The picture tells about the best friends Vova (Ilya Malanin) and Kise (Danila Kozlovsky), who work for a crime boss. They deal with competitors, knock money out of debtors and spy on the boss's girlfriend on his behalf. Vova's decision to leave crime endangers not only his friendship with Kisa, but also his own life.

The release of the film "On the District" in wide release is scheduled for autumn. In an interview with Cosmo, Olga admitted that she was not worried about possible criticism of her film: “I made the movie that I wanted, and I don’t feel the desire to check with someone else’s single opinion.”
