Excerpt characterizing BTOB

Pierre, at the sight of the punished Frenchman and the crowd surrounding Lobnoye Mesto, decided so completely that he could no longer stay in Moscow and was going to the army today that it seemed to him that he either told the coachman about it, or that the coachman himself should have known this. .
Arriving home, Pierre gave an order to his coachman Yevstafyevich, who knew everything, knew everything, known throughout Moscow, that he was going to Mozhaisk at night to the army and that his riding horses were sent there. All this could not be done on the same day, and therefore, according to Yevstafyevich's idea, Pierre had to postpone his departure until another day in order to give time for the set-ups to leave for the road.
On the 24th it cleared up after bad weather, and on that day after dinner Pierre left Moscow. At night, changing horses in Perkhushkovo, Pierre learned that there had been a big battle that evening. It was said that here, in Perkhushkovo, the ground trembled from the shots. To Pierre's questions about who won, no one could give him an answer. (It was a battle on the 24th at Shevardin.) At dawn, Pierre drove up to Mozhaisk.
All the houses of Mozhaisk were occupied by the troops, and at the inn, where Pierre was met by his coachman and coachman, there was no room in the upper rooms: everything was full of officers.
In Mozhaisk and beyond Mozhaisk, troops stood and marched everywhere. Cossacks, foot soldiers, mounted soldiers, wagons, boxes, cannons could be seen from all sides. Pierre was in a hurry to go ahead as soon as possible, and the further he drove away from Moscow and the deeper he plunged into this sea of \u200b\u200btroops, the more he was seized by the anxiety of restlessness and a new joyful feeling that he had not yet experienced. It was a feeling similar to the one he experienced in the Sloboda Palace during the arrival of the sovereign - a feeling of the need to do something and sacrifice something. He now experienced a pleasant feeling of consciousness that everything that makes up the happiness of people, the conveniences of life, wealth, even life itself, is nonsense, which is pleasant to cast aside in comparison with something ... With what, Pierre could not give himself an account, and indeed he tried to make clear to himself for whom and for what he finds a special charm to sacrifice everything. He was not interested in what he wanted to sacrifice for, but the very sacrifice constituted for him a new joyful feeling.

On the 24th there was a battle at the Shevardinsky redoubt, on the 25th not a single shot was fired from either side, on the 26th the Battle of Borodino took place.
Why and how were the battles at Shevardin and Borodino given and accepted? Why was the Battle of Borodino given? Neither for the French nor for the Russians it made the slightest sense. The immediate result was and should have been - for the Russians, that we approached the death of Moscow (which we feared most in the world), and for the French, that they approached the death of the entire army (which they also feared most of all in the world) . This result was obvious at the same time, but meanwhile Napoleon gave, and Kutuzov accepted this battle.
If the commanders were guided by reasonable reasons, it seemed, as it should have been clear to Napoleon, that, having gone two thousand miles and accepted the battle with the probable accident of losing a quarter of the army, he was going to certain death; and it should have seemed just as clear to Kutuzov that, accepting the battle and also risking losing a quarter of the army, he was probably losing Moscow. For Kutuzov, this was mathematically clear, as clear as it is that if I have less than one checker in checkers and I change, I will probably lose and therefore should not change.
When the opponent has sixteen checkers, and I have fourteen, then I am only one-eighth weaker than him; and when I exchange thirteen checkers, he will be three times stronger than me.
Before the battle of Borodino, our forces were approximately in relation to the French as five to six, and after the battle as one to two, that is, before the battle one hundred thousand; a hundred and twenty, and after the battle fifty to a hundred. And at the same time, the smart and experienced Kutuzov accepted the battle. Napoleon, the brilliant commander, as he is called, gave battle, losing a quarter of the army and stretching his line even more. If it is said that by occupying Moscow he thought he would end the campaign by occupying Vienna, then there is much evidence against this. The historians of Napoleon themselves say that even from Smolensk he wanted to stop, knew the danger of his extended position, knew that the occupation of Moscow would not be the end of the campaign, because from Smolensk he saw in what position the Russian cities were left to him, and did not receive a single answer to their repeated statements about their desire to negotiate.

In every K-pop group, there is a distribution of certain roles, on which a lot depends for the members. There is a standard set of positions that are in almost any group. And below we describe them.

1. Leader

Most, but not all, K-pop groups have a leader who is either appointed by the agency itself or chosen by the group members. The leader is usually, but not always, the oldest member or the most experienced. Alternatively, the leader can be chosen, by age, being in the middle of all participants. For example, the leader BIGBANGg-dragon is exactly in the middle in age in his group of 5 people. He also spent 11 years as a trainee.

Regardless of their age or learning experience, leaders need to be mature, responsible and charismatic as they are tasked with caring for and representing other participants. Leaders also act as mediators when conflict or dispute arises within the group. Leader btsRM demonstrates all these leadership qualities, and he also takes on the role of interpreter for his group.

BLACKPINK is one example of a group that does not have an official leader.

2. Lead vocalist

Depending on the number of members in the group, there may be several lead vocalists. jeongyeon And Nayeon are the lead vocalists in TWICE.

IN EXO xiumin performs as lead vocalist, lead dancer and rapper.

The term "lead vocalist" can be confusing because it's not the same as "lead singer" in Western bands. The lead vocalist is actually secondary to the main vocalist, but takes vocal lead in songs, singing in front of the main vocalist(s) during the chorus. They may also perform the chorus to support the main vocalist(s), especially during vibrato. The only thing that sets them apart is the ability to reach at least a higher or lower octave than the other vocalists in the group. The lead vocalists can also replace the main vocalist in case of illness or injury.

3. Main vocalist

Within a group, there may be one or more main vocalists, depending on the size and needs of the group. Taeyong is the main vocalist in her band girls generation.

The main vocalist usually receives most of the parts in a song, especially the most difficult ones due to their wide and steady vocal range. They often support the lead vocalist during the chorus, and are also more likely to receive lead vocals. At Wanna One there are two main vocalists: ha sungwoon And Kim Jehwan.

4. Sub-vocalist

Yeri- sub vocalist Red Velvet, rapper and maknae.
Sub vocalist, also known as the vocalist, supports the main and lead vocalists. Their vocals can only be heard for a few seconds on each song, but they help give the song a more complete sound by creating an additional bond between the main and lead vocalists.

5. Leading rapper

Daisy, lead rapper MOMOLAND.

The role of rappers is similar to that of vocalists; there are lead rappers, main rappers, and sub rappers, but the line distribution can become interchangeable for rappers in groups that only have main and sub rappers rather than lead, main, and sub rappers.

dino, lead rapper SEVENTEEN.
Like the lead vocalist, the lead rapper follows the lead, not necessarily in terms of skill, but in terms of the number of lines they get in a song. In groups that have all three types of rappers, the lead rappers usually only have one verse per song, and often rap along with the main rapper in other parts.

6. Main rapper

It is believed that mainstream rappers such as Bobby from the group iKON, have the best rapping technique and rap prowess in their group (but this only counts). Like the main vocalists, the main rappers get the lion's share of the parts in the songs, and they often get more than one verse, depending of course on the structure of the song.

7. Sub-rapper

Like the sub vocalist, the sub rapper gets fewer lines per song, but their main role is to support the mainstream rappers and lead rappers. jungkook from bts occupies several positions in his group, including a sub-rapper.

8. Lead dancer

Lead dancer such as Key from SHINee, leads the group's choreography by dancing at the front of the group during group performances. The lead dancers are highly trained professionals but follow the lead dancer, usually with multiple vocal lines.

9. Main dancer

fox- main dancer BLACKPINK.
The main dancer is expected to have excellent dancing skills and tends to focus less on singing. They most often stand in a central position during performances, and this is how they get solo parts.

Kai is one of the main dancers EXO.
The main dancers sometimes take on the role of teachers and help other members during practice, and some may even take part in creating the group's choreography.

10. Group visual

Jae is the visual of the group Lovelyz.

Fans often wonder how agencies can nominate anyone as a visual when every member is incredibly handsome. Visuals are considered the most attractive members of the group and/or have an unusual/outstanding appearance that sets them apart from all other members. Visuals are not always the face of the group.

11. Group face

Taeyong- face of the group NCT.

The face of the group may be the visual, but they are most often the most popular members of the group. The group's face will be closer to the center in group photos, and they are often dressed in the brightest or flashiest outfits that make them stand out from the rest of the group. In the music video, they get most of the screen time.

12. Makne

Unlike other positions, this one is awarded based on age. Maknae is always the youngest member of the group and they are considered the "child" of the group. Some maknas have a reputation for being cute and shy compared to their elders, but this is not always the case. There are also "harmful maknae" such as Yugyeom from GOT7 who is known to be a playful "baby" and teases his hyungs, just like his friend jungkook from bts.
