Anna and Sergei are the last hero. The tragic fate of the participants of the TV show

25.06.2019

The name of the winner is still a mystery. On the website of the program on the Internet, where the audience voting takes place, Ivan Lyubimenko is in the lead - 43% of the vote, Inna Gomez - 33%, Sergei Odintsov - 8%, Anna Modestova - 4%. It is also not entirely clear how the “last hero” will be determined. One thing is known: out of the four remaining on the island, two will first fly out, and the winner will be chosen from these two. Project producer Sergei KUSHNEREV told the readers of KP about the final shooting days. - What was the most difficult at the end?- It remained to shoot the last two episodes, when a typhoon of terrible force came from Cuba. For the last competition, four participants had to be transported by air on slings dropped from a helicopter to a very beautiful Bird Island. But they didn't take the risk. The episode on the impregnable Devil's Island, where the two finalists were supposed to spend the night before the last council, was abandoned. It was possible to throw them there, but it was practically impossible to take them back. - Was the wedding of Sergei and Anya real or is it a TV trick?- Yes, for two weeks we were looking for a way to marry them in Panama, for a week we persuaded the judge to fly by helicopter, for two hours we hid her in the bushes along with the court clerk, translator, champagne and glasses! - How did you manage to ensure secrecy around the name of the winner?- Even my close friends do not know who became the winner. Bodrov was stopped by traffic cops and threatened to take away his license if he did not tell. And the man himself, who became the “last hero,” thought for a long time whether to tell his family about this. - The winner will receive the same money from the box that is shown to us during the council?- Of course not, this money is not real. And the winner will receive real money in Moscow on February 14 during the concert "The Last Hero". Ilya OGNEV. WHAT IS HAPPENING TO THE PARTICIPANTS? Inna Gomez was invited to star in an American film. Sergei Sakin received an offer to publish a series of books, starting with a novel about The Last Hero. Another book on the same topic is written by Vanya Lyubimenko. Snezhana recorded her first song on a disc. Sergey and Anya want to get married in Moscow, but have not yet determined the exact date: April 14 or May 14. BTW Vanya sacrificed... his hair for the sake of the fire The youngest participant of the project is writing a book about how the events on the island actually developed Vanya Lyubimenko is finishing the future bestseller. "Komsomolskaya Pravda" got the opportunity to read some chapters from the book. It turned out that the most difficult test for Ivan was the return from Bocas del Toro. In Moscow, Vanya fell down with a tropical fever. Having recovered, he passed the session at the university with "five" and sat down to the book. - Vanya, did the book include a lot of what was left behind the scenes? This book was conceived for that purpose. She's pretty outspoken. The very climax is in the chapter "Before and after the fire." When the remaining five spoke candidly about everything... - Who did you dislike the most on the island?- Natasha Ten. I didn't like her for her regular lies. In her eyes she said one thing, behind her eyes another. Toward the end, I felt that they were going to “eat” her and offered me a deal: “Don’t vote against me. I will support you." Apparently, she took for a naive simpleton. I may have been, but I refused the deal. - Who was cute?- Anya. On our first night on the island, we agreed on three things: not to form alliances, not to vote against each other, and to share information. So it was before Sergei took a seat next to Anya. ...At the beginning of the game, the Turtles won 15 matches. But one day the fire went out, and there was nothing dry to kindle. Ivan decided to donate his hair. The ladies cut off a small bun, soaked their hair in cologne instead of fuel. And... nothing happened. It turned out that the remaining two matches got wet. Svetlana KHRUSTALEVA. BEHIND THE SCREEN Odintsov hid cookies in his shorts Anya Modestova slipped on the wet stage and fell (in the last episode her chin was covered with plaster) - there was a suspicion of a concussion. Sergei Sakin every evening tried to swim to Anya on a neighboring island. The raging current could carry him into the ocean. Therefore, the journalist who was on the island was ordered to be on duty near Sakin. All participants constantly experienced three sensations: I want to eat, I want sweets, I want meat. One day, one of the people preparing the shooting dropped a pack of cookies into the water. Seeing this, Odintsov quietly picked up the cookies from the bottom and hid them in his shorts, and then slowly ate them, sharing them with the others. Sergey Tereshchenko lost the most weight during his stay on the island - by 30 kg. Vanya Lyubimenko lost 4 kg, Sergey Odintsov - 14 kg, Anya Modestova - 6 kg, but Inna Gomez managed to stay with her.

LAST HERO: who kept the flies away from Sakin?

September 20, 2002

This girl made the ill-mannered outcast of the capital Sergey Sakin play with new colors. A young lady who has made an aesthete and a person out of a bully who writes books about “More than Ben”. A modest girl of graceful pastel beauty, who won his (Sakina's) heart and forced the whole country to follow the development of their island romance, which ended in a wedding.
All this is a participant in the television show "The Last Hero" Anya Modestova, a simple primary school teacher who temporarily became a national heroine and favorite character in gossip columns. We managed to ask modern Cinderella a few questions about the Game.

Slavka Bukharov: TV viewers and newspapers have exhausted the topics for discussion of the "sweet couple" Bocas del Toro. What is happening to you now?

Anya Modestova: The tour to Paris, which Sergey and I received as a wedding gift from the sponsors of The Last Hero, has not yet taken off - we can’t escape from work, but we hope to see Paris in September. And in Moscow, despite the fact that the broadcast of the game ended in February, now they are more often recognized on the streets ...

SB: And what made such a fragile girl leave civilization and rush to uncharted lands?

AM: I went to Bokas to keep mosquitoes away from delicious Sakin. It was at that moment that she did not want to part with a dear person. Those close to my idea of participating in the game reacted excellently - the support of friends was felt on the island, it warmed my soul. But my grandmother drank pills for nausea for a week, after a series where we ate worms.

SB: What else from "that" life remained firmly in your memory?

AM: The scariest moment of life on the island is the first night. They went to bed, tossed and turned for a long time, and, finally, everyone calmed down. In those very minutes, they realized that everything around was moving, crawling, running and flying past at low level. The most joyful is the wedding. Believe in fairy tales - they come true! And the day when they realized that the last remaining five were not rivals, but friends.

SB: Were there any difficulties in communicating with your rival friends?

AM: The difficulty is that the island is not a city where you can avoid meeting a person who is not interesting to you. TV cameras were treated like local residents treat coconuts: you don’t seem to pay attention, but without them it’s somehow unnatural.

SB: What competition seemed the most difficult?

AM: I can’t single out any competition in particular: in those conditions, all competitions were perceived naturally. The most fun was catching lobsters in the paddock: all the time instead of fish I caught Tselovansky's leg, and Vanka grabbed me. In addition, lobsters chirp wildly, so that you can hear it when you dive.
It turned out to be very difficult to stand on the perches, I still don’t understand how we didn’t catch pneumonia together, because. at that moment, the body was already weakened by some kind of virus, everyone was coughing, and by that time I had a temperature for several days.

SB: Was what the audience saw on the screen different from what the eyes of the "last heroes" saw?

AM: Probably, each of the participants saw what was happening in Bokas in their own way, but the overall feeling of editing and transmission is wonderful. In my opinion, with the help of television, you can make a monster or an angel out of every person, but all the characters on the screen appeared as they really are, and maybe somewhere even better.

SB: Did anything change in your life after the Game?

AM: Life itself has changed for the better. On the island we enriched ourselves spiritually, made REAL friends. Now I keep in touch with Inna, Serezha, Vanya, rescuers and the guys from the film crew. Most of all, upon my return, I wanted to see my relatives and fly back to the island as the last five.
Once again we would go to such a test! Especially - the same composition.

Sergei's father was returning home. “Not far from the entrance, a drunken, dirty guy was sleeping on a bench ... It was me,” Sergey Sakin shares with StarHit, “dad shook me, and when I opened my eyes, he said: “Son, I’m walking here with your children, my grandchildren, it won't be cool if they see you dead. Let's try to do something." At home, in a search engine, we typed: "drug addiction treatment." They chose a charitable foundation - the Center for Healthy Youth (CZM) - the branch farthest from the capital in the North Caucasus, in Pyatigorsk. At that moment I did not believe in God, nor in the devil, nor in myself, and I thought that I would surely die. I decided that I would just go away and let them forget me. It was in May 2013…”

Looking for adventure
Sergei Sakin, or as his friends call him Spiker, has always been a bully and adventurer. By some miracle, in 1998, he graduated from the Institute of Asian and African Countries of Moscow State University. Lomonosov, he and his friend Pavel Tetersky decided to test their strength - to go to London without a penny in their pocket. While working as a journalist, he saved up for tickets. “For a visa, you had to bring a certificate of income,” recalls Sakin. But at that time we had already left the company. They brought a fake one, and she "rolled".

In October 1999, two friends ended up in London. Tetersky's friends let them live, but three days later the guys “ran away” - they got tired of adjusting and having boring conversations. For a while, Pavel and Sergey lived in a barn in an abandoned garden, then - in the airport waiting room. “We went for a dream that never came true! Sakin continues. - To fall asleep, like a bum, in an uncomfortable place, - he drank. Hangover in the morning. And you need to go wash the dishes in a restaurant. And then I got hooked on drugs - it seemed that I injected, and my head hurts less. I spent all my money on it." Two months later, Sergei could not stand it and returned to Russia.

In London, Sakin and Tetersky kept a diary of adventures. After returning home, Sergey collected all the records in the book “More Ben”. It was published in 2001 with a circulation of 1000 copies, but it was reprinted many times and brought in a good income. Seven years later, the book was made into a film of the same name starring Andrey Chadov.

From the island with love

The London adrenaline quickly ended, and Sergey passed the casting for the show "The Last Hero" - in the fall of 2001 he drove off to Panama. “For me, there were no difficulties on the project - I got used to sleeping on the ground, I was also used to being separated from loved ones, and eating anything was not new,” says Sakin. He did not win the show, but was the favorite of the audience, who followed his relationship with the participant, Anna Modestova. They met in a bar, even before the casting. On the show, either by chance or by the decision of the producers, they ended up in different tribes, on different islands. Sergey somehow even tried to swim across to Anna, the current was strong, and he could easily be carried into the ocean. After that, a guard was assigned to him.

It turned out that love was not for the sake of the show - after returning from the project in June 2002, Sergey and Anya signed and got married. At the ceremony, the bride was in a cream satin dress, brushing away tears after the words “Both in sorrow and in joy ...” Participants of the show Inna Gomez, Sergey Odintsov congratulated the newlyweds, the host Sergey Bodrov promised to come, but he had shooting. Together with all the relatives, they bought an apartment in Moscow, and in 2005 the Sakins had a son, Alyosha. But Anna filed for divorce. “It was impossible to live with me,” says Sergey. “I was selfish, a liar. He disappeared for weeks, explained it as work, but in fact he used it and could not stop. Anya was a primary school teacher, she earned a little, I published, collaborated with TV. But there wasn't enough money. Anya could not stand it, and we parted.

Sergey rented an apartment, thought that he would remain alone forever - he drowned out the pain in a way known to him. In 2007, he came to the next interview - to get a job as an editor on television. The girl Maria, who saw him off, liked Sakin, he began to look after her. Soon they began to live together in Maria's apartment, in 2009 their daughter Vasilisa was born. But a year later, everything went downhill: “It was the bottom, the money almost stopped coming, I realized that I was unpleasant to my daughter and Masha, and left. He became a homeless again - he lived at railway stations, he could fight and rob a store. Tried to tie - lay down for instillation in clinics. But after discharge, I rarely had enough for more than a day - I broke down.

I will be better

The day of departure for treatment at the Center for Healthy Youth in Pyatigorsk, Sergei Sakin remembers poorly. The only reminder is the photo on the phone: he is with Masha and daughter Vasilisa, who came to say goodbye. “He came to us overgrown, swollen. In striped socks and with an empty trunk from an expensive laptop. Alkolev of the Moscow beau monde, ”recalls psychotherapist Alexei Solovyov.

It was hard for Sergei during rehabilitation - he avoided contact with others. Communicated only with the mentor. Calling home was forbidden at first, Sakin himself understood that relatives did not need to listen to his whining. Parents and wife learned about the course of treatment from the staff of the Center for Health Care. Sometimes, Sergei was in conflict, he could raise his hand and hide a cigarette. So one more month was added to the prescribed six months. It all ended in December 2013.

Then Sakin moved to the health camp of the TsZM in the Moscow region, where he was able to meet Vasilisa and Masha for the first time. “I took my daughter in my arms, she clung to me and didn’t let go for a long time,” he recalls. - I wanted to return, but Masha said: “It’s too early. You were selfish. Serve people - and we will be proud of you!

So Sakin became a volunteer - he went to work in the department of the TsZM in Kazan, he wrote a lot in his spare time. In the fall, a familiar producer invited him to make a film. Work on the art-house film "Lesha's Prayer" is in full swing in Abkhazia - Sakin is both a director and screenwriter in it. He is in no hurry to go home: “I promised Masha a beautiful wedding, until I earned it, and I need to buy a house.”

But for one or two days, Sergei always visits his family when he is in Moscow. “The daughter recently gave out in a flirtatious voice: “Daddy, don’t wear a T-shirt! You are such a strong man…” he shares with pride. - Alyoshka, it seems, does not yet understand what to do with such a gift as a normal dad. I feel like God gave me life again. The other day I was cooking on a fire with a friend under banana palms. And suddenly I thought: it already happened. Banana palms, rice with chicken... My parents are proud and don't worry about me - for the first time in my life! Every morning I take a photo of the sunrise and send it to the children on social networks, and they meet it with me.”

We all remember the project "The Last Hero" that made a splash 16 years ago. I remember how I tried to get home from work as quickly as possible in order to watch the next episode of this exciting reality show with the whole family.

In 2001, the premiere of the reality show "The Last Hero" took place. The participants had to survive day after day on a desert island, fighting for a prize of three million rubles (a colossal sum for those times!). A new format, an unprecedented intensity of passions, danger, risk, adrenaline, difficult human relationships...

It is not surprising that the project "shot", instantly breaking all records of views. The final season of The Last Hero was shown in 2009.

Our team decided to tell you how the life of the members of the project turned out, how they managed to survive in the jungle, and how they coped with the fame that had fallen on them after the show.

Sergei Odintsov- Winner of the first season.

Having won three million rubles, Sergei quit his job at customs and was soon elected a deputy of his native city of Kursk. Odintsov spent most of his winnings on buying an apartment and a car, and invested the rest of the money in his own business - he opened a cafe. Sergey also took part in the fifth season, but this time he did not even reach the final.

Inna Gomez(pictured left)

Interest in Inna increased markedly, and she was invited to the cinema - in the wake of fame, she received several major roles. True, very soon the popularity of Gomez faded away, and she switched to charity. Today, films and TV shows with her participation are extremely rare, and almost nothing is known about the actress herself. She does not have a single social media account, and she is no longer listed in modeling agencies, but films, fortunately, are being released: the most recent premiere took place in 2016.

Sergei Sakin(pictured with Anna Modestova)

Sergei did not win the project, but he did not leave it empty-handed - the relationship with Anna continued, and soon the young people got married, and then got married. The couple later had a son. A couple of years later, their union suddenly broke up. It turned out that Sergei became addicted to illegal drugs while still in London and did not stop secretly taking them. From the addiction, by the way, he still can not get rid of.

Sergei Tereshchenko

A few years after the end of the show, Sergey released the book Life After Death, in which he spoke in detail about the difficult life on the island. With many participants and guys from the film crew, he is still friends. Today Tereshchenko is known as an actor, the most popular project with his participation is the comedy series "CHOP" on TNT.

Elena Bartkova

During the project, Elena realized that she wanted to move to Russia. Friends helped her get a job in Moscow, on the wave of fame she gave interviews, attended various events, at one of which she met her future husband, illusionist Andrei Safronov.

The body of the writer Sergei Sakin was found in the Yaroslavl region. The man disappeared in November last year on the way from Myshkin to Moscow. Sakin was only 40 years old.

Sakin was born in Moscow and graduated from high school in the Novy Arbat area. Prior to that, he changed several schools (he was expelled for systematic conflicts with teachers and other violations of discipline). In one of the schools he received the nickname "Spiker" - from the Americans who came under the student exchange program.

Sakin was a participant in the first season of the popular reality show "The Last Hero". Later he married Anna Modestova, a participant in the same show (the couple later divorced), Sergey also published a book about his participation in the show.

Sergey Sakin has been treated for alcohol and drug addiction for many years. For the last two years he lived in the courtyard of the Nikitsky Monastery in Pereslavl-Zalessky (Yaroslavl Region). The writer worked in a team of volunteers like him. Men were engaged in the restoration of the temple. In parallel, the journalist collaborated with an online publication (the last publication was in March 2017).

In the summer of 2017, Sakin moved to a village near the town of Myshkin, Yaroslavl Region, to live with his old friend Alexander Smirnov. A large believing family accepted a man with a difficult fate as their own. The guest helped them with housework and enjoyed nature. From time to time, Sergei came to Moscow, where his parents live, as well as two children - a 12-year-old son from his marriage to Anna Modestova and a 9-year-old daughter from a civil marriage. In the autumn he came every month, in a good mood, and even brought village meat as a present. But, according to his acquaintances, the capital spoiled Sergei - on every visit he broke down.

On November 6, the journalist left for Myshkin and invited his old friend to live with him, with whom he was treated for addiction to hard drugs. Alexander Smirnov gave them a separate house with cattle, in which the men were supposed to equip their life, but instead the comrades returned to their old habits. Moscow, where he will put himself in order and return back. His friend was sent by taxi back home.

On November 24, 2017, Sergei was escorted to the ferry, on which he was supposed to cross the Volga and take the first regular bus to Moscow. Here the trail of the journalist is interrupted. Judging by the security cameras, he was indeed on the ferry. But his parents did not wait for him in the capital. According to some reports, eyewitnesses saw a man who looked like a well-known journalist buying alcohol in a department store in Myshkin on the same day at about 17.00 (and he was supposed to take the bus at 16.00). And on November 30, Sakin was allegedly seen in Pereslavl-Zalessky, also in line for alcohol (he was in a black knee-length jacket, blue jeans, a hat and sneakers with red laces).

In the latest photographs of Sakin, traces of use are evident. I remember how in school I eagerly waited for each issue of The Last Hero. Then it was something fundamentally new on TV! I don’t remember Sergey Sakin well, but I remember that I didn’t like him, he seemed somehow hysterical. And his chosen one, Anna, on the contrary, gave the impression of a very pragmatic down-to-earth girl.

Do you remember Sergei in "The Last Hero"?
