Hello guys!

- Today we will write an essay-description on the picture. We are already familiar with this artist and this type of text.

Remember what features of this type of texts you know?

Remember what an artistic style of speech is.

We will create our description using the artistic style of speech.

− How is the description constructed?

The peculiarity of the description of the picture lies in the fact that

a) it is necessary to understand the intention of the artist;

b) find out how the artist managed to realize his idea (the originality of the composition of the picture, paint, lighting);

c) convey your attitude to the landscape in the picture, the feelings, thoughts, desires that this landscape evokes in you.

− What artistic means should be used to make your description colorful, expressive and accurate? What part of speech will help you accurately and vividly describe the features of objects?

Let's refresh the facts of the biography of the famous artist.

- Konstantin Fedorovich Yuon (1875 - 1958) - the largest Russian painter, the creator of deeply national images of Russian nature. The artist was born in Moscow. He received his artistic education at the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. Yuon constantly painted modest and beautiful Central Russian nature. His landscapes have always been distinguished by poetry, sincerity and cheerfulness. The artist's favorite theme was the end of winter, the beginning of spring, the joyful awakening of nature from its winter sleep. Blue-white snow, a clear blue sky and the spring sun flooding everything with its warmth and light, the fabulously magical decoration of the winter forest - all this vividly appears before us on the canvases of K. F. Yuon. His paintings “Russian Winter”, “Winter Sun” , “End of winter. Midday" are impressive, create a cheerful, cheerful mood.

Consider the painting by K. F. Yuon “Swallows and Domes”. We see the high vault of the dome, which is breathtaking. There is in painting the concept of "Yuonian sky" (azure-blue, "washed"). The artist knows how to convey the fullness of life in everything: in the March snow, in the flight of swallows over the domes of the church. Houses under the sky seem like toys (from a bird's eye view) in comparison with the huge sky, which takes up more than half of the canvas. The blue sky is "decorated" with swallows.
- The artist in the foreground depicted five church domes.
- Four domes are white with golden spots, and the fifth - the main dome - is all gold.
- On each dome there is a cross, and one of them is reflected on a large gold one.
- The monastery is visible below. Lots of houses painted in bright colors.
- There is a lot of greenery in the city.

What do you think the artist's intention is? What is this picture about? Why is she so named?

– How does the foreground drawing reveal the main idea of the artist? What is the role of lighting in the foreground? What do you think the artist in the foreground likes the most?

How did the artist depict the sky?

- How does the background of the picture help Yuon to realize the idea? What colors dominate in the background?

– Why should the present tense be preferred to the past tense of verbs when describing? (This enhances the vividness of the description.)

-Thus, you have at your disposal a lot of means to make your speech correct, figurative and expressive. Take advantage of this wealth!

Let's make a plan

1. Introduction. The artist and his paintings or K.F. Yuon - master of landscape

2. Description of the painting. Unusual angle of the picture.

a) foreground: domes, crosses, the roof of the temple

b) background: swallows, clouds, houses, steam locomotive smoke

3. Conclusion. My impressions of the painting.

- Our speech should be rich in content, correct in form, figurative. Therefore, unjustified repetitions (tautologies) should be avoided.

Creation date: 1921

Yuon Konstantin (1875-1958) - Russian Soviet painter, master of landscape, theater artist, art theorist. In his early work, Yuon often turned to the motives of the Russian village: the artist was interested in the state of nature, the change of seasons, the life of provincial towns and villages, the architecture of ancient churches and monasteries. His painting style was influenced by the lessons of Korovin and Serov. After the revolution, the individual handwriting of the artist has changed little, the range of subjects has become somewhat different. One of the best works of art is a canvas called "Domes and Swallows". This is a very bright and glorious page in the painting of the Soviet Union. The painting was painted in 1921 on the theme of ancient cities and architectural buildings. It was during this period of writing that the author's talent unfolded in the best possible way. The image in front of us is a very unusual and interesting angle. The artist himself seems to have become one of the birds and soars with them in the clouds. As if from a flight, from a height, he saw all the beauty of the earth and conveyed it to the audience with paints. The composition looks very colorful and bright. The canvas shows the architecture of Zagorsk, which captivates the viewer with its uniqueness. The painter chose an unusual point of view, so everything takes on a new and unexpected look for the viewer. In the background, the artist showed ordinary houses, and in the foreground, the shrine that people created. With the help of the temple in the picture, the author wanted to show us what the unity of earth and sky should have been! After all, golden-colored crosses are depicted on the canvas, noticeably reaching out to God, and after them sinful people who want to atone for sins will approach paradise. The whole composition around rejoices, rejoices, delving into the picture, you can feel the spring warmth, which the author tried to reflect, which also shows the sun, happiness and crosses that ascend only to the heavenly sky. Painting art is designed to give the viewer something eternal, reasonable and beautiful. This is exactly what you can get by looking closely at the optimistic and bright canvas of Yuon. The author not only makes you admire the architecture and nature of the ancient city of Russia, but also joins the spiritual life.

The painting by Konstantin Yuon "Domes and Swallows" allows not only to admire the ancient architecture of Zagorsk (now Sergiev Posad), but also to join the spiritual life.

As if uniting heaven and earth, the artist lovingly paints the domes of the temple with golden crosses stretching towards God, calling on sinful people to cleanse their souls with repentance and come closer to paradise. Yuon chooses an unusual angle for the image: from a bird's eye view, the domes look majestic, more solemn ... the view below, illuminated by the brilliance of the domes, also acquires a festive mood. Feel the joy of being.

The swallows circling over the city emphasize the artist's desire to convey to people the awareness of the importance of spirituality. In Christianity, it is the swallow that is a symbol of resurrection: returning from the sea with the advent of spring, it brings new life.

The swallow symbolizes the supernatural power that protects the believer.

The whole composition is permeated with spring warmth and gives the viewer something eternal, reasonable and beautiful.

2. Introductory speech of the teacher. Story about the artist.

Konstantin Fedorovich Yuon lived a long and happy life. He was born long before the revolution, on October 24, 1875, in Moscow.

Strange for the perception of Russian-speaking surname Konstantin Yuon is obliged to his ancestors, immigrants from Switzerland. However, by the time the future artist was born, the family of the insurance agent Fyodor Yuon had become completely Russified. The boy became the fourth child in a family in which the education of children was taken seriously. The older brother and sister studied at the Moscow Conservatory. Musical evenings, theatrical amateur performances, "live pictures" were constantly arranged in the house. Noise, laughter did not subside in the house, there were constantly guests, distant and close relatives gathered, friends came. There is a widely known story about how one of the guests of the house taught seven-year-old Kostya how to mix paints. And away we go! From now on, households at any time could tell with a high degree of accuracy what the boy was doing now - drawing, of course. A teacher at a real school confirmed that he not only draws, but has a considerable talent for it. At the same time, young Konstantin Yuon became addicted to visiting the Tretyakov Gallery. The question of further self-determination was not before him, since he had already decided it. Yuon entered the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture in 1894. From the very beginning of his studies, he participated in exhibitions. He tried himself in different genres of painting, but the Russian landscape became his vocation. At the beginning of the 20th century, official recognition came, his paintings were acquired by the Tretyakov Gallery. After the revolution, he was successful: personal exhibitions were organized, he taught, headed the Research Institute of Theory and History of Fine Arts of the USSR Academy of Arts, he was awarded the Stalin Prize. At the same time, many churches in the paintings of the artist Yuon, including the famous "Domes and Swallows", were painted during the years of active struggle against the church. And this is one of the mysteries of Yuon. Konstantin Fedorovich Yuon died in 1958 on April 11, when he was 82 years old and was buried in Moscow.

3. Conversation about the picture.

Consider a reproduction of the paintingK.F. Yuon "Domes and swallows". (On the screen and in the textbook in the reproductions section). Who knew which domes of the temple the artist depicted? (Before us are the domes of the Assumption Cathedral of the Trinity-Sergius Lavra) . Where do you think the artist painted this canvas from? Why do we get the impression that the author is soaring with the birds? Those who have been to the Trinity-Sergius Lavra guessed that this unusual angle arose due to the fact that the picture was painted from the bell tower of the Lavra, most likely from its third tier, and there are five of them in total.

Before we start looking into the details of the picture, carefully studying it, let's talk about the mood that it causes you. What feelings does it evoke? (The picture is permeated with light and joy ). What causes such a feeling?(Sun, bright blue domes and golden crosses in the foreground).

Determinepainting genre . Justify your choice.(The genre of fine art, where the main thing is the image of nature, the environment, views of the countryside, cities, historical monuments, is called landscape ).

Whichtype of speech will we use today?( Description ).

What is characteristic of the description?(An abundance of epithets that are characteristic of the artistic style of speech).

What else do we need to know in order to write an essay-description on the picture? (You need to know that the picture has a foreground and a background ).

What do you think the author usually puts in the foreground? (The main thing is shown in the foreground, the main ). Tell us what you see in the foreground of the picture. (In the foreground of the picture is a shrine that sanctifies the city, giving everything else a special meaning. ).

What is the background for? (The background serves as the background against which the action unfolds. ). What can you say about the background? What parts does it consist of? (The background consists of two parts - the sky with clouds and the city ). What can be said about the city? What impression does he make? (Small houses immersed in greenery, a river slowly flows in the distance, a steam locomotive is visible, blowing clouds of smoke. The background does not distract from the main ). And the sky? Why does the sky take up half the picture? What did the author want to say by creating just such a composition? What symbols are read in the picture? (The sky is a symbol of the spiritual aspirations of man, and the domes in the foreground of the picture unite heaven and earth ).

Let's talk about colors, about the paints that the artist uses. What colors do you see? (The picture has a lot of blue sky with white feathers of clouds, the city is depicted in dark, calm colors. And the domes are white with gold ). What mood does this combination of colors create? (Festive mood, upbeat ).

The artist called his painting "Domes and Swallows". Why does he need swallows? Let's imagine a picture without them.

As a hint, I want to read you a poem by Ivan Esaulkov.

Summer. Sergiev Posad.
Golden domes.
Swallows fly in the sky
And the picture came to life.

Everyone is captivated by beauty
This species is unusual.
Over the home side
The bells are flying

Bending the sky expanse,
Makes its flight.
and Assumption Monastery
Like floating in the clouds.

And below, among the gardens,
The steam locomotive has run its course.
Reaching for the clouds
Blue smoke floats.

Great review -
Like you're looking down from heaven
You see the city and the cathedral
Domes, on each - a cross.

On a sunny sunny day
Beauty conquers.
And on the main dome a shadow
Reflected from the cross...
