Voice. Children - a show that unites young vocalists within its framework, began to appear on Channel One in 2014, and this year viewers will see it for the fourth time. This wonderful children's singing competition is an adaptation of a similar show originally owned by Dutch television and run there under the name "The Voice Kids".
In Russia, the online show "Voice. Children" airs every Friday, immediately after the information block "Time" in February - March of each year.
Terms and conditions of the competition:
Children and teenagers who are already 7 years old, but not older than 14, can participate in the show. The competition involves three mentors who recruit teams of young singers. Each team consists of 15 participants.
Earlier on Channel One, the adult format of the Dutch show was adapted, which was simply called "Voice". By the time the children's version was released, two adult seasons had already passed.
The competition scheme consists of four stages:

- Nyusha(Anna Vladimirovna Shurochkina) - vocalist, performer of popular music, author of music and lyrics of her compositions, actress. The winner of "MUZ-TV" in 2012 in the nomination "Best Song".
- Valeriy Meladze(Valerian Shatoevich Meladze) - Soviet, Ukrainian and Russian pop singer, TV presenter and producer. He has the titles of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation and People's Artist of Chechnya. Three times he became the owner of the "Ovation" - the National Russian Prize. He has a large number of other prestigious awards, including according to Muz-TV and RU.TV.
In the show Voice.Children season 4"Svetlana Zeynalova became the co-host of Dmitry Nagiyev. Svetlana, known to Channel One viewers as one of the hosts of the Good Morning program, was chosen by the creators of the Voice. Children season 4 ”for the role of co-host for a reason. She alone brings up her daughter Alexandra, who was diagnosed with autism by doctors. Of course, the TV presenter knows how to communicate with children and help them in difficult situations.
Singers Pelageya and Dima Bilan acted as mentors, as well as producer Maxim Fadeev. Moreover, for the first two seasons, it was Fadeev’s wards who won the show “Voice. Children". In the third season, Maxim Fadeev replaced composer and singer Leonid Agutin. In the fall of 2016, it became clear that in the fourth season, Pelageya will not be able to be a mentor in the project, as she is in an interesting position. In the show Voice.Children season 4" take part in children and teenagers from 7 to 14 years old. As in the adult voice”, Applicants for participation in the TV contest first pass the selection at the castings, and then - blind auditions, during which mentors recruit children to join their teams.
After the mentors have recruited teams, the stage begins. singles. Mentors must select the best from their teams. Two contestants from each team going to the finals of the competition " Voice.Children season 4". Six young singers in the final perform one song each solo and one song each with their mentor and competitor from their team. The fate of the finalists is decided by the audience by SMS voting.
Casting in the show Voice. Children season 4"started on September 14, 2016. The participants of the third season of the children's "Voice", including Larisa Grigoryeva and Ilya Litvinov with their dog Waffle, worked as reporters at the castings. Children"; 11 year old Aygun Abasova from Dagestan Derbent, who was helped to get to the casting by her famous countrywoman singer Jasmine; talented YuliannaShore from Moldova; graduate of the Krasnokamsk Music School VadimGladkov; Orenburger Artur Islamov; a unique young man who can reasoncompletely grown-up, 10-year-old Michael Pinchuk from the famous Novosibirsk children's pop center " daddy's children" and etc.
Among the contestants of the children's "Voice" there are traditionally members of the ensemble " fidgets": in the fourth season, this team was presented by Alena Dykhlina and Sofya Polozova. One of the most titled participants in the project " Voice. Children 4"became Stefania Sokolova. In addition, Alisa Golomysova, a student of Alla Pugacheva, familiar to the audience from the Blue Bird competition on the Russia 1 channel, took part in the blind auditions.
Shortly before the start of the show on Channel One on social networks, the creators of the project, for the first time in its existence, decided to announce the composition of the teams in Voice. Children season 4.

The lucky ones were: Eva Medved, Alisa Golomysova, Snezhana Shiryaeva , Sasha Dudko and Deniz Khekilaev. The first release of the show "Voice. Children season 4" aired on Channel One on February 17, 2017 and traditionally began with a performance by the mentors of the country's main vocal project. Dima Bilan, Valeriy Meladze And Nyusha with composition Ed Sheeran Sing.
“But I am very anxious and reverent about victories, because being on the edge of a knife is a very responsible task. Nyusha explained that she sets herself the task assemble a team of different children - "little personalities" so that each has his own "handwriting". And Valery Meladze frankly admitted that he is a little scared to start a new business, but very interesting.
The first participant in the project “Voice. Children season 4”, whose performance the audience saw as part of the blind auditions, became Ai-Kys Kyrgys from Kyzyl. Nyusha and Dima Bilan turned to the girl, but the talented Ai-Kys chose Dmitry's team. The mentors were greatly impressed by the sonorous Sasha Dudko, who performed "Winged swing" from the movie "The Adventures of Electronics". All the mentors turned to the boy, and after some deliberation, he decided to choose Meladze.
Blind auditions also took place: Valeria Solomykina (Bilan's team); Eva Medved, Victoria Drobina and Yana Kulikova (Nyusha's team); Mikhail Moskalev and Alina Zhiganova (team of Valery Meladze).
Second edition of the blind auditions show "Voice. Children Season 4" was rescheduled due to holiday programs in honor of February 23 and aired on February 22, 2017. Opened issue 10 year old Eva Sukmanova from Orenburg, who charmed the audience with Anna German's song “And I like him”, but this was not enough to turn the seats of mentors.
The stars of the second issue were: Sofia Myaukina with a song "I love only you" in the version of Tina Karol; Artyom Seyranyan, who lit up with the composition Highway to Hell by AC/DC; Alicia Calista James, who impressed Meladze with shamanistic music; Alexandra Davydova, who made the mentors dance and turned all three chairs towards her; Milana Pak, instantly, literally from the second note, convinced Dima Bilan that she should be on his team; Madina Mukhamedshina, who did not pass in the first season, but did not give up and tried her luck again; Valery Sukharev, who chose the team Valery Meladze.
The third edition of the show “Voice. Children season 4" Channel One viewers saw on March 3, 2017. Its star was the future Stevie Wonder Yura Maksimenkov. Dima Bilan, in whose team the boy got, was so pleased that he asked Yura to do a "second take" of the performance. Snezhana Shiryaeva with the song Something New deployed all three red chairs. The mentors lured Snezhana into their own team, but the girl chose Valeria Meladze.
Dima Bilan also pressed the button on the last note of the composition Hurt performed by Veronika Ustimova: “You didn’t make a single blot, you didn’t fall out of the image, from what you wanted to say, and not once did you, let’s say, even jump out out of this mood. During the performance of Deniz Khekilaeva, mentor Valery Meladze not only turned to her, but even went on stage to dance and sing along. Denise could choose any of the three mentors, but went to the team of her "backing vocalist" Valery Meladze.
Also in this edition, the mentor teams included: Polina Dmitrenko and Nikita Vlasenko, Renata Ramazanova and Karina Ignatyan , Sofia Fedorova, Danil Musin and Aksiniya Saprykina, ending the fifth episode with a lullaby-like song, Moon River.
Final, sixth edition, in which young vocalists had a chance to get into the project, was released on Channel One on March 24, 2017. Nyusha's team appeared: cheerful and laughter Alina Sansyzbay, who liked the mentor not only because of her vocals, but also because she was stylishly dressed and with a fantastic hairstyle; Stasya Fedorova, who conquered with enthusiasm and sunshine; beauty with a bunny Yulianna Beregoy and Nurlan Ismailov.
Nyusha was so delighted with the way Nurlan Ismailov sang the song “Call” by Polad Bulbul-ogly that she went on stage and started dancing: “Now I can say with a clear conscience that I have waited for my man. Come to me, my good!"

Show Voice. Children season 4. Fighting stage, semi-finals
On March 31, 2017, the next stage of the show " Voice. Children season 4» - the stage of the fights, in which the participants who go to the final of the competition were determined. In the first issue, the fate of the contestants from the Nyusha team was decided. At first, the children performed in a trio, and the mentor had to choose the best young vocalist who would participate in the “Song Through Song” stage.
The first trio that went on stage - Sasha Davydova, Eva Medved and Karine Megrabyan - performed "Kolyada" by the group " Ivan Kupala". Nyusha chose for the next stage Eve Bear. Sasha and Karine could not hold back their tears. The composition "You will leave" Ukrainian singer Alyosha performed by Alena Dykhlina, Daniel Ismailov and Alicia Calista James. The mentor decided that Daniel was going further. The "unstoppable" trio Stasya Fedorova, Nurlan Ismailov and Alina Sansyzbay presented their version of Rockabye. As Valery Meladze admitted, it was great in terms of energy, besides, the singer wanted to start dancing, only he had to take lessons from the choreographer. Nyusha chose from this trio Alina Sansyzbay.
Yana Kulikova, Renata Ramazanova and Yulianna Beregoy sang Bianchi's composition "I will not back down", and then went on Yulianna Beregoy. Sofia Fedorova, Victoria Drobina and Sofia Myaukina took the stage with the song Bang Bang. According to Dima Bilan, as a result, the absolute authenticity of the external, internal and voice came out. Nyusha made a decision: she will continue to participate in the project Victoria Drobina.

From the team of Valery Meladze, Deniz Khekilaeva and Stefania Sokolova went to the final of the project. Mikhail Moskalev And Roman Trifonov, who dropped out of the project after the fight, admitted that they were offended by the mentor and their opponent Alexandra Dudko. Also the boys said that the song « Because we are pilots» , which they performed, is out of date. But in general, Mikhail and Roman received very useful advice from Valery Meladze in the project and became friends in the team.
Mentor Dima Bilan was the last to choose the finalists. The episode aired on Channel One on April 14. The singer decided that Snezhana Shin and Alisa Golomysova deserved to compete for the victory in the project. At the stage "Song to take off" Alisa Golomysova performed the song that she sang at the blind audition - the song "I Go to Sleep" by the Australian singer Sia. Snezhana Shin again presented the song she sang at the blind audition - “I'm falling into the sky” by Olga Kormukhina.

Thus, the finalists of the fourth season of the rating television contest reached: Snezhana Shin and Alisa Golomysova (from the team of Dima Bilan); Alina Sansyzbay and Yulianna Beregoy (Nyusha's team); Deniz Khekilaeva and Stefania Sokolova (team of Valery Meladze). However, it was announced that there would be an additional stage where viewers would be able to choose their finalists from among the eliminated contestants.

On April 21, 2017, Channel One aired an additional stage in which viewers were given the right to decide which of the young vocalists who had previously dropped out of the competition they would like to see in the final of the show « Voice. Children, season 4.
The first to perform were singers from the team Valeria Meladze: Levon Galstyan performed "Sir Duke" Stevie Wonder; ELizaveta Kuklishina- "Song of the Stars" from the movie "About Little Red Riding Hood"; Alexander Dudko- touching song "Grandma" by Vladimir Presnyakov. The audience voted for Sasha Dudko to reach the final.
A trio from Valery Meladze's team - Elizaveta Kuklishina, Alexander Dudko, Levon Galstyan - together with the MBAND group sang the song "She will return" together.
Then a troika from Nyusha's team spoke. Victoria Drobina sang the song "Surrender you always have time" Tina Karol. The second member from Nyusha's team, Daniel Ismailov, performed "Wonderful Life" in the version of Lara Fabian. AND Eva Bear completed the performance of Nyusha's team at the additional stage with the song "We were taught to be birds" Olga Kormukhina. The audience cast their votes for Eva Medved, and she went to the final of the fourth season " Voice. Children, season 4.
The additional stage was completed by a trio from Dima Bilan's team. Nikita Vlasenko sang the song "Shores / Heaven" of his mentor. Elizabeth Kachurak sang the song "Soul" Natalia Vetlitskaya from her 1992 debut album Look Into Your Eyes. The audience decided that Elizaveta Kachurak deserved the superfinal.
In the superfinal Deniz Khekilaeva sang the song "Mom" Svetlana Lazareva, Alina Sansyzbay - Queen of the Night Whitney Houston, and Elizabeth Kachurak - Reflection of the British singer Liv Dawson.
According to the results of the audience SMS-voting, the winner of the show “Voice. Children ”, Season 4, on Channel One was 13-year-old Elizaveta Kachurak from the team of Dima Bilan, who made it to the final of the project thanks to viewers who voted for the young vocalist during the additional stage.
Even at the blind auditions, Liza Kachurak impressed the mentors not only with her angelic voice, but also with how soulfully she sang the song from the movie "Cruel Romance".
“We went to this project for a very long time and did everything together. My parents have always supported me and continue to do so. I applied twice to the show “Voice. Children ”and got into the project the third time. During this time I took part in many competitions and gained experience. Probably, we corrected all the mistakes that I had in two, ”said Elizaveta Kachurak in an interview with a Vokrug TV correspondent.
This project won the hearts of Russians literally from the first issues. Five seasons of the program have already passed, but the interest of the public has not decreased, but on the contrary, it is breaking new records in popularity. Viewers of the main channel of the country are looking forward to “Voice. Children" 2019. Already, many Russians are interested in who will be the mentors in the new show and when the casting of performers will begin.
A bit of history
This project was born on Russian television relatively recently. The first release of the program took place in February 2014. The well-known singer, composer and producer M. Fadeev was at the origins of the project. It should be noted that before that, a similar project already existed on our television, but adult performers participated in it. The program was to the taste of the domestic audience, and therefore the organizers decided to try an adapted version of the program for children. As time has shown, they were not mistaken.
The Voice Kids franchise is owned by the Netherlands. It was in this country that this project appeared in 2010. Over the past few years, this idea has been supported by more than fifty countries, including Russia.
Each new season of the Voice. Children” begins with the selection of mentors and the development of a general concept for the program. The general director K. Ernst and the musical editorial staff of Channel One set the task for the jury to show the talent of small talents in the best possible light.
The difference between the children's transmission format
The children's competition, on the advice of psychologists, was somewhat modified compared to the adult project. In the children's version, there are also three mentors who, by blind voting, choose their wards. True, the duration of the competitive process itself is reduced. In the competition for children, in addition to blind listening, there is also:
- fights;
- performance of songs "on departure";
- final speech.
Another distinctive feature of the children's competition is the performance of one composition during the duel not by two participants, but by three contenders. Thus, as a result of the duel, two performers leave the project at once. This turn of events is easier for the child's body to perceive. There is no such psychological blow if one participant leaves.
In the children's version of the competition, also mentors cannot save the wards. This was also done on the advice of psychologists in order to eliminate the envy of children. Also, only one team participates in each match. At the end of all competitions, the remaining performers sing the song that was in the blind auditions. According to the song “for the flight”, the mentors leave only two participants.
Starting from the second season, the organizers of the Russian contest made another change. Now, by telephone voting of the audience, mentors can leave one more performer in their team. He must be one of those who left the project, performing a "song to take off."

Children's "Voice" provides for two presenters. The main one leads the program itself on stage, and his assistant helps the young contestants, supporting them as much as possible. All seasons the main host is D. Nagiyev. The second hosts change every season. Over the past five years they have been:

The start of accepting applications for the sixth season of Channel One promises in August 2018. Approximately in November 2018, face-to-face castings of applicants will be held. Three photographs must be attached to the application form. Please note that the photo of the child should be visible well and clearly. Choose a few shots in which the young musician is smiling. The size of the photos attached to the questionnaire must be 100 Kb. If the selected pictures are larger, they should be cropped or compressed.
Works, extramural demonstration of talent
Audio recordings of two songs must be attached to the questionnaire. There are no restrictions in the recording transfer format, but the recording size should not exceed 2 MB. You can even record on a mobile phone or webcam, but it's better, of course, to contact a recording studio. Professionals will pick up a high-quality backing track, help you record and bring the material to the required size. You can choose any track for recording - both a well-known composition and a song of your own composition.
