The fifteen-year-old singer presented a song from this film at a song contest in Jurmala in 1986. Under the terms of the competition, due to her young age, she could not participate in the battle for the main prize, but she won the audience award. They began to recognize her on the streets of her native Tashkent, congratulated her, asked for autographs. And only the teachers at the school reacted negatively to the first success of the schoolgirl, fearing that the young talent would not bear the burden of the fallen fame. Nargiz failed to find a common language with the teachers, received the appropriate marks in the certificate.However, the girl was not at all upset, and while everyone was in a hurry to universities and institutes, she submitted documents to the circus variety school for the vocal department, seriously preparing to be the best in the profession. Studying was easy and free, Nargiz was preparing for a career as a singer. She actively performed at various venues, dyed her hair white, was unusually relaxed and free on stage, for which she received the nickname of the Uzbek Madonna. At the same time, she built a personal life. Unfortunately, the first marriage broke up quite quickly, Nargiz was left with a child in her arms. In 1995, the Zakirov family left their native Tashkent, leaving for the United States. 
It was not possible to conquer the American audience right away, I had to fully feel like strangers, foreigners in a new country. Among the places in which Nargiz had to work were a shop, a tattoo parlor, a video salon. The dream of a singer's career was realized through performances in restaurants; for herself and her fans, she recorded the album "Golden Cage" in 2001. The singer notes that the level of performers in American restaurants is much higher than in similar establishments in Russia. Well-known groups and performers often perform there. Nargiz herself tried to assemble a team, but for various reasons things did not go far, the singer decided on a solo career.

The second love of Nargiz was not long in coming. Yernur Kanaybekov, again a fairly well-known person, became the chosen one of the young woman. In particular, he took not the last place among the organizers and organizers of the "Voice of Asia" contest. Following his pregnant wife, he left for the United States. Unfortunately, the difficulties did not unite the family. On the contrary, each of the spouses had their own interests, Yernur had new women, the family came to a divorce. Later, the ex-husband died in a car accident.
The third husband of Nargiz was Philip Balzano, they have been together for 16 years. His family came to the US when he was just a child. Philip sings wonderfully, he is the owner of a unique voice, which Nargiz conquered at the first meeting. Children almost immediately began to call him dad, and the family idyll continues to this day.
Nargiz, in addition to being a loving wife, is also a mother of many children, she has three children. From the first marriage, the already quite adult daughter Sabina, she managed to make Nargiz a grandmother, the son of Auel, who at one time, together with his mother, had to experience great difficulties in adapting to a foreign country. The youngest daughter Leila is still a teenager.
Nargiz Zakirova was born in October 1970 in Tashkent, in a musical family. From an early age, the girl literally absorbed music, and this is not surprising: all members of the large Zakirov family were somehow related to music.
Nargiz simply had no other way but to connect his whole future life with music. Already at the age of four, the girl performed on stage for the first time, and since then she could no longer imagine her life without art.
Mother, a popular pop singer and actress, often took Nargiz to her concerts and performances. However, a busy interesting life led to the fact that the girl was extremely reluctant to go to school. After a while, she was transferred to a music school, but even there the obstinate Nargiz also did not like everything: she sought to develop her vocal abilities, and not memorize texts and notes.
Musical career
As a 15-year-old teenager, Nargiz Zakirova took part in the Jurmala-86 musical talent competition, where she captivated everyone with her performance so much that she received the audience award. The first serious success inspired the young performer, and she began to work on herself with even greater enthusiasm.
After graduating from school, Nargiz Zakirova entered the circus school at the faculty of vocals, and began to actively tour with the orchestra of Anatoly Batkhin. However, unbridled energy and creative ambitions haunted Nargiz, who passionately wanted to be bright and memorable on stage.
During this period, she experimented with might and main: she performed in extravagant outfits, took male ballet as backup dancers, changed her image, tried to perform rock. Such experiments in the Soviet Union were unacceptable, and such behavior by Nargiz often caused condemnation and criticism.
Life in America
In 1995, Nargiz decided to immigrate to America. By that time, she was already divorced and had a five-year-old daughter from her first marriage. At first, life in another country was not easy at all. Nargiz was forced to work from morning until late at night in a video rental salon, earning mere pennies.
The situation improved when Nargiz Zakirova managed to get a job as a singer in a prestigious restaurant. In 2001, she recorded a solo album "Golden Cage", in which the musical compositions were recorded in the ethno style. Unexpectedly for the singer herself, her work was in demand, and the album was sold in large numbers.
Nargiz Zakirova repeatedly tried to create a group, but each time the result was deplorable. After several attempts, Zakirova made the final decision to act as a soloist.
Show "Voice-2"
With her incredible performance at the music show, Nargiz Zakirova really blew up the audience in the hall and the audience of the show on Channel One. Excellent vocal abilities, combined with strong energy and an eccentric appearance, could not leave anyone indifferent.

Nargiz, in April you will perform in Kirov. What kind of repertoire will please the people of Kirov?
The program will include my original compositions and, of course, compositions by Led Zeppelin and Metallica. Also, fans will definitely hear the songs that I performed in the Voice project.
Will you come to Kirov for the first time?
First. I have never been to Kirov. Unfortunately, I don't know anything about your city. But acquaintance ahead.
You have lived in America for a long time. Is the Russian audience different from the American one?
Not the same word as different! Although it is made from the same material. In America, everything is much easier and simpler. And the Russians are more conservative. The first time I arrived in Russia, I saw angry people. But then they began to welcome me here with open arms and treat me with the greatest soul.
Have you moved to Russia now?
Yes, you can say that I live here. I have a lot of work in Russia. And in America it is possible to get out only in order to see their relatives.
How often do you see your family?
Very rarely. Recently I was in America, where I spent ten days with my family.

Nargiz, how do you keep in touch with children?
We communicate with them every day. Of course, they miss, but what can you do. Now my time has come. We agreed that the children would visit me in Russia.
Is it hard to be a mother of three children?
It's not hard anymore! It was hard when they were very young. And now they are quite independent, so I don’t worry about them at all. I know one thing, that they are very strong on my feet. I fulfilled my mission as a mother by giving birth and raising three children. Now I can safely leave them alone and not worry about it. My children are very independent and wise.
What are your children doing?
My eldest daughter Sabina studies philosophy. Son Auel is an actor, plays in the theater. He entered the directing department. He has talent. And the youngest Leila is 14 years old. She studies at school. Layla has not yet decided what she wants to do. But she has a lot of talent, believe me. 
Nargiz, I know that you were born in Tashkent. Why did you move to the States?
I have long had the feeling that I was born in America. You know what they say, born at the wrong time in the wrong place. It is in America that I feel like a full-fledged self-made. In America, it is easier to reveal oneself as a person, it is easier to reveal one's own creativity there. The Russian public is not quite accustomed to innovation. She does not accept sharp deviations from the usual, does not like experiments.
Nargiz, speaking of experiments, do you mean your appearance?

What prompted you to experiment with appearance?
This is what I wanted at some point. I did it consciously. I like it so. These are not just drawings. My appearance is the style of my life. This is just me.
How many tattoos do you have in total?
I never counted them. But believe me, quite a lot! (Laughs).
When was the first one made?
At 25 years old. I left Uzbekistan and came to New York. There I made the first and long-awaited tattoo on my arm. This is a sign that symbolizes love and freedom.
How do relatives feel about this?
Relatives understand me, so they are calm about my appearance. I never thought about whether others would like it or not.
Nargiz, when you moved to America, what did you do in the states?
I moved to America at the age of 25. In Uzbekistan, I was already a well-known performer. And in the USA I had to look for a job. I worked at the box office, in the video salon. I also gave birth to my son Auel, because I arrived in New York already pregnant.
I know that your husband is also a musician. How did you meet him?
This is a very interesting story. I accidentally got into one of the Russian restaurants where he sang. Hearing how Philip sings, I just fell in love with him at first sight. I fell in love with his voice. Philip captivated me. Then we got married, and Leila was born to us.

THREE HUSBANDS OF NARGIZ ZAKIROVA
For the first time, Nargiz married Ruslan Sharipov, a musician and member of the Uzbek group "Byte". The singer was 18 years old. Nargiz remembers with warmth about his first wife, despite the fact that they are no longer together. They broke up due to Ruslan's infidelity. However, the break in relations was not scandalous: quarreling with your soulmate, breaking dishes and suing is not in the nature of the artist.
“Something broke in my soul. We began to work separately. We traveled around with concerts, not seeing each other for several months, and when we met at home, there was no longer a feeling that a close and dear person was next to you. Then I decided that this marriage should no longer exist, and we parted, ”Nargiz recalled her first marriage.
From this marriage, Nargiz had a daughter, who was named Sabina. And in 1995, the Zakirov family moved to America, and this decision was not easy for them, because Nargiz was pregnant from her second husband Yernur Kanaybekov. The singer was madly in love with him. They met at the audition of the show "Voice of Asia".
At the moment when the Zakirovs decided to emigrate to the United States, Nargiz was a well-known performer in her homeland: she was called the “Uzbek Madonna” and was periodically condemned for defiant sexual outfits. The singer says that in this way she wanted to shock the audience, to challenge her. In America, everything had to start from scratch. I had to provide for myself and my family, so Zakirova had to work hard. She worked from 9 am to 9 pm in the lowest paid positions in restaurants, shops, pizzerias, tattoo parlors.
“America from the covers of glossy magazines is one thing, but from the inside it is completely different. Having given birth to a son, I suddenly wanted to go to work: in search of a place, I went from one door to another. No job bothered me. I wanted to live, enjoy what is happening, ”Nargiz says about his first years in the USA.
After some time, Nargiz, who worked from morning to evening, made her first acquaintances in the musical field. She began to be invited to perform in restaurants. First, in not very expensive, but then - in luxurious and "cool", as the artist recalled. Slowly, life began to improve.
However, in 1997, a tragedy occurred in the life of Zakirova: Yernur tragically died in a car accident. Little Aeul was only 2.5 years old. After the death of Yernur, Nargiz began a protracted depression. The singer Philippe Balzano, whom friends introduced her to, helped the woman cope with the difficult emotional state. The artists have a lot in common. In addition to their passion for music, they both emigrated to the United States in search of a better life. Balzano moved to the States from the island of Sicily.
Slowly, Nargiz began to recover from the terrible tragedy. Philip tried to support a talented and bright woman as best he could. He not only talked heart to heart with her for hours, but also studied music with Zakirova. They began an affair, and soon they got married.
“Phil is not only my husband - he is my friend, support, brother, lover. Phil is also my teacher! Thanks to him, I went through a unique school of rock vocals, ”said Nargiz about her third wife.

However, the trials that befell Nargiz did not kill her craving for music. She created various teams, tried to contact Russian producers, because she wanted to come to live in Russia. But representatives of show business made it clear to Nargiz that it was impossible to start a singer's career without money. However, Zakirova is not one of those people who gives up everything halfway. She wanted to seriously engage in singing, and did not give up trying to achieve her cherished dream.

“Nargiz has been singing Pugacheva’s songs for 8 months. Ask her, did she somehow thank Alla Borisovna? At least a bouquet of flowers... Pugacheva doesn't care. How many in her life there were such singers and singers. For me, Nargiz no longer exists, ”the offended stylist said in an interview.
At the end of 2015, another significant event happened in the life of Nargiz. The singer's daughter Sabina gave her a charming grandson, who was named the biblical name Noah. Childhood
Zakirova Nargiz Bulatovna was born on October 6, 1970 in Tashkent, which at that time was part of the Uzbek SSR. The girl's love for music was inherited - all members of the singer's family were to some extent connected with the world of music.
Shoista Saidova, grandmother Nargiz, was a soloist at the Tashkent Musical Theatre, grandfather Karim Zakirov had the honorary title of People's Artist of the Uzbek SSR and worked as an opera singer.
Luiza Karimovna, the mother of the singer, was a popular pop singer in the 1960s and 70s and sang in a duet with her brother, and her father, Pulat Sionovich, performed with the ensemble as a drummer.
Therefore, it is not surprising that from an early age the girl literally lived with music. Luiza Karimovna often took her daughter with her on tour, and at the age of 4, Nargiz first appeared on stage. Then the girl's mother played in one of the performances, for one episode it was necessary to find a girl for the role of a doll. As a result, the director gave the role of Nargiz.
Overwhelmed with impressions from an incredible touring life, the girl could not sit out the lessons in a comprehensive school, so she had poor academic performance. The girl's favorite subject was music, but Nargiz also received poor grades for it - the music teacher did not evaluate the vocal abilities of his students, but the banal knowledge of the lyrics.
In parallel with the secondary school, the parents sent the future star to a music school, but even there the girl was not interested - instead of developing her voice skills, Nargiz had to learn notes.
Carier start
At the age of 15, Nargiz first showed her singing talent to the general public. Then the girl participated in the popular singing competition "Jurmala-86", where she managed to get the audience award. The girl could not compete for prizes, because, according to the rules of the competition, participants who had reached the age of sixteen claimed prizes. At this competition, the girl performed the song "Remember Me" by Ilya Reznik to the music of her uncle Farukhkh Zakirov.
After graduating from school, Nargiz did not want to enter a higher educational institution. Instead, she became a soloist in Anatoly Bakhtin's orchestra. Together with the orchestra, the girl toured throughout the USSR.
However, very soon the girl was tired of working in the orchestra - she did not want to perform in a simple format, she wanted to make spectacular and vibrant performances. Therefore, performing on stage, the aspiring singer often surprised the audience at that time with strange antics: she performed in short shorts, dyed her hair blonde, tried to perform rock music, and took male dancers for backup.
At that time, the inhabitants of the Soviet Union considered this unacceptable, therefore, after Nargiz's performances, the public had mixed emotions, and the singer's colleagues did not approve of such experiments. As the singer herself says, she was called the Uzbek Madonna, but at the same time she was criticized and condemned.
Migration to the USA
Faced with a lack of understanding from viewers and colleagues, Nargiz decides to migrate with his family to America. In 1995, she packs up and flies to New York.
As the singer herself says, the first time in the big city was not easy. Nargiz managed to visit a saleswoman in a store and a video store, a waitress in a pizzeria, and even worked in a tattoo parlor, in which she filled most of her tattoos.
Gradually, Nargiz made useful contacts, and one of the new acquaintances suggested that the girl work as a singer in an American restaurant. The girl willingly accepted the tempting offer.
Later, Nargiz said that performances in an American restaurant are significantly superior in level to performances in Russia. Gradually, the singer gets acquainted with professional musicians and collects money for her debut album.
In 2001, Nargiz recorded her debut ethno album Golden Cage, released by Sweet Rains Records. In the states, the album became quite popular, dispersing in large numbers in a short time.
Nargiz also tried several times to create a group. But after the failure of several groups, Zakirova decided to perform on her own.
Return to Russia and participation in the show "Voice"
In America, the singer often thought about moving to Russia. But, according to the girl, she was stopped by the fact that in Russia it is not enough to have a good voice. The key role, as she was given to understand, is played by financial investments in her career.
Nargiz wanted to take part in the first season of the Voice show. But then terrible news fell on the girl's family - her father fell ill with lung cancer. Attempts to save his father were in vain, and in 2013 Pulat Sionovich died.
Before participating in the second season of The Voice, the singer went through three qualifying stages of the American X-factor contest. Before the start of the fourth stage, the organizers of the Russian "Voice" called the singer and offered to try to pass the casting.

Personal life
Nargiz was married three times. From her first husband, Ruslan Sharipov, the singer has a daughter, Sabina. At the time of migration to the States, the singer was married for the second time and was expecting a second child. The second spouse was Yernur Kanaibekov. Already in the USA, the couple had a son, who was named Auel.
In 1997, there was a terrible car accident, as a result of which Yernur died. Then Zakirova, under the influence of worries and problems that fell on her, began a protracted depression.
