Another success story. "Quartet I": films with their participation, list and description

30.06.2019

Andrey Mironov, Vladislav Galkin, Andrey Krasko. People who burned themselves on stage and burned in life. That was Dmitry Maryanov. The actor is not fully appreciated, although very much in demand. The artist has the right not to go on stage only in one case - if he died. The ministers of Melpomene learn this maxim along with the system of Stanislavsky. And - alas - this is how Dmitry Maryanov lived.

Positive hero

Ambulance, police, drug clinic - a classic set of a typical series about investigators. Actor Dmitry Maryanov, who has played more than 80 film roles, knew this firsthand. The main role in the TV series "The Personal Life of Investigator Savelyev" fully corresponded to this style. And now - the cinema seemed to come into his life by itself. And we have yet to find out how this strange, famously twisted detective story will end, which began within the walls of a drug treatment clinic in Lobnya near Moscow on October 15 and ended there, alas, in Lobnya. “A blood clot came off” - so far everything that has been officially announced about the favorite of millions of viewers. But Dmitry's roles remain - a lot of bright roles, and also interviews in which he appears as a very cheerful, open, full of humor and - a completely healthy person.

Vocation - actor

Behind Dmitry Maryanov - dozens of roles, filming with great directors: Ryazanov, Valery and Pyotr Todorovsky, participation in numerous television shows.

Dmitry Maryanov began acting and playing in the theater as a child. They say about such people - an actor by vocation. Both films and roles seemed to rain down on him, as if from a cornucopia.

He was born in Moscow on December 1, 1969, in a simple Soviet working-class family, and he chose his future profession very early and completely independently. “How did you become an actor?”, - skeptics were perplexed. The father of the future actor was a simple garage equipment master, and his mother was an accountant. But the activity, curiosity and character of the boy brought him to the epicenter of the creative life of the capital.

As a child, Dima was seriously involved in sports - swimming, then boxing. As he later recalled, once his father told him: "Boxing will knock out all your brains," and then, in spite of him, he learned the chapters of "Vasily Terkin" by heart. Once, actors and directors came to the school where Dima studied - to recruit a class at the Theater School on Krasnaya Presnya, the now famous school 123. Everything was grown-up there: fencing, acrobatics, etudes. So by the age of 14, even before entering the Shchukin Theater School, Dima was already a real actor. And the test of glory came, perhaps too soon.

“If you see the world in blue light…”

Now, when you closely study the creative heritage of Dmitry Maryanov, you notice an amazing thing. His second, but first notable role in 1986 - Alik Raduga in the musical "Above the Rainbow" by Georgy Yungvald-Khilkevich left an indelible, almost mystical imprint on him. And all his subsequent life and even death today are perceived in the context of this role. It is no coincidence that literally everyone remembers her today in connection with the departure of the artist.

30 years after the release of the film, it was difficult to recognize a bald and plump actor as a slender boy with a fashionable haircut, who smiled in full close-up in the frames of a bright film amazing for today. But the smile remained the same - open, very kind and warm. And this was noted by absolutely everyone who knew Dmitry. In some ways he resembled Yevgeny Leonov - warmth, talent as a storyteller, interlocutor. Yes, and inner kindness, real - this cannot be faked, not played. By the way, in recent years, Dmitry dreamed of creating a shelter for homeless animals.

“I want to create a shelter for homeless animals. I understand that there are people who are in need, there are sick children, but many people help them anyway. Animals feel sorry for the reason that they themselves can not protect themselves from anger and aggression. My brother and I found our first cat under the layers of tar paper that covered the roof. We heard a meow and found a cute tricolor kitten, black, red and white. They took it home. This cat has lived with us for a long time. And then we always had pets. Now dad has a cat, I have a parrot, ”Maryanov said in an interview.

In 1986, two films were released at once with the participation of the young Dima Maryanov. He was only 14 years old when he became a real star, starring with Boyarsky, Kuklachev, Olga Mashna. The film features songs by Pugacheva and Vladimir Presnyakov Jr.

All the girls of the Soviet Union were in love with a handsome boy, speaking, however, in the voice of Dmitry Kharatyan, and singing in the voice of Vladimir Persnyakov. However, unlike other young stars of the same film, who left and got lost, never recognized the true acting happiness of being in demand, Dima's fate was different. Very happy.

The first activity of the theater took place on the stage of GITIS, where four graduates created their first comedy "These are just stamps", which was based on typical student jokes.

In addition to successful activities in the theater and cinema, the participants of the Quartet I theater also regularly appeared for some time on the STS TV channel in the Mind Games entertainment and intellectual show as regular participants in the program (one of the teams participating in the competition). In early 2010, Quartet I starred in two episodes of the TV show Quartet I on RenTV. On January 23, 2011, Channel One released the first release of a new humorous improvisation-based program “Show Ni be ni me is robust”, the participants of which are also the artists of the Quartet I.

Criticism and reviews

"Quartet I" has been specializing in the entertainment of the public for more than ten years and has achieved considerable success in this field. The play "Radio Day" with the participation of Alexei Kortnev and the "Accident" group and its continuation "Election Day"Became hits that the public breaks into, usually preferring cinema theaters and nightclubs.

M. Shimadina, Kommersant

"Quartet I" is very different from many of its colleagues, "trading" a fun genre. To the public, speaking in a high style, they come out with a sense of responsibility. And tirelessly invents something new and funny, sometimes dangerously balancing in the field of political satire, which even the most daring and full-time domestic satirists hardly indulge in today.

G. Zaslavsky, Nezavisimaya Gazeta

According to the writer and director E. V. Grishkovets, the work of the theater is “sloppy in every sense”, and at the same time they are a great audience success:

It doesn’t matter that there is no acting skills, no idea of stage culture, no clear understanding of what they are doing and why… They force people to listen to themselves with their pressure and confidence. And the fact that they began to listen only strengthened this confidence. A chain reaction ensued. It doesn’t matter that the guys have read little plays, they don’t know the laws of composition, they don’t know how and why plays are written, they don’t know how a movie is made, what is the relationship between the author and the character, they don’t know what plot and plot are, and they hardly know what is between them a difference. They have a conviction in their uniqueness, and this attracts!" ... "confident that the natural mind, talent, perseverance, charm, sense of humor will replace all this with a vengeance. And it worked! It worked and convinced them that they were completely right.

The quartet clearly wanted a completely resounding success, fame, recognition and big money. But not at any cost! Definitely not at the cost of parting with their environment and, most importantly, with their audience... But the Quartet wanted to step into art. This is a completely understandable step for those who are trying to grow. But they did not know how to do it and were afraid of lack of money. Therefore, they continued to make amorphous and careless, but with a claim to art, productions that they sincerely considered performances. Oh, if they had critical acclaim, a couple of awards, or the laureate of some big festival ... I'm sure that their next step would be different.

At the same time, the writer notes the originality of the theater (“they always went their own way. Somewhere between the stage with KVN and art. At the same time, they adhered to advanced trends.”), its significance (“the phenomenon is very noticeable, iconic and, in any case, deserving attention”) and believes that they deservedly achieved their success: “The I Quartet is a team firmly standing with all eight feet on the ground. They have a huge audience, they always sell out (this is true, I saw it myself), and the audience is well dressed, able to buy tickets at prices that many will not go for me. They have a good audience (no irony). They are coveted at corporate parties. Their films have had outstanding success at the box office."

An excerpt characterizing the Quartet And

After the return of Alpatych from Smolensk, the old prince, as it were, suddenly came to his senses from a dream. He ordered to gather militia from the villages, arm them and wrote a letter to the commander-in-chief, in which he informed him of his intention to remain in the Bald Mountains to the last extreme, to defend himself, leaving it at his discretion to take or not to take measures to protect the Bald Mountains, in which he would be taken one of the oldest Russian generals was captured or killed, and announced to his family that he was staying in Lysy Gory.
But, remaining himself in the Bald Mountains, the prince ordered the dispatch of the princess and Desal with the little prince to Bogucharovo and from there to Moscow. Princess Mary, frightened by the feverish, sleepless activity of her father, which replaced his former omission, could not make up her mind to leave him alone and for the first time in her life allowed herself to disobey him. She refused to go, and a terrible thunderstorm of the prince's anger fell upon her. He reminded her of everything he had done wrong with her. Trying to accuse her, he told her that she had tormented him, that she had quarreled with him, that she had nasty suspicions against him, that she had made it her life's task to poison his life, and drove her out of his office, telling her that if she he won't leave, he doesn't care. He said that he did not want to know about her existence, but he warned her in advance that she should not dare to catch his eye. The fact that, contrary to Princess Mary's fears, he did not order her to be taken away by force, but only did not order her to show herself, pleased Princess Mary. She knew that this proved that in the very secret of his soul he was glad that she stayed at home and did not leave.
The next day after Nikolushka's departure, the old prince put on his full uniform in the morning and got ready to go to the commander-in-chief. The wheelchair has already been served. Princess Marya saw how he, in uniform and all the orders, left the house and went into the garden to review the armed peasants and the yard. Princess Mary saw at the window, listening to his voice, which was heard from the garden. Suddenly, several people ran out of the alley with frightened faces.
Princess Mary ran out onto the porch, onto the flower path and into the alley. A large crowd of militiamen and courtyards was advancing towards her, and in the middle of this crowd several people were dragging a little old man in a uniform and medals by the arms. Princess Marya ran up to him and, in the play of small circles of falling light, through the shadow of the linden alley, could not give herself an account of what a change had taken place in his face. One thing that she saw was that the former stern and resolute expression of his face was replaced by an expression of timidity and submissiveness. When he saw his daughter, he moved his helpless lips and wheezed. It was impossible to understand what he wanted. They picked him up, carried him into the office and laid him on the sofa, which he had been so afraid of lately.
The doctor brought in bled the same night and announced that the prince had a stroke on the right side.
It became more and more dangerous to stay in the Bald Mountains, and the next day after the prince's blow, they were taken to Bogucharovo. The doctor went with them.
When they arrived in Bogucharovo, Desalle and the little prince had already left for Moscow.
Still in the same position, no worse and no better, paralyzed, the old prince lay for three weeks in Bogucharovo in a new house built by Prince Andrei. The old prince was unconscious; he lay like a mutilated corpse. He kept mumbling something, twitching his eyebrows and lips, and it was impossible to know whether he understood or not what surrounded him. One thing could be known for sure - this is that he suffered and felt the need to express something more. But what it was, no one could understand; was it some whim of a sick and half-mad man, did it relate to the general course of affairs, or did it relate to family circumstances?
The doctor said that the anxiety he expressed meant nothing, that it had physical causes; but Princess Marya thought (and the fact that her presence always increased his anxiety confirmed her assumption), she thought that he wanted to tell her something. He obviously suffered both physically and mentally.
There was no hope for a cure. It was impossible to take him. And what would happen if he died dearly? “Would it not be better if it were the end, the end at all! Princess Mary sometimes thought. She watched him day and night, almost without sleep, and, scary to say, she often watched him, not with the hope of finding signs of relief, but watched, often wishing to find signs of the approach of the end.
Strange as it was, the princess was aware of this feeling in herself, but it was in her. And what was even more terrible for Princess Marya was that since the time of her father’s illness (even almost earlier, wasn’t it then, when she, expecting something, stayed with him), all those who had fallen asleep in her woke up in her, forgotten personal desires and hopes. What had not occurred to her for years - thoughts about a free life without the eternal fear of her father, even thoughts about the possibility of love and family happiness, like the temptations of the devil, were constantly rushing through her imagination. No matter how she pushed herself away from herself, questions constantly came to her mind about how she would arrange her life now, after that. These were the temptations of the devil, and Princess Marya knew this. She knew that the only weapon against him was prayer, and she tried to pray. She became in the position of prayer, looked at the images, read the words of the prayer, but could not pray. She felt that now she was embraced by another world - worldly, difficult and free activity, completely opposite to the moral world in which she had been imprisoned before and in which prayer was the best consolation. She could not pray and could not cry, and worldly care seized her.
Staying in Vogucharovo became dangerous. From all sides they could hear about the approaching French, and in one village, fifteen miles from Bogucharov, the estate was plundered by French marauders.
The doctor insisted that the prince should be taken further; the leader sent an official to Princess Mary, persuading her to leave as soon as possible. The police officer, having arrived in Bogucharovo, insisted on the same, saying that the French were forty miles away, that French proclamations were circulating in the villages, and that if the princess did not leave with her father before the fifteenth, then he would not be responsible for anything.
The princess on the fifteenth decided to go. The worries of preparations, giving orders, for which everyone turned to her, occupied her all day. She spent the night from the fourteenth to the fifteenth, as usual, without undressing, in the room next to the one in which the prince lay. Several times, waking up, she heard his groaning, muttering, the creaking of the bed, and the steps of Tikhon and the doctor turning him over. Several times she listened at the door, and it seemed to her that today he muttered louder than usual and tossed and turned more often. She could not sleep and several times approached the door, listening, wanting to enter and not daring to do so. Although he did not speak, Princess Marya saw, knew how unpleasant any expression of fear for him was to him. She noticed how dissatisfied he turned away from her gaze, sometimes involuntarily and stubbornly directed at him. She knew that her arrival at night, at an unusual time, would annoy him.
But she had never been so sorry, she had never been so afraid of losing him. She recalled her whole life with him, and in every word and deed of him she found an expression of his love for her. Occasionally, between these memories, the temptations of the devil burst into her imagination, thoughts about what would happen after his death and how her new, free life would be arranged. But with disgust she drove away these thoughts. By morning it was quiet, and she fell asleep.
She woke up late. The sincerity that comes with awakening clearly showed her what occupied her most in her father's illness. She woke up, listened to what was behind the door, and, hearing his groaning, told herself with a sigh that everything was the same.
- But what to be? What did I want? I want him dead! she cried out in disgust at herself.
She dressed, washed, read prayers and went out onto the porch. Horseless carriages were brought up to the porch, in which things were being packed.
The morning was warm and grey. Princess Mary stopped on the porch, never ceasingly horrified by her spiritual abomination and trying to put her thoughts in order before entering him.
The Doctor stepped down the stairs and approached her.
"He's better today," said the doctor. - I was looking for you. You can understand something from what he says, the head is fresher. Let's go. He is calling you...
Princess Mary's heart beat so violently at this news that she turned pale and leaned against the door so as not to fall. To see him, to talk to him, to fall under his gaze now, when Princess Mary's whole soul was overwhelmed by these terrible criminal temptations, was excruciatingly joyful and terrible.
“Come on,” the doctor said.
Princess Marya went in to her father and went up to the bed. He lay high on his back, with his small, bony hands covered with lilac knotted veins, on the blanket, with his left eye fixed straight and his right eye squinting, with motionless eyebrows and lips. He was all so thin, small and miserable. His face seemed to have shriveled or melted, shrunken features. Princess Mary came up and kissed his hand. His left hand squeezed her hand so that it was clear that he had been waiting for her for a long time. He tugged at her hand, and his eyebrows and lips moved angrily.
She looked at him fearfully, trying to guess what he wanted from her. When she shifted her position and shifted so that her left eye could see her face, he calmed down, not taking his eyes off her for a few seconds. Then his lips and tongue moved, sounds were heard, and he began to speak, timidly and imploringly looking at her, apparently afraid that she would not understand him.
Princess Mary, straining all her powers of attention, looked at him. The comic labor with which he rolled his tongue forced Princess Marya to lower her eyes and with difficulty suppress the sobs rising in her throat. He said something, repeating his words several times. Princess Mary could not understand them; but she tried to guess what he was saying, and repeated inquiringly the elephants he had said.
“Gaga – fights… fights…” he repeated several times. It was impossible to understand these words. The doctor thought that he had guessed right, and, repeating his words, asked: is the princess afraid? He shook his head negatively and repeated the same thing again...
“My soul, my soul hurts,” Princess Mary guessed and said. He moaned affirmatively, took her hand and began to press it to various places on his chest, as if looking for a real place for her.
- All thoughts! about you… thoughts,” he then spoke much better and more clearly than before, now that he was sure that he was understood. Princess Mary pressed her head against his hand, trying to hide her sobs and tears.
He ran his hand through her hair.
“I called you all night…” he said.
“If I knew…” she said through her tears. - I was afraid to enter.
He shook her hand.
- Didn't you sleep?
“No, I didn’t sleep,” said Princess Mary, shaking her head negatively. Involuntarily obeying her father, she now, just as he spoke, tried to speak more in signs and, as it were, also with difficulty rolling her tongue.

« Quartet I"was created in Moscow in 1993 by a group of graduates of the pop faculty of GITIS. The composition of the theater has not changed throughout its existence: Leonid Barats, Alexander Demidov, Kamil Larin and Rostislav Khait. In addition, numerous artists, musicians and showmen take part in the performances of the Quartet I. Theater director - Sergey Petreykov.

Rostislav Khait: “I remember how director Sergey Petreykov said that “etudes are obtained only when one of these four takes part in them.” And he named four of our names. I remember how we sat in the apartment that I rented and discussed the name. And Sasha Demidov came up with the name: "Quartet I".

Quartet I spent its first season on the stage of its native GITIS. Then there was only one performance in the theater repertoire - "These are only stamps", which was based on student sketches of actors. The premiere of this comedy took place in October 1993.

The performance "These are just stamps" was successfully staged for many years and disappeared from the repertoire only in 2002.

A year and a half later, in May 1995, "Quartet I" presented to the public their new work - "La Comedy, or We will entertain you with all the means that are good." In 1998, the premiere of the next performance, called "Acting Games", took place. In addition to the Quartet, the authors of the program “The director himself” A. Zhigalkin and E. Radzyukevich, as well as the actor of the Lenkom Theater D. Maryanov took part in it.

In the play "Acting Games" for the first time on the Russian stage, the popular in many countries genre of "improvisational show" was presented, when the artists receive a theme from the audience and act out sketches.

In 2001, Radio Day appeared, which became a real hit. This performance combined a comedy on the verge of farce and a rock concert. The music for the performance was created by Alexey Kortnev and the group "Accident", and the play itself was written by the members of the "Quartet I" L. Barats, S. Petreykov and R. Khait. The production was attended by the producer of Nashe Radio Mikhail Kozyrev, actors Dmitry Maryanov, Maxim Vitorgan and Nonna Grishaeva. The play "Radio Day" is a huge success with the audience.

Two years later, in 2003, the continuation of Radio Day appears. In the play "Election Day", the musicians of the "Accident" group, as well as Mikhail Politseymako, Valdis Pelsh, Fedor Dobronravov and others rejoin the theater. The performance enjoyed no less success than Radio Day, which prompted the artists of Kvarter I to create films of the same name.

In the following years, the performances Manifestations of Love (2005), Faster Than Rabbits (2005), Fear of a Soap Bubble (2006), Middle-aged Men Talk about Women, Movies and Aluminum Forks (2008) appeared. In parallel, Quartet I was engaged in creative and literary activities for radio and television projects.

In 2007 and 2008, the comedy films Election Day and Radio Day were released, thanks to which the I Quartet became even more popular.

In 2010, a film adaptation of the play "Middle-aged men talk about women, movies and aluminum forks" was released. The film is called What Men Talk About.

The growing popularity of the theater made it possible to create, under the auspices of the Quartet I, the project “Another Theater”, which promotes dramaturgy staged by young directors. In 2009, the play Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead based on the play by the English playwright Tom Stoppard was presented.

Leonid Barats: “I think it was the right step for us to somehow change the format. We need to modify somehow. Because we began to repeat ourselves a little and go in circles.

In 2018, the Quartet I celebrated the 25th anniversary of its existence with the play Letters and Songs of Men with the participation of Alexander Gradsky and the Time Machine and Chaif groups.

Initially, on the posters of the play “Letters and Songs of Men”, timed to coincide with the anniversary, the round date of the theater was not indicated, and tickets for the performance were sold rather poorly. Then the quarter participants guessed to make new posters indicating the 25th anniversary, and ticket sales immediately increased.

Alexandra Demidova left her mother at the age of seven, and Camille Larin made a living selling juice and cognac

22 years ago, GITIS graduates - Leonid BARATs, Rostislav Khait, Kamil LARIN, Alexander DEMIDOV and Sergey PETREYKOV - created the Quartet I theater. For the first three or four years, he lived on the money that Petreykov took from foreigners for renting his apartment. Soon their performances began to generate income.
However, along with success, almost every one of the guys had problems in their personal lives. Someone managed to cope with the crisis, and someone got new families. And now the Quartet is in full chocolate.
The path to phenomenal success was thorny. The main milestones in the life of fashionable artists are in our impromptu alphabet.

"Agatha Christie"
In the clips of this group, the participants of the Quartet I were filmed more than once. For example, in "The Sailor" Barats and Khait played orderlies carrying a stretcher with the corpse of a sailor, and in "Merry World" they played rioters in straitjackets.

Barats
It is generally accepted that this surname is formed from the Hebrew abbreviation, which means "son of the righteous rabbi." Leonid's father, by the way, is a journalist. And Lenya himself is not at all gay, as some thought after Election Day, but quite the opposite.

great
"Thanks" to this vehicle, ninth grader Sasha Demidov lost his first love. I became close with Lenochka during the summer holidays. The girl, like him, came to the village to visit relatives. He had his first kiss with this girl. Under the cover of night, the couple climbed into the barn, leaving the bikes at the entrance. At first, Sasha and Lena looked at each other for a long time, then they touched each other with their little fingers, then they hugged, and only at dawn Sasha tasted the taste of her lips. There was nothing left to the main thing, but milkmaids passed by the barn and, seeing the bikes, they realized: the teenagers inside staged debauchery. Mighty aunts almost broke down the door - the frightened Sanya held the defense with all his strength and did not allow outsiders to enter the barn. After that, Lenochka's parents immediately took her home. They never saw each other again.

"Demidov BAND"
This is the name of Alexander's musical project, created by him in 2011. The artist has been passionate about music for over 20 years. The style in which he works is described as bard-rock. He performs together with the group "Beavers".

Zhvanetsky
Thanks to Michal Mikhalych, Slava Khait entered GITIS. The guy prepared badly, it was clear that he was flying by. Then the father - Valery Khait, the captain of the famous Odessa KVN team of 1967 - 1970 - asked an old acquaintance to put in a good word in front of the selection committee. And all at once, of course, grew together.

Ginger tincture
In September, freshmen were taken to the collective farm for potatoes. There, childhood friends Khait and Barats found two new friends - Demidov and Larina. They were brought together by ginger bitters for 3.50, which the guys bought in the evenings in the nearest village. Sasha then got drunk for the first time. Sitting on the arm of a stone Lenin, he got drunk, fell on the asphalt, smashed his face, and in the morning he began to tell everyone, pointing to bruises and scratches, that it was Barats and Khait who beat him. In retaliation the next night, sleeping soundly (after again ginger) Sanya, the guys carried Sanya straight with the bed to the women's toilet.

red socks
Baratz pulled them on when he was entrusted with leading the graduation party at school. The kid thought he looked really cool in them. And Leonid borrowed the costume from his aunt's husband. Those stupid socks are still remembered by his friends.

Bulb
She saved the schoolboy Barats from long studies in the music room. Before the lesson, Lenya ate a whole head and, entering the teacher's office, began to diligently breathe an unpleasant smell on it. The teacher's patience was enough for 15 minutes.

Misprints
At the beginning of their theatrical business in newspapers and posters, the guys were constantly pursued by funny typos. For example, instead of the performance “These are only stamps”, “Only pants” was indicated, “the comic theater“ Quartet I ”was called“ commercial ”, and the surname“ Khait ”was written through“ th ”.

Shameful embarrassment
Thanks to this occasion, Rostislav Khait became forever friends with Leonid Barats. It happened in second grade. “Sorry, I messed up,” Slava admitted in an interview, “and asked Lesha not to tell anyone about this, but quickly call my mother to come and pick me up. After that, he ran into the classroom and told all the guys about my embarrassment. Everyone in turn came to see me. So we got it, as Dovlatov said about his wife: “This is not love, but fate!”

Reichelgauz
Iosif Leonidovich, artistic director of the Moscow theater "School of the modern play", Leonid Barats is a relative. Reichelgauz is also from Odessa ..

Sabelka
The only requisite that was available on the farm of the newly created Quartet I. The artists had the number "Butterfly and Grasshopper". When the spider threw a web on the butterfly, Khait jumped out - a grasshopper with a saber. “Nothing special, but for some reason people laughed,” remarks Rostislav.

Ballroom pianist
He was played by Leonid Barats in the 90s in the video of the group "Combination" for the song "Accountant". Also, by the way, Lesha (as Barats is called by friends for some reason) appeared in those years in the video “Ladoshki” by Svetlana Roerich, where young Maxim Averin also flashed in the background. And Kamil Larin about that time “shone” in the video “The Boy Wants to Tambov” by Murat Nasyrov.

Black tuxedo for $500
At the dawn of his career, having chipped in, the artists bought it (then it was big money) for Kamil, so that he could hold the wedding of some huckster in it and at least earn something for the team. This was Larin's first experience as an entertainer. Since then, the guys have decided: we share the money equally, even if we earn them one by one. By the way, Kamil at one time also earned extra money by reselling juice and cognac to stalls - a friend from Armenia supplied cheap drinks.

Scars on the wrists
They stayed with Demidov and Barats in memory of the unsuccessful group suicide that Sasha and Lenya started to prove to their classmates, Sveta Pesotskaya and Anya Kasatkina, how strong their feelings are. Fortunately, they did not get to the veins, but my hands were badly scratched - I had to walk in bandages for several days.

"I forgive you!"

Four years ago, Demidov said these words to his own mother, who left him at the age of seven. Sasha's parents broke up shortly after his birth. The boy lived with his mother, grandparents in Shadrinsk (200 km from Sverdlovsk). The old men drank heavily, and the boy was left to his own devices. Having breakfasted free belyashi with cocoa, which the grandmother sold, Sashka hung out on the street until late at night.
Once a thin and dirty little boy was accidentally met by another grandmother - on the paternal side. She took Sasha to her father, who at that time worked as a policeman in Ryazan.
Demidov somehow briefly crossed paths with his mother when he was already 12, then after a long break - in the mid-90s, having already become an artist. In those years, Alexander had many problems on the personal front, nervous breakdowns began to occur, after which he fell into depression for a long time. Saved by alcohol. In one of these difficult moments, he met with his mother and said: “I forgive you! And I don't hold grudges." Then for the first time in many years he called her mother.

* Everyone, except Khait, has two children: Barats has daughters Liza and Eva, Larin has sons Jan and Daniyar, Demidov has daughter Sofia and son Ignat. Even the director Petreykov had two daughters in four marriages.
* Mom of Leni Barats - Zoya Isaevna, who worked for many years in a kindergarten as a methodologist, taught Ksenia Sobchak how to make delicious cheesecakes, with which she now treats her husband Maxim Vitorgan for breakfast.
* The most exemplary family man is Leonid Barats. With his wife Anna Kasatkina, who in the early years was also an actress of the Quartet I theater, he met at the entrance exams at GITIS. “When I saw her in a gray, tight-fitting short dress, I realized that we just couldn’t be friends,” recalls Barats. Their marriage is 23 years old.

Quotes

Vladimir POZNER:
- I adore Quartet I because they know how to joke phenomenally and not smile at the same time!

Evgeny GRISHKOVETS:
- They have a conviction in their uniqueness, and it attracts!

The Quartet I Theater was founded in 1993 by a group of graduates of the Variety Faculty of GITIS (actors Leonid Barats, Alexander Demidov, Kamil Larin, Rostislav Khait and director Sergei Petreykov).
In October 1993, the Kvartet I Theater opened its first season on the stage of the GITIS Theater (Bolshoi Gnezdnikovsky per. 10). The theater's repertoire includes the only performance "These are only stamps" - a bright variety show, born from student sketches and parodying the stamps of the theater, stage, cinema and life itself.
In 1995-2000, performances were staged at the theater: “La Comedy, or We will entertain you with all the means that are good”, “Acting Games”, “La Comedy-2, or a Completely Different Story with Elements of Great Art”.
In March 2001, the premiere of the play "Radio Day" took place. The authors of the play are members of the Quartet L. Barats, S. Petreykov and R. Khait, the songwriters are A. Kortnev and the group "Accident". The genre of the performance is unique, it is a fusion of comedy on the verge of farce, documentary "production" drama and rock concert. In 2006, new performers appeared: Dmitry Pevtsov and the BoBRy group. They begin to play "in double" with Alexei Kortnev and "Accident". "Radio Day" takes on a new breath.

In November 2003, another legendary performance was staged - "Election Day". This is a continuation of the story started in The Day of Radio. Popular showmen V. Pelsh and V. Utkin, actors E. Strizhenova, A. Makarov, F. Dobronravov, M. Politseymako and others join the artists of the "Quartet" and the musicians of "Accident". Alexander Pashutin and Valery Barinov act as a "special guest" in the brightly grotesque role of General Burdun. Later, Georgy Martirosyan joins them, and in October 2004, Alexander Tsekalo is introduced as a candidate for governor.

In 2005-2006 performances were staged: "Faster than rabbits", "Middle-aged men talk about women, movies and aluminum forks"
