Intars Busulis is a pop performer from Latvia, a participant in the Eurovision-2009 and Voice-3 music contests.

Born on May 2, 1978 in Latvia, in the city of Talsi. The family brought up five children. Intars, following his older sister, was sent to a music school, where he learned the basics of playing the trombone. The boy was drawn into music lessons. Music

Having received a secondary education, Intars goes to the seaside town of Ventspils to study at a music college. Here the young man becomes a member of the Ventspils Big Band musical ensemble, which performed under the direction of Ziedonis Zaikovskis. With his friend Raymond Tigulis, Intars creates the Caffe group. Busulis is chosen as the soloist of the musical group. Thus begins the vocal career of a musician. The project for 4 years of its existence has gained popularity among local youth.


In the early 2000s, Intars managed to work with the NVS Orchestra, with the Wet Point jazz band. In search of his own path, the artist performs at international music festivals: Kaunas Jazz (Lithuania), Nomme Jazz (Estonia), Midem (France) and Ottawa Jazz (Canada).

At the age of 26, Busulis received the Grand Prix at the Sony Jazz Stage competition for young jazz performers, and then won the main prize at the International Improvisers Competition in Pärnu. In 2005, the singer participates in the E.Y.J.O. Danish bass player Erik Musholm. The European Youth Jazz Orchestra successfully tours the countries of the European continent and North America.


Intars becomes a popular vocalist, the musician is involved in major theater projects: Notre Dame de Paris, Autoplanet, Mass by L. Bernstein. The artist collaborates with the production company Virus Art and participates in productions of Cabaret, Kino Cabaret, Cabaret Allez, Cabaret plin, plin.... In 2004, Busulis received the Grand Prix at the Baltic Jazz Competition vocalists of the "Sony Jazz Stage", and then another one - at the improvisation competition in Pärnu.Since 2005, Busulis has performed in Canada and European countries with Erik Mosuholm (Denmark) as part of his jazz orchestra "European Youth" (E.Y.J.O).
