In six parks, citizens will be able to hear performances by foreign participants in the Spasskaya Tower International Military Music Festival, which will be held on Red Square from August 24 to September 2. On September 1, there will be concerts by military bands from the Netherlands, Great Britain, Italy, Switzerland and Monaco.

So, on the stage of the large amphitheater of Zaryadye Park, the most unusual participant of the festival, the Crescendo Bicycle Orchestra from the Netherlands, will perform. The musicians will be dressed in red and blue uniforms or in the national costumes of the town of Volendam. On the feet are traditional Dutch wooden clogs. The orchestra will play famous jazz compositions on percussion and wind instruments in arrangements specially designed for the orchestra.

In the Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve on Palace Square at the main entrance, the Imperial Youth Orchestra of Brentwood (Great Britain) will delight the citizens with the sounds of music. The team will present a number specially prepared for the festival, which is called "Claddah Dreams". Claddagh is an Irish village in County Galway, one of the oldest fishing villages in Ireland. In this place, the first Claddagh rings, famous far beyond the borders of the country, appeared in the form of a pair of hands holding a heart crowned with a crown. They symbolize love, friendship and fidelity. In their musical and dance performance, the team members will show the history of the appearance of the Claddagh rings.

Guests of the Kuzminki Park on the main stage in the central square will be able to enjoy the performance of the Carabinieri Orchestra of the Prince of the Principality of Monaco. Every day on the palace square of the capital of the principality there is a changing of the guard, which is performed by the guards to the musical accompaniment of the Carabinieri orchestra. The repertoire of the orchestra playing wind and drum instruments is wide - from patriotic compositions to jazz and compositions of world pop stars.

After the performance of the military band, the celebration of Knowledge Day in the park will continue. On the central square near the main stage, schoolchildren are invited to the quiz “How did you spend your summer”. In the Bauman Garden, guests will be treated to a performance by the Bersalieri orchestra from the Italian city of San Dona di Piave. The repertoire mainly consists of traditional Bersaglieri and patriotic compositions, which are performed exclusively on wind instruments. The orchestra members will perform military and ancient melodies, opera and folk songs, as well as hits of national and foreign pop music.

After the performance of the Bersaglieri orchestra, the townspeople will be able to visit the medieval festival. Guests will enjoy a reenactment of a medieval battle, the participants of which will be dressed in armor and armed with fake weapons - maces, halberds, bows, axes and swords. All attributes are made according to historical patterns.

In addition, interesting workshops are waiting for adults and children. Ladies will be able to practice weaving wreaths, creating jewelry from wire and leather, and together with gentlemen they will be able to learn the basics of medieval dances. In addition, visitors will be able to visit the alchemy zone at the festival and learn how to create cosmetics from natural ingredients. The evening will end with a concert of musical groups playing in the style of folk-rock.

And in the park of the Vorontsovo estate, on the Day of Knowledge, a children's festival will be held, where master classes, an interactive program and a concert will await young guests.
