Popular TV projects. The most interesting programs: rating, list of the best, description and reviews

13.07.2019

For some reason, television games turned out to be almost the only genre in which Soviet television people were on an equal footing with their Western counterparts. Not in terms of the number of shows - it is difficult for one (to the same through the state) channel to compete with the developed industry of the USA and Britain - but in terms of the quality of the content. Certainly,

in favor were mostly ordinary contests like “Come on girls”, but they did not create glory in the international arena for domestic television.

In general, Western television producers at that time hardly looked back at what was happening behind the Iron Curtain. Games from ordinary life naturally appeared first on the radio, and in the late 30s they also came to the newborn television. The first such show was Spelling bee, a very popular game in English-speaking countries that requires the correct spelling of words (played at the national level, for example, by Lisa Simpson in one of the episodes of The Simpsons).

The real heyday was waiting for the TV game in the 50s - but along with scandals related to allegations of arbitrage and foul play, which eventually led to the almost complete disappearance (for a while, of course) of game shows and limiting the amount of possible winnings (this restriction is gone together with rising inflation).

Filmmakers, of course, could not pass by such a serious phenomenon -

and in 1994, when the passions subsided to a large extent, based on those events, the film "TV Show" was made with Ralph Fiennes.

Now, by the way, such situations, perhaps, are possible only in the cinema - the US courts in the late 50s and early 60s adopted laws that, if they do not completely exclude cheating, then reduce its probability to very small values. It is simply more beneficial to be honest.

Everything is fair

Alexander Maslyakov in the TV game "KVN"

First channel

There were no such problems in the USSR, especially at the very beginning of the 60s, when many new and, as it turned out, good programs appeared - they were on the air for a long time, and some are still on. In 1961, the Club of the Merry and Resourceful was launched - the direct successor to the show that was released back in 1957, on the first wave of the thaw, and then closed after an incident with the audience (they were asked to come to the studio in winter clothes in the summer to receive a prize) An evening of funny questions.

Wordplay was then in vogue, so the transformation of VVV into KVN (it was also one of the possible decodings of the name of the most common TV model of that time) was relatively painless.

Like other thematic programs of the early 60s (for example, "Health" or "Club of Travelers"), KVN quite took root on television and not only: the club gave rise to a whole movement among university students, comparable in popularity to student teams. And it was closed in 1972 - for reasons, as they say, far from creative, since the transmission potential was not fully realized. It was possible to correct this situation only in the late 80s, during Gorbachev's perestroika, when the revived KVN again began to lead.

Maslyakov was generally one of the most recognizable television personalities of that time - the 1986-1987 MKhTI team called him "the permanent presenter from the Middle Ages" (in fact, Maslyakov joined the program only in 1964).

Be that as it may, now KVN is an international empire, in which there are many teams (most of all from the countries of the former USSR), festivals and competitions.

Approximately the same path was taken by another television game of the Soviet era - the intellectual club “What? Where? When?".

Invented in the mid-1970s by Vladimir Voroshilov and Natalia Stetsenko, the TV game eventually turned into an international corporation, which also mainly covers the countries that appeared on the site of the former USSR. But there are differences - ChGK was never closed (after his death in 2001 he became the host), and the transmission format was sold, for example, to Turkey (the program has been released there since 2011) and to the USA (Million Dollar Mind Game was released on the channel in 2011 year and was closed after the first season - but not because it turned out to be bad).

It's all been on The Simpsons

Leonid Yakubovich in the capital show "Field of Miracles"

First channel

In the post-Soviet era, the production of original game shows practically disappeared - TV people were finally allowed to look at the rest of the world, where the game television industry flourished for decades, and choose from the proposed assortment, if not the best, but close to it.

However, for the first time it began at the very end of the 80s, when the USSR, although not in good health, still existed quite well. The captain of the already mentioned KVN team from MKhTI became the first of the new recruitment who eventually changed their profession - instead of a chemical technologist, he became a TV presenter. In 1989, he began hosting "Lucky Chance", the Western counterpart of which was the board game Trivial pursuit ("Race for the Leader") - a box with it was given to all participants in the program and generally promoted in every possible way to the Russian market of board games. “Lucky chance” lasted on the air of ORT (now -) for a surprisingly long time, until 2000, then it moved for a short while and was soon finally closed.

At about the same time as the "Lucky Chance", the "Field of Miracles" also spun its famous wheel.

Its first presenter was Vlad Listyev, who was responsible for many high-profile TV projects of the perestroika period - for example, he invented (or transferred to Russian soil), "Rush Hour" and the talk show "Theme". And if "Rush Hour" was copied from the show, then the model for "Field of Wonders" was the game "Wheel of Fortune" (Wheel of Fortune), also from the USA.

Quiz game "Own game"

NTV

The Western format was also used for the game "Who wants to be a millionaire?" (which originally came out as "Oh, lucky") - the basis for it was the British quiz Who Wants to Be a Millionaire ?, and for the Weak Link program (also British The Weakest Link), and for Own Game (American Jeopardy !), and for "One Hundred to One" (Family Feud). One of the few examples of their own game content in TV games of that time was the “Brain Ring”, invented by the creator of the ChGK Vladimir Voroshilov back in the early 80s, a team competition similar to “What? Where? When?".

In general, it is quite difficult to create an original entertainment game show now - it will definitely look like something that already exists; 80 years of experience practically guarantees this. And there is nothing wrong with the purchase of Western formats by domestic channels - in this way they avoid the risks of litigation, and the national features introduced during adaptation still turn various Wheels of Fortune into a truly domestic television product. What, for example, has become over the past 27 years, "Field of Miracles".

One of the show's most famous themes is paternity. As a rule, women declare men the fathers of their children, and men deny their own involvement in their appearance. In the video, we can see the reaction of men who are convinced that they are not fathers.

sex factor

On May 19, the show "The Sex Factor" started in the USA, the participants of which are fighting for the opportunity to become a porn star. 8 guys and 8 girls have never starred in adult films before, and all the necessary skills will be taught right on the set.

man vs beast

This show has been repeatedly criticized by both animal rights activists and humanists. In it, people try to confront animals in various competitions and almost always lose.

Who is your daddy?

Another show tied to the theme of fatherhood. The participant of the show does not know which of the six men is her biological father. If she guesses correctly, she will get $ 100 thousand, if not, the money will go to the one she chose.

Puke!

The contestants of the show compete by eating huge amounts of food and participating in a variety of sports. The winner is the one who vomits last.

naked dating

Quite an ordinary reality show about finding a couple with a small distinguishing feature: all participants in the program are undressed. Probably, in this form, building your love is much easier.

  • In the age of digital technologies, such a traditional business as searching for a bride or groom has also been modified: they are looking for loved ones in social networks, on dating sites, or in television programs. There are quite a few of these.

The television genre called reality shows has become a tool for choosing a bride or groom. We will talk about the show "The Bachelor" and 10 other programs where they fight for future spouses.

"Love at first sight" - the first, unforgettable

The RTR channel became the pioneer of the genre, releasing the Love at First Sight program in 1991. And yes, this "Love ..." was also invented by non-Russians: the license for it was bought from Action Time and the program "Love at First Sight" became the Russian analogue of the English TV game "Love at first sight".

    Game conditions

In the program, applicants for the hand and heart were sitting opposite each other: three girls and three guys. Question and answer, and soon they had to make their choice. If it matched and was mutual, the couple went on a date to a restaurant, where they needed to get to know each other as much as possible, because they had another stage of the game waiting for them. The super prize that was raffled off in the second part of the game was a romantic trip.

    Creators and presenters

The hosts of the Russian version were: the author of the script and the general producer of another program - “What? Where? When?" and the director of the TV game "Brain Ring" - Boris Kryuk and Alla Volkova, who later admitted in an interview that many generally believed that they were a couple in life. Of course, this was not so - at that time Alla was divorced. After 8 years, the program closed, and the TV presenter married for the third time, this time to Igor Ivannikov, ex-soloist of the Doctor Watson group.

    Afterword

In March 2011, the program, with updated rules of the game, was released on MTV Russia. Film actor, ex-resident of the Comedy Club Tahir Mammadov and theater and film actress, singer Evelina Bledans became its new presenters. The difference of the program was that the dates of the participants took place in three stages. The main intensity of passions took place in the third stage, where, in case of an incorrect answer to the question of the presenters, the participant had to remove one thing from himself.

    "Blow Kiss"

On MTV Russia in 2005-2006 there was a show called "Kiss for Departure", hosted by Tutta Larsen. Viewers noted the similarity of the program with the program "Love at First Sight". Only here it was more difficult to determine the chosen one due to the fact that the hero could not see the participants, but only hear, touch, feel. Therefore, it was necessary to include all other senses and, of course, intuition.

Recall that the history of TV matchmaking began with an American reality show, which premiered in 2002 on ABC. For 18 seasons of the program, the couple created 11 finalists and their weddings were broadcast on the TV channel.

"Let's get married!" - seriously and permanently

The TV program "Let's Get Married" first aired on Channel One in July 2008. Nobody remembers that the actress Daria Volga hosted her first episodes, and only in October did Larisa Guzeeva take the reins of power. Assistance in choosing a partner is provided by the astrologer Vasilisa Volodina and a real modern matchmaker - Roza Sabitova

In 2008, on the set of this program, Roza Sabitova met her future husband, Yuri Andreev, but three years later their marriage broke up.

    Game conditions

For the hero of the program, whether it be a girl or a guy, three applicants are fighting. Each of them is given a certain time to make a lasting impression on the future spouse. You need to show off your talents and expect a “verdict”.

Show "Let's get married!" in various annual competitions, more than once it became the best entertainment project, while receiving TEFI figurines. Stars have repeatedly participated in the program, for example, Olga Buzova and Victoria Bonya, who, apparently, did not find their love on Dom-2, were looking for a groom, ballerina Anastasia Volochkova, singer Victoria Daineko.

Enrique Iglesias's brother, young singer and composer Nikolai Voronov, fashion designer Sergei Zverev, singer Shura, composer Viktor Chaika, Comedy club resident Timur Batrutdinov and even the most famous VIP procurer Pyotr Listerman acted as eminent suitors.

    Afterword

Despite the fact that the main age limit for participants is from 25 to 50 years old, there were exceptions to the program. So, for example, the oldest participant in the program, who was looking for a life partner, was 75 years old. 40-year-old women fought for him.

The youngest participant is a 13-year-old musician who was looking for the girl of his dreams on Valentine's Day. Although it is rather difficult for real people to enter a serious ordinary life, behind the format of a TV show, nevertheless, the producers of the program assure that more than 200 married couples have been created thanks to their program. And many of them have even had children.

There is a joke among viewers who caught the time of the Love at First Sight program: What is the difference between Let's Get Married and Love at First Sight? In Love at first sight, the participants were not offered marriage, but in Let's Get Married, only marriage is slipped!

    "Holidays in Mexico"

In 2011, the MTV channel launched the show "Vacation in Mexico", and in 2012 the second season of "Vacation in Mexico -2" took place.

It all started with the fact that in a luxurious villa, the MTV channel arranged an unforgettable vacation for 11 liberated young boys and girls.

    Game conditions

Each of them dreamed of basking in the sun longer and staying in this Mexican villa by the ocean. There was only one condition: pick a pair. Those who could not build a relationship left the Mexican paradise. In the final, the winner of the show got the main prize of 1 million rubles.

    Afterword

This show had it all: jealousy, betrayal, intrigue, alcohol parties, fights, and even sex under the sheets, recorded by night cameras.

Show "The Bachelor" - "the girls are standing, standing on the sidelines"

In this program, everything is turned upside down: ladies fight for their soul mate. Bachelors evaluate and choose.

    Game conditions

Girls try in every possible way to please a young unmarried man: they go on dates, advertise themselves, get rid of competitors. The main character spends time with the girls on the ship, villa, restaurant. At the end of each episode, the bachelor decides who should leave the show and who should stay. After the “selection” has been made and two girls have reached the final, the young man introduces them to their parents. Then, having made his choice, the bachelor offers his hand and heart to the "winner" of the show.

    Creators and presenters

The premiere of the first Russian season of the sensational show "The Bachelor", which was on a grand scale, in addition to Ukraine, in eight other countries of the world, took place on TNT in 2013.

    History and features

The first Russian bachelor was a famous footballer - Evgeny Levchenko, who played for the team of Ukraine, CSKA Moscow, for the Dutch and, finally, became a midfielder for the Australian club.

The creators of the Russian version of the reality show admitted that they were looking for a hero for a very long time, about a year. And there were more than 200 applicants for this role, very respectable and well-known. Among the many strict selection criteria was a mandatory interview with psychologists, and more than one.

It's funny that the girls did not know the name of the main character, but there were plenty of people who wanted to participate - 10 thousand girls dreamed of meeting “their bachelor” on the project, or rather, their future spouse.

And in the second season, their number increased to 25 thousand. And the enviable groom was a 27-year-old millionaire, the owner of a company for the construction and sale of luxury real estate -.

    Afterword

Most recently, on June 23, 2014, TNT began and, judging by the popularity of this program, there will be no less applicants. Among the questions of the questionnaire, the girls will have to honestly answer about bad habits, talk about their own talents, advantages and disadvantages, and also what is the main thing for her in a man?

"American Groom" - in the Russian manner

In 2013, the American Groom show was launched on the Pyatnitsa TV channel and hosted by the most famous Russian in the world, Katya Zharkova. The heroes of this program are located in a villa in Miami, USA.

    Game conditions

To four enviable American suitors of Russian origin, four participants came to this villa, for whom the men prepared difficult trials. According to the rules of the show, every week one of the girls left the project and another came in her place. In the final, the four grooms who decided on introduced their Russian chosen ones to their parents and made the final decision. If it was negative, the girl returned to Russia.

    Afterword

There are rumors that a second season will be launched this year, only it will be called "The Chinese Groom" and the characters will have the same origin as the title.
