Like many people from the Caucasus, he has an innate sense of rhythm and an ear for music. Tornike taught himself to play the guitar and mastered several other instruments, including national ones.

And in 2016, Kvitatiani demonstrated his singing talent to the public. To do this, he chose the fifth season of the popular TV show "Voice". At blind auditions, Tornike performed the legendary composition "Wicked Game" from the repertoire to his own accompaniment.

- I am a master of sports. ABOUT INJURIES

- When and where did you get your first serious injury?
- In 2012, right here on this carpet in the CSKA Martial Arts Palace, my right shoulder joint flew out for the first time. Then I decided to postpone the operation. But five months later there was a relapse and a very famous surgeon Sergei Vasilyevich Arkhipov operated on me. It seems that he recovered in eight months, in Moscow he passed the selection for the national championship among juniors, and became a bronze medalist. - I admired this show for four seasons. "VOICE" DOES NOT INTERFERE WITH TRAINING"

- Does participation in the Voice project interfere with training in the gym?
- Now I train once a day for two hours. And not because I'm on the show. Just after an injury, you need to gradually increase the load. I will work in this mode throughout September, in October I will begin to intensively prepare for the absolute championship of Russia, where I won silver last year. The tournament is in November, I hope the Voice program will not interfere with me. - What education do you have?
- Higher. I graduated from the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration. Faculty of Economics and Real Estate. I still don’t understand why my mother sent me there and I finished it. It would be better for me to go to a music school or a theater school. This is interesting to me. Well, what kind of economist am I? They tell me: it's not too late, go to the theater-goer. But for now, this is just talk.

- In the fight I have no enemies. I am friends with everyone. All my friends and brothers. I am pleased when wrestlers congratulate me and take pictures with me. Mostly children, of course. After the Olympics, adult wrestlers will come to Moscow. I don't think they have changed their attitude towards me. If only for the better.

- Olympic champion Soslan Ramonov is not your idol?
- He is my friend. Sosik lives with me in the next room at the CSKA sports boarding school. This is the easiest Olympic champion I know. Exiled Ramonov in Rio delighted me. I conduct such trainings, training camps, endure such injuries, operations, but no one really knows me among the fans. But wrestling is such a labor sport. I can't even imagine how our football team would have performed if its players had invested as much effort in training as our Olympic champions in wrestling. I think it's much better. Than at the last European Championship. No offense to the players, but it is unthinkable that a wrestler of the Russian national team or CSKA could appear anywhere in public with a bottle of alcohol in his hand.

- Have you heard about Julio Iglesias?
- He was the goalkeeper of Real Madrid, and then he became not only a member of the Voice, but a great singer. Julio is a legend. He conquered all women's hearts, he has not only a voice, but also charisma. I do not think that I have such vocal abilities to be on a par with him.

In order to get into the national team for my age in 2011, I had to win the fight for third place at the Russian championship in Vladikavkaz.
