Vitaly Gubarev's fairy tale "The Kingdom of Crooked Mirrors" describes the adventures of an ordinary girl Olya, who finds herself in a magical land. Unusual in this country is that crooked mirrors distort both the characters' characters and the fate of ordinary people. Yalo repeats her girlfriend in everything, and often behaves not very correctly, because Olya also allowed herself ugly deeds. What do you want from reflection. The mirror is always impartial. But gradually, looking at herself from the outside, Olya realizes that she behaved terribly. But she is not just a reflection, she is a person. Real, with its values and conscience. From that moment on, the girl behaves differently than her reflection.
What is the difference between Olya and Yalo

Olga, having divorced her husband in her youth, lived with her son Maxim in her parents' apartment in Kuzminki. She worked near the house - as an assistant to the head of a department in the district military registration and enlistment office.
While her parents were alive, Olga still held on, says Alexander Zykov. - How her mother, Maria Ivanovna, died, and her life, and the life of her son Maxim, went downhill.

Her face as an icon was chosen by the monk Peter from the Nikolo-Velikoretsky Monastery near Vyatka. It is unlikely that the pretty blue-eyed girl Olga Yukina at school knew that the short, puny Volodya Sobolev from the parallel class was drying over her. And Vladimir, having become Theodosius in monasticism, then - the monk Peter, choosing to serve God, carried this feeling through his whole life.
Could he have foreseen that, years later, fate would entrust him with the fate of ... Olya Yukina ?! It all started with the fact that a blonde 3-year-old girl, a parishioner mother, who died of cancer, was brought to the orphanage at the monastery. Monk Peter took the snub-nosed, chubby girl in his arms, and for some reason his heart ached ... So he walked with her for half an hour, he did not want to let the orphan go. Monk Peter adopted a girl. Until the age of 18, she lived with him at the monastery. Having married, she became a mother, and went with her husband to a parish in the Amur Region. And all the time she prayed for her namesake - Olya Yukina.

In the film, freeing the young mirror-maker Gurd, they boldly climbed to the Death Tower, took it by storm. And in life, death threw them into oblivion, when they were not even 60.
The film broke the fate of all Yukin. There is nothing to flirt with mirrors and the other world, says neighbor Lydia Petrovna, signing herself with a cross. - Neither Tanya nor Olya is no longer alive. So they went into the other world unbaptized. One son almost died. Neither Maxim nor Yulia have children.
Relatives stubbornly hid the place where the ashes of the twins rest.
