulled out flash card and the computer's card reader.
    6. Transfer photos from an Android phone via an external flash drive and a special cable (“Dad - microUSB” “MAMA - USB”).
    7. Send a photo through a friend or acquaintance. You send your photos to a friend, and he already sends them to you via a USB flash drive.
    8. Ask a neighbor or look into any computer service or game club, Internet cafe to help you
