Reporting concert for parents “The house in which we live. Scenario of the concert for parents "the magical world of childhood" I see the goal, I believe in myself

26.06.2019

If you're thinking about throwing a dream concert but don't know how to get started, follow 15 tips from seasoned organizers and your concert will be doomed to success.

1. Register your business.Alas, an individual cannot organize a concert - for this you need to be an individual entrepreneur or a legal entity. Such cases will have to be registered.

2. Forget about your own musical tastes.Potential viewers may not like your tastes, so analyze social media and streaming services to get an idea of the approximate audience that is ready to go to this or that artist.

3. Don't you dare forget about social media.Your viewers live there, and without regular notifications like “group Y is coming to city X”, people simply won’t know that you are organizing a concert of their favorite band in the sweat of your face. Do not skimp on advertising and occupy social networks - let everyone know about your organizational activities (but not immediately - see paragraph 10).

4. However, do not rely on polls in the spirit of "Which group would you bring?".Admirers of Shortparis, 1/2 Orchestra, Corpse-Eyed Toads and other less popular bands will shower you with likes and comments, but they may not come to the concert itself - in this case you will be left with an empty hall and a gaping hole in your wallet.

5. Do not grab from the start for large projects. It is better to gain experience by making bumps on small moves than to make a big import, unknowingly make mistakes and fly into the cash.

6. Be as clear as possible on your estimated costs.Make an estimate of the event, remembering to include some amount for unforeseen expenses. And in general, provide yourself with financial safety net - remember about working capital.

7. Do not make events for the last money.Concerts cannot be considered as a joker that can rehabilitate your financial condition - you can be left without money at all. Yes, you need to be ready for flights - at first it is inevitable.

8. Get ready to waste time, money and nerve cells.Musicians, venue owners, managers, media representatives, "techies" and officials will piss you off with questions and demands, while making your wallet less dense at the same time. Accept it, but don't let yourself go over budget.

9. Discuss everything.Having decided on the group and the venue of the concert, agree with the musicians and the owners of the concert venue about the date and time of the event. Also, don't forget about the fee: discuss not only the amount, but also the form - some groups work for a percentage of ticket sales.

10. Don't rush to advertise. Before the tour license is issued, any advertising is prohibited. Due to the violation of this rule, the coldwave group , for example, never performed at Corpus last spring.

11. Get a tour. This is a certificate that allows you to hold concerts on the territory of the Republic of Belarus (yes, everything is complicated). To obtain such a certificate, you will have to apply to the city executive committee or the regional executive committee - drag an application for issuing a certificate, an event program, background information about the group and pray that your concert is not branded " ". "Tour" will be needed not only by foreign, but also by domestic musicians - in this case, everything is done in a simplified form, and you do not have to pay for the certificate itself. However, you should not relax - to compatriots, the ideologists of the Minsk City Executive Committee , as well as to foreign performers.

12. Control time. The “tour” is done for about five working days, and ten days before the sale of entrance tickets, you should have all the documents in your hands.

13. Follow the technical and household rider of the artists. But be prepared for the fact that these requirements can be very crazy things: Kanye West, for example, requires a towel from Versace, and The Rolling Stones indicate in their rider a separate room with a pool table. It's good that you don't plan to bring these guys to us...

14. Always think about the audience. They are the main link of the whole concert chain. If you goof around with the sound, the dance floor, the warm-up or the wardrobe, you will get massive hoots, a flurry of angry comments and a pile of dislikes.

15. Know it will be scary. What if the flight of your musicians is canceled or the drunk drummer loses his passport? And traffic jams can fly out in the middle of a concert and the vocalist will definitely break an expensive amplifier ... Remember that force majeure happens, and keep an action plan in mind so as not to sit in horror with your head in your hands. If you have total problems with stress tolerance, find a more relaxed activity.

We express our respect to Ivan Vasilyevich, Yan Popkov, Pavel Bogdanovich, Oleg Chubakov and Sergey Polazhenko for their help in preparing the material.

It's no secret that in the world of music there is always competition. But, despite this, people still appear who are interested in organizing concerts and music festivals. And if you also sometimes thought about how to make a concert, then it will not be superfluous for you to familiarize yourself with a simple scheme for organizing concerts for beginners.

To get started you will need:

  • No budget
  • Knowledge of local groups or contacts through which stars can be invited
  • Friends willing to offer help
  • Sociability, without it nothing
  • The designer who will be busy with the artwork
  • Computer with internet access

Instructions for organizing a concert

  • Before organizing a concert, it is necessary to conduct a small analysis of music venues and teams. To do this, you will need a computer with Internet access, thanks to which you can go to specialized sites where you will learn a lot of information about groups and even find contacts to contact them.
  • It is necessary to think carefully about the genre of the concert itself, and which venues will be more relevant for it, because the organization of concerts of stars has a completely different focus.
  • Decide on the teams that will directly perform at your event. Prepare a list of teams that are most interested and write them an offer letter asking them to perform at your concert.
  • Further, when you already have a list of bands and some venues for performing, you need to decide on the date of the concert. Weekends are considered the best time for absolutely any concert.
  • Simply indispensable for the organization of any concert are promotional materials. These include flyers, posters, posters, etc. And just the designer will help to develop them, because who can know better how to make a concert poster. You should make sure that you give the designer accurate information about the teams, dates, name and location of your event.
  • The bands that will be participating in the concert can also help you. Just give them a certain number of tickets to resell, naturally offer them a percentage of the tickets sold. This will help attract as many people as possible to the event.
  • Activities should be promoted as actively as possible, using posters and a variety of leaflets. They can be given out to musicians, who in turn will distribute them to their friends and fans. Also, don't forget to put up a poster at the venue of the concert itself.

Important points for organizing concerts

Security is probably the most important point in organizing concerts. That is why all the thoughts of the organizers about how to properly organize a concert should first of all be directed to organizing all the necessary security measures for this event. And all because holding any kind of mass events carries a certain hidden threat, because there is a very large amount of equipment at the concert, which makes you think at least about fire protection.

In addition, even decorations are dangerous, because if their fastenings are not of high quality, then they can collapse at any moment, which can subsequently harm the guests themselves. Often, in the productions of their concerts, the organizers use fire and light shows, which require more caution and compliance with special safety rules.

Group concert organization

If you are thinking about how to organize a group concert, then you should know two main points that concert visitors do not know, but you, as the organizer, must know.

  • The first is the fee, namely, how much the work of this or that group on stage will cost you.
  • The second is the rider, or in simple terms technical and living conditions. Usually it depends on the popularity of the team.

Classification of performing groups

  • Widespread popularity in wide circles. Groups of this kind gather stadiums, their fees are very high, the conditions of the rider are almost impossible, but they will undoubtedly gather a full hall, from babies to pensioners.
  • Widespread popularity in narrow circles. These are mostly successful bands that work in any style other than POP. Their fees are usually quite acceptable, and the riders include several points.
  • Narrow popularity in wide circles. They have less success than the groups from the first point, however, their fees are higher than those of the groups from the second point, and the riders are painted on several sheets.
  • Narrow popularity in narrow circles. Almost no one knows about them, although they probably have two released albums and one video clip in their piggy bank, which was shown a couple of times on music channels.

And if you are thinking about how to organize a concert with the participation of groups, then first you should use the services of groups that are widely popular in narrow circles. And if the event looks like a fest or session, then groups that have a narrow popularity in narrow circles will do.

Of course, so that your event does not consist of mistakes and shortcomings, it is better to turn to trusted organizers - professionals in their field. The cost of organizing a concert may not reach the mark of $ 1,000, or may exceed a million, so before starting work on organizing a holiday, you will need to decide from the very beginning on the amount of money that you are willing to spend.

If you are seriously interested in a career as a musician, you will have to perform live. It is useful to keep track of information in the local media in order to know in advance the places where you can speak.
Often, especially at first, you will have to perform in combined concerts with other bands. Sometimes 3-5 teams per evening are involved in such concerts, and young musicians have to perform in the most extreme conditions: to warm up the "stars", often without a sound check and normal tuning.
But in order to get somewhere without it, there is no way. All famous bands started somewhere. And there is nothing shameful in this, playing for someone as an opening act. After all, your goal is to become famous. Therefore, any performance is your chance for good luck.

Be demanding of yourself

Try to be the best group of speakers. How to do it? Very simple. If you have seen the performances of the bands with which you are going to play, then you already imagine their style, repertoire, manner of being on stage. You know their strengths and weaknesses, and you can design your presentation to look good against their background.
If you don't know the bands you're playing with, a little reconnaissance work will be needed. Find and listen to their recordings, talk to people who have seen their performances, to the musicians themselves. Analyze the information received: what they do poorly, you should do well; what they do well, you should do even better. They are your competitors. But you can’t go into conflict with them and arrange sabotage for them. Win in a worthy way. "Only those who are not smart choose the path of war!" Perhaps you personally will play in one of these groups tomorrow, or one of them will play in yours.

At first, to make yourself known, you will have to speak for free. Don't overdo it: if you perform for free too often, it will be difficult for you to get concert organizers to pay you later. You can make two programs - one for free concerts, the other for paid ones. If your group is too big or loud for some kind of concert, you can perform in a reduced line-up (soloist + guitarist, soloist + keyboardist), or under the "minus one" soundtrack. An "intermediate" option is also possible - the phonogram of the rhythm section is recorded (bass + drums), the rest of the musicians play "live" (this is how V. Syutkin sometimes works.)

Plan concerts in advance:

  • Seek every opportunity to speak;
  • Prepare in advance for a conversation with the organizers of the concerts. You will have to convince them to include your group in the program.
  • Prepare demo materials for the organizers: a cassette (CD), graphic materials, video recordings of your performances (we told you how to compose them last time). Do not send materials by mail, give them in person. Usually a person listens to music for only 20-30 seconds, and immediately begins to express his opinion. If you are nearby, you may be asked to speak about your group.
  • Attach a photo of the band, a press release, a list of songs that you plan to perform to the demo.
(but not all of your songs, leave something in reserve)
  • Feel free to promote yourself, mention all your latest accomplishments
  • Try to find an energetic person for the role of administrator (manager). In the US and Europe, the group manager usually receives 10-15 percent of the income, although there are exceptions (The Beatles manager Brian Epstein received 25 percent of ALL the group's income, i.e. more than any of the Beatles)

Construction of the concert

  • If you have never performed on stage before, here are some tips for you:
  • We can recommend the following order: performance 45-50 minutes, break 10-15 minutes; or after 1.5 hours a break for 30 minutes. But if the audience in the hall is dancing, try to play non-stop for as long as you have the strength.
  • In club concerts there can be long pauses (30-40 minutes each) after 3-4 hours of performances (i.e. after 3-4 sections of 45-50 minutes each with pauses of 10-15 minutes, respectively). If you are playing at a wedding, there will inevitably be pauses during the performance. If somewhere you are offered to speak for 2 hours, be prepared to speak for 2.5 hours.

Be specific

  • Prepare the program in advance according to the time you have. If you are given 1 hour, the program should last 1 hour. If you are performing in a group concert, keep your performance short but memorable.
  • Don't waste time between songs. 15 seconds of pause will seem like an eternity to listeners. 5 seconds is a normal pause. If the pause lasts up to 2 minutes, then you are disorganized and not ready to perform live. Prepare a list of songs in advance and follow it.
  • Before the concert, set up and check the instruments and equipment.
  • Do not allow yourself and your musicians to consume alcohol and drugs before the concert. It seems to some that this allows them to be more relaxed on stage, but the view from the audience says otherwise.
  • Keep drinks and lighted cigarettes away from equipment and tools.
  • It's important to remember that each of your concerts is a chance to get a few more fans.
  • Never turn against yourself the audience and the organizers of the concert. An angry audience may start throwing bottles and chairs onto the stage, this will damage your equipment and injure you. If, thanks to you, the audience makes a riot in the hall, be sure: you will no longer have to perform in this hall.
  • If possible, walk among the crowd after the concert and listen to what they say about you.
  • Never let anyone in the audience, especially drunks, get on stage! - they can break something they can say something into the microphone that will turn the audience or the concert organizers against you, they can injure themselves or you.
  • If performing outdoors, ask the organizers to provide a canopy or roof over the stage. This will protect you and your equipment from overheating and rain.
  • Don't get irritated over little things while performing. You can never foresee everything in advance. There will always be something unexpected. Have backup cables, guitar strings, a screwdriver, electrical tape, tape in stock.
  • Be positive before the performance.
  • Don't fight each other on stage. Discuss everything after the concert.

In addition to these quite obvious questions, there are a number of other points that even well-known musicians with solid concert experience miss.

Musicians often have to perform in places that are not specially adapted for this, in conditions that are far from ideal. You have to see that the musicians are sitting in a dark corner, the audience is indifferently hanging around the hall, the TV is muttering nearby. If you do not force the public to pay attention to you, you can put an end to your career.
If you don't get people to look at you, you certainly won't get them to listen to you. You should be clearly visible from all points of the hall, and no less well heard. Before the performance, ask yourself questions: is it possible to remove or turn the chairs, standing with their backs to the stage? Can you see the stage from the bar? Can TVs be turned off? Can you sit on the stage or is it necessary to stand so that you can be clearly seen from everywhere?
At the beginning of the speech, focus your attention on the people sitting at the tables closest to you. If they are interested in your performance, their condition will gradually be transferred to the rest of the audience. Perhaps at first you will feel some kind of rejection, a lack of contact with the audience. You will have to show tact and endurance to get positive feedback.

Lighting

Many musicians are too picky about it. They prefer to play in the twilight: the light hits the eyes, the lamps are too bright, they are hot. It's all like that. Playing in the dark is the best way to be invisible to the public. Many halls and clubs do not have adequate stage lighting, so you should take care of it in advance. In addition, often the capabilities of stationary lighting devices do not correspond to your plan. Therefore, it is worth considering your own lighting equipment.
An important issue for any performer is feedback from the audience. Performing in twilight reduces the possibility of feedback. How is this song perceived? How does the audience react to certain elements of the concert? To your verbal dialogue with the audience and your comments on the songs? Twilight, sluggish performance will make people bored, talking among themselves, changing seats and leaving the hall. If you receive a percentage of the tickets sold, the concert organizers will not be happy with you.
If you are experienced musicians with a hit repertoire, this does not mean that your performance will be a success.

To increase your chances of success, you need the following:

  • Make a memorable introduction. Someone uses outlandish costumes, someone - theatrical action. Come up with something original but relevant to your musical material. You need to capture the attention of the audience from the very first minutes. For example, Oleg Skrypka from the Vopli Vidoplyasov group prefaces each song with funny rhymes on surzhik, Aria arranges fireworks, Hummingbirds invent intricate robes, and Armen Grigoryan from the Crematorium repeatedly burned his famous black hat.
  • Dress appropriately. Clothes are the easiest way to stand out from the crowd, right?
  • Engage the audience with conversations - who are you, where are you from, where did you perform, your hobbies, etc. People should be interested in you enough to want to talk to you after the concert.
  • Make a list of songs ahead of time and stick to it during your performance. Consider changing between fast and slow songs, original material and cover versions, etc.
  • Your speech, comments between songs should be literate and varied. Vary the pace of speech and tone of voice. Learn from people who often perform from the stage. Think over your speech in advance. Write it down on paper and study it. It will be better than clumsy attempts to improvise from the stage.
  • Make your presentation varied. Sing a capella (without accompaniment), acoustic ballads (with the main electric repertoire), use parodies of famous hits.
  • Mobilize your sense of humor. Sing funny songs (at least at the end of the program), tell jokes and funny stories. People came to rest!

Scenario of the concert for parents "The Magical World of Childhood"

Do not burden them with philosophical questions.

  • Avoid pauses. Tuning guitars, meetings on stage - a great temptation for the audience to go smoke and not come back. Make your performance "seamless", non-stop.
  • Move, use all possible space. Make the audience turn their heads.
  • Make the audience participate in the performance - sing along, clap their hands, dance.
  • The viewer should not see that it is difficult for you on stage, that some numbers are difficult for you. In the eyes of the audience, you should do everything with pleasure for yourself.
  • Use video effects (slides, film projections, etc.) A person receives 80 percent of information through sight. You may not be able to create a show that equals Pink Floyd in terms of entertainment, but what prevents you from striving for this?
  • Make a memorable and effective ending. It can be something grandiose or vice versa, quiet and soothing.

Learn from others and from yourself

  • Watch concerts of world stars.
  • Record your performances. For starters, just on a computer, for example, in Cubase. Listen to it and mark everything you didn't like. This will have to be worked on.
  • Record your performance on video. Video footage is a pitiless mirror. The first time you watch your performance from the outside, you will fall into horror. There is something to work on, right? Don't get killed. The video is just information about the past. The past is no more.
  • By analyzing audio and video recordings of your performances, correcting mistakes, you will perform better and better every time. Progress will not keep you waiting!

So, at the "family council" it was decided that your child should go to study "music" at a music school. What is it for you, for him, and "with what it is eaten."

A child for 5 or 7 years of study in music. The school should learn how to properly play the instrument, sing well (for example, be able to sing any pop song or classical romance you like), develop an ear that makes it easy to “pick up” your favorite melody with accompaniment on the piano, find out “who is who” in the music world.

These will be lessons in playing an instrument (piano, button accordion, accordion, violin, cello, double bass, flute, clarinet, guitar, etc.). Usually this is 2 (or 1) times a week for 30 or 45 minutes. And you need to prepare for these classes at home - that is, repeat what was played in the lesson in the "music room".

This is a choir, usually once a week. Parents! In no case do not look at this subject as a "secondary" one that you can not attend. It is only there that you can listen to the good singing of the choir and thus the child himself can learn to sing correctly.

This is solfeggio, a subject that includes both musical rules, and analysis of musical text, and learning - singing - musical numbers (songs recorded with notes), and composing music, and the ability to hear sounds and write them down using musical signs (musical dictation ).

This is ensemble music - singing in an ensemble, playing in an ensemble (for example, the ability to sing a song for several voices, play an ensemble (violin - guitar, violin - piano, flute - guitar, etc.).

Scenario of the family New Year

Usually this is a subject of choice, you need to negotiate individually. A very useful item, it gives a good base for mastering the voice.

This is the subject "listening to music", which from the fourth grade will be called "musical literature". Children will get acquainted with musical genres (song, dance, march, symphony, sonata, opera, ballet, song (romance), operetta ...), with biographies of composers (Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Haydn, Schubert, Chopin, Liszt, Glinka, Mussorgsky , Rachmaninov, Shostakovich, Prokofiev, Stravinsky…), with musical trends (baroque, classicism, romanticism, realism…). Learn to hear and understand the language of musical works.

For populists (harp, button accordion, accordion, balalaika, domra ...) and wind players (flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone, horn ...) - this is also an "orchestra".

It is very difficult for your child to study at a music school when you are not a musician. The vocal apparatus is usually not developed to sing even the initial solfeggio numbers, hence the poor development of ear for music, the lack of accumulation of musical samples (base) in the head, then the inability to hear one’s playing the instrument, the inability to tune in and sing in the choir, the inability to sing or play in an ensemble . The displeasure of the teachers is the displeasure of the child, constant childhood stress: he sang it wrong, he didn’t hear it, he played it wrong. And suffering self-esteem: am I a loser? can't I? I am bad?

There is a real opportunity to help your child in a situation where the parent is not a musician, but he has time to help the child. Try the audio trainer.

Summer time is the time when there are no classes at the music school. And here there is a unique opportunity to make a breakthrough in the development of musical ear and voice - and for the next academic year to solve all the problems with solfeggio, with lessons on the instrument, in the choir, with vocal lessons. Spend a little time with the audio trainer and your first grader or second grader or third grader's eyes will glow with joy next school year - teachers always praise children with "good ears and voices." And the head will also turn on - the child will also be called smart - after all, when parsing musical examples, many rules for musical literacy will be remembered by themselves.

Lecture-concert "Only music will tell"

Purpose: to educate a socially active, creative personality by means of musical art.

1. Development of imagination, interest in music.

2. Education of musical taste, figurative perception.

3. Expanding horizons on the example of the world's musical cultural heritage.

Equipment: piano, violin, computer, reproductions of paintings, computer, DVDs. Musical illustrations will be performed by teachers Ishchenko, Tselenko.

Only music will tell what can not be expressed in words,

Only music will blow with inspired dreams,

They say - she is art, and she - she is alive.

Music is with us all the time. It surrounds us everywhere, it is within us. The chirping of birds, the rustling of leaves, the splashing of water, the howling of the wind - this is music, the music of nature. She was born on Earth before us, and then a man was born and created art from the sounds of nature and the name of this art is music. Man gave voice to grass, trees, water. Music told us about nature, about the world in which we live. Music reflects everything that a person lives with. Talking about music is talking about life (sounds "Morning" from the suite "Peer Gynt" by E. Grieg). The music of this work unusually colorfully paints a picture of the dawning day - the sunrise, the chirping of birds. Many composers in their works turned to the theme of nature. This is how Bach depicted spring in his short play (the play Spring sounds). Each picture of nature is invariably associated with some season. The history of music knows four famous interpretations of the theme of the seasons. These works are called "The Seasons". These are a cycle of concerts by Vivaldi, an oratorio by Haydn (1801), a cycle of piano pieces by P. I. Tchaikovsky (1876), a ballet by A. K. Glazunov (1899). Spring is the brightest, joyful, festive time of the year, when all living things awaken and bloom after the winter cold. March is the first month of spring. P. I. Tchaikovsky in his piano cycle “The Seasons” gave the name to this month “Song of the Lark”. The lark is a field bird, which in Russia is revered as a spring songbird. Her singing is associated with the arrival of spring, the awakening of all nature from hibernation, the beginning of a new life. The play by P.I. Tchaikovsky "Song of the Lark" is performed. Snowdrop - a flower that appears Tchaikovsky gave the name "Snowdrop" to the month of April. The play is written in the rhythm of a waltz, all imbued with a rush, a surge of emotions. It heartily conveys the excitement that arises when contemplating spring nature, and a joyful feeling of hope for the future. The play "Snowdrop" is performed. The concerts of the cycle "The Seasons" by A. Vivaldi are program music, that is, music corresponding to a certain literary program. The first part of the concert "Spring" illustrates the first two quatrains.

Spring is coming! And joyful song

Full of nature. Sun and warmth

Streams murmur. And holiday news

Zephyr spreads like magic.

Suddenly velvet clouds roll in

Like a blasphemy, heavenly thunder sounds.

But the mighty whirlwind quickly dries up

And twitter again floats in the blue space. The first part of the concert "Spring" is performed.

Nature "warmed up", woke up, came to life, blossomed with violent colors. Summer has come into its own. Bright elegant butterflies flutter, birds from warm countries have returned. The play "Butterflies" by E. Grieg is being performed. Butterflies swept by. And now we are already hearing the first drops of warm summer rain, after which a rainbow appears in the sky. The wonderful play "Rain and Rainbow" from the cycle "Children's Music" by S.S. Prokofiev draws a dull sad mood. You can't go outside because of the rain. Then the melodic intonations become brighter and brighter. One can imagine that the rain has finally stopped, the sun's rays illuminate everything around, and a rainbow has appeared in the sky. The play "Rain and Rainbow" is performed. Before us is the next picture of the summer

landscape - a swan - a proud, graceful bird. The most accurate musical description of this beautiful bird was given by the composer Saint-Saens.

Preschooler.RF

The play "The Swan" has been extraordinarily popular for many years. The ballet number "The Dying Swan" performed by the brilliant Russian ballerina A. Pavlova was set to the music of this immortal work. The piece was written for cello and piano. There are transcriptions for violin and piano, for violin ensemble and for saxophone and piano. The piece "Swan" from the suite "Carnival of the Animals" by Saint-Saens for violin and piano is performed. The concert "Summer" is rightfully considered the brightest work of the cycle "The Seasons" by A. Vivaldi. It seems that it is simply impossible to convey with music a picture of suffocating summer heat, thunderstorms and torrents more vividly and more figuratively. The first part - "Exhaustion from the heat" - is a remark by the composer himself

The herd wanders lazily, the grass withers.

From the heavy suffocating heat,

All living things suffer and languish

The cuckoo sings in the silence of the oak forest

And gently sigh the breezes. The first part of the concert "Summer" is performed.

A storm broke out. Almost visible streams of water falling from the sky, flashes of lightning.

But here is a thunderstorm;

Seething streams from steep heights overthrowing the valleys,

The roar rages on uncompressed fields.

The third part of the concert "Summer" is performed.

The days are getting shorter, the suffocating heat has receded, and it is raining more and more often. Autumn has come. Invigorating Invigorating spirit and clear weather.

Gardens and groves in autumn decoration,

Meet the golden season.

It's a bit sad, but also a great time of the year. Its beauty has always been admired by poets, musicians and artists. An artist has colors to paint a picture, a poet has words, a composer has only sounds. But they can perfectly draw, just as P.I. Tchaikovsky does. "Autumn Song" is how the month of October was called in his "Seasons". October is the real autumn. Not early, splendidly dressed and smart, but another, the one we call

late autumn. Late autumn is good in its own way. Somehow you especially feel freedom in the deserted fields, among the naked forest. Nothing interferes with the view - the elegant veils were asleep, and vast distances were open to us. Nature has focused on itself. She seems to be deep in thought. The researcher of P.I. Tchaikovsky’s work Kaigorodov said about the composer: “Tchaikovsky had a surprisingly strong, one might say, phenomenal sense of nature. I know of no other example of a person who would so strongly perceive the impressions of the colors of nature and react to them so strongly. It is not enough to say that P.I. Tchaikovsky passionately loved nature – he adored it.” It is this love for native nature that makes the composer's work so close and understandable to every Russian person. Performed "Autumn Song" from the cycle "The Seasons" by P.I. Tchaikovsky. If Tchaikovsky painted autumn pensive and sad, then A. Vivaldi depicted this season in the concert “Autumn” as a harvest festival. "Dance and Song of the Peasants" - this is the author's remark at the beginning of the first part.

Noisy peasant harvest festival. Fun, laughter, fervent songs ringing! The first part of the concert "Autumn" from the cycle "The Seasons" by A. Vivaldi is performed.

The fields were empty, the last leaves flew from the trees, the birds fell silent, the first frosts came, the first snow fell - winter came. “Winter Morning”, a piano piece from the cycle “Children's Album” by P.I. Tchaikovsky, is one of the most remarkable musical landscapes of the composer. The nature of the music very accurately conveys the picture of an unfriendly winter morning with heavy clouds floating across an overcast sky. The play "Winter Morning" is performed. We bring to your attention another musical picture "Winter" from the cycle "Album for Youth" by R. Schumann, the greatest master of piano miniatures. The play "Winter" is performed. Perhaps the most popular and recognizable piece of classical music is the concerto "Winter" from the cycle "The Seasons" by A. Vivaldi. The first part of the concert conveys a picture of the winter cold.

A frosty surface spreads the road,

And a man with cold feet

Trampling the path, chattering teeth,

Runs to keep warm.

Like all the concertos of this cycle, the music of "Winter" has a programmatic pictorial character, exactly following the text of the sonnet. The first part of the concert "Winter" from the cycle "Seasons" is performed. The third part of the concert is optimistic.

In the winter expanse, the people rejoice.

Fell, slipped, and rolls again,

And it's joyful to hear how the ice is cut

Under a sharp ridge that is bound with iron.

Hard winter, but the joy of the moment

Sometimes they soften her stern face. Performed the third part of the concert "Winter" by A. Vivaldi.

Music gives both children and parents the joy of joint creativity, saturates our lives with vivid impressions. To do this, it would be good to create a music library from records of classics, children's songs, music from cartoons, dance, march melodies. The baby can be invited to dance or march to rhythmic music, together or in company with a toy - or maybe watch how mom dances.

And it is not necessary to have a musical education to help your child hear music. To begin with, we must remember that music begins with silence. Walking through the forest or park, listen and pay attention to the way the birds sing, the leaves rustle, the water flows in the stream. Music also sounds in the songs of rain, wind, floating on the river of ice, in the dances of snowflakes and falling leaves ... Then offer the child the game “What does it look like?” When the child tries to guess what he hears in the music: the rustle of rain, the singing of birds, the gait of different animals ... Such program works as "The Seasons" by P. I. Tchaikovsky, A. Vivaldi are very suitable for this game. Plays that do not have an explicit plot are good in their own way because over time the child will be able to come up with any story for them with the most amazing adventures and even draw a picture for it. Listen to children's music with your child (classical for children, musical fairy tales, children's songs). Favorite music can quietly sound like a background during home activities, for example, while drawing, sculpting, reading fairy tales; can serve as an invitation to the table, lullabies. But, in no case should the baby be overloaded with music, tired. It should be fun, and not turn into annoying noise.

Gradually, the child gets used to life to the music - and to very good music. He begins to distinguish shades and beauty of melodies. His world becomes richer, and his feelings become thinner.

Many kids with their parents begin to attend musical theaters, concerts, master the buttons of the music center and begin to put CDs on their own.

Then you can arrange a beautiful home concert: put off all your business, dress smartly, turn off the overhead light, light candles, lights on the Christmas tree on New Year's Eve, and with the whole family, silently listen to some classical work, sitting comfortably in armchairs. And what happiness it gives to kids who love ballet very much to dance in front of their loved ones in a theatrical costume, a ballet tutu to the music from Swan Lake!

It would be great if live music sounded in the house during the holidays, that is, one of the adults played at least simple melodies on the piano, guitar, accordion, violin or flute. You can organize a home orchestra from children's musical instruments of purchased and home-made toys, and accompany them with recordings of children's songs, various dance and march tunes. Reading poetry, fairy tales can also be accompanied by playing musical instruments.

It's very exciting and interesting! Children look forward to such holidays with special impatience, and memories of them sometimes carry through their lives.

HOLDING A LESSON
- Through the use of tools, the story or fairy tale should become more interesting and vivid.
- The story should not be overloaded with sound effects, the story itself should remain in the first place, and not the playing of the instruments.
- Check the sound of percussion instruments, find the sound effect you need.
- If you do not have the necessary musical instruments at home, pick up suitable sounding substitute objects for the game.
- Before the lesson, you can offer the child, taking into account his ability to check the sound of instruments or his deputies.
- Provide a supportive, calm environment for the lesson, so that both your story and the noise design will impress the children.
- During the performance, use gestures and facial expressions, speak slowly and expressively, pause.
During the story, look children in the eyes more often.
- Playing the instrument should sound in pauses, illustrating the text.
- Pick up the instrument only for playing and then put it aside.
- The instrument must sound out before you continue the story.
- Encourage children to play instruments. The introduction can be prompted by a glance, a gesture, or a prearranged signal.
- With facial expressions and gestures, you can tell children the volume and speed of the game. It is better not to interrupt the child's play unnecessarily.
- An adult must prepare instructions for playing the instruments in advance, but at the same time be ready to support the unplanned entry of the child, his creative initiative of the children, the ideas of the children.
- You should think carefully about the ending of the stories. Strive to make it bright, original. If possible, children should be allowed to complete the story on their own with appropriate sound design.
- Children should gradually memorize the names of instruments, recognize them by ear, and from the age of 4, with the help of an adult, learn to compare and characterize the sound of familiar instruments.
- Teach children how to handle tools with care. After class, put the tools in place with the children.

Hello! Lately I've been more involved with my band and I've run into some problems organizing gigs. It turns out that when you have a band that can perform at least every day, there are other difficulties. I will tell you about these difficulties and how to deal with them in this short article.

So. The hardest part is over. You have assembled a great team, you easily find a common language with your classmates and together you manage to make cool music. You are rushing and not only you notice it. Great. I must say that only a few reach this stage. Most of them merge along the way: they don’t find musicians, they get tired of starting all over again, they give up music, give up concerts, fuck themselves and those around them for nothing, and so on.

The first way is to sit straight on the priest.

Another 90% of the remaining survivors go this way. This is a great strategy if your plans do not include conquering the world and the Olimpiysky sports complex packed to capacity. I cannot judge such people. Leadership is not for everyone. Eggs are different for everyone. Some have steel, some have papier-mâché. That is why not everyone is able to start their own business and devote their lives to it, preferring to work at work until retirement, where you will face the inevitable collapse of hopes and ambitions, the ultimate drop in your own standard of living and, in general, sheer disappointment in the chosen life path. Well, okay, this is all from another article, maybe someday later I will bore on this topic with broader strokes.

Why is the option of sitting on the priest exactly bad? And nothing is bad. Everything is as always - that is, nothing. You have a group, it even seems to be doing something, performing somewhere and sometime, waiting to be invited, fed, watered and put to bed. It doesn't matter if you have records or not. One cynical uncle with a dark past in show business once told me that "nobody just needs songs." And no matter how painfully it beat on pride, I have to agree with him. Even if you have 100% hit, it's not enough. We need a legend, we need a bright image, we need PR, otherwise everything is decay.

Decay is when you are not serious about your music and are not willing to risk everything for it. If you sit and wait for someone to call you to play a concert, you have nothing to live for. Kill yourself and your lazy musicians, make room on the stage for more active guys :) Ok, I didn't mean those for whom music is just a hobby, but the article is not about them either.

Path number 2 is the path of the Jedi.

You have sat enough on your sides in anticipation of a miracle and have already managed to grow fat and gain some immobility and sluggishness in your actions and decisions. Well, the good news is that you are ready to change. As they say, the maggot realized. We take ourselves by the crown and begin to methodically pull out of our own cozy swamp.

We pass to the main thing.

How to make a concert for your band.

Here is your action plan:

  1. We are compiling a list of all clubs, bars, concert halls where you could theoretically organize your gig.
  2. We find contacts of art directors and organizers who work in these clubs/bars/restaurants, etc. We write letters to them or call them on the phone if they do not read letters. Find out the layout of the organization of the concert. If someone has trouble speaking and writing well, trust someone who doesn't let you down. You need to make the right impression first, and your first question shouldn't sound dumb. It would seem that simple logic, but logic, like literacy, is far from a universal trait.
  3. You have received answers to your questions. Someone sent you right away, someone asked "what kind of group is that?" drunken orgies stir up.

In case someone didn't understand me, the "percentage of input" scheme is the best for a beginning musical project. You bring n-th number of people to the concert, they buy tickets. Part of the proceeds from ticket sales is taken by the club, the rest is yours. Of course, the club still earns from the bar. The more a club makes from a bar, the happier their art director is and the more they want to communicate with you in the future. So, the drinking public is good, no matter how blasphemous it may sound.

  1. We supplement our plate with contacts and addresses with information on layouts and prices / conditions. How come you haven't got that sign yet? I'm annoyed.

It is useless to ask if it is possible to hold a concert tomorrow. Specify at least a month ahead, preferably 1.5-2. If the site is large - six months ahead. But most likely, this is not your scale yet, so don't worry. When it's their turn, they will call you.

What you will inevitably encounter at the stage of collecting information:

  1. Some clubs will refuse you under the pretext of "not the format of our institution", which in fact is complete garbage. There is no such thing as "house format", there is money or losses that you can bring to the club. If your group doesn't have a name (=the art director hasn't heard of you) and you're potentially unprofitable for the club, they'll tell you "goodbye" at the very first stage of communication with them. Sadly. I encountered this when organizing concerts for my gang. But this is no reason to despair. And that's why.
  2. Some clubs will offer you to speak on their terms. Someone will give you an evening for a solo concert, and someone may offer to participate in another hodgepodge. Some clubs make concerts themselves and recruit groups for the evening themselves. There are clubs without a name, new establishments that have not yet formed an audience and they grab every opportunity to earn money. You need to work with such establishments. This benefits both you and them. It is useless for a small group to rent the Olympic sports complex if three friends and a couple of family members come to the concert. An equal cooperates with an equal. A simple rule that is generally useful to know and repeat to yourself more often in life.

In any case, you must understand 2 simple things

  1. Your group is your business. If you're not ready to start treating your music like a business, re-read the point about hitting yourself against the wall.
  2. For the club, your performance is their business. They have no euphoria and tenderness from your creative impulses and never will. There is only a dry balance - the box office after the end of the event. There is money in the cash register - everything is ok. A lot of money - zashib. Is the club gone? You didn't bring guests? They paid the bartender/waiter/sound engineer/cleaner/security guard. And you stupidly didn’t even work to zero? What conclusion will the art director of the club make. Right. He doesn't want to work with you anymore. Standing on the carpet at the owner of the establishment, he will report for your fakap, which became his fakap, which became the fakap of the establishment and put the owner on the loot. The law of communicating vessels.

Welcome to the entertainment industry!

Yes, I almost forgot about the hodgepodge. There are quite a few such events. they are concerts for 4-7 groups, sometimes more. Everything happens in complete turmoil, it is impossible to adjust the sound, to make a proper impression on the audience with your performance - even more so. The organizers of such festivals often sell tickets to the bands themselves so that they can distribute them further. In general, this is the most pioneering, most terrible option. It is bad because no one here has professionalism, neither the bands, nor the organizers, nor the sound engineer. Everything is complete schoolboy. The output from such events is zero. They do nothing for the image. Attracting a new audience? Doubtful. I have a bad idea of a person who will trample on such a fest. What for? Drink beer? Therefore, I simply do not consider the option of school matinees, and I immediately send such grief organizers away or put a barrage price on our performance. Questions disappear by themselves.

Learn to be professional. Learn to run your own gigs. Learn to put on your show and keep the listener in suspense. This is much more important than performing in front of a crowd of teenagers who don't care about you. Be very selective about these activities. I won't say they all suck, but for the most part they do.

Concert for 1-2-3 groups is ok. More than 3 is overkill. Or is it already an open-air festival like Invasion. That is, not yet our format.

So, you have beaten out a date for your SAMI performance. And now the fun begins.

How to fill the hall with people?

You make a poster, make events on facebook and vkontakte, spam all your friends with a message about the upcoming wonderful gig. And you watch how many people express a desire to go to the concert, some part will say "maybe". Most will not care about your concert. A great test of your friends' loyalty.

At this stage, I stop my story, because. I can not give any recommendations about PR events, so far this topic has not been disclosed by me. This is what I've been thinking about the most lately. It is not possible to experiment so often, because. it makes no sense to perform more than once a month, people quickly get tired of your music, and access to a new audience is a difficult thing. If you have any thoughts on this - share in the comments, I will be happy to discuss with you ways to expand the fan base and attract a new audience to my work.

If you think in economic terms, then your group is a new brand that you are promoting to the market. The brand must give the consumer some value so that he wants to buy it. Here a lot of questions arise about the formation of the image, naming (yeah, how you called the group is very important), a unique selling proposition. This also includes work on brand awareness, promotional campaigns, content creation, content promotion. Your content is music, videos, photos and interviews. This also includes direct advertising (posters, flyers, Internet (ppc, smm)) etc. As you can see, this is a rather serious game and, in general, quite expensive. There must be guerrilla methods that will allow you to take the first steps before you break even (break even, break even). What works and what doesn't, you can only learn from your own experience and mistakes. No one wants to burn chips.

I read a lot of articles about the music business. And by and large they are all about nothing. And here's why: a certain undeserved aura of exclusivity and unusualness is attributed to this business. But in fact - the same eggs, only in profile. You are the artist, you are the product. You are responsible for the quality of the product, but in order for it to be bought, it must be promoted. And this is all in textbooks on economics, management and marketing, just in a little different words. There are two ways - to work on demand and to be a group of "Ivanushki". They earn ok, but the music is complete shit. + Such projects have a high monetary threshold for entering the market. In other words, you need to swell a lot of money into promotion at the first stage so that it goes. The second way is to create your brand and your trend little by little. The way of Steve Jobs. The path is difficult and life may not be enough. This is the path of creative people. If craft is more important to you, just sell yourself to the producer. Just be prepared that he will choose from hundreds of people just like you. And you may not be the most genetically valuable material.

Respect for reading and patience :) Music is cool. Creating a group is just the beginning.

I don’t know how everything happens in the big cities of our country. I myself am from Petrozavodsk. The Internet is a good mover in this matter, as I think! It all depends on what expanses the group wants to cover ... In the sense of performing in Europe in Russia or somewhere else. ..I'll just express my ideas on this topic... It makes sense to write not only demos, singles, but also videos. of the available repertoire, select a stage image and pump it up, as if you did it at a concert. At the same time, try to show directorial talent based on your concept as a whole or turn to someone for help so that it is filmed with soul. After all, for sure, through acquaintances there will be a photographer who can shoot well and he will turn out to be someone’s acquaintance and he will be interested, especially if he didn’t shoot like that and this experience will be for him and mutual assistance is obtained, it is also possible to move with a video operator. In our circle, for example there are such people, thank God. Of course, not for free, but for a democratic price, since people have experience shooting. Yes, it will not be a super duper clip like in popular bands, but it can be done in an acceptable underground quality. And it will be small but a movement that can shoot hard. It all depends on how competently it is to work it all out. It's the same with singles, demos. And post the so-called product on YouTube on social networks wherever possible. This is a very good help! Regarding concerts. The best thing is to get to open for a well-known band, you may have to pay, but it all depends on situations, but you can consider it as an option! Or a concert with two or three unknown bands and a headliner (It also makes sense to participate in incomprehensible hodgepodges only somewhere at the beginning, at the end it will be all shit who plays what, someone gets drunk, and someone gets bored, because, for example, comrades played before you so that the ears could not stand this mockery). It makes sense to make a banner of a small size with the name and logo of the group and hang it over the drum kit or in another place visible to everyone during your performance, if the organizer allows it, of course. If you have to your music to anyone's taste, so as not to ask the question - "What kind of group is this?" The problem with the sound along the way is not only with us at PTZ, but in St. Petersburg, according to my friends, musicians who went to perform in St. Petersburg Clubs. I don’t know how it is. Not everyone has the opportunity to carry a backline with them, and most do not have it yet. ..But it also cannot always save the situation. But a greater percentage of the fact that you will nevertheless stand out from the rest of the participants and this will attract the attention of the listener. that he doesn’t need to do anything). Or carry a floor preamp with you, which will save the situation a little ....

I'm trying my hand at promoting a very successful music project and looking for all the information that pertains to it :) Your article shed some light on some remaining questions :)

Maxim, thank you. Much of your article was already clear to me, but I found something useful for myself.

Maxim, thanks. You had to answer, you can understand.)))

Interesting article, thanks. He drew attention to ".. and together you manage to make cool music.". And how are you convinced of the coolness of your music? Since the early 2000s, to my ears, no one worthy has appeared. In addition, there is a feeling that all niches are occupied, and simply no one wants to deal with young people, and it’s good without them. It remains to be patient.

Still, promotion is promotion, and the quality of the material should be very good. Sadly, on our stage, listenable bands can be counted on the fingers, and those who want to listen to, and even less. And these bands, at best, spend part of their performances abroad, at worst, they stop playing. So, in my opinion, there are two ways: - find a local niche and squeeze all the juice out of it by promotion, image and other non-musical means, while there may be earnings, since the audience will be large here; - be critical of your own music, compare it with foreign music, and ask yourself more often whether you would listen to such music yourself, whether something outstanding or another passing material has really been created. In the second case, with positive answers to all questions, the main thing is to ensure maximum accessibility of the material. As for concert hodgepodges (as it happens in Moscow), I agree. They are only suitable for training to perform on stage in bad conditions. But thematic fests attended by the right audience can be a good intermediate step on the way to their own solo concerts.

Intra-group psychology of interpersonal relations, PR, marketing of the pop industry is of course interesting .. But damn it - boring). I thought something when I saw the headline) - That your store ORGANIZES A MEETING-PARTY-CONCERT OF ITS BUYERS!. Where will you play and buyers and in general - We will all have a "club" and a club meeting) - that would be interesting) I would pay for the ticket with pleasure)

I agree with the article, but only partially. Firstly, maybe what was described is suitable for Moscow or St. Petersburg, but since I live on a happy periphery in the city of Krasnoyarsk, such a promotion format will be VERY difficult for us. Of all the groups in our city, only 2 groups can be singled out, which really took the path of solo concerts and image promotion and achieved some kind of recognition. However, the fact remains that for the most part, over the years of existence, they spend more money on music than they earn from it. Secondly, in our city there is only 1 (with a population of a million) club, which constantly hosts concerts of groups playing their own music. Everything else is taverns for labukhs and 90% of musicians make money from this. From time to time there are concerts like Emerjanza or fests, as described in the "hodgepodge" article, but they are wildly cool and the most seasoned bands tend to play there. Therefore, I consider the feature about "not playing hodgepodges" to be ineffective, since the market will always dictate its conditions, and in these conditions you need to perform at every opportunity, ESPECIALLY if it's a cool fest even with 10 bands. And most importantly: I have never seen a single group that plays its own material and that starts earning money from the first concerts, also giving solo albums. To make solo albums in clubs, and even to be visited when you are not known to anyone except your friends, is simply unrealistic. The only way out for this option is to rent a club at your own expense, make advertising at your own expense, pay for small expenses at your own expense, pay for the filming of the performance and parties at your own expense, and everything else ... naturally at your own expense.
