These fundamental considerations, however, are completely alien to modern urban man. For him, a year is only an abstract, temporary concept, which does not differ in any way from all other periods of time with which modern "economic and scientific" life operates. The year is known to him from a desk calendar, business notebooks, and a certain wardrobe change. With the rhythm of creation, such a modern city man is no longer connected in any way. His contact with God's Year in nature occurs sporadically, during holidays or natural disasters. In order to return to the experience of the Year, modern man must "heal" from his civilized existence, which is tearing him away from the experience of being, despite the fact that the pace of work and life is becoming faster and faster, and the break with the great human Year of the fate-life of man increases. It is precisely the “healing” that modern “social” people should be, freed from all the natural laws of God-Year, turning night into day, and day into night, looking for “optimal use of time”, while time, in fact, uses them, destroying them. God's Year in nature would give them renewal, but they can no longer find the inner way to it. If they still understood their own meaning, they would never have set off in a mad pursuit of Mammon, making money the goal of life, they would not have begun to consider the senseless industrialization and enlargement of cities inevitable, they would not have wallowed in deep materialism, which sealed their poverty, weakness and the insignificance of their souls, the souls of "modern humanity." This clearly shows the destruction of bodily strength, which is a consequence of the "modern life" of cities. They try to overcome weakness and resort back to God's Year when other means no longer help. But the reasons for this, which remain intact, they do not notice and do not want to notice. And the main reason is their falling away from the eternal life rhythm of God's Year. Therefore, they do not live by themselves, but they are lived by something extraneous, alien; they rot in body and soul, grow old already in their youth.

God's Year as a Nordic Experience
The whole spiritual culture of the Nordic race once developed from the unity and vital rhythm of the God Year: the Year lay at the basis of its experience of God and knowledge of God, and from its imprinting in hieroglyphs, the signs of the "sacred Yearly Series", all writing systems in the world developed. As today we transmit knowledge through writing, so once writing itself arose as a transfer of the highest Knowledge about the Divine Revelation in the Universe, Knowledge about the annual path of the "Light of the World" coming from God. But nowhere in our world is the experience of Light so deep as where the opposition of Light and Darkness, Day and Night is most distinct. Only the Far North knows God's Year in the full unity of its opposites, in the law of its return, in the infinite, eternal richness of its movement, in which life is constantly renewed. Neither the eternal summer of the tropical regions, nor the pale compromises of the southern, Mediterranean climate know this experience. Only one single Nordic Winter, when the Light of God descends deeper and deeper in its daily path, the day is shortened, the night is lengthened, until, finally, the Light is completely drowned in the deathly darkness of the winter night, in order to then again come to a new rise and awaken from death all life. The Mystery of the Winter Solstice is the most sacred and highest experience of the Nordic soul. It reveals the great, divine law of eternal return, the Law, according to which every death is becoming, and death leads to Life through the Light of God.

This article was written under the influence of the recently held traditionalist round table dedicated to the work of M. Eliade.
The very name "Traditionalism before the question" was borrowed by us from one of the speakers, who titled his article exactly like this: "Traditionalism before the question." Of course, being a "famous" scientist, our author did not go further than the "traditional" plagiarism of an introductory article to one of M. Eliade's books.

Without really bothering himself, copying a short biography of Eliade, indicating the names of people, their influence on the early Eliade, the author most likely decided that the problem was solved, and, as usual, the most graphic compilation in the absence of the author’s thoughts, won the applause of academic scientists, for which such conferences are just an excuse to push their next insignificant article into some regular scientific little-read collection.

Of course, having listed the facts from the life of Eliade, and the influence of some insignificant characters that happened in the life of Eliade, our author did not approach the essence of the problem he posed one iota, nor, as often happens, did not at all adhere to the context of the question he posed. . But let us leave our scholars and return to the more serious problems of the study of Tradition.

If we correctly understand the essence of traditionalism, then we can schematically and rather roughly divide traditionalism into two opposing camps: these are the Orientalists, who adhere to the idea of ​​Ex Oriente Lux and representatives of the Western wing of traditionalism, who preach the ideas of the Light of the North: Ex Nord Lux, for whom Orientalist criticism is a terrible blasphemy and a total lack of understanding of the entire depth of the Northern Tradition, evidence of which is generously scattered throughout Europe in the form of ancient artifacts, including the entire complex of archaeological and written monuments of antiquity. This should also include all the broad material that is integrated into the so-called Christian tradition.

We will not make a mistake if we give the name of René Guénon, this reactionary Orientalist, who, wittingly or unwittingly, started discord in the traditionalist camp, forever dividing them into opposing sides of East and West.
However, we will make a reservation that Western traditionalism is a very incorrect phenomenon in our opinion, therefore, we will here mean the phenomenon of the Northern Tradition.
In his book “The Crisis of the Modern World”, Guénon writes: “Some people, without having taken the trouble to properly read the books we have written, for some reason consider it their duty to reproach us for allegedly asserting that all traditional doctrines come from the East, and that even in the era of Western antiquity, the West invariably drew its traditions exclusively from the East. We have never written and could not write anything like this, if only because we know very well that this is completely untrue. In fact, these Traditions clearly contradict such an idea: there is reliable evidence that the Primordial Tradition of this cycle came from the Hyperborean regions. Later there were several secondary streams of this Primordial Tradition, corresponding to different periods of history, and one of the most important of them, at least the one whose traces can still be discerned, undoubtedly moved from West to East. However, all these considerations refer to very distant times, which are usually called "Prehistory" and which we are not going to analyze here.

So softly and ethically, Guenon, without denying the Northern Tradition, nevertheless persistently denies It, in view of the fact that “the center of the Primordial Tradition has been located in the East for a very long time and up to the present moment, and secondly, for Guenon, the true spirit of the Tradition with all that it contains in itself, it is represented only and exclusively by the people of the East, and by no one else.

Thus, this extensive surface-party genonism with two frankly not deep theses creates something that can be called a destructive information bookmark that sharply separates the concept of Tradition and traditionalism, as well as the vector of Tradition is completely groundless and willfully shifted by Guenon to the East.

It is at this point that a rough segregation and selection of truths convenient and inconvenient for Guénon takes place; the actual rejection of the era of true Tradition, a clear unwillingness to see what all the signs and symbols are trying to talk to a person of our time. In fact, Guénon takes the path of least resistance, turning to primitive oriental mysticism, passes off the later as the earlier, raises the degraded and distorted knowledge to the shield, proclaiming all this to be the center of "tradition".

On such a frankly pop-comic and low content focus, Guenon earned himself the name of a great genius, became a trendsetter of traditionalist fashion, confusing all the cards, replacing truth with a lie, mixing the concepts of CULTURE, TRADITION AND CIVILIZATION, Guenon and still enjoys great success among those who completely divorced from the little-known teachings of the Tradition of the North, but also from an understanding of the cultural and historical development of Europe. So Guenon and his followers for a long time actually closed the path to research into the primordial tradition of the North.

Conscious and frankly vulgar gesheft Guenon laid the foundation for many curiosities in the world of traditionalists.
Guenon, as a critic of the Atlantean tradition, does not take into account either the artifacts of antiquity, or the material of legends and legends, or the deep essence of myths, songs, rites, legends and rituals, i.e. all that could not destroy the Christianity sung by Guénon.
However, Guénon's superficiality is already clear from his own reasoning about that. what does he mean by "Western Tradition".

This is of course a paradox, but the great Guénon, by "Western tradition", means something that is constructed by the occultists (Sic!), and that Eastern version of the "tradition" adapted for Europe, which is constructed by Theosophists.
Reading these arguments, you involuntarily come to the conclusion: either this person does not understand what he is writing about at all, or to the conclusion that Guenon deftly and consciously constructs a comfortable intellectual climate for the construction and triumph of his version of Orientalist traditionalism.

After all, if you think about it, then in reality it turns out that the “great” Guenon, as a true warrior of the Eastern Tradition, in a characteristic eastern manner of fighting, i.e. stabbing the enemy in the back, chooses as rivals not the Northern Tradition itself, or even the late Western Tradition, but only the fabrications of Western occultists and theosophists, who in fact were carriers of degenerate, frail and wretched Eastern knowledge seasoned with the ideas of rationalism and pantheism, Christian mysticism, eternally misunderstood ideas of the Gnostics, eternally falsely interpreted and falsely translated ideas of the Neoplatonists, Kabbalists of the European flood and all that vulgar-occult company of rogues, rogues and swindlers from occultism, which in its essence never even carried in itself even fragments of the ancient primordial Tradition of the North.

It turns out that the criticism of Guénon, in general, did not touch either Sevren itself or the later Western Tradition. The comicality of the situation lies in the fact that when criticizing something, Guenon actually fought with chimeras and emptiness, since not a single word from his criticism was actually even aimed at the goal of what could somehow be attributed to the Tradition of the North.

Further, Guénon makes an even more interesting conclusion about the impossibility of restoring and even reconstructing the Atlantean-Nordic tradition.
Guénon's statement is: "Such studies are by no means capable of leading to the complete restoration of a tradition that is completely unsuited to the conditions of the modern world."
Isn't it a paradox?

In the book Crisis of the Modern World, the great traditionalist indulges in speculative and primitive fabrications that Tradition should be adapted to the realities of modernity. However, for the singers of the "traditions" of the Eastern market, for the hucksters of liars and the nouveau riches of Orientalism, the Semitic adaptability of "tradition" to modernity is probably the norm and the law. For some reason, Guénon cannot understand the difference between the peoples who create culture and the peoples who carry culture.

But here's the paradox; everyone leaving this kind of "sacred" institutions still feels understatement, some kind of incompleteness, emptiness, falsity of those modern authorities, cults and churches that tell us something about "higher truths". Everyone feels some kind of rough and rationally dogmatized limit and boundary, and only going beyond the boundaries of such a temple, a person raises his gaze to the Sun or the starry sky, and it is there, without any teachings and dogmas, that the true illumination-merge of a person with the Cosmos takes place, an indescribable feeling completeness and absolute.

It is for this reason that all nature was a temple for the so-called "pagans", and they turned their eyes not to the church ceiling, painted with pictures of non-existent worlds, but to the living cosmic force - SKY, SPACE, NATURE.

Holism says that a person is a microcosm, is a part of the Cosmos itself, there is a subtle world in which the great mystery of the World is reflected.
This is how one can schematically represent the deep difference between Tradition and religion, because any religion is just a small fragment of Tradition.

And this is not surprising, A. Platov, unlike the primitive Guenonian Islamism, operates with factual material, relies on rich scientific material, interprets and analyzes the facts of the most ancient TRADITION, which can no longer be ignored. In truth, those facts and the rich and inexhaustible material that Europe gives us cannot be ignored by any self-respecting scientist. Of course, I'm not talking about physicists, engineers and other mathematicians.

When we say the word "scientist", we certainly mean historians of religions, ethnographers, religious scholars, linguists, anthropologists, culturologists and all those enthusiasts - diggers of antiquity who have already, by now, accumulated rich material capable of blowing up and destroying all the wildest and vulgar-orientalist fables.

As you can see, the fact of rethinking genonism, as well as the opening of genonian destructive bookmarks, is already clear to many researchers who are working on studying a truly living Tradition, which is not so much the Western Tradition as the primordial Tradition of the North, about which the outstanding Dutch scientist Herman once wrote Wirth.

The Wirth phenomenon is unexplored in modern science.
Moreover, the name of this most profound scientist is completely unknown in our modern universities, which, in general, the author of the article had to face when we had to defend our thesis project devoted to the study of the Völkisch currents in Germany.
However, we are talking about the fact that the absence of a special course at universities on the works of Wirth is not so much a political order, but rather indicates the level of modern universities themselves, consciously unwilling to work with really deep scientific discoveries of the past century.

In Russian science, there are only a few major traditional scientists working with Wirth's texts - these are A. Kondratiev and A. Dugin. More extensive research and figures of Hermann Wirth are related to some domestic historians exploring the phenomenon of the Nazi period in Germany - these are A. Vasilchenko, A. Zubkov, Pervushin, etc.

Wirth publishes several works, some of which were not recognized by the scientific community (in particular, he sought to substantiate the authenticity of the Frisian chronicle, which spoke of the death of Atlantis, the so-called "Chronicle of Ura-Lind").

The theory of Hermann Wirth was an assumption about the polar Nordic origin of mankind. In ancient times, in the north of the Earth, there was the continent of Arctogaea, which was inhabited by supermen-Hyperboreans. A civilization appeared here, a kind of monotheistic ancestral religion, an ancestral language and other sources of world culture, which subsequently underwent desacralization, perversion and distortion.

According to Herman Wirth, all modern languages ​​and religious teachings are a dead interweaving of more incomprehensible symbols and signs, the key to which is irretrievably lost along with the polar land and the polar race.

So, Wirth publishes several works, some of which were not recognized by Nazi "scientific" figures (in particular, he sought to substantiate the authenticity of the Frisian chronicle, which spoke of the death of Atlantis, the so-called "Chronicle of Ura-Lind").
As A. Dugin writes: “The classical paradigm of the language of Tradition can be reduced to one hieroglyph: the so-called “Celtic cross”. This is a universal formula, an all-sign, the first codification of sacred space and at the same time sacred time, that is, a proto-calendar, a universal epistemological interpretation cipher that allowed people of the Tradition to sort phenomena, codify, reduce everything to one. Here we see four orientations - North, South, East, West and four seasons.

This is an extremely brief summary of the entire language of the Tradition (holistic ensemble), the matrix of space and time at the same time. All religious, conceptual, mythological representations, dogmas, doctrines, cultural formulas, rituals, rituals, tales, myths and legends came out of this first matrix, up to our language, writing, its letters, sounds, with the help of which we still we express our thoughts, feelings, ideas, etc.

From Wirth's point of view, the main key to understanding this language, all existing languages ​​and traditions, is the year. Year and man, year and God, year and nature, year and time, year and space, from Wirth's point of view, were synonymous concepts. Man is time incarnate. Time itself is a divine manifestation.

The structure of the polar year, the year as a set of natural phenomena characteristic of the northern polar regions, served Hermann Wirth as a universal tool for interpreting all other elements. For Wirth, it was precisely this method (explaining everything through the paradigm of the year, the polar year) that became the starting point in his grandiose research.

As a prelude to the study of the primordial language, Hermann Wirth presents a historical and geographical reconstruction of the first centuries of mankind.

According to Wirth, the modern outlines of the continents appeared recently. Continents are not at rest, they are not constants - they slide along the shelf, and the picture of the globe was once completely different. Once upon a time there were two continents: the northern one - Arctogea (Arctida) and the southern one - Gondwana.

Wirth claims that Arctida was the cradle of mankind. This is the starting point in Wirth's model. He claims that man originated at the North Pole, that is, humanity is an essentially polar phenomenon. Hence Nordicism as a method, as an idea of ​​the special specifics of the original language, the original knowledge, the original religion.

Contemplating the surrounding world, the people of the North developed a proto-language, which formed the basis of the complex of ideas with which, after many millennia, we are dealing now.
This model of Wirth (as Alexander Dugin writes) ideally corresponds to Guénon's holistic ideas about the polar origin of mankind, about the original golden age.

Thus, Wirth's formally positivist studies led him to the Nordic theory of the origin of mankind, classical for traditionalism.
But if Guénon confines himself to asserting this as a fact, Wirth draws conclusions of colossal significance from this.

And this is not because Wirth's adherents are trying to mystify the figure, but only because a number of Wirth's works were either confiscated by the American authorities or stolen, as happened with Wirth's outstanding and unpublished work "Palestine Bukh".

As the German proverb, which Wirth constantly quotes, goes: “God lies at the beginning of this language” (“Gott is Anfang jeglicher Sprache…”). Hermann Wirth has a special concept of "Gottesweltanschauung" in this respect.

"Weltanschauung" - literally, "worldview". This word is absent in all languages ​​descending from Latin. In modern Russian, "worldview" is just its exact equivalent. However, “Gottesweltanschaaung” is more complicated, you can’t create such a construction in Russian anymore. This is, as it were, "God's world view", i.e. view of the world and God at the same time. In such a “view” there is no significant difference between them, and, looking at the world, we do not see it in isolation, there is always a sacred reason behind the effect (and here and now). Whatever our attention falls on, we see a holistic ensemble - "an open entrance to the closed palace of the king." Here, every object, every state is an entrance inside, and the language stands in the center as the main magical tool, as A. Dugin writes about Herman Wirth in his book “Philosophy of Traditionalism”.

What attracts us Wirth? The fact that this outstanding scientist discovers the original model, finds the key to understanding the ancient and true tradition, that phenomenon, whose symbols and signs run like a red thread in all later religions. Moreover, the gender issue that Wirth raises in his works is very interesting.

In Holland, G. Wirth was the main inspirer of the youth movement "Landbond der Dietsche Trekvogels". This is the Dutch equivalent of the more famous German community "Wandervoegel", the "Migratory Birds" movement, with which Wirth began to cooperate in Leipzig (1908).
Unlike the German Völkisch, Wirth was not attracted by the “neo-Buddhist” teachings of Blavatsky, since he saw in it another attempt by the anti-Nordic spirit to approve the “Light from the East” instead of the “Light from the North”.

Wirth denoted his method of studying sacred symbolism with the neologism “Urgeistesgeschichte”, typical for Völkisch, which can be translated as “the most ancient history of the Spirit”, “the history of the discovery of the Spirit in antiquity” or “the most ancient history of the spiritual tradition”.
Professor Hermann Wirth, in 1928, published the book The Origin of Mankind.
In his opinion, at the dawn of the dawn of civilization, there were only two races.

The northern, or Nordic, was distinguished by increased spirituality, while the southern (Gondwanic) was entirely dominated by base instincts. Modern humanity is a mixture of these two primordial races and their corresponding qualities.

G. Wirth came to the conclusion that even the Bible is a later retelling of the knowledge of Nordic mankind. It was from the Aryans that the inhabitants of Israel learned everything they could, and then destroyed the primary sources.

So Wirth produces a consistent deconstruction of the Old Testament.
Analyzing a number of myths and legends, Wirth comes to the conclusion that about 40,000 years ago, there was an ancient cosmic proto-religion whose area was almost all of Europe.

Later, this religion spread to the Middle East, North Africa, Arabia-Canaan, thus, in the 3rd millennium, BC, people living in Western Europe and the Middle East had approximately the same religious ideas.

In 1933, Wirth publishes The Chronicle of Ur Linda, which is an ancient Frisian family chronicle.

Wirth presented the "Chronicle of Ur Lind" as the "Ancient Testament of the North", different from the Near Eastern testaments, which, in his opinion, are essentially alien to the tradition of the Germans and the Atlanto-Nordic heritage of the ancestors.

According to Wirth, the legend contained in the "Chronicle of Ur Lind" belongs to a very deep prehistory, reaching the early Stone Age. About 5000 years ago, the Germans professed their original faith, very different from the relatively recent tradition of the Edda era.

This ancient faith of the Atlanto-Nords was monotheistic. Vralda was recognized as the Supreme God. In the “Ancient Teaching”, which is one of the most important theological sections of the “Chronicle of Ura Linda”, the following is said about God Vralda: “Vralda is the most ancient of all, above all antiquity, for He created all things. Vralda is everything in everything, for It is eternal and infinite.

The chronicle tells about the original migrations of the Atlanto-Nordic race, about the death of their capital - Atland, about the cosmic turns of the Wheel of Kroder and about the original Aryan matriarchy. The chronicle tells about a kind of racial genesis, i.e. about the races descended from three Virgins (Lida, Finda and Freya), who are not only the Daughters of the androgynous god Vralda, but also the Ancestral Mothers of all peoples.

According to the "Chronicle of Ur Linda", the cause of all the misfortunes of the free, bright and noble people of Freya are certain cycles of the Wheel of Kroder, which consists of six ray sectors, each of which alternately descends and ascends. This caused the rhythms of world history.

The peak times of Hermann Wirth's creativity fell on the period of the so-called conservative revolution, an integral part of which were representatives of the so-called Völkisch movement in Germany. Völkische are populist nationalists who connected the future of Germany not with the traditional Christian worldview, but with a kind of mystical-religious worldview, which each individual movement of the populists drew either from romanticism and chivalric romances, or from the version of the world of Edda sung by Richard Wagner. The sacred pre-history of the Teutons and the ancient Germans was created by the Narodniks in every way, including even such pretentious religious neo-constructs as the Ario-Christianity of Jörg Liebenfels.

However, all of them, according to Wirth, if they created something. That was created by later versions of the already degenerated Tradition of the North. Moreover, Professor Wirth, unlike the entire völkisch camp, insisted on the theory of primordial matriarchy.

So, a number of völkisch thinkers, mystics and creators of the incredible "Aryan" doctrines themselves, relied on the Edda or the Bible, but these differences reduced them to certainty about the original patriarchy, i.e. be it the Wotanists, or the theorists of pre-Christian Nordic Christianity, as it was in List's Armanism or Wiligut's Irminism, Lance's Ario-Christianity, who generally considered women to be almost creatures of hell, representatives of a separate race, subject to a male master.

Proving the authenticity of the Chronicle of Ur Lind, Hermann Wirth came to a conclusion that contradicted the whole variety of religious ideas of the Völkisch camp in Germany.
In addition, contrary to many Germanists, Wirth did not believe that the sacred texts of the Germanic North (Edda) could also fit the role of the "Oldest Testament". Wirth gave primacy and priority to the ancient Frisian chronicle "Chronicle of Ur Linda". Wirth believed that this chronicle completely rethinks and even, at some points, "destroys the Germanism of the Edda."

According to Wirth, the original Atlanto-Nordic society was purely matriarchal. The peoples of Arctida revered their White Ladies and prophetesses, perceived a woman as a source and bearer of incomprehensible sacredness.

Over time, the matriarchal understanding of being began to give way to "patriarchal-authoritative-political" thinking (maennerrechtliches machtpolitisches Denken) and the so-called. "paternal right". This paternal right came from the East and the South and caused a fundamental cosmic tragedy.

So, according to Wirth, the original Atlanto-Nordic society was purely matriarchal. The woman was for the courageous Atlanto-Nords the ultimate value of the Spirit, the embodiment of Mother Earth and the bearer of the highest saving truths. However, in the course of cosmic and cultural-symbolic degradation, there has been a qualitative breakdown both in the world outlook and in the life practice of all mankind.

The tragedy of the North is actually the tragedy of the original matriarchy, which, with the end of the majestic culture of megaliths (c. 2000 BC), gave way to a more rational, pragmatic and business-like structure of the Fathers (priests and political leaders). This qualitatively new system, the order of patriarchy and paternal law, was established throughout Europe and became the main cause of the "spiritual degradation of the Germans."

Wirth's concept was not accepted in the ranks of the Nazis and Völkisch for the following reasons: from the reasoning of the authors of the "Chronicle of Ur Lind" (as well as Schelling) it followed that the original religion of mankind was monotheism
Primordial matriarchy seemed to Nazi scholars not heroic enough, and primordial monotheism too Levantine.

In addition, by recognizing the historical accuracy of the "Chronicle of Ur Lind", the cathedral bosses would have to work for Wirth and his project, rethinking the entire history of German religion. Not only the "Germanic" line of Ariosophy (G. von List, R.D. Gorsleben, etc.), the authoritative works of Germanists and mythologists, but also - what is much more significant - Edda would be called into question. According to Wirth, these sources are monuments of the era of polytheistic patriarchy, which supplanted the original faith of the Atlanto-Nords.

Moreover, while studying the Exterstein megaliths, Wirth came to the conclusion that the very name of the Exeterstein megalithic complex takes its name from the Ingevonian “ekkshtan” - i.e. mother stone. So Wirth proved his theory of matriarchy, based on the fact that the proto-European lexical form "akka" meaning the word "mother", pointed to the "mythological image of the first mother" of all people.

Karl-Hermann, Jakob-Friesen and Wolfgang Krause proclaimed the "Chronicle of Hurray Linda" hostile Germany, imposing un-German attitudes on the Germans.
Thus, Wirth's concept was not accepted not so much for its scientific conclusions as for ideological reasons. The Nazi ideology was more sympathetic to the legends of Wotan and Walhalla, and the principle of the Fuhrership was directly derived from the polytheistic patriarchy.

Cosmic Christianity by Hermann Wirth.

For the “Chronicle of Ur Linda” it is fundamental that, once begun, the creation of the world cannot be stopped. The world is constantly being created. It is an eternal dynamic of transfiguration, a cosmic liturgy and an eternal transformation that has little to do with "creation" in the sense of Judeo-Christianity.

Here there is no woeful gap between the absolute world and the relative world. In the original understanding of the ancient Frisians, it is here that the eternal mystery of the calendar circle takes place - "the simple noble cosmogony of the Aryan original faith."

Wirth talked about the sacred cycles of the cosmic Year, measured by the dynamics of four crucial points: these are two Equinoxes and two Solstices. Throughout the calendar year, the Cosmic Savior moves in a circle, stopping at these four points and appearing in various forms: in the form of an Infant, a Husband and an Elder.

Then the Savior endures torment on the Tree (the Cross Tree, which gives knowledge of the Runic Language) and is reborn at the point of the Winter Solstice, "receiving his sacred sign - the rune MADR (Man raising his hands to Heaven). After burial and descent into Hell with inevitability follows rebirth and glorification, the acquisition of Eternity and the body of glory, given not according to merit, but by the great Grace of the Son of God and Savior (“Kroder”), Who “by His descent into Hell (decensus ad inferos) and his winter-sun-staying underground traveled to save everyone from death - baptized and unbaptized, Christians and non-Christians.

In the calendar theology reconstructed by Wirth of the peoples of the North, we meet not one, but three Saviors at once. The scientist says that in the ancient cult symbolism of the Atlanto-Nordic race there were at least three archetypes, three classical forms that reflected the image of Soter - and these forms originated from the Calendar, which was the center of all rituals.

The first Savior appeared at Midnight. This is the Winter Savior, the image of Yul. He is depicted with his hands raised in the form of the Madr rune. This is Houndstooth, the Winter Solstice Man. Then, at the Summer Solstice, another Savior appeared - the Heavenly King with arms stretched out in different directions (+), identical to the Year split in two.

But then the Third one also appeared - the Savior, the Suffering, Dying, Man with lowered hands.
Among the Germans, this Third Messenger was called Tyr or Ullr. He is Tiu, Tsiu, Dyaus, Deus, etc. His hands, lowered down, were the hands of humility.

In one case, we have here some strange pre-Christian Revelation about the Trinity of God, which, according to Hermann Wirth, was the source not only of Christian theology, but also of the later religion of Wotanism.

According to Wirth himself, the only founder of the Atlanto-Nordic religion can only be the Savior Himself, understood not as some kind of historical figure, but as the timeless figure of the Son of God, who entered Time to die and rise again in it. For Wirth, the Savior is the polar paradise Nordic Kroder Crucified on the Cosmic Cross. This is the Archetype of the Eternal Return that came from distant Hyperborea. Thanks to the Savior, the mystery of the Winter Solstice is accomplished, the Old Nature is fulfilled, transforming into the New.

The original, pure, “pre-Nicene” faith in Christ was, according to Wirth, an echo of the ancient Atlanto-Nordic faith in the Savior, which was preserved in the cult symbolism of the people over the following centuries.

Thus, for Wirth, not only the future of the Germans depended on the reconstruction of the key mythologeme of cosmic cycles, but also the correct understanding of Christianity, this is the cosmic pro-religion of the Atlanto-Nordic civilization.

Returning to Guénon's criticism, one can point to the fact that his doctrine is already untenable in the sense that the descent of the Spirit of the Northern Tradition, which appears in every Yule, as well as the rich iconography of Yule, destroys all the fabrications of the Orientalists, which we will certainly talk about in the following our lectures.

During these years, Wirth published several works, some of which were not recognized by the scientific community (in particular, he sought to substantiate the authenticity of the fake Frisian chronicle, which spoke of the death of Atlantis, the so-called "Ura-Lind Chronicle"). At the same time, as the politician, political scientist and researcher of Wirth's work Alexander Dugin notes, Herman Wirth "did not share the numerous prejudices of the occultists, who discredit serious research with their haste"

The theory of runes, proposed by the German scientist - Professor Hermann Wirth. Let's make a reservation right away that this theory is not recognized by wide scientific circles. At the same time, the reason for such neglect of Wirth lies not so much in his own paleoepigraphic and runological works, but in his assessment of the text known as the "Chronicles of Ura-Lind", the history of which, like two drops of water, is similar to the history of the "Book of Veles". "Ura-Linda" was discovered at the beginning of the 19th century and represented the allegedly ancient history of the Germans (Frisians), going back centuries for many millennia. It was written in a special quasi-runic script and contained plots of pre-Christian mythology and the sacred history of the Germans. The Veles book (discovered, however, only at the beginning of the 20th century) is an exact analogue of the Ura-Linda, only as applied not to the Germans, but to the Slavs.

Scientists immediately regarded "Ura-Linda" as an outright fake, dating back to the era of the Dutch Renaissance, when some encyclopedist transferred the mythological and geographical knowledge of his era to distant times and recreated a pseudo-mythological picture. Supporters of the authenticity of "Ura-Linda" were recognized as outcasts, charlatans and were ridiculed. (And in this aspect, the parallel with the history of the Book of Veles is obvious.)

However, Hermann Wirth himself did not claim that we are dealing with the original. He only believed that this was a very ancient version of the mythological pre-Christian tradition, processed and stylized much later by the Dutch humanist. Wirth, a connoisseur of hundreds of ancient and modern languages, an archaeologist, linguist and historian, did a tremendous amount of work on the content analysis of the entire monument and separated layers of different times in it - the most ancient, later and very recent. The result of its reconstruction was the publication of "Ura-Linda" with detailed comments. It was she who made Wirth an outcast among official historians, who believed that the very doubt of the complete falsity of "Ura-Linda" automatically discredits the author.

For this reason, the other and most basic works of Hermann Wirth - "The Origin of Mankind" and "The Sacred Proto-Language of Mankind", - which contain his runological theory and about "Ura-Linda", are not mentioned at all, were ignored by the general scientific community. These works contain stunning palaeo-epigraphic material, which is quite deserving of becoming a sensation in the history of human proto-culture. Many of Wirth's intuitions anticipate those linguistic theories that are called "Nostratic" and which appeared much later than the first works of the German professor. But this is only one side of his fantastic discoveries. The most important thing is left out.

So, Wirth offered the following explanation of runic signs. From his point of view, the Scandinavian and ancient Germanic runes and runic circles are traces of the most ancient sign-symbolic model, which underlies all types of languages, mythologies, cultures, rituals, sacred doctrines, calendar systems, astrological observations, etc. Once runic circles were known to all the peoples of the earth, who came out of a single ancestral home - the northern country of Hyperborea.

Wirth, who was a supporter of the archaeological theory of "cultural circles", called this original proto-culture "Thulekulturkreise", i.e. "cultural circle of Thule".

Initially, runic circles were ritually applied only to a wood surface, since a tree in the "cultural circle of Thule" was considered a sacred element, a material embodiment of the Axis of the World. For this reason, it is impossible to fully trace the chronology of the development of a full-fledged runic writing in ancient eras. Only fragmentary inscriptions on the walls of caves, ceramics, stones, and later, bronze and iron, which are rather anomalies than the norm of ancient culture, allow us to judge the steps of evolution (or, more precisely, involution) of runic writing. Historical runes, as they reliably appear in the V-VI centuries. - these are just inertial traces of an ancient forgotten system, which (not to confuse concepts) can be called protorunic.

The proto-runic system, according to Wirth, underlies all writing systems - Phoenician, Indian, Sumerian, Chinese, Egyptian, etc. Moreover, the protorunes and their system are the key to deciphering absolutely all mythological plots and sacred doctrines - both monotheistic and developed, and primitive and pagan. The runic circle can be traced unmistakably in phonemes, signs, mythological plots, customs, rituals, signs, associations, rituals of all peoples of the earth. You only need to know the code, and deciphering any system of symbols is not difficult.

In his writings, Hermann Wirth did a tremendous job of isolating a series of plots and signs that make up the original ensembles of symbols of the "Thule culture", which can be traced from cave drawings to the most developed modern theological constructions. Each volume of Wirth's work contains about 1,000 pages, including atlases and albums cataloging his discoveries in the field of archaeology (he himself actively participated in excavations), paleo-epigraphy, comparative linguistics, and the history of religions. On a few pages, of course, it is impossible, even briefly, to give an idea of ​​these unique studies, which, at the same time, are so rare that they are sometimes not even in the most complete European libraries. This circumstance is also explained by political considerations. The fact is that Hermann Wirth was the founder of the research organization "Heritage of the Ancestors" ("Ahnenerbe") during the "Third Reich", and although he was found completely innocent of the crimes of the Nazi regime, a certain shadow fell on him just like and on some other famous German scientists and thinkers of a patriotic orientation - Martin Heidegger, Ernst Junger, Arthur Müller van den Broek, Karl Haushofer, etc. However, even among them, Wirth was much more unlucky - the topics that he considered did not arouse interest among European scholars (unlike Jünger and Heidegger, who were defended by their French fans, impeccably pure from the point of view of "anti-fascism"). And at the same time, perhaps Wirth's discoveries are incomparably more important for our understanding of the origins of the human spirit than the works of many other authors...

Wirth lived until 1982, but all this time he and his work were surrounded by such complete silence that one gets the impression that there is some sinister secret in all this, some kind of "conspiracy". This episode is also very strange. The last book of Hermann Wirth, the so-called. "Palestinabuch", in which he collected all the results of research on the "Hyperborean" origins of the Old Testament tradition - based on the systematization and study of the archaic layers of the Middle Eastern culture, was mysteriously stolen from his house on the eve of being sent to the printing house. If Wirth's research were mere quackery, it would hardly have occurred to anyone to steal a multi-thousand-page manuscript.

But this mystery has not yet been solved.

Slavic runic

Here we are interested not only in the history of the German professor, but in how his concept can help us in the study of Slavic antiquities, to explain many of the mysteries of the ancient pre-Christian culture of our distant ancestors. And this topic is now worrying more and more people. Hence, by the way, the interest in the "Book of Veles", in the reconstruction of pre-Cyrillic writing, etc.

If we accept Wirth's point of view that the northern peoples of Eurasia, who lived in close proximity to the original Arctic ancestral home - Hyperborea, retained the proto-runic systems longer than others, although their full value, cult use and alphabetic-calendar comprehension were distorted and forgotten. Therefore, the runic is found among them in a fragmentary form, as a legacy of ancient knowledge, the key to which is irretrievably lost. But nevertheless, starting from the 5th century, this late runic appears synchronously in the north of Eurasia. Wirth especially closely studied the German-Scandinavian regions. But he also pointed out the exact correspondence to the runic signs (voiced, however, in a completely different way) of the Orkhon inscriptions of the ancient Turks. Moreover, the Turkic runic appeared almost simultaneously with the German one, despite the fact that it is difficult to assume a direct borrowing. From the point of view of simple geographical symmetry, it is striking that between the area of ​​​​settlement of the German-Scandinavian tribes and the Turks of Siberia, there were precisely the ancient Slavs, mixed with the Ugric tribes. And about these Slavs, the Chernorizet Khrabr wrote that they "write with features and cuts." The late runic writing is characterized precisely by the fact that it was carved on wood or stones, while, according to Wirth, the signs of the original protorunic were rounded. Thus, it is quite likely that "features and cuts" were a symbolic system of the "Slavic runic", which is, as it were, an intermediate layer between the Germanic and Turkic systems. Brave's indication that the ancient Slavs "guessed" by cuts indicates that the Slavs used their runes in the same way as the Germans - they served them both as an alphabet and as a method of sacred rituals (in their lowest form - predictions).

It is amazing how similar the signs of the "Hymn of the Boyan" and the "Book of Veles" and the Germanic runes are. Although it cannot be ruled out that through his Masonic channels, Sulakadzev, to whom all the threads of history with the Book of Veles converge, could be aware of the Chronicle of Ura-Linda, also stylized as runic writing. In such a case (which cannot be completely ruled out), the value of his documents is lost. At the same time, it is possible that, as in the case of "Ura-Linda", we are talking about the later processing of some really ancient document. It is only important to approach this issue objectively and impartially, without falling into premature enthusiasm, but also without deliberate prejudices.

Whether the fragments of the Sulakadze collection are genuine or not, the Slavs must have had runic-type systems, fragments of which we unmistakably meet in traditional Slavic embroideries, mythological plots, ornaments, rituals and beliefs. Consequently, the question is only to start a full-fledged and large-scale deciphering of the ancient Slavic heritage, without expecting that history will give us reliable textual material. It would be too easy. Although it cannot be completely ruled out that sooner or later such evidence will come to light.

Already now we can start the global deciphering of Slavic antiquities, as we have the opportunity to use for this an invaluable scientific apparatus developed by a brilliant German professor.

If we find out the system of the Slavic runic circle, the problem will be solved. And we will only have to compare this model with the Germanic runic and the system of writing and calendar signs of the ancient Turks. So, gradually, we will reach the next level and come closer to deciphering the ancient riddle of Eurasia, to comprehending its pra-culture, its secret, forgotten language, which is not just a means of transmitting information (as technocrats and pragmatists mistakenly understand the language today), but already the information itself, moreover, the most important and significant, sacred.

The Mystery of the Apple - the Mystery of the North

Before taking the first steps in our study of the Slavic runic, let us outline in the most general terms the essence of the concept of Hermann Wirth regarding the meaning of runic or proto-runic writing.

Wirth argues that the original cultural model from which writing, and phonemes, and calendars, and rituals, and legal institutions, and arts, and occupations, developed - i.e. all human culture in its source, embryonic state, was the observation of the natural annual phenomena of the Arctic North. Many traditions say that it was from the North that the ancestors of people descended to the middle and southern latitudes, where the most ancient civilizations arose - as images of the ancient ancestral home, as its reflection, reconstruction, imitation. This is confirmed by the Iranian tradition, which speaks of Aryana-vaj, the homeland of the ancestors of the ancient Iranians. The same tradition is contained in the Vedas, where it is said that the first people lived in a place where day and night lasted a whole year - i.e. in the Arctic. The Hindus have a traditional theory of cosmic cycles which they associate with the dynamics of the continents. Each cycle has its own continent, dvipa. Our cycle corresponds to the so-called. "Jambudvipa", "the land of apple trees", and Rene Guenon showed that this is not about India itself, but about all the actually existing continents and especially about their synthesis - Severnaya Zemlya, Arctogea, Hyperborea. This symbolic moment is significant. An apple tree, an apple in many myths is associated precisely with paradise or with the Garden of Eden, with the place where mankind lived in the original times. The very root of the word "apple" is etymologically related to both the Hindu "jambu" and the German "Appfel", Eng. "apple", etc. - Wirth considers related to the name of Apollo, the Hyperborean god of the Sun and Light. If we take into account this "Arctic", polar moment, then many plots associated with apples will become clear: the rejuvenating apples of the Scandinavian sagas, the apples of the Hesperides, the forbidden apple from the tree of knowledge, which caused the forefathers to leave paradise, etc. In addition, there is one more expressive detail: if we cut an apple across, we will get a five-pointed star in the core, and this symbol was also originally an image of the pole, the North, paradise.

Wirth explains the polar symbolism of the star as follows. - The oldest calendar was a six-pointed star, marking the six main positions of the sun: the summer sun (upper line), the winter sun (lower line), the point of sunrise and sunset in winter (winter solstice - two slashes at the top) or in summer (summer solstice - two slashes at the bottom). Sometimes a horizontal line corresponding to the equinoxes was also noted, which gave an eight-pointed star. In the Arctic, the sixth, lower line is absent, since in winter the sun does not rise there at all, and consequently, the six-pointed star becomes five-pointed. Arctogea is the country of apples and apple trees. From this it is easy to deduce the role of apples in Russian and Slavic folklore.

Basic runes

Let's go back to the proto-runic circle. Observation of annual events beyond the Arctic Circle makes clear the following signs, which are the basis of protorunics.

A circle that describes the sun in a day above the observer's head, as if expanding the roundness of the sun itself to cosmic scales. Perhaps the oldest phoneme of this sign was the consonant sound R (a variant of L, since "liquid" consonants are often interchangeable in the transition from language to language). Sometimes the circle is provided with a vertical bar at the bottom. From this came the Greek "ro" - r.

This vicious circle breaks in the autumn and spring arctic periods, when the sun makes short arcs over the point of the South. These arcs are the oldest protorunic sign, UR in Scandinavian circles. Vocalization is the vowel "u", the only sound that can be made with a closed mouth. Symbolically, this corresponds to the descent of the sun into the darkness of night, based on the symbolic identification of the mouth and voice with the cosmos. (Compare the Russian word for "sky", the upper cavity of the mouth, and "sky", the firmament).

At the beginning of the year, the same UR sign is probably sounded as "a", since the vowel "a" is pronounced with a fully open mouth, a symbol of a new beginning. The sun comes out of the ground, out of the darkness, out of the cave. A new day, a new year begins.

Further, the sector is associated with the sign KA, which is a symbol of rise, uplifted hands, horns, etc. This sound denoted everything related to the upward movement, so often this sign means spirit or fire. An R rises above KA (or RE or RI, as the voicing of consonants moves from the post-New Year's A to the intermediate E and then to I, which is the vowel of the summer solstice, the highest point of the year).

After the summer solstice, which is pronounced as I and is depicted by a vertical line - the highest sign, spirit, royal dignity, the sun begins to slope down towards winter, towards the Arctic night. From top to bottom. The connection between them remained in the hieroglyph S and the proto-rune SOL, which is a descending fire, sun, sunset, but at the same time lightning. It is also an apple that gravitates towards the Earth in autumn.

This is followed by the hieroglyph TU or TO - . Autumn descent, lowered hands, branches (willows, firs, pines, yews, etc.). The vowel O is medial between I (spoken with a half-closed mouth, stretched lips) and U (spoken with a closed mouth).

In addition, there are two nasal consonants N and M, which, according to Wirth, denote the horizontal, water, Earth, mother's womb, stone, bottom, night, darkness, etc. This is such a consonant, which, as it were, has not yet acquired a clear form. Therefore, the first cry of a child - MA - expresses the most ancient Hyperborean cult formula: new life, new light, new cosmos is born from the bowels of the night.

Historical runes have a few more intermediate signs:

THURS, the sign of the ax (or thorn), which separates the umbilical cord of the New Year from the Old. (The ax and the thorn, as well as the verb to prick, are connected through the word "kylo", i.e. ax; therefore, it is possible that this rune was called "kolo" among the Slavs or something similar).

AS and FEOH are two parts of the World Tree, Spruce, Birch, Apple Tree, etc. From FEOH came the Russian God. From AS - Russian "az", first person pronoun, "I".

The consonant N, originally represented by a horizontal line (see Fig. 14), was later combined with NYT (see Fig. 18), whence the Russian "not", "no", hence "night".

The voicing of spring KA (KEN - in late circles) gave GYFU, a rune similar to KA, a raised hand, a crossbar.

A variation of I was the rune IEH, indicating a change in the trajectory of the path of the sun at the time of the summer solstice.

At the point of the autumn equinox, the composite rune BEORG was fixed, i.e. "two mountains", which passed here from the winter solstice in older versions. The Russian word "birch" is also formed from this phoneme - the sacred tree of the Slavs. All other runes belong to the pre-New Year period - the autumn-winter season.

Next comes LAGU, a hook, which also means "water", "lake". The Russian word "meadow" carries both proto-senses - something crooked, a bow, a bend (the appearance of an ideogram, a hook, a staff handle) and a space flooded with water in the spring; close to the Germanic roots, denoting "lake" - lake. The Russian "puddle" is also cool.

The MADR rune came to autumn from spring, where it depicted M (and sounded the same) as an undulating water surface, contrasting with the stagnant water of autumn - N.

The rune EOH resembles the ideogram of a horse, and hence all the mythological stories about "water horses" or "sea stallions".

Rune ING is a marriage rune, the union of heaven (upper triangle) and earth (lower triangle), masculine and feminine. These are also two intertwined snakes. Phonetically it is voiced by the diphthong NG (sometimes with a nasal N). In the Old Russian language "n" was nasal, and gradually disappeared. Such modern Russian words as "angle", "eel", "hook", "hand", "frog", etc. once had a nasal "n" before "g" or "k". Perhaps the Slavic name for the ING rune was "angle" or "hook".

ODIL is a knot, a loop, a drop. It means "spirit", "seed", sometimes also "fish" due to the hieroglyphic similarity and the fact that fish live in water, and New Year's sectors of the sacred year correlate with water. In Old Russian, the true name of the fish "zva" was taboo. It is possible that the Russian ODIL was called that way - "zva".

An important rune DAG means "day", "light", "double ax", as well as "chalice", "vessel", "cauldron for ritual festivities". The rune gave its name to the Celtic god Dagda, who in Irish myths is associated with a magic cauldron, in which food does not dry out. This is a Christmas rune. From this root developed the Indo-European names of the heavenly god - the Hindu Dyaus, the Latin Deos, the Greek Theos. The German "Tag" ("day") and the Russian "day" itself go back to the same basis.

Now it remains to try to find correspondence between this set of sacred ideograms and Slavic roots, patterns, legends, mythological plots, etc. In this way, we will approach the restoration of the sacred picture of the world of our ancestors and the elucidation of the sacred model underlying our ancient culture, our language, our rituals, our psychology, and so on.

The story of Wirth's life (although he died, by historical standards, quite recently) sounds like some kind of incredible fairy tale. Born in 1885 in Utrecht, Netherlands. In 1933, in Munich, Wirth organized the grandiose historical exhibition Ahnenerbe, or Ancestral Heritage. Its exhibits are hundreds of ancient artifacts collected by him, including runic writings, the prescription of which was estimated at 12 thousand years. He defended the dogma of the racial superiority of the German people and hated Wirth, who argued that there could be no superiority of one people over another, since the descendants of the ancient Hyperboreans are found among absolutely all peoples, and not just one.
