What does the minimum threshold in oge mean. Evaluation criteria for the entire oge

15.10.2019

The OGE is an exam that graduates of the 9th grade will have to take in the 2017-2018 academic year. Pupils of schools, gymnasiums and lyceums need to demonstrate the level of knowledge in 5 subjects, two of which will be mandatory (Russian language and mathematics), and three will be asked to choose from the proposed list of disciplines.

To all ninth-graders, their teachers and parents, we offer a more detailed understanding of the following issues:

  • What does the OGE score affect?
  • How are scores converted to school grades?
  • What to do if you have not overcome the minimum threshold of the OGE?

The attitude of schoolchildren and parents to the final certification is ambiguous. The need to prepare for a large number of subjects frankly frightens secondary school students, as does the prospect of being left without a long-awaited document on education. Is it really all that scary?

Before you panic, it is worth understanding these truths:

  • Questions that are included in the standard program of secondary education and are mandatory for study in all general education schools of the Russian Federation are submitted for the exam.
  • The threshold for a passing score for compulsory subjects is indeed "minimum". Overcoming it is more than realistic even for a child with an average level of student achievement.
  • The format of the exams is softer than in the 11th grade. Pupils take the OGE within the walls of their native school and, of course, she is not interested in poor results.

If everything is so rosy and easy, then a logical question arises - why do we need exams in the 9th grade at all? The ministry explains that the OGE is not only monitoring the level of knowledge of students, but also monitoring the quality of teachers' work. Knowing that exams are ahead, both children and teachers treat the educational process more responsibly.

OGE scores and a five-point score

To convert primary scores into grades scored by students when performing examination work in a particular subject within the framework of the OGE 2018, a special compliance scale will be used. Such a scale has been developed for each of the 14 subjects:

If the score transfer scale for the OGE 2018 seems too complicated, you can use special online systems to interpret the results and find out. What are your grades in 9th grade? Here is one such calculator:

Upon admission to specialized classes, FIPI recommends taking the following minimum indicators of primary scores in the subjects of the OGE as a passing threshold:

Who will be able to retake the OGE in 2018

The scale for translating primary OGE scores into grades for 2018 presented to your attention shows that the probability of “failing the exam”, although negligible, still exists.

If for any reason (and there can be many of them, both psychological and physical), the student could not write the OGE for the minimum score, he will receive another attempt. A 9th grade graduate may even have several such attempts.

In 2018, ninth-graders will get a chance to correct a mistake, provided that no more than 2 subjects are unsatisfactorily sent. If the grade "2" is set for 3 more OGE exams, the graduate will not receive the right to retake and will be forced to take a time-out for a year for better preparation for the final tests.

The recommended table for converting 2018 OGE scores into Russian language grades is published on the official website of FIPI (download).

The maximum number of points that an examinee can receive for completing the entire examination paper is 39 points.

The system for assessing the performance of individual tasks and the examination work as a whole

The answer to task 1 (summary) of part 1 of the work is evaluated according to specially developed criteria.

The maximum number of points for a concise presentation is 7.

For the correct completion of each task of part 2 of the work, the graduate receives 1 point. For an incorrect answer or its absence, zero points are given. The maximum number of points that an examinee who correctly completed the tasks of part 2 of the work can score is 13. The assessment of the answer to the task of part 3 of the work is carried out according to specially developed criteria.

The maximum number of points for an essay-reasoning (alternative task) is 9. The assessment of the practical literacy of the examinee and the actual accuracy of his written speech is made on the basis of checking the presentation and the essay as a whole and is 10 points.

Maximum Points, which the examinee can receive for completing the entire examination work - 39.

Exam papers are checked by two experts. According to the results of the check, the experts independently assign points for each answer to the tasks of the examination paper ... In case of a significant discrepancy in the points given by the two experts, a third check is assigned. A significant discrepancy in scores is determined in the assessment criteria for the corresponding academic subject.

The third expert is appointed by the chairman of the subject committee from among the experts who have not previously checked the examination paper.

The third expert is provided with information about the scores assigned by the experts who previously checked the student's examination work. The points given by the third expert are final.

A discrepancy of 10 or more points is considered significant, given by two experts for completing tasks 1 and 15 (the scores for all positions (criteria) for assessing the task by each expert are summed up: SG1–SG3, S1K1–S1K4, S2K1–S2K4, S3K1–S3K4, GK1– GK4, FK1). In this case, the third expert rechecks tasks 1 and 15 for all assessment positions.

Based on the points given for the completion of all tasks of the work, the total score is calculated, which is translated into a mark on a five-point scale.

The Main State Exam (OGE) is a test for every ninth grader! The exam is mandatory for all high school graduates, but ninth graders who want to continue their education in colleges are especially diligently preparing for it, because for admission it is necessary to demonstrate a high level of knowledge and, if possible, get the highest possible score.

It's time for future graduates to learn as much as possible about how exam papers are checked, and what the scale for converting OGE test scores into traditional grades will be in 2019.

What will the OGE look like in 2019?

If the USE reform is almost completed by 2019 and no fundamental changes are expected in KIMs for 11-graders, then the USE is only entering the reform stage. In the last 2017-2018 academic year, the number of subjects submitted for final certification was once again increased, and in 2019 students will have to take a total of 5 exams:

  • 2 compulsory: Russian language and mathematics;
  • 3 to choose from such disciplines as: physics, chemistry, history, computer science, foreign language, social studies, biology, geography and literature.

There is no official information about the introduction of the 6th exam yet. But earlier it was said that by 2020 the total number of items to be handed over will reach six.

The choice of a profile subject should not be random, because the result of the OGE directly affects the grade in the certificate and is the main selection criterion for profile classes.

Checking exam papers of the OGE

In 2019, ninth-graders from all regions of the Russian Federation will perform the same tasks, because, unlike in previous years, today the process of developing a single bank of tasks is actively underway, which will allow assessing the real level of students' knowledge.

As in 2018, 9th grade graduates will write papers on the basis of their educational institution, which significantly increases the chances of a good result. The examination of the exam papers of the OGE, as before, will be carried out by school teachers who have sufficient qualifications to become an expert of the GIA.

By analogy with the Unified State Examination, all works will be checked by two experts. If the opinions of specialists differ significantly, then a third expert will be involved in the verification process, whose opinion will become decisive.

If the student does not agree with the assessment of the experts, he can appeal and the work will be rechecked again, but by completely different experts who are part of the appeal commission.

During the test, for each correctly completed task, primary points are awarded, which are then transferred to the usual 5-point grade for schoolchildren.

Point conversion scale

Although FIPI has developed a unified standardized scale for converting primary OGE scores into grades, in 2019 (as before) other norms can be officially approved at the local level, taking into account regional characteristics.

So, for 2018, the following score transfer tables were approved, which with a high degree of probability will be relevant in the 2018-2019 academic year.

After reviewing the document, you can see that when grading in the Russian language and mathematics (all levels), not only the total total score is taken into account.

So, in Russian, to get an estimate:

  • "4" you need to score at least 4 points for literacy with 25-33 total points;
  • "5" - at least 6 points for literacy with 34-39 total.

Special requirements for the evaluation of works in mathematics are dictated by the fact that two subjects are submitted for the exam: algebra and geometry. Accordingly, the student must not only reach the minimum threshold, but demonstrate a certain level of knowledge in each of the main school disciplines in the "mathematics" course.

The threshold for entry into specialized classes and colleges also differs depending on the chosen direction:

Russian language

Mathematics

(natural science and economic profile)

Mathematics

(Fizmat profile)

Social science

Computer science

Literature

Foreign language

Biology

Geography

(with experiment)

(no experiment)

The general table for interpreting the OGE test scores in all subjects in 2019 will look like this:

Residents of regions where, in 2019, when determining the results of the OGE, the recommended unified scale for transferring points for graduates of grade 9 is taken as the basis, can also use a convenient online calculator, which can be found on the website 4ege.ru.

Retake the OGE

In 2018, more than 1.3 million ninth-graders took the OGE, most of whom passed the tests without any problems. But, as always, there are those who received an "unsatisfactory" rating. What awaits such ninth graders? There are several options for the development of events:

  1. Retake, which allows students who have no more than 2 unsatisfactory results.
  2. An academic year-long timeout, during which the student gets the opportunity to better prepare for the exam (perhaps by studying individually with teachers).

For 9th grade students, the beginning of spring is associated with preparation for the main state exam. The Institute of Pedagogical Measurements has developed a detailed program for the successful passing of the exam and a special scale for the distribution of grades in the score-to-assess ratio.

Scale for converting OGE 2018 scores into grades: the most common mistakes at the OGE

When passing the OGE in the Russian language, there are many spelling errors in the written part of the exam. This is mainly due to the inattention and confusion of schoolchildren. Before the exam, it is important to focus on reviewing your accumulated knowledge and concentrating on certain tasks.

Spelling “not or neither” in sentences is one of the biggest mistakes students make. It must be remembered that the difference between these two particles depends on the meaning of the phrase: “not” - denies, “neither” - strengthens.

Punctuation marks are also important. The best cure for this is to say the sentence in your head. This will allow you to intuitively place all the punctuation marks.

Errors in passing the exam in mathematics also have a similar character. All teachers focus on the confusion of students and the inability to correctly apply the well-known formulas.

In the section of the social studies exam “Man and Society”, words that are similar at first glance cause frequent confusion, but you should not be misled. It will be useful to simply flip through the dictionary of the meaning of certain words and build a chain of associations of these words in your head. Based on this knowledge, it will be possible to easily pass the exam.

In the "Economics" section, experts highlight such terms as extensive intensive growth. It must be remembered that the prefix "ex" is associated with external indicators, and "in" - with internal ones.

The most common mistake in the legal section is the misinterpretation of a misdemeanor and a crime. You need to pay attention to these points.

Of the typical mistakes in biology and geography, from the experience of past years, three main ones can be distinguished: the material of difficult-to-understand sections must be worked out independently at inopportune hours; carefully read the terms of the examination tasks; you should not randomly put answers to test tasks, you need to justify your choice.

Scale for converting OGE 2018 scores into grades: the ratio of scores to grade

Passing the main state exam will confirm the certificate of ninth graders. After the exam, there will be a transition to the 10th grade or admission to a college or technical school. To pass, the student will need to pass the final test in two main subjects and three selective ones. Points for completing tasks are converted into an assessment on a 5-point scale.

In Russian, you can score from 15 to 39 points, where 15 points will be equated to a mark of 3.

Results in the subject of mathematics should be in the range from 8 to 32 points.

The maximum number of points in the subject of social science is 39 points. You need to score a minimum of 15 points for a satisfactory grade in the subject.

When passing an exam in foreign languages, the required number of points varies between 29 and 70. The minimum and maximum number corresponds to marks 3 and 5.

The maximum number of points for the OGE in physics is 40, the minimum is 10.

The subject of chemistry is presented in two variations: with and without experiment. For the first option, you can get from 9 to 38 points, and for the second - 9-34 points.

For completing assignments in biology, you can get 46 points. The minimum allowable number of points in this subject is 13.

For a positive assessment in geography, you need to get at least 12 points. The mark “excellent” will correspond to 32 points.

In history, the student will have to score at least 13 points out of a possible 44.

On the exam in literature, you will need to get a minimum of 12 points. The maximum number of points will be 33, which corresponds to 5.

The maximum in computer science will be 22 points, and the minimum - 5 points per subject.

The final grades in the subjects will be used for the subsequent enrollment of students in and distribution to profile classes.

Scale for converting OGE 2018 scores into grades: the impact of the results of the OGE on the school certificate

In 2017, it was decided that the grade for the OGE would not be displayed in the school certificate of ninth graders, but would affect the final mark for a particular subject. Previously, in 2017, the result was taken into account only for the Russian language and mathematics, but starting from 2018, the OGE score will affect the grade in the certificate in selective subjects. When calculating the total score for the subject, the final grade will be rounded in favor of the student.

The minimum OGE scores are the threshold values for certification of a graduate in the 9th grade. In order to get a certificate of incomplete secondary education in 2016, you need to pass 4 exams: compulsory mathematics, Russian, and two optional exams.

The minimum OGE score in Russian is 15 primary points (at least 9 points for grammar). This minimum will not allow you to continue your education in the profile grade 10, for further education you need to score a profile score of 31. The minimum OGE score in mathematics is 8 (minimum in the “real mathematics” module and in the “geometry” module from 2 points for each and for module "algebra" from 3 points), profile - 30 points. Thus, in order to continue education in a specialized class, you need to score at least 30 points.

The graduate of 2016 takes the two remaining exams by choice. Information on the maximum and minimum OGE scores for other subjects is published on the official portals of the OGE. Minimums for subjects that can be taken at the OGE in 2016: 9 primary physics and chemistry (profile scores - 30 and 23), biology and history of Russia - 13 (profile 33 and 32), geography - 12 (profile - 24), social science - 15 (profile - 30), literature - 7 (profile - 15), computer science and ICT - 5 (profile - 15), foreign languages - 29 (profile - 56).

The minimum OGE score is an extreme option, it corresponds to a triple on a 5-point scale. For admission to colleges and technical schools on a budgetary basis, you need to have higher results.
