1.3 million people from Russia, as well as countries of near and far abroad took part in the voting. The project covered a wide variety of audience segments, including young users: for example, 10% of the votes for their favorite artists were given by people under 18, while about 50% of voted users were under 35. Moscow became the most active region in terms of the number of votes: 15% of the votes were given by residents of the capital. Also, the artists received the greatest support from Krasnodar, Yekaterinburg and Novosibirsk.
Voting started on October 11 in the Channel One group on the social network. Users could choose three favorite artists from a shortlist based on the music preferences of the OK audience, as well as suggest another artist from those who did not make the top 60. After two weeks of voting, the top 10 artists most frequently suggested by users were included in the main list.

For us, it was an interesting and unexpected experiment, born impromptu: Odnoklassniki offered to hold such a vote on the air of their show, and we accepted this proposal. This is a good opportunity to "synchronize watches", to understand how much we feel and understand the audience's request. We were also ready for completely unexpected results - the list that was originally proposed for voting was not Channel One. These are the artists whose music is most often listened to by Odnoklassniki users. As it turned out, we understand each other well with the audience. The voting leader, Grigory Leps, regularly takes part in the broadcasts of Channel One and was the mentor of Golos for two seasons, as was Polina Gagarina, who took fourth place. Nargiz was completely opened by the "Voice". In a sense, this project introduced Basta to a wide audience, far from rap culture. Alla Pugacheva, around whose name spears broke according to the results of the last New Year's project, entered the top 10 most sought-after stars - we take off our hats, we hope, along with those who doubted this. In a word, we coincided in many respects, but somewhere we received interesting tips and we will be happy to invite artists who have not been involved in our broadcast before to participate in our New Year's project. It was important for us to give different people the opportunity to choose their favorite artists. The shortlist includes musicians who are popular with various segments of the audience: very young stars and already well-known participants in New Year's shows, rappers, rock musicians, and pop music performers. Thanks to this, all active groups of the Odnoklassniki audience took part in the voting: children, teenagers, young people under 35 and older users. As a result, the top 30 turned out to meet the interests of different people: now it will be much more interesting for OK users to watch the New Year's broadcast.
Participants of the New Year's broadcast on Channel One will be chosen by viewers by voting on the Odnoklassniki social network. Using the Your Stars on First app, users will be able to select from a shortlist of up to three artists they want to see live on the night of December 31, 2017 to January 1, 2018.
Also available is the function to enter the name of another artist who was not in the list.
The shortlist of performers was compiled based on the popularity rating of performers in Odnoklassniki, according to the Rosregistr portal. According to Dni.ru, the preliminary top 60 has already included such popular groups as Mushrooms, Time and Glass, IOWA, as well as Polina Gagarina, Ani Lorak, Irina Dubtsova, Mot and many others.
Some of the users expressed the hope to see TV presenter Olga Buzova on the stage of the New Year's light, and someone - the infamous heroine of the show "Let them talk" Diana Shurygina.
Channel One took a creative approach to preparing the New Year and, in cooperation with the Odnoklassniki social network, launched a new application, Your Stars on Channel One. This application can be found in the official Channel One group on OK. Users are offered a list of stars, potential participants in the New Year's spark.
You can choose only three performers. Well, after summing up the leaders will be invited to the First.
The experiment was originally the idea of the channel's general director, Konstantin Ernst, which he shared at the beginning of this year, answering questions from viewers about the dominance of "the same faces" on the screens live on Odnoklassniki.
Whether viewers will see the desired stars on their screens or not is an open question.

The public is also not sure if the idea is good.
“Spectators have been outraged by the quality of the New Year's program on Channel One for many years. It's really impossible to watch her. That's why the channel's management decided to "kill two birds with one stone" with one shot - and try to improve the quality of the content, and shift the responsibility for this quality to the viewers. At the same time, it is “correct” to refuse those performers who have already really “got everyone”, referring again to the choice of the audience.
Moreover, the choice was entrusted to those who are registered in the Odnoklassniki social network, i.e. those, in my opinion, who do not have particularly good taste (not about all “classmates”, this can, of course, be said, but still intellectually developed people with good musical and non-musical taste rarely register in Odnoklassniki, unless they register specifically just for this vote).

For the first time in the history of television, Channel One decided on a unique experiment: the Odnoklassniki social network hosted a popular vote for singers who would headline the New Year's broadcast of the country's main TV channel. Initially, Konstantin Ernst suggested choosing artists for the New Year's concert based on the results of voting by OK users. This was announced by the General Director of Channel One in January of this year on the air of the online show “OK in touch!”. Anyone could make a choice.
The shortlist of performers was compiled based on the popularity rating of performers in Odnoklassniki. The top 60 includes singers and groups whose tracks are most often listened to by OK users. Among the artists there are both regular participants in the New Year's television broadcasts, for example, Polina Gagarina, Irina Dubtsova and Ani Lorak, as well as newcomers - “ Mushrooms», « Time is up», Jah Khalib And Mot, IOWA, etc.
Today, 20 days after the launch of the voting, it became known which of the stars will perform at the First on New Year's Eve. The list was headed by Grigory Leps, who scored 60,343 votes. Ani Lorak came in second with 42,345 votes. Closes the top three Nargiz Zakirova - 38,778 votes. Also in the top ten were Alla Pugacheva, the Leningrad group, Svetlana Loboda and others. The most discussed celebrity of recent months - Olga Buzova - is located only in 33rd place. However, Philip Kirkorov, Sofia Rotaru and Stas Mikhailov also did not enter the top twenty.

It is worth noting that participation in the filming of Nargiz Zakirova is a big question. The fact is that after the announcement of the popular vote, the producer of the singer, Maxim Fadeev, came down with harsh criticism on the leadership of Channel One. According to Fadeev, his music is banned on this channel by the personal decision of the general director Konstantin Ernst. The composer noted that getting into the list of his artists - Nargiz Zakirova and the Serebro group - is nothing more than an attempt to attract attention. Therefore, the well-known producer said that neither he nor his artists would appear on the air of the country's main TV channel.
“I consider my artists to the category of people who also deserve respect, and we, of course, even if we get into the top voting, we will not participate in the filming. Because we will again be dressed up as clowns and forced to sing a duet with the leader of the Control Purchase. Already now, watching the first results of the voting, I see that Nargiz is in the top three. We respect and appreciate your attention and love for the artist. But I want to ask each of you to support us and not vote, so as not to expose your favorite artist as a clown,” writes Maxim Fadeev.

Odnoklassniki users voted for the artists who will perform on New Year's Eve on Channel One. This is the first such experiment - previously the music management of the TV channel did not involve potential viewers in the selection of performers.
The idea of voting arose during live broadcast"Odnoklassnikov", whose guest was the General Director of Channel One Konstantin Ernst. The decision was the result of a harsh audience and producer Maxim Fadeev in the address of the previous New Year's Eve.
Voting took place from 11 to 31 October. Users could support any of the 60 artists - this list was compiled by the social network management "based on the musical preferences of the audience." Also, Odnoklassniki gave the opportunity to suggest other performers and two weeks later added 10 artists to the main list.
On November 2, Odnoklassniki announced the results, according to which 30 artists or groups will perform at the New Year's concert. According to internal statistics, about 50% of those who voted were not yet 35 years old, the majority of votes (15%) were given by residents of Moscow.
Grigory Leps, who regularly performs at New Year's concerts, became the winner of the popular vote. The top ten were Ani Lorak, Nargiz, Polina Gagarina, Artik pres.Asti, Leningrad, Alekseev, Hands Up, Svetlana Loboda and Alla Pugacheva (listed in descending order).
An unexpected choice of Odnoklassniki users may seem to be Basta, Burito, Max Barskikh, Egor Creed, Dan Balan, MiyaGi & Endgame and Mushrooms. In addition to them, Valeria, Natalie, Stas Mikhailov, Irina Allegrova, Elena Vaenga, Sofia Rotaru, Philip Kirkorov, Yuri Shatunov, Serebro, Vremya I Steklo, Stas Piekha, IOWA and Slava got the opportunity to speak on Channel One.
The artists have not yet received invitations to participate in the New Year's concert, TJ was told on Channel One. Music editors will contact the performers after the producers have decided on the concept of the holiday broadcast. Theoretically, artists can refuse to perform - the channel promised to announce such cases.
As explained on Channel One, the dates for filming the New Year's issue have not yet been determined, but the musicians will have the opportunity to combine the recording with the tour schedule. Usually filming stretches over several weeks, but the last time the channel partially used live broadcast and filmed the rest of the "New Year's Eve" relatively late - in December.
The press service of Odnoklassniki told TJ that they were discussing new partner projects with Channel One, including on the theme of the New Year. Channel One, in turn, did not rule out the emergence of joint projects with the social network in the future.
