Space has been attracting people with its obscurity since ancient times.
And when people were just beginning to recognize the Earth, they imagined it as an inverted bowl, which rests on three giant elephants, standing importantly on the shell of a huge turtle. This wonderful turtle swims in the sea-ocean, and the whole world is covered with a crystal dome of the sky with many sparkling stars.
Several thousand years have passed since then. Many generations of kind and intelligent people have grown up on our Earth. They built ships and, having traveled around the world, they learned that the Earth is a sphere. And astronomers have proven that the Earth flies in space, revolving around the Sun, making one revolution around its axis per year.
Having heard the message about the flight of the first cosmonaut of the Earth, Yuri Gagarin, the world froze. The finest hour of mankind, which came from dreams and legends, has come!
Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin paved the way to the stars. He was the first, which is why he is called the pioneer of space. The flight of test pilot Yuri Gagarin into space took place on April 12, 1961.

Competitors are invited to collect from individual letters the name of the first cosmonaut. (GAGARIN).

Teams are given umbrellas and raincoats. On a signal, the participant puts on a raincoat and runs under an umbrella to the restrictive cone and back, etc.

The participant runs to the chair where the container with sand is located, takes part of the sand with a plastic mug and returns back, pouring out the sand; passes the mug to the next participant.

The 1st participant with a tray in his hand, on which there is a plate of pies, reaches the cone and returns.

10th relay race "Weightlessness"
Each participant knocks out a balloon with a badminton racket.
I wrote about earthly flowers,

August 27, 2016 an author's song sounded in Star City and an unusual spiritual atmosphere reigned. It seemed that the weather itself froze, listening to songs about the stars, aviation and astronautics, and only gently whispered with birch leaves.
At noon, a column of festival participants headed from the House of Cosmonauts along the alley of cosmonauts to the monument to Yu.A. Representatives of the secondary school named after V.M. Komarov of Star City and the Energia team of the Museum of the History of Cosmonautics, secondary school No. 18 in Krasnogorsk, laid flowers at the monument.
Then everyone went to the picturesque area behind the House of Cosmonauts, colorfully decorated by its employees, where the main events of the festival took place. At 13.30 on the improvised stage, the participants were welcomed by the guests and the competitive audition began. Alla Surich, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, choreographer of the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Aerospace Forces of Russia, performed in front of the audience with the song "THIS HAPPINESS TO PARTIATE WITH THE SKY" based on the verses of the legendary pilot Marina Lavrentyevna Popovich.
After the presentation of the jury members, the competitive audition began. Jury members - Reznik Leonid Yakovlevich - singer-songwriter, director of the Children's Art School named after Yu. , Spanish Director of the Organizing Committee

After summing up the results of the competition and a break for lunch, the awards ceremony and Gala concert of the laureates, jury members and guests of the festival took place. The concert continued until dark and ended with the song "I believe my friends. And, of course, all airmen received 
flowers, gifts, applause and respect from all participants of the festival.
As part of the festival-competition "Meet the Stars" -2016, the Star City Battles LASERTAG laser tag tournament was also held. 4 teams participated - two each from the secondary school named after V.M. Komarov, Star City and secondary school No. 18, Krasnogorsk. Gold and silver from Krasnogorsk!
Aircraft Modeling Club of the Youth Center "Wings" Monino, represented by its leader Valery Alekseevich Soletskikh, who presented aircraft models, became a bright and informative area of the festival.

- Contest "Towards the Stars"is held among students of group 01-1 of the OE GBPOU of Moscow "Technological College No. 34" within the framework of the studied discipline "Technology of publication of digital multimedia information".
- The competition runs from January 13 to February 5, 2016.
