Tickets for the "Circle of Light" - only for their own. At the Circle of Light festival, the Ostankino Tower will be turned into the Eiffel Tower When the circle of light passes in a year

04.03.2020

Tens of thousands of Muscovites last week witnessed a grandiose, unique multimedia show, with which only two similar world festivals, in Hong Kong and Sydney, can compete in scale. Annual festival "Circle of Light" organized by Moscow Department of Sports and Tourism in five days it gathered a record number of spectators not only from the capital and cities of Russia, but also guests from 40 countries of the world. Recent advances in lighting design have turned the Ostankino TV Tower into the Eiffel Tower, and the large palace in Tsaritsyno into an underwater world. This year, the organizers involved several city sites - Ostankino, Theater Square, Tsaritsyno, Strogino, Patriarch's Ponds and others. Everywhere the entrance was free, so everyone who wanted to see this fantastic spectacle could.

FIREWORKS IN A THOUSAND FLASHES, FUJIYAMA AND MUSE

We visited the opening of the show in Ostankino. In 2017, the ideological inspirers of the show decided to dedicate this venue to the year of ecology, the birthday of the TV tower itself, and also the summit of the Great Towers of the World.

Those who were at the festival for the first time expected that the climax would be somewhere at the end of the hour-long performance. But it's not. From the very first minutes, the audience opened their mouths, turned on the video recording on smartphones and did not take their eyes off the platform where the pond filled with fountains, the TV tower turned into famous skyscrapers of the world every few minutes, lavender fields and Fujiyama volcano, the Ural Mountains and Baikal stretched at its foot , and next to all this spectacle - an ice show. All this magically combined with the music. The directors have chosen only the most famous world hits of such performers as Michael Jackson, Muse, Adele, Sting, David Carret, Charles Aznavour and others. This was accompanied by fantastic fireworks. Volleys of salute were fired from the TV tower itself, which at times resembled a fire-breathing dragon. Hundreds of videos flew to viewers' Instagrams, increasing the audience of this festival to millions.

Every time we try to surprise the viewer, come up with something new, - told Komsomolskaya Pravda director of the Ostankino venue Vladimir Demekhin. - In particular, here, at the Ostankino site, we present the largest site in the history of the festival, because the entire length of the pond - 300 meters - is covered by various lighting, fountain equipment, burners, and probably this year we have the most interesting interaction between all tools. We also have a lot of innovations on other sites. In particular, not only the façade of the Bolshoi Theatre, but also the Maly Theatre, is operating on Theater Square this year. Several contents have been specially developed that will allow viewers to have a more interesting viewing experience when two façades operate simultaneously. On the site of Tsaritsyno, a fountain show to the Russian classics and a number of experiments on the facade of the large Catherine Palace. We try to use multi-instrumentalism all the time, to use all the light sources that are available.

According to Vladimir Demekhin, the idea of an ice show is not new. But if in 2015 it was essentially a separate platform, then it fit into the overall show, and the choreography on ice was magically combined with the choreography of water, light, and burners. By the way, this year famous skaters participated in the show - Tatyana Navka, Pyotr Chernyshov, Yuko Kawaguchi and Alexander Smirnov. Together with them, a whole group of professional dancers skated on the ice.

How many pyrotechnics were used during the days of the festival, even the organizers do not undertake to calculate. On the first day alone, about a thousand volleys painted the sky on one site.

DELEGATIONS FROM 40 COUNTRIES and "FIELD OF WONDERS"

By the way, the beginning of the show was dedicated to the Ostankino TV tower itself, its 50th anniversary. The audience saw the stages of her glorious path and remembered the best programs that she broadcast these 50 years. Including, "Time", "KVN" and "Field of Miracles".

The opening day of the festival coincided with the last day of the Summit of the Great Towers of the World, which took place in Ostankino. The association of great towers also includes Ostankino. Members of delegations from about 40 countries of the world came to watch the Circle of Light festival. In addition, tickets to the stands were distributed among social funds. Of course, there were not enough seats in the stands for everyone, there were much more applications, - says group president LBL Tatiana Lifantieva.

Tatyana has no doubts that this "Circle of Light" was better than all previous festivals.

We took into account all the wishes that were from our guests, from our viewers in the past years. And we did everything to surpass technically and creatively all the victories that we had until this day. It's a pity, only Guinness does not measure it, - the organizer regrets.

As Tatyana says, 200 million rubles were spent on holding the festival in Ostankino (the show took place here for two days). This is both a city subsidy and the money of sponsors, of which the festival has a lot. The idea of this show has been coming up since January, and already in April it was completely painted. According to the organizers, they start preparing a new festival as soon as the current one ends. This means that they are already thinking today how to surprise us at the Circle of Light in 2018.

The seventh international festival "Circle of Light" will be held in Moscow from 23 to 27 September. Traditionally, viewers will be able to see multimedia laser shows, special lighting effects and fireworks on the streets of the city, and the main venue will be the Ostankino TV Tower. A few days before the start of the Circle of Light festival, information appeared on the network on completely different Internet sites about selling tickets to Krylatskoye. The sellers assured that the ticket entitles their owner to attend the show as a VIP. The price of tickets started from 1.5 thousand rubles and reached, at certain venues, up to 8 thousand. Festival organizers emphasize that admission to all events will be free, and ticket sellers are nothing more than scammers. However, there is one caveat.

According to the organizers, all five open areas are available to everyone, without any restrictions. In other words, no tickets, invitations, etc. Not needed. Anyone can come and watch the show. The only site that differs from the rest is the Rowing Canal in Krylatskoye. And the point is not that it is here that the most colorful action of a scale never seen before will take place, but that stands are initially located on this site. In order not to create unnecessary excitement and somehow control a large mass of people, it was decided to block them, and provide access to the stands only with special invitation cards.

“Entrance to all venues of the Moscow International Circle of Light Festival is free to visit. In 2018, the tribune is only at the Rowing Canal site in Krylatskoye. Invitation tickets can be won by participating in competitions held in the official communities of the Circle of Light festival. Tickets will also be raffled off at the media partners of the festival: for example, on Avtoradio on the morning air, Children's Radio, Humor FM and other radio stations. Traditionally, Muscovites can become ticket holders by participating in a special promotion of the Active Citizen project. The remaining tickets are distributed through government agencies, charitable organizations and social institutions,” the press service of the Circle of Light Moscow International Festival told Krylatskoye.ru.

They also explained that all such invitations indicate that "tickets are not for sale."

“Everyone who tries to sell tickets to the events of the Circle of Light festival is committing fraudulent activities,” the organizers emphasized.

Apparently, tickets to the stands of the Rowing Canal are sold by those who received them, participating in various kinds of promotions and projects. At the same time, the purchase of such tickets "not for sale" carries a rather high risk. The fact is that among the sellers there may be real scammers who sell non-existent tickets, for example, printed on a color printer, or electronic. Since tickets were not on sale in principle, buying them by hand can turn into problems. Controllers will check them and not allow those people who have “fakes” in their hands to the stands. At the same time, it is impossible to prove that you acquired them legally, since, as already emphasized above, they were not on sale.

Moscow International Festival "Circle of Light" will be held in Moscow from 21 to 25 September. In total, five open areas will be involved: Tsaritsyno, Kolomenskoye, Theater Square, the Museum of Victory on Poklonnaya Hill and the Rowing Canal in Krylatskoye. At the same time, two main events, opening and closing, will take place this year in Krylatskoye.

According to the organizers, last year, 2017, the show was visited by a total of about four million people. This time the number of viewers can reach five million. At the same time, it is possible that the site in Krylatskoye will be visited by the largest number of light show fans - about half a million people.

The traditional international festival Circle of Light 2017 will be held this year in Moscow for the seventh time from 23 to 27 September.

The Circle of Light festival will be the brightest visual and sound spectacle this autumn in Moscow.
