Usually in a reality show, a car arrives and takes the heroes home, in "Pregnant Dad" the losers are put in a boat and they sail away.
The project participants live under the same roof in a huge house, like in "The Boys". Only tomboys lived and slept in the same bedroom, while pregnant couples have their own separate rooms.
The purpose of each test is to see how the couples will behave in the given circumstances. The psychologist monitors the behavior and who said what, in order to then have a conversation with the couple with a debriefing.

This is a solid uncle, father. What he knows in life, but on the screen he embodies the image of a man who has taken place in life, who has a lot to learn from and whose advice will be taken seriously by other males in the villa. I didn’t really feel the performance - most likely, some of them were affected by the fear of television cameras and this behavior looked a little unnatural. The images of unfortunate fathers in business cards are a little exaggerated to make it easier for the audience to understand how one participant differs from another.
I have mixed feelings about the content of the show. On the one hand, the problems of married couples during pregnancy are almost never discussed. Basically, such programs are devoted to future mothers and their problems at the household level, but what is happening behind closed doors is not. How to behave correctly in difficult situations can only be read on the Internet on mom's forums, where couch psychos also sit. Thus, the show "Pregnant Dad" has an educational function. On the other hand, everyone knows that during pregnancy, women should not be worried, but here immediately TV cameras are everywhere, tasks and the fear of flying out of the project are sheer stress. In addition, the paranoid moods of pregnant women are exploited, who instead of brains have a cocktail of raging hormones. But in any experiment there are victims. The benefits of the show outweigh the harm.
