There are only a few hours left before The Grand Final of the most popular Eurovision song contest - on Saturday, the winners of the first and second semi-finals of Eurovision 2018, as well as representatives of six countries, will gather at the Altice Arena in Lisbon.

These six countries are permanent participants in the competition - Great Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Portugal as last year's winner.

The winners of the first semi-final, which took place on May 8, were the representatives of Israel, Estonia, Czech Republic, Austria, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Albania, Finland, Ireland and Lithuania.

The second semi-final revealed ten more finalists. These are Serbia, Moldova, Hungary, Ukraine, Sweden, Australia, Norway, Denmark, Slovenia and Holland.

Unfortunately, the Georgian ethno-jazz band Iriao failed to reach the final. For the first time, since 2007, the representatives of Georgia performed at Eurovision a song in their native language "შენი გულისთვის" (For your heart, For you).

The representative of Russia, Yulia Samoilova, also did not reach the final of the competition with the song "I won't break", which fought for a ticket to the final in the second semi-final along with 17 contestants, including the Iriao band.

The broadcast of the final performance of the Eurovision participants in Lisbon will begin at 23:00 Tbilisi time.

"Eurovision" for the first time takes place in the capital of Portugal thanks to the victory of the contestant Salvador Sobral with the song Amar pelos dois at the contest last year, which was held in Kyiv. The slogan for this year's competition is "All aboard!" (All Aboard!)

The second semi-final of Eurovision ended in Lisbon. Another 18 artists performed on the stage of the Altis Arena in the Portuguese capital. And only 10 of them got a chance to go further.

Perhaps the most emotional and touching was the performance of our Yulia Samoilova. She conquered everyone with the warmth of the words of her song, sincerity and incredible beauty of the number. But according to the results of voting, alas, it did not make it to the final.

Perhaps it was the most emotional performance of the second semi-final of Eurovision. Yulia Samoilova sang about fortitude, her voice warmed the hearts and gave hope, and from the soul-stirring dance of the young Eldar and Nastya, one wanted to hold one's breath and just look at this magic.

The moment that Yulia Samoilova so dreamed of - her song I Won "t Break sounds on the Eurovision stage. Thousands of people at the stadium and millions of viewers at the screens applaud her. She gave it all 100 percent, but according to the results of the voting of the jury and viewers, the participant from Russia does not make it to the final.Well, it happens.Julia can no longer hold back her emotions.

“Everything was like a dream. Honestly, I thought we'd make it to the final. Of course, I didn’t count on winning ... I am grateful to fate for this, ”said Yulia Samoilova.

Together with Yulia's team, the organizers of Eurovision enter her dressing room: Yulia is their favorite.

By the way, Eurovision fans from other countries also supported our Yulia. They did not disperse for a long time after the semi-finals.

“I came here from Argentina to support Russia! I love this country, Eurovision and Yulia very much, ”admitted one of the spectators.

“Eurovision is a big roulette. Yulia's performance was the brightest and most interesting during the entire rehearsal process. This I can say absolutely responsibly, because I have been inside this process all this time. She did everything she could. Well done!" - said the chief producer of music and entertainment programs of Channel One Yuri Aksyuta.

And yet the show goes on. This year's Eurovision has strong participants like never before. Not without reason, even the forecasts of bookmakers are changing at a rapid pace. The Israeli Netta was unexpectedly displaced by the beauty Eleni from Cyprus, and a little later Alexander Rybak, representing Norway, was called the favorite.

With the song My Lucky Day, the wards of Philip Kirkorov, the group DoReDos from Moldova, also reached the final.

“It's just amazing! Thanks to everyone who voted for us! Thanks to Russia for its support. I am sure that the Russians supported Moldova,” said the members of the DoReDos group and Philip Kirkorov.

The brutal guys from Denmark were so happy about reaching the final that right during the interview they began to perform the Viking dance.

“Even Vikings get nervous sometimes. It's unbearable to sit there and wait, you won't get through,” admits Jonas Rasmussen.

The Eurovision final will be held in Lisbon tomorrow, May 12. You can try as much as you like to guess who will win, but nevertheless, it is not in vain that for 63 years Eurovision has remained the most unpredictable song contest. Only one thing is known for sure: a musical battle of grandiose scale and beauty awaits us.

We will see the Eurovision final this Saturday, May 12, at 22:00. Channel One will start broadcasting live from Lisbon. The denouement of the musical marathon and the name of the winner is very soon! Do not miss!

On Thursday, May 10, the second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest took place on the stage of the Altis Arena in Lisbon.

The representatives of Romania, San Marino, Georgia, Poland, Malta, Latvia and Montenegro failed to get enough votes.

Also, the participant from Russia Yulia Samoilova, who performed the song I Won’t Break (“You Can’t Break Me”), was not among the finalists.

Room and scenery

Samoilova performed with the support of a team of backing vocalists and dancers of the Todes show-ballet Ildar Gainutdinov and Anastasia Dzhurkina, who embodied the images of Adam and Eve on stage. The singer herself was at the top of the scenery, resembling a mountain.

As director-producer Alexei Golubev told RIA Novosti, it was very difficult to prepare this number.

“Within 30 seconds, we have to take the scenery to the stage, lay it out. It must be fixed very clearly so that the projection hits these points ... There is a very good organization on the backstage, the whole team works very professionally. They deal with our challenges. We have everything alive,” he said.

According to Golubev, each new run is different due to the emotions of all its participants.

“At the second rehearsal, we worked on the acting component. Julia gave out such an emotion that I wanted to run away, climb this mountain and kiss it, because this is what should keep the viewer, ”the director emphasized.

The same team that prepared the song Flame is Burning for Eurovision in Kyiv worked on the creation of the composition I Won't Break: Netta Nimrodi, Leonid Gutkin and Arie Burshtein.

"The song is absolutely no"

According to some viewers, Russia should have chosen a different song to perform at Eurovision.

However, the audience was most outraged by the episode when the singer fell silent during the song and the voices of the backing vocalists came to the fore.

“Samoilova didn’t sing at all. Well, nothing at all ... I remember her performance at the Olympics, I cried. Julia just burned out, in my opinion, ”emphasizes another user of social networks.

Today, May 8, the first semi-final of Eurovision-2018 took place in Lisbon. Spectators around the world have already managed to evaluate the video of the performances of the participants, but we are pleased to publish the video of the performances of the finalists after the first Eurovision final.

Today will be the second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Lisbon. The representative of Belarus, Ukrainian singer Nikita Alekseev, has already finished participating in it, but we can cheer for Alexander Rybak, a great friend of all Belarusians. Moreover, the forecasts of bookmakers and journalists are very optimistic. With the support of Huawei, we attended the dress rehearsal and made our top ten finalists. Let's go in order.

Alexander Rybak (Norway)

Sasha Rybak perfectly plays on the feelings of those who remember the distant year 2009 and a guy with a crazy look, a sonorous voice and a song about a fairy tale. This time the song is not so bright, but the competition quite allows it. The Norwegian starts by playing an impromptu violin, then moves on to the piano, then to the guitar, and on TV screens the number will look very nice due to animation. It seems that Rybak has fully felt the tendency of the Eurovision audience towards theatrical sincerity and is making the most of it. The crazy look is the same, the violin is in place, the song sounds nice and pleasant. 9 out of 10

Benjamin Ingrosso (Sweden)

You will hear a song and see a number that exude European tolerance. Seriously, forget about the Irish O "Shaughnessy and the dancing boys. Benjamin Ingrosso's number is a happy eighties, fashion styling, languid falsetto on the backs, after which you instantly imagine the twilight of a disco club and serious men in short shorts that barely perceptibly touch each other hips In general, very conceptual and opportunistic. 7 out of 10

Melovin (Ukraine)

The neighboring country in its musical delights has long reached some cosmic level for Eastern Europe. Belarus quietly keeps quiet, and even Russia looks with envy at the Ukrainian market: no one has so many cool artists in the Russian-speaking space. Melovin brought to Portugal a beautiful number with a vampire piano and the maximum amount of "o-o-o" and "e-e-e" in the composition. Old and formulaic, but still works. Moreover, the singer's data is excellent, and the song is not the worst with all its clichés. 7 out of 10

DoReDos (Moldova)

Moldova shot last year and really deserved the highest marks: this saxophone became the strongest place in the competition in Kyiv. Moldovans arrived in Lisbon with the maximum assistance of Philip Kirkorov. Blue Phil gives out interviews much more often in the capital of Portugal and generally looks like the owner of these guys. At the same time, the song, which smells of Kusturica and the stolen horse, is really bright and cheerful. And there is also a funny and surreal number - in this weak semi-final, such a set is quite enough. 7 out of 10

Rasmussen (Denmark)

Lumbersexual bearded men from Denmark look like they're about to play some of the fiercest metal in the history of the song contest. The imitation of drakkars on stage also seems to hint at this. In fact, this is a Viking-pop number with scenography that can be learned in the senior nursery group. However, the song sounds heartfelt and professional: these guys know how to sing and their beards are beautiful. 6 out of 10

Gromee and Lukas Mayer (Poland)

Poland this year brought a wildly formulaic number to Eurovision. You will surely hear such a song at any gathering of trance DJs in some large and crowded place. That is, the track is designed for maximum mass and minimum originality. It's just that the foot taps out the rhythm, and the hand goes to the side, parting the clouds and cutting through the sea wave. In general, the composition is made with an undisguised bet on the conjuncture. And this, with a competent approach, works (the Poles have a competent approach). 6 out of 10

AWS (Hungary)

The Hungarians came to Lisbon with loud guitars and the song Goodbye Summer. This is a very pop number, but for people who seriously believe that such guitar music is still unformatted, it will be quite an amazing phenomenon at the competition. That is, due to the dubious outrageousness, the AWS group may well be in the final. However, we know that Pertti Kurikan Nimipäivät is the best thing that happened to Eurovision. 5 out of 10

Iriao (Georgia)

Musically, it was the strongest number in the two competitive days. The Georgians brought to Lisbon a completely academic and authentic number, which combines jazz and ethnic traditions well. It's boring for Eurovision, but the non-format even here sometimes shoots in some strange way. At least until the final Iriao should be enough. Well, there, of course, no chance. 5 out of 10
