How to make a treasure map for a pirate party. Pirate party for kids: yo-ho-ho and a bottle of cola

29.09.2019

Rrr! Beasts-pirates in search of treasure!

Pyrrrat Karrrts is a simple game where you need to get your Pyrrrats on the table as quickly as possible. At first, it’s simple - which pirate is already on the table, this one can be laid out. And then it gets more difficult - because each card has its own special properties!

Captain, we need to collect a treasure map!

But it was blown to pieces in the farthest corners of the Caribbean. A task that pirates who are not afraid of adventure and the most terrible storms will cope with. Which of you has the most daring team? Forward, other captains are on the alert! This is the sea, which means that the rules can change right in the process of swimming - be careful and cunning.

What to do?

In this bright game, smelling of gunpowder and sea salt, you can swim freely, or you can go in search of parts of the map and the main treasure - a golden pineapple.

How to play?

To swim, you lay out the cards on the table so that next to the deck of pirate cards you have an open discard pile. Deal out 8 cards to the players. Everyone plays clockwise: if you have a card in your hand with the same pirate as on the top card of the discard pile, you can put it on top. If there is no such card, you will have to take a card from the closed deck into your hand and pass the turn to the next one. Your goal is to be the first to discard all cards from your hand.

What about a map?

Treasure seekers receive one of the four parts of the card, and the whole round they try to get the next one - it is also given for a freed hand. Whoever collects all 4 map pieces first wins.

Adventure is always more important

You have an entire booklet of rules, but there are also adventure cards that can change the basic rules. Listen to the cards! There are always surprises in the sea. For example, a card is laid out with the condition that if you walk as a monkey, you must give another card to another player - do not forget, you must always follow the implementation of all adventure cards.

Who adds adventure to you?

Imagine the pirate who won the round! He draws, cunning, three cards from the adventure deck, hides one back under the deck, puts one on the table, and takes the third for himself as part of the treasure map. Nothing, but in the next round, it's not him who goes first, but the neighbor on the left.

Chasing the Jolly Roger!

"Pirate Cards" is a fairly simple and fast game in which something changes all the time, so you need attentiveness and concentration, which train well in the process. Suitable for the whole family - can be given to both children and adults. It will especially appeal to fans of pirate themes, the aesthetics of navigation, those who watched all the "Pirates of the Caribbean" in the director's cut, and those who just love fun light board games for half an hour.

Who is Pirate Maps for?

  • In the family, play with the child.
  • For a children's holiday.
  • Visiting parents.
  • Play at school, on the road, in a cafe and in the country.
  • Gift for a little pirate.

Composition of "Pirate Maps"

  • 55 pirate cards
  • 40 adventure cards,

Pirate Map Corr is a small work of art. She directly asks for hands, and the game can be given directly to anyone in it.

I hope you agree with me that every self-respecting parent should arrange a treasure hunt for their child (at least once). We have already searched for a secret chest on and an explosive device at a training in.

But what treasures without pirates? It's time to tell how we arranged a treasure hunt for children on one of the birthdays. As you know, the pirate theme, the search for treasures and treasures is an almost win-win scenario for a birthday - a quest for children (and sometimes even for adults), you can see one of them.

But since we didn't have pirate costumes, decided to get by with a lightweight option - not to dedicate children to pirates, but simply to look for a treasure (that is, a birthday present hidden by pirates). The game was held at our house in the winter, indoors. But it would be even better in the warm season in nature: in the country or in the park in the fresh air, if the weather allows.

Props and preparation for the quest

Purchased and prepared by hand props:

  • balls, flags, napkins with pirate symbols,

  • watercolor pencils,
  • compass,
  • "archaeological sets" with skulls,
  • a lot of plastic containers from chocolate eggs (they put a key in one, sweets in the rest), all of them were hidden in a black bag,
  • chocolate coins and banknotes,

  • a chest (found in home stocks), covered it with pirate pictures,
  • as well as a lock with a key,

  • a set of pirate accessories (hook, earring, sword, eye patch).

Of course, they prepared with their own hands map to(a piece of drawing paper was soaked several times in tea leaves, then slightly torn and seared over the edges of the candle), a pirate dictionary and honorary pirate diplomas were printed out (more on that below).

Treasure Map

cut for dress scarf from black fabric, with white paint sketched a skeletal pattern.

Also prepared personalized souvenirs(they were put into bags, tied with a coarse cord, and the seals were made of plasticine, the initials of the birthday girl and guests were written on them).

Ships of eggs, mayonnaise, sausage and cheese were quickly built on the table. Toothpicks were used as masts, and pirate flags were pre-printed in a photo studio on A4 sheet, cut out and glued to toothpicks.

Quest script

Of course, the treasure was hidden in advance according to the prepared map.
And so, while the unsuspecting guests congratulate the unsuspecting birthday man:

A treasure was found in our house,
You never dreamed of this
_____ years ago
Our _____ is born!

At this moment, malevolent voices are heard from the next room. pirate screams(SONG 1) Everyone runs in there.

There are pirate footprints (accessories) and a letter around:

“You will not see gifts, you will not see a holiday!
Your chest is in a safe place. You won't find it!
Ha ha ha! Thousand devils!
Pirates»

Next to it is another note:

“Maybe we’ll give away your chest… Only 13 gold coins from you for a treasure map!
So that!"

pirate language

To deal with pirates, you need to understand their language. They read words from pirate slang to children, and they had to remember or guess their meaning:

To get "gold coins" and hints, the children had to complete the tasks of the game.

"Settled a desert island"

Each was given a balloon and a marker. For a set time, the children drew little men on them. The one with the most populous island wins. He got a chocolate coin.

"Sea Knots"

Pirates must be able to tie sea knots. Or at least the usual ones :). Since there were also very small treasure hunters, the task was simplified. They handed it out to everyone. Competition - who will tie the most knots while another pirate song is playing.

Puzzles

unraveled puzzles found on the internet:

He is the worst villain.
They scare all the children
Carries a gun and a knife.
He commits robbery.
He is either poor or rich.
And always looking for treasure.
Answer quickly
Who is this…..!

(Pirate)

A giant swims across the ocean
And he releases a fountain.

(Whale)

I grew up in the forest
in silent silence
Now I carry you
on the blue wave.

(Pine)

She lives in the water, there is no beak, but she pecks.

(Fish)

In calm weather, we are nowhere.
And the wind blows - we run on the water.

(Waves)

If it lies at the bottom, the ship will not run far.

(Anchor)

The giant stands in the port, illuminating the darkness,
And signals to the ships: come visit us!

(Lighthouse)

Both in the taiga and in the ocean
He will find any way
fits in your pocket
and leads us along.

(Compass)

If suddenly on the high seas
Or at the seaport
You will see this flag
Expect the pirates on board soon.
The name of the flag sows terror,
Promising attack.
Who dares to call him
Promising attack?
("Jolly Roger")

This is a valuable document
With him you will find the treasure at the moment
But you go to the treasure
And find him.
(Treasure map)

In the sea it is open spaces,
And on the map - as if not, -
Hidden from prying eyes
And one keeps a secret:
Among the palm trees, in the hot sands,
So many years ago
Of real pirates
Someone buried a treasure there.
(Treasure Island)

Not an accessory, not a trophy, -
If you saw him, you would have guessed -
His master in the fight among the seas
Fought desperately for his life

And he was wounded, but did not lose heart,
Although the injury is forced to hide
He is on his face. So let those who know
Will be able to name this thing to us.
(Black eye patch)

Hints

The hint found says:

« Search on a desert island«.

From the last competition, the children guessed what kind of uninhabited islands. Another clue was hidden in one of the balloons.

She said:

“Do you want the key to the chest? We will give it to you only for 4 skulls of our old rogues who gave up the ends. Find them or go to Dave Jones yourself!”

I had to spend archaeological excavations:

For 4 skulls received a new task:

"Do you want a card? And where is the south, east, north, west - you know? Look for the compass, newbies!”

Searches in the room. There were a lot of notes scattered around, but most of them were teasing:

  • All hands on deck! Polundra! Aboard!
  • You smell like an old dog! Search better!
  • There is no key here!
  • Fellowship with the sea devil!
  • So you'll all be broke!
  • Search, search! Otherwise, you will hang out like ticks in the wind!
  • You can shoot from all the guns, but there is no treasure here!
  • Drop anchor, you won't find anything!
  • Caramba! Throw out the white flag!
  • Well, so be it! Today I'm like a cook on the distribution! Get your card!

The last, of course, the pirates hid in the farthest corner ...

Well, finally, card bottle:

Map, compass and key found, the rest is a matter of technology. You need to expand the map according to the compass and find the chest. On the map, they sketched in advance a plan of the apartment and a route with arrows, in which direction how many steps to the chest.

The key to the lock on the chest came up:

And here is our treasure:

Hooray! And, of course, given to all participants Honorary Diplomas:

The quest at home was a success, the guests liked it.

Selection of suitable landmarks on the ground and mapping

Choose a place to search for treasure. You can organize a treasure hunt from the basement of your private house to its main floor, or use the bushes and trees in your garden as landmarks marked on the map. Treasure hunting can be done both at home and on the street, depending on the space you need and the current season.

    • It is better not to hide the treasure in public places, since you cannot be completely sure that someone else will not find it.
  1. Complete four or five home landmarks with appropriate four or five pirate pictures. If you decide to arrange a treasure hunt at home, you can use a sofa, a lamp, a microwave, a refrigerator as landmarks and select the appropriate pictures for them. For outdoor treasure hunting, you can make a large tree, a trampoline, a swing, a rose bush and a large stone as landmarks. Then you will need to think about how to creatively label these items on the map. For example, a bathtub can be made a “Waterfall of Destiny”, and a large outdoor stone can be made a “Skull Island”. Below are other fun examples:

  2. Draw a large island on the map, leaving some free space around the edges. Create an undulating coastline with several prominent ridges. Use a blue marker or pencil to paint over the area around the island to represent the ocean.

    • You can also always create a few additional mini-islands to represent different rooms or areas of the house. For example, you can make one island for home treasure hunting and one island for outdoor treasure hunting.
  3. Draw a compass in the corner of the map. You may not be using a compass to give direction, but showing it on your map will make it look more realistic. The image can be quite simple, for example, a cross with the cardinal directions (“N”, “S”, “W” and “E”) or you can draw a full-fledged wind rose with a compass.

    • If possible, correctly orient the compass on the map to the cardinal points so that children can use this device while searching for hidden treasures! Most smartphones now have a built-in compass so you can check directions to certain landmarks.
  4. Put landmarks on the map and label them. Grab your markers or pencils and let your creativity run wild! In addition to the previously selected landmarks, images of palm trees, parrots, coves and sand can be added to the map. Depending on the age of the children who will be hunting for treasure, you can sign the landmarks with their veiled pirate names and indicate clues that will help you find the appropriate place in your house, for example, for the “Waterfall of Doom” sign below in small letters that it is “there, where people swim.

    • You can also take interesting ideas from pirate movies and incorporate fun details from there into your map.

The Encrypted Treasure Map is not only a game that brings a lot of happiness to boys, but also an occasion for the realization of creativity. I understood this when at school they asked me to prepare some kind of encrypted text on a poster for the “Best Coder” competition. I approached this lesson responsibly, and what came out of this venture - see for yourself.

Usually we do all school crafts with our son together. But this time we had a lot of crafts for the school that needed to be prepared in 2 days. We distributed tasks among ourselves, and I had to encrypt the information. But this is even better, since the son at the break could decipher not only other posters, but also this one - he was interested.

I want to tell you right away why I chose the treasure map. It seemed to me that ordinary puzzles and similar ciphertexts for children in grades 1-4 would be too boring. A treasure map with ciphered names of continents, islands, oceans and mountains, deserts and lakes is something that will interest children more than plain ciphertext.

I imagined myself small and imagined a wall with posters, ciphers and puzzles. A treasure map would definitely grab my attention. Especially if it was almost like the real thing. I think if you make such a card for your children (just because, and not for a competition), then they will have fun and be able to develop their logical abilities.

To make a treasure map you need:
- thick paper
- colour pencils
- red marker
- scissors
- stickers or pictures on a pirate theme
- glue
- matches

To make the map look as real as possible, I set fire to thick paper on all sides and extinguished it as soon as the edges took on the desired shape of the burnt map.

On a separate sheet, I printed out a note about the cipher with which I decided to encrypt everything that was on the card.

For the map, I encrypted the legend of the pirate treasure. This is how it looked when finished. I printed it on a separate sheet of paper and cut it out (as randomly as possible).

On the Internet I found pictures on a pirate theme. I cut them out so that I can stick them in the right places later.

I glued an encrypted legend and a plate with a decoder to the map. Where there was free space, I drew continents and islands.

Using a knife, I rubbed the lead of a soft simple pencil.

Rubbed the pencil with a piece of paper. I painted some places (lakes, deserts, etc.) with colored pencils.

I distributed the pirate-themed pictures on the map and glued them with a glue stick.

With a red felt-tip pen, I drew the line of the ship's path to the treasure island.

She signed the encrypted names of mountains, lakes, oceans, islands. In general, there are fantasies where to roam =)

I hope you like the idea of making your own treasure map.

It is far from always necessary to buy a new toy for a child in order to attract his attention. Sometimes it's worth showing a little imagination and making a little effort to come up with an interesting game that can interest the most fastidious guys. One of these undertakings can be a treasure hunt on a treasure map. Such entertainment can be occupied for a long time not only by one adventurer, but also by a large friendly company of treasure hunters. How to draw a treasure map in several ways, and will be discussed in today's article.

Required accessories

In order to draw a believable treasure map, you will need to stock up on some important items, these are:

  • album sheet;
  • colored pencils or markers;
  • lighter or matches;
  • rope or thick thread;
  • "hidden treasures".

All items should be discussed in order.

Lighter, rope and pencils

So, the landscape sheet is the future map. Its size depends on the preferences, imagination and desires of the painter. By the way, he will also decide how to draw a treasure map and where to hide the treasure on the diagram. Colored pencils, which can be replaced with felt-tip pens, markers or paints (depending on what the child likes to use the most), will help to give the creation a unique color. A lighter or matches can artificially age the landscape sheet: burnt spots will add mystery to the masterpiece. Well, a rope or a thick thread will be needed so that when folding the finished card into a roll, you can tie it and fasten it. Of course, the most important thing is the treasures that will be hidden. These can be any edible goodies, candies, or favorite treats of the particular child for whom the map is being drawn up. You can use small toys or a set of stickers. In principle, any little thing that comes to hand is suitable for this. All these attributes will bring the resulting masterpiece almost to the ideal.

How to draw a treasure map with your own hands: a few easy ways

The first way is for the parent.

To begin with, it is worth deciding on the place where the long-awaited reward will be waiting for the "treasure hunters". A package of delicious cookies, fruit or any other treat is quite suitable for her. Having discovered the hidden, the kids will not only rejoice, but also have a bite to eat with pleasure. Once the location is chosen, you can get down to business. Since drawing a treasure map for children is quite simple, even someone who has not picked up a pencil for a long time will cope with this task.

Stages

How we will draw the map:

  1. If the treat is hidden in an apartment or house, you should start the route from the farthest point and lead the children to success as confusingly as possible. The more difficult the trail, the more interesting it is to look for the treasure.
  2. Place significant objects located in the apartment on the map. If creativity cannot be boasted at all, these items can simply be signed.
  3. Aged the card by burning the edges with matches or a lighter. For greater credibility, you can burn a hole in the center.
  4. Roll the resulting masterpiece into a roll, tie it with a rope and throw it to the child. The result will not be long in coming. Children's thirst for adventure will involve you in the game with lightning speed.

The second way involves co-creation.

This option is suitable for an upcoming children's party, for example, if the child has a birthday party with invited guests. It is worth doing everything the same as in the first method, only to give free rein to children's imagination. Let the kid develop his own unique route leading to the goal, and decorate the drawing at his discretion. Explain to the child that the success or failure of the treasure hunt will depend on how to draw a treasure map: the more accurately you indicate the route and indicate important details, the easier it will be to move towards the goal.

Play and creativity are integral parts of children's development, and if they can be combined, backed up with delicious treats and gifts, then this is a huge boon for the younger generation.
