Alexey Glyzin is a singer who gave us a huge number of wonderful songs. The performer has become a true legend of his generation, and therefore many of the compositions of this pop artist have received cult status.

Today, the singer does not perform so often and gives his free time not to the stage and show programs, as it was a dozen years ago, but to his personal life. The biography of Alexei Glyzin is extraordinary, rich and interesting. So there is something to tell here, especially since the singer willingly shares his successes, failures and other life ups and downs in his interviews.

Childhood and youth

The biography of Alexei Glyzin began in the city of Mytishchi on January 13, 1954. The artist's mom and dad were simple workers, but they had a great love for creativity and music as well. They broke up when the future singer was 4 years old. Nevertheless, both parents unanimously decided that Alexey Glyzin (photo below) would study at a local music school.

There he began to comprehend the basics of vocal art and the intricacies of playing the piano. The singer's mother, along with his grandmother, encouraged and supported his musical endeavors in every possible way. In numerous interviews, the artist mentioned more than once that the Glyzins often arranged impromptu home concerts, where everyone got their own role. So the young singer had no problems with the audience.

Student years

The next stage in the biography of Alexei Glyzin is admission, oddly enough, to the radio engineering college. Yes, the artist did not immediately choose a professional pop direction.

After graduating from a music school in guitar and piano, Alexey marked a more trivial track for himself. The reason for this was the close friends of the future artist, who decided, as they say, to enter the technical school en masse, taking Glyzin with them. Although he was tormented by doubts, he nevertheless succumbed to persuasion.

But after three years of study, a turning point came in the biography of Alexei Glyzin. He still did not want to get into the usual work rut and ignored the distribution after the technical school, deciding to take up music. And at the same time, work a little.

Alexey got into a small band in his own place in Mytishchi and acted as a keyboardist and guitarist. After working with the group for some time, he decided to consolidate and continue his musical education by entering the Tambov Music College. The artist graduated in absentia and began to look closely at the capital's educational institutions.

Three years after graduating from the Tambov Music College, Alexei entered the Moscow Institute of Culture in the pop and wind department. After three courses, Glyzin was drafted into the army. The singer got into the aviation unit, which was located in the Far East.

Army

At first, the artist was in great despondency, because he was torn away from his chosen vocation - music. But after a year of service, the command accidentally found out about his talents and approved the decision to transfer him to a music platoon.

The singer's fans are sure that it was at this moment in the biography of Alexei Glyzin that his real creative career began. The musician has already founded his own group "Flight" and performed with him at almost all military holidays and concerts. The audience liked the work of the group, and the singer's career slowly began to gain momentum.

Career

For a very long time, Alexei gained experience in various musical groups. He managed to be a member of the legendary "Gems" and "Good fellows". A few years later and having gained experience over the years, the musician founded his own group "Fidelity". It was with her that he began to fully tour the Union.

In 1978, the already more or less famous singer left his group "Fidelity" and moved to the very promising band "Rhythm". The group accompanied the prima donna Alla Pugacheva, who was at the peak of her popularity, and the participants received very good money for concerts.

For a year of participation in the Rhythm team, Glyzin, together with Pugacheva, traveled to all the cities of the Soviet Union. At one of the mixed concerts, a bright and charismatic artist was noticed by Alexander Buinov, at that time the lead singer of the Cheerful Guys group. He offered Alexei to work in a team. The prima donna approved of such "treason" and became a kind of "godmother" of the future idol of youth.

"Funny boys"

Since 1979, the singer has become a full-fledged member of the popular Cheerful Guys group. And by the beginning of the 80s, the group's fame had reached sky-high heights. The participants traveled abroad for the first time, visiting Germany, Finland, Bulgaria and even Cuba.

"Jolly Fellows" enjoyed wild popularity, not only among the domestic audience, but also among Russian-speaking fans from neighboring countries. The team participated in almost every holiday concert and did not leave the blue screens.

Fans and journalists followed the band's musicians everywhere and everywhere, including Alexei Glyzin. The best songs of "Merry Fellows" still excite the audience at retro concerts: "Don't worry, aunt", "Cars", "Redheads are always lucky", "Rosita", etc. At all the discos of that time, they were always present in tracklist.

The team, and with it Glyzin, visited the popular festival "Yerevan 81", and also received many awards at the international competition, which was dedicated to pop music - "Bratislava Lira 85". In addition, "Merry Fellows" participated in the creation of the famous album "Banana Islands".

Scandals

One of the loudest scandals, which was abundantly covered by the press, was the group's performance in Leningrad in the early 80s. For the duration of the tour, the team was placed in a hotel, where he lived next door to a group from the United States.

Late in the evening, when the artists were celebrating another performance, the American drummer, in a fit of surging emotions, threw the TV out of the window. The height was decent, and besides, the hotel is quite noble. Fortunately, no one was hurt, but the incident made a lot of noise. Moreover, the journalists blamed Glyzin for everything.

After such a scandal, the singer was banned from entering the city for a long time. But these events, oddly enough, benefited Alexei. The artist was immediately invited to star in the films "She with a broom ..." and "Primorsky Boulevard". For them, he composed several songs.

In 1988, the musician finally matured for a solo career and left the Cheerful Guys team. For about two years, the singer gave concerts and participated in almost all more or less significant pop events in Russia.

Solo career

In the early 90s, the singer released his first solo album. Alexey Glyzin bore it for a long time, but the success of the Winter Garden exceeded all expectations, becoming a pop bestseller. It was thanks to him that such hits as “Ash of Love”, “You are not an angel” and “Winter Garden” itself appeared. At that time they sounded from every receiver. A little later, clips were shot for these songs with Alexei Glyzin in the title role.

In 1995, the musician released a new album - "Untrue". Among other compositions, the audience especially liked the song "My Love", which was written in collaboration with the same legendary performer Igor Talkov.

decline in popularity

Years passed, and by the beginning of the 21st century, the artist's popularity began to decline. New stars and new hits appeared on the stage. Nevertheless, Glyzin still has a loyal army of fans, whose youth is remembered for his work, closely intertwined with romantic memories. For them, he still works, albeit rarely, but still releases new songs.

In 2006, Alexei was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation. In addition to the stage, Glyzin visited all kinds of shows: “You are a superstar!”, “Tough games”, “Just the same” and others.

Personal life

The personal life of Alexei Glyzin, alas, did not develop in the best way. And the reason for this is its wild popularity in the 80s and 90s. With his first wife - Lyudmila - the singer met in his student years, before the military service. A friend waited for him from the army, after which they played a magnificent wedding in a capital hotel.

From this marriage, the singer has a son, Alexei, who was born in 1975. But a healthy family life was short-lived. Crowds of fans and constant trips around the Union did not combine in any way with the quiet and cloudless future of the family. During the tour, one of the persistent fans won the singer's heart, and the young Evgenia Gerasimova destroyed Glyzin's marriage, which was already bursting at the seams.

But the romance with the young beauty was short-lived. Evgenia was obsessed with a stellar career. Family comfort, and at the same time a strong family were far in the background. Later, Gerasimova left Alexei for Vyacheslov Makhrensky, who at that time was the guitarist of the Zemlyane band.

A few years later, Glyzin apologized to Lyudmila, but the ex-wife already had a different, rather happy family.

In 1989, the musician fell in love with the athlete Sanya Babiy (pictured above). She not only achieved good sports results, but also had an enviable beauty and charm. Subsequently, Sania organized a ballet group that performed at the singer's concerts. In the summer of 1992, they got married, and already in December of this year, their son Igor appeared.

The family life of the musician again went through stellar trials and with great difficulty withstood them. In 2012, Sania was ready to divorce because of her husband's infidelities, but the couple were able to overcome all the problems, and the family is alive to this day.

Singer Alexei Glyzin is divorcing his wife, having lived with her for 18 long years. It would seem that the story is banal: the wife was tired of numerous betrayals and her patience snapped. Therefore, she wants to sue half of the property, valued at more than 30 million rubles. As this thunder struck over the singer's head, ZhG tried to figure it out.

Was at Saltykova for the soul and for the bed

Sania Babiy (married Glyzina) is the second official wife of the singer. We met in Leningrad in the late 80s at the Sports Palace, where the performer of the hits "Winter Garden" and "You're Not an Angel" gave a concert, and in between the country's national rhythmic gymnastics team took the stage. Sonya, as her relatives now call her, was part of the “artists”.

“A pretty girl, thin, looked like 14 years old,” Glyzin later recalled, who at that time was 35.

Behind her marriage to the artist Lyudmila, the birth of a son, work in "Merry Fellows", when the group was mega-popular and had crowds of fans who were ready at any moment - just beckon - to communicate closely with idols. Of course, he walked and did not consider it necessary to hide it from his first wife, and therefore fled.

For several years, the artist lived alone, having short-lived romances, although he had serious feelings for Irina Saltykova. Later, the singer admitted that she had Lyosha “for the soul and for the bed,” but she was not going to get married - she hoped to meet a more promising businessman lover who was ready to invest in her solo promotion. And she succeeded.

Finally Glyzin met Sanya. They got married and had a son. Now Sonya draws all the years spent together with black paint. Like, she was sitting at home with a child, she only went to a hairdresser, spa, massage or fitness, leaving the baby with a nanny. And her husband traveled around the country. But he made good money. Somehow, on March 8, he brought home three fur coats, several hundred thousand rubles each. “I didn’t know which one you would like, I took everything,” Alexei said then to his wife.

Comforted Presnyakov's ex-wife

True, while providing the family with a comfortable life, Glyzin did not consider it shameful to rush to the left. Moreover, as in the first marriage, he did not conspire.

- Somehow Lyosha was on the air with me when I worked on the radio, - the actress, and in the past radio host Marina Kudelinskaya, told ZhG. - I found out that according to the horoscope he is Capricorn. She asked: “Probably you are walking from your wife?” It’s just that my ex-husband is also Capricorn, we had a difficult relationship, this is an extremely despotic sign. "Yes! Lyosha answered proudly. “What is it here?”

It is known that it was Glyzin who “consoled” designer Lena Lenskaya after her divorce from Vladimir Presnyakov Jr. And in one of several apartments of Alexei, the aspiring singer Sasha Antonova lived for quite a long time.

Yes, we are sleeping. The wife knows, but she is a wise woman and understands that a man is a polygamous being, the singer told reporters.

But everything that he earned, he carried to the family. Those material goods that he has did not fall from the sky, - a close friend of the artist, well-known producer Alexei Muskatin, expressed the male point of view ...
Now Glyzin is 56 years old. But the profession requires maintaining the image of a playboy, although in fact Glyzin's latest high-profile novels are just zilch.

- They thought that he had an affair with one of the soloists of my group "Diamond", it was a small PR move, - admitted producer Muskatin. - In fact, he treats the girls from the group like sisters, and the rest of the women - just like casual acquaintances.

Doesn't want to get divorced

It would seem that he had worked up, the wife now had to relax and enjoy in a quiet family haven. But then a young woman - and Sonya is only 35 - filed for divorce. One of two things: either she doesn’t need a husband without novels on the side, or she decided to secure the future of her child and not share anything with her husband’s illegitimate children. After all, their existence is very likely.

Her friend Oksana Pushkina has already found herself in such a situation. A little over a year ago, three young people began to call the TV presenter in turn, who turned out to be the illegitimate children of her loving husband. Some of the kids hinted, and someone openly stated that, since daddy did not help in education, now let him help financially.

ZhG asked the singer to comment on the situation:

I'm not ready to talk about my divorce. While this is a sore subject. I can say one thing: I don’t want to get a divorce, ”Alexey Glyzin answered in a dead voice.

Evelina VETROVA.

In 1971, on May 7 in the city of Odessa an ordinary girl Saniya Valentinovna Babiy was born, but this city did not become her home and she did not even remember it, because at the age of three months her parents moved to Omsk, and already in this city she grew up.

Sania's parents studied ultra-low temperatures, were scientists. She had the most ordinary childhood, which was no different from the everyday life of all other children in the Soviet Union.

Sania's parents wanted to see her in science and sent her to a school with a physical and mathematical bias. But the girl dreamed of gymnastics, she liked to watch the girls in beautiful swimsuits pull the splits and easily do exercises with a ball and ribbons.

We must pay tribute to mom and dad, they did not break their daughter's dreams and sent her to the section in artistic gymnastics. Sania got involved and the career of a scientist faded into the background, her life was completely filled with sports.

However, instead of a beautiful swimsuit and light exercises, she got a regular tracksuit and exhausting workouts. The girl's perseverance, efficiency and determination can only be envied, she spent all her free time in training and training camps.

Those who are at least a little familiar with gymnastics understand how hard labor it is. And in order to achieve professional success in big-time sports, one must have a truly iron will. Sania Babiy had this will, and she also had a great desire to become a champion and she became one.

Career

Her coach was Galina Pavlovna Gorenkova and under her leadership and thanks to her perseverance, in 1985 she won the All-Russian Youth Games. After there was an international tournament "Rhythms of dance", there she received a bronze medal in the all-around. The next step in her sports career was the championship of the RSFSR and there she was unconditionally the first in the all-around.

Then there were all kinds of sports days, all-Union championships and international competitions and tournaments, where she won prizes, and in most championships she received exactly the gold medal. She was awarded the knowledge of the Honored Master of Sports. And the crown of her career was the silver medal in the all-around in 1988 at the European Championship which took place in Finland.

She devoted all her youth and youth to gymnastics, but as Sania herself said, thanks to sports, she had something that others did not have. She's enough traveled to other cities and countries which was practically inaccessible to other Soviet children.

Personal life

Almost immediately after the European Championships, at the age of 16, she met her future husband Alexey Glyzin. He courted her very carefully and romantically and confessed his love to her only after quite a long time.

As a result, Saniya accepted Alexei's courtship and they became husband and wife. By the way, Sania is the second wife of Glyzin, he has a son from his first marriage.

Almost immediately after the wedding, namely seven months later, Sania gave birth to a son. The couple named him Igor, in honor of the musician Igor Talkov. Practically for eighteen years peace and love reigned in their family son grew up.

And because of the loving nature of Alexei, suspecting him of treason, Saniya filed for divorce. But the couple never divorced, after several court hearings on the dissolution of the marriage, Alexey begged for forgiveness from his wife and Saniya forgave him. Now they live together, the son is an adult.

However, no matter how hard Alexey Glyzin tried to “put” his wife at home and raise her son, she was adamant and continued to work. Naturally, she did not return to big-time sports as an athlete, but she did not refuse gymnastics.

At first, for some time she was the head of the Moscow gymnastics studio " rebirth", then she created show-ballet "Relevé" and became its leader.

Her team quite often performed at concerts given by her husband and other famous musicians. But she also did not leave her job as a coach and continues to teach aesthetic gymnastics to girls. Under her leadership, some athletes won first places in prestigious competitions and championships.

Sania leads a fairly active life, in addition to her family, she has enough time for many projects, and for herself too. Babiy looks great retained a magnificent figure, unlike other athletes who became coaches.

According to her, that after fairly strict diets, the desire to abandon the restrictions is very great, but thanks to her strong-willed nature, Saniya succeeds. And the fact that her marriage to Glyzin continues to exist.

After a failed divorce husband became very attentive to her and they both began to understand how valuable their relationship is and is more attentive to each other. The son grew up and lives separately.

Alexey Sergeevich Glyzin - Soviet and Russian singer, actor, he was born on January 13, 1954 in the city of Mytishchi. The musician became famous thanks to his participation in the Cheerful Guys group. After the collapse of the team, he successfully made a solo career. Later, Alexey repeatedly showed his artistic abilities in various shows. In total, during his career, he released 5 solo albums and three greatest hits compilations. In 2006, the singer received the title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation.

Childhood and family

Lyosha was born into an ordinary family. His parents worked on the railroad, there were no artists among the relatives. Sergei Vasilyevich, the boy's father, was a war veteran. In his youth, he was twice wounded, shell-shocked reached the Polish border.

Serafima Alekseevna, the mother of the future singer, from childhood instilled in him a love of music. Lyosha gave impromptu concerts for relatives and family friends, and then his subtle ear was revealed. Parents sent their talented son to a music school, where he studied piano and guitar. Even then, the boy began to dream of a career as an artist.

Glyzin was barely four years old when his parents divorced. The boy stayed with his mother and grandmother. They lived in a two-room apartment in the building of the Ministry of Railways. Later, the family moved to the grandmother's house at the first metro station beyond the Moscow Ring Road. As a teenager, Lyosha was a bully. But all his antics were associated with a heightened sense of justice. In the fifth grade, the boy was expelled from the pioneers for a fight in which he defended the honor of his girlfriend. Until the eighth grade, he studied satisfactorily, sometimes even received fives, but then he “fell ill” with music.

Singer education

Even while studying at a music school, Glyzin dreamed of an electric guitar. The mother could not afford such a purchase, so the young man decided to design the instrument himself. His knowledge of radio electronics was not enough, so after the eighth grade of the school, Lesha entered the corresponding technical school.

After three years of study, the musician was able to make his own electric guitar, after which he joyfully left the school. He did not want to work by distribution, so the young man decided to look for a university more suitable for his hobbies. In his free time, he began to play in the musical group of the recreation center of the city of Mytishchi.

Alexey became a student of the Tambov cultural and educational school. There he studied in absentia, continuing to play in the ensemble. Three years later, Glyzin decided to conquer Moscow. He entered the University of Culture in the pop-wind department. But the agenda prevented her from graduating from the university. The student was drafted into the army, he went to serve as an aviation specialist in the Far East.

Performances with groups

Paradoxically, it was the army that helped Lesha start building a career. There he was able to master the alto saxophone in just three months. Initially, the young man played in the military ensemble "Flight", where he found like-minded people who love music. After the end of the service, they assembled the Loyalty group together. Together with the musicians, Glyzin traveled to many cities of the USSR, performing at dance floors and festivals.

After a successful debut, Alexei began to be invited to other teams. Together with VIA "Good fellows" he shared the championship in the competition "Red Carnation" in Sochi. In 1977, the musician worked for several months in the notorious ensemble "Gems", after which he moved to the VIA "Rhythm". The last group performed on stage from the most Primadonna of the Russian stage - Alla Pugacheva.

Together with Alla Borisovna, the musician traveled to all major cities of the USSR. At one of his performances, he was noticed by Alexander Buinov, at that time he was a soloist of the VIA Vesyolye Rebyata. The singer quickly agreed with Pugacheva, and the star let go of one of the best accompanists.

Since 1979, Glyzin began to play as part of the "Merry Fellows". The group was incredibly popular both in the Union and beyond. It was then that the musician first traveled abroad. With the team, he went on tour to Finland, Germany, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia and Hungary. The songs "Don't worry, aunt", "Evening by candlelight" and "Easy to say" became undoubted hits. The artists were constantly shown on TV, their compositions were played on the radio and in all discos. The team had a huge number of fans of different ages.

"Merry Fellows" became laureates of numerous competitions. Among them are Yerevan-81, Bratislava Lira-85 and others. Glyzin was a member of the group when they worked on the albums "Banana Islands" and "Just a Minute". The last compositions recorded with his participation were "Episode" and "Forest Tale". With these songs, the team performed in the "Morning Post".

Solo career

In 1988, the singer decided to leave the group. He assembled a new team, which was called "Ura". In it, Glyzin was a soloist. For two years, the musicians regularly performed at gala concerts, received several prizes at the Song of the Year competition.

In 1990 Alexey's first solo album "Winter Garden" was released. He became incredibly successful, the songs “You are not an angel” and “Ashes of Love” especially fell in love with the listeners. In 1991 Alexei performed solo for the first time in Moscow. After 10 years, he again managed to collect full halls in the capital and St. Petersburg.

Unfortunately, the singer failed to repeat the grandiose success of the first album. But he continued to release records, delighting his loyal fans. In 1995, the disc "This is not true" was released, the title song of which was "My Love", written in the words of Talkov.

Success in other areas

Back in the eighties, Alexei demonstrated his acting skills. He played in the films "She with a broom, he is in a black hat" and "Primorsky Boulevard". The musician not only appeared on the screen as an actor, but also recorded several soundtracks for these films. In 1999, he participated in the Musical Ring project, Sergey Rogozhin became the singer's opponent.

In recent years, the stars of the 90s are becoming popular again. In order to keep up with the team, Glyzin agreed to participate in various shows. Since 2007, he "shone" on the screen in the projects "First Squadron", "You are a superstar!" and Cruel Intentions. The filming of the last program ended sadly for the artist: he ended up in the hospital.

In 2015, Alexei again reminded fans of his existence by taking part in the show Just Like It. There he brilliantly embodied the images of Barykin, Bon Jovi, Serov, Antonov and Al Bano. On all projects in which the musician participated, he won prizes. In 2017, he appeared in the Three Chords show.

In September 2016, Glyzin became a confidant of the United Russia party. Together with his brother, he took part in the elections to the State Duma.

Personal life

Glyzin always had a strong character, but he was also distinguished by impulsiveness. Sometimes because of this, gossip arose that had nothing to do with reality. For example, once "Jolly Fellows" lived next door to a group from the USA during the tour. The American drummer threw the TV out of the window, but the journalists preferred to blame Alexei for everything. Because of this unpleasant situation, he was not allowed into Leningrad for a long time.

The emotionality of a creative person manifested itself in his personal life. Alexei was married twice. He met his first wife Lyudmila before the army. The girl waited for her lover, after his return a luxurious wedding took place at the Rossiya Hotel. In November 1975, the son Alexei was born. Now he works as a director, he is married.

Due to the popularity of the "Jolly Fellows", the relationship in marriage began to deteriorate. Lyudmila did not want to put up with the constant persecution of fans, and the musician refused to compromise. As a result, he chose to leave his wife for a young fan Evgenia Gerasimova. After the divorce, Alexey and Lyudmila did not communicate for a long time, but with age they improved relations. A few years ago, the woman died.

Evgenia was too frivolous for the singer. She dreamed of her own career, did not want to sit at home and have children. Later, she left her lover for the sake of Vyacheslav Makhrensky, the guitarist of the Zemlyane group. Glyzin tried to return to his ex-wife, but she had already found her happiness with another man.

In 1989 Alexey met his second wife. He fell in love with the gymnast Saniya Babiy without memory. She was a master of sports and world champion in rhythmic gymnastics, founded the ballet "Relevé", which performed at Glyzin's concerts. In July 1992, the lovers got married, a year later their son Igor was born. He was named after the deceased Talkov. The boy was fond of music since childhood, later he began to accompany his father at concerts. In April 2005, Alexei became a grandfather. The wife of his eldest son gave birth to a boy, who was named Denis.

The last album of the singer was released in 2012, it was called "Wings of Love". In the same year, rumors about his divorce from his wife were leaked to the press. Sania refused to tolerate betrayal and scandals from her husband. But later the relationship improved, the couple managed to save the family.

Now Glyzin is not working on new material, but occasionally continues to perform. In his free time, he likes to play football with Nikolai Trubach, Vladimir Presnyakov and Sergey Minaev. They have their own "star team" called Starco.

At the end of 2016, the singer was hospitalized due to emotional overexcitation. The fans were very worried, but the doctors said that everything would be fine with Alexei. In December 2016, he again performed on stage, later a joint composition with Valeria "He and She" was recorded. In April 2017, this hit brought the artists an award at the Chanson of the Year festival.

There are almost no "eternal" artists - any singer or actor who is popular with everyone today will sooner or later be recognized only in a certain "niche" of old fans. Then most of the "stars" go down in history, what to do, under the onslaught of young, talented, daring. And only a few can keep the fickle bird of popularity in their hands, making people come to their concerts again and again, crying with delight.

One of them is the singer Alexey Glyzin. Yes, now he is not as popular as 30 years ago, but his voice still sounds from TV screens and on the Internet, he is recognizable and loved.

Childhood, school and technical school, army

The boy's parents were far from music by profession, both worked on the railroad. The father of the future cult "star" of the 80s was a front-line soldier: twice wounded during the Great Patriotic War, he reached Poland as part of the Soviet troops, had military awards. Mom, Serafima Alekseevna, who devoted her whole life to railways, was awarded the title of "Honorary Railway Worker", it was she who was allocated a large service apartment from the Ministry, where Alyosha spent his childhood.

In the photo Alexey Glyzin in childhood.

The family broke up when the son was four years old, the boy stayed with his mother. The mother worked almost seven days a week, so the son began to spend a lot of time with his grandmother in Moscow, geographically - near the Perovskaya metro station.

Glyzin's parents dreamed that Alyosha would continue their dynasty and become a railway engineer, but the boy became interested in music almost from infancy. How glad he was when a neighbor, a music teacher, offered his mother free lessons with her son on the piano! Lessons in the neighboring entrance were held almost every day, then there was a city music school. By the age of 12, Alyosha was fluent in the instrument, performing popular songs to his own accompaniment.

And then the neighbor showed the young man a few chords on the guitar! A dream was born - not only to learn how to play it, but also to buy (or make) your own, in electronic form, with speakers. In Soviet times, this dream was unrealistic: such guitars were in short supply in stores, and in order to make one, one had to have a special education. The only educational institution that “suited” for the realization of the desire was the local radio technical school, where Alexei entered after school. After three incomplete years of study, the young man made a guitar.

Concerts were held at the Mytishchi House of Culture on weekends, and Alexey began to perform there as part of a youth ensemble. He studied in absentia at the cultural and educational school in Tambov, then transferred to the State Institute of Culture in Moscow. Alas, he did not graduate from it then - from the third year he was drafted into the army.

At the call, he was sent to the Far East, to the border with China. The dull army everyday life soon ended: the authorities found out that Glyzin plays the piano, guitar and saxophone beautifully, and even sings! The service of the future brilliant pop singer was held in the military ensemble "Flight", with which he performed at concerts and holidays.

The beginning of a pop career, the path to great fame

Immediately after the army, Glyzin was “drifted” to the Chechen-Ingush region, where he began working in the local philharmonic society in the Loyalty group. Then he worked part-time on Moscow dance floors, where he was noticed by the director of "Good fellows" and invited to his place. With this ensemble in Sochi in 1976, Alexey, by the way, received the first "official" award - the title of laureate of the "Red Carnation" competition. Then he was invited to Gems, where he worked for two years.

The popularity was already there: a young singer with a noticeable appearance and a strong, clear voice attracted the attention of fans of these groups, but he still remained “on vocals”. I can’t break into the stars, even though I’ll earn money, Alexei thought and went to Rhythm. The pay there was not just good, but excellent for those times - still, the group accompanied the “diva” Alla Pugacheva herself! And then he caught the eye of the soloist of "Jolly Fellows" Alexander Buinov, who invited his artistic director to invite the singer to them.

They promised Glyzin a trip to Spain as part of a group, and he agreed to leave the “feeding trough” (that is, “Rhythm”) and go to the ensemble that was beginning to gain fame. To the credit of Alla Borisovna, she did not intrigue the young man, she even approved his transition to a new team.

And here it is, finally, glory! Glyzin is not only a full member of the ensemble: he is recognizable throughout the country, his appearance is expected at every TV concert. If you ask people whose youth fell on the 80s, what songs were the most popular then, they will definitely remember "Traveling Artists", "Aunt", "Cars", which "literally filled everything"! The songs were constantly played on radio and TV, fans pursued the "Merry Fellows" around the clock, journalists besieged Glyzin's house, dreaming of interviews.

Singer in his youth.

At the end of 1982, Vladimir Matetsky and Yuri Chernavsky decided to release a rock album, for which they would sing "Jolly Fellows". The release took place in February 83rd. The music and lyrics of the collection were mercilessly criticized in the press at the direction of "from above" - the songs allegedly "contradicted the accepted trends." Officially, the album was released only after the collapse of the USSR, but the singles of the Banana Islands were on everyone's lips - it sold out in a two-track tape version and became a cult. Makarevich once spoke about the tastes of the public of that time: “People listened to us,“ Time Machine ”, and we listened to“ Banana Islands ”.

The group toured the country with great success, overshadowing the popularity of other ensembles. They also traveled abroad: to Cuba, to Poland and Hungary, to Italy and Finland, visited the USA. "Blue Light", "Morning Mail", any festive concert on TV - they were invited everywhere, and always in the foreground - Glyzin.

Cooperation with the "guys" would have continued for many more years, if not for an unpleasant incident. Then, working in a team, it was impossible to give solo performances. Viktor Chaika was “caught” for this crime, he was asked to leave the ensemble (in other words, he was fired), Glyzin also left with him as a sign of solidarity ...

How many talented singers, confident in their significance, left the team, tried to work solo, and disappeared into oblivion ... This is not about Glyzin. In 1988, he created his own ensemble, "Ura", and for two years they successfully toured the country. In the 90s - a new take-off, a dizzying success for the singer brought the collection "Winter Garden". The song of the same name and another one, “You are not an angel”, became real bestsellers. Five years later, Glyzin releases the second album, which the fans also really liked - "This is not true." In it, he included a song written by Talkov - "My Love". The words from the song: “I can’t see you, no ...” still cause delight and tears.

Glyzin now

In total, Alexey Glyzin released seven albums, of which the fans especially liked The Soul Flies (2004) and the last one, Wings of Love (2012). Of course, these collections cannot be compared with the former glory, but the singer has numerous fans who are happy to listen to his songs and go to his concerts. In 2006, his work (and it's really hard work - to please listeners with good songs!) Was appreciated: President Putin personally awarded the musician the title of "Honored Artist of Russia".

Invitations to programs, TV shows are constantly received by Glyzin - he is still in demand and popular. 2007 - Superstar on NTV and second place, 2008 - First Squadron and second place again, 2009 - Cruel Intentions. Due to pressure problems, Glyzin was suddenly hospitalized during the filming of the last show.

On the show “Just Like It” in 2015, Alexei was expected with joy, and for good reason: he skillfully reincarnated as such stars as Al Bano, Bon Jovi, Billy Joel, “portrayed” Barykin, Shnutov, Sukachev.

In 2016, in collaboration with singer Valeria Glyzin, he offered fans the song "He and She". A year later, a video was shot for the song (which was a huge success with fans), for which Valeria and Glyzin were awarded the Chanson of the Year award.

Now Alexey Sergeevich is touring, and successfully. In February 2018, on Valentine's Day, he gave a concert in Minsk at the Big Concert Hall. On the concert posters it was indicated - "live sound 6+", that is, the musical accompaniment and performance were not recorded, but natural. Latest news: in March, Glyzin visited Yelets with a concert, in April he began touring the Kaluga region.

Personal life

The singer's first wife, Lyudmila, waited for him from the army and in 1975 gave birth to his first child, the son of Alexei. Family happiness did not last long: constant concerts, tours and crowds of female fans did not contribute to this. “Broke” the marriage (yes, it was) a young fan of the singer Zhenya Gerasimova.

The romance with her was short-lived - she went to Makhretsky (at that time he was a guitarist in the "Earthlings"). The mistake that Glyzin made, succumbing to the spell of a young fan, became fatal: he tried to ask for forgiveness from his wife, but it was too late.

The singer's wife is the head of the Revele dance group at the moment, this group takes part in Glyzin's concerts. Alexey Sergeevich is already a grandfather, his grandson's name is Denis (born in 2005).

Glyzin's children are good and successful people: the eldest son knows English perfectly, works as a director; the younger's hobbies are swimming and Chinese.
