How to draw an octopus with a pencil step by step. Non-traditional drawing techniques with young children "Octopuses"

23.06.2020

And hello again everyone!
Call your children to the monitors, because today we will learn how to easily draw a minion in stages. For those who do not know minions - these are such cute and funny characters from the Despicable Me cartoon trilogy. They are all yellow in color, look like chocolate egg toy packaging, speak their own language, and all the time get into interesting situations under the leadership of their owner, an awkward man with a big nose named Gru. Although I think that every adult, and even more so a child, imagines what these restless pets look like.
I will draw with a felt-tip pen, you can follow my example or use a simple pencil to correct the drawing if something happens. Take a sheet of paper, preferably landscape.
If you want to draw a large minion, then it is better to place the sheet vertically, if you plan to depict several pieces next to each other, then you can horizontally. All minions are very similar to each other, but there is one significant difference - some are more fortunate and have two eyes, while others are content with only one. I will draw a more developed yellowbell that sees twice as well.

I'll start drawing from the eyes. First, we depict two identical circles, around which we make a border. The edging will serve as points in the future. It turned out like this eight.

To make the eyes real, add pupils to them. I draw two pieces, who decided to portray a one-eyed cyclops will do it twice as fast!

In the next step, we will draw a body for our minion. Here you can dream up. Depending on the size of the torso, it will be high, low or regular, like mine.

Are there bald minions? Certainly! But I decided to make mine handsome, gave him such rare curls. You can depict the vegetation on the head in a different way, for example, draw a thick tuft from one point, similar to how a palm tree grows. And at this stage, do not forget to draw the strap from the glasses. It turned out like this.

The yellow men are mostly dressed in the same denim overalls, in other words, just trousers with straps. My friend is no exception. Now I will draw the very straps on which to hold the pants. The dots on the straps are buttons or buttons.

I almost left our yellow hero without the opportunity to discuss the latest news with his brothers. Let's go back and draw his mouth. I like to smile, so of course I decorated my face with a smiling grin.

What's next, you ask? Further we will draw hands, one is raised up, the other is lowered. You may be different, both up, both down, you can even portray a one-armed bandit. In fact, these are just blanks, a little later we will turn them into real hands.

Let's return to the torso and clothes, draw a jumpsuit with an obligatory pocket in the middle.

In the next step, let's finish the arms and finish the brushes, in my drawing it turned out like this.

There is a head, there are hands. What is missing? Correctly draw the minion's legs. This is also easy and simple to do. That's all the drawing is ready!

Of course, children love colorful and bright drawings more. Therefore, so that the impressions of today's lesson remain in your memory for a long time, take pencils or felt-tip pens and decorate the picture, as I did. The minion itself is yellow, the clothes are blue, the eyes are brown, and the glasses can be shaded with a silver felt-tip pen or a simple pencil. I think it turned out great, write your opinion in the comments.

Hi all! With today's step-by-step drawing lesson, we will again delight fans of the Marvel universe, because the main character of this lesson will be one of the most famous comic book villains - Doctor Octopus! We will draw him, like many other Marvel characters, in a classic form - our doctor Octopus will have the appearance of a short, stocky, who is very angry and holds a grudge against the whole world. By the way, the real name of our today's hero is Otto Octavius, and domestic Marvel fans could see him in the Spider-Man animated series.

In general, our guest today is directly related to Spider-Man - at the very beginning of the story, Otto was a teacher of young Peter Parker, and after his terrible metamorphosis, the evil Doctor became one of the main enemies of Spider-Man, causing him a lot of trouble - he kidnapped Peter, Mary Jane, teamed up with other villains, overturned passenger trains and much more. Let's start the lesson and find out how to draw Doctor Octopus!

Step 1

Let's start with a stickman - a man made of sticks and circles, with which we designate the main proportions of the character, his posture and position on paper. First, a little about proportions: a human figure close to the ideal has a height equal to the sum of the lengths of seven to seven and a half heads, of which 4 are on the legs. But the growth of our today's hero is below average, and in general he looks very grotesque - this must be reflected in the stickman.

But the shoulders are nevertheless very wide - ideally, the width of the shoulders is equal to the sum of the widths of three heads, in our case this is approximately what happens. True, at this stage the shoulders are Already three heads, but this is until we have drawn the deltoid muscles.

Let's return to the stickman - we outline the arms that rest against the sides, forming almost right angles in the elbows.

The head of our Doctor will have a round shape. In realistic drawing, the silhouette of a human head has an ovoid shape, more precisely, the shape of an inverted egg, and here the shape of a circle is due, firstly, to a slightly elevated position of the head, and secondly, to Otto's complexion - he is slightly plump.

Step 2

Stickman is ready, now let's give it volume. But first, let's mark the head - draw a vertical line of facial symmetry, which will divide the face into two equal parts. It will intersect first of all with the eye line perpendicular to it. By the way, usually the line of the eyes is located approximately in the middle of the face, but here it is higher due to the slightly tilted back position of the head. Immediately below the line of the eyes, we outline the lines and the mouth with strokes, and the distance between the lines of the eyes and nose should be very small.

The neck should look like a short flattened cylinder on which the head rests. With large balls, we outline the shoulder joints and connect them to the neck with short lines located at a slight slope.

 1. Shoulder ball
 2. Cylinders of the shoulders proper (formed by the biceps inside and the triceps outside, occupying the part from the shoulder joint to the elbow joint)
 3. The elbow joint itself
 4. Forearms (looks like rectangles)
 5. Hands (clenched fists are indicated by pentagons at this stage)

The torso narrows slightly downward, but not due to the narrow waist, but due to the pronounced muscles of the chest and back. By the way, draw the pectoral muscles with a line, the ends of which rest against the balls of the shoulders.

It's helpful to follow the stickman's lines throughout this step, but it's especially helpful to refer to them while drawing the crotch and waist, which look like a triangle and a horizontally elongated rectangle, respectively.

Next is the legs. Identify the hip parts with figures that look like cylinders, only tapering towards the knee. Designate the knee joints with rounded figures, do not forget about the characteristic bending of the calf muscles (here it is especially pronounced on the outer sides of the lower leg). Finish the step by marking the feet.

Step 3

Let's draw our visiting card - its metal tentacles. More precisely, we will not draw, but outline their silhouettes. They should be smooth, rounded, and everything except the bottom left of us should sharply increase towards the tips. This is especially pronounced on the upper tentacles to the left of us.

Note that such an increase is necessary for the correct transmission of the distance. Another point - the tentacles are attached to the back, in the area of the junction of the thoracic and lumbar sections, two on each side, this must be taken into account when planning them.

Step 4

The silhouette of Doctor Octopus is ready, let's start drawing it. We always detail the silhouettes of people in the direction from head to toe, and today's lesson will not be an exception.

Therefore, in this step we will draw a face. Using the outlined lines from the previous steps, draw wide glasses, a short nose and a mouth with a retracted lower lip, clenched teeth and long nasolabial folds. Mark the lines of the cheeks, cheekbones and ears, draw the hairstyle "pot". Hair lines are always drawn in the direction from the tips to the roots, that is, in our case, from top to bottom.

Step 5

Let's go down and draw the torso. Erase the extra guide lines from the neck and draw the folds of the fabric with a few short horizontal strokes.

A smooth line passing from the trapezoid to the line of the tentacle will denote the collar. Then we will erase almost the entire line of the chest, leaving a small line of the pectoral muscle, put a couple of strokes on the torso and outline the line of the belt. Please note that the belt should be located slightly above the area in front of which the fists are located.

Step 6

Let's draw the tentacles. In general, these four limbs in all versions of the story about (namely, Doctor Octopus most often appears in the comic book about this hero) have the same history of occurrence. The talented scientist Otto Octavius designed metal tentacles that were controlled by a remote control. After the explosion in the laboratory, the tentacles attached to the back area, under the influence of some substances and high temperature, fused with Otto's spinal cord, turning him into a terrible doctor Octopus. By the way, in many comics and TV shows in this story, it also appears as the boss and head of research for our hero. But we digress.

Let's apply curved horizontal stripes to the tentacles - segments that provide mobility and maneuverability to the metal limbs. Please note that the segments are more intense and dense as they approach the back, this pattern does not affect only the lower tentacle, located on our left side. Let's draw the claws, consisting of two parts.

Step 7

Next in line is our left hand. Draw a hand along the lines outlined earlier - outline the outer contour, draw a few folds of fabric in the armpit area. More folds are located in the area of the elbow and wrist, and in the area of the forearm there should be vertical lines that will indicate the muscles protruding through the tight suit. When drawing a fist, pay attention to the knuckles and tendons, as well as the silhouettes of the fingers.

Step 8

In full analogy with the previous step, draw the second hand. We do everything according to the same scheme - we outline the contours of the hand, erase the extra guide lines, draw the knuckles and fingers. Very small differences will be in the folds of the fabric - on this arm in the armpit area there will be a little less of them.

Step 9

Let's draw the left leg from us. Let's erase the markup from the previous steps from it, but first draw a few folds in the knee area - almost all of them are located at the edges, only one, the one that is below all, is located approximately in the middle. Also pay attention to the vertical line that starts on the pants, just below the knee, and, interrupted, continues on the boot.

By the way, on the boot itself, do not forget the folds in the ankle area - they are indicated both by a change in the outer contour of the boot and by lines inside. Place a few more lines in the toe area, as in our sample.

Step 10

Actually, the right leg from us is even simpler, here you don’t have to draw the folds of the knee area, since this place is covered by a tentacle. Note the folds on the fabric in the groin area - they are located at the junction of the legs and torso.

Step 11

Let's put shadows. They should be done in a comic style - rough, contrasting and similar to black, densely shaded spots. The easiest way to apply them is in two stages - first denoting the contour of the shadow, then painting over it with a simple soft one. True, there is one feature here - the shadows on the metal tentacles.

Note that the shadows on the tentacles look like dark stripes that diverge along the length of each limb, occasionally breaking off at the turning points. Another point is that the shadow areas located on the segments of the tentacles closest to us are very large, but as they move away from us, they decrease, and completely change their position on turns.

How to draw an octopus step by step

Today we are drawing an octopus. Or rather, not so: let's draw a beautiful decorative picture on the theme "Octopus". We will try to draw this exotic inhabitant of the deep sea in a similar way, but for beauty we will apply stylization and allow ourselves some convention.

So, the idea: we need to beautifully fill the entire sheet with a pattern. The first thing to consider and observe is that all eight tentacles are the same length. Although the sheet of paper is rectangular, the composition must be inscribed in a circle. We will remember this for the future, so that we do not have the temptation to stretch four tentacles into the corners of the sheet, and the remaining four to the middle of the sides.

After all, we are drawing an octopus, not the English flag. But to business! Let's start drawing step by step. Just above the center, draw a body with eyes and mark where to extend the tentacles. There are eight tentacles, so the task before us is not an easy one - to distribute them evenly.

It seems to have turned out well, but the torso looks somehow stupid. Not an octopus, but some kind of cartoon hippopotamus. Let's try to fix the situation, or start a new picture? God bless him, this is a training drawing, so let's not balk. Let's draw another octopus, but we'll be smarter: we place the body at an angle. We distribute the directions of the tentacles.

Beautiful twists will add beauty to the picture. But keep in mind: curls do not have to be all strictly the same. We do not twist them in one direction. But, if four are wrapped in one, and the remaining four in another, then it will seem correct, but too strict and geometric. We always repeat: strict geometric shapes are extremely rare in wildlife. So we will try to add variety to the pattern of curls of tentacles, we will show our extraordinary imagination.

Now let's decide on the thickness of these limbs. The tentacles are wide near the body, tapering evenly towards the end. Well, now the tentacles are beautifully twisted. Let's not forget about the suckers, let's designate them with a conditional pattern along the edge of the tentacles. It's easy to say, but what about in practice? Let's denote the tentacles with letters, like this:

And what? Everything is clear with A, B, F, Z, you can also figure out about C and E, but what about C and D and D, which are directed forward? We see them from above. How to draw suckers on them? Let's cheat a little and show only a part of the suction cups at the end of the curl. Well, they drew an Octopus: handsome - blood with milk, admire it!

To consolidate our progress in drawing up a beautiful decorative composition in a circle, let's draw a few more octopuses: arrange the bodies in different ways and try to draw tentacles, in accordance with the situation.

The biggest wins always start small. The greatest artist began with childish, inept drawings. In this article I will tell you how to draw an octopus - perhaps this is what will push your child to creative development and love for drawing.

So we start again with a simple base. The task is to see a simple form in a complex object, and then make it acquire more and more small and characteristic details. By the way, I was very interested in the ARTIFEX creative almanac, where you can learn about different aspects of art - I recommend that you read it.

Let's get back to the drawing. Erase the lower part of the base and begin to depict the lower part of the octopus. The lines don't have to be straight and sharp - the best solution is to go for smooth, curved shapes - just remember what an octopus looks like and how its eight limbs are arranged.

We already have two side lines, it remains to add six more main lines of the octopus limbs. I make the extreme lines a little shorter, and those in the middle should be the longest.

But octopus tentacles can't be that thin, so we need to add a few more lines connecting the tentacles together. They will still be curved, but notice that each of the limbs tapers towards the end. The ends themselves should be soft and smooth.

In the next step of drawing the octopus, we will again need to work on the tentacles - here we will already add such lines that will indicate the lower surface of its limbs.

Since we are drawing a cartoon octopus, it will have a rather funny face. Let's start, perhaps, with the eyes - we draw two large circles, the iris of the eyes with pupils and highlights, as well as small eyebrows.

Just below the eyes depicted earlier, draw a small mouth, spread out in a smile - this will make our octopus friendly and cute.

Well, now you can add details - let's draw small groups of spots on the head and tentacles of the octopus. The spots should be neat and, of course, different in size. You can also draw suction cups on the underside of the tentacles, but that's optional.
