Last Saturday, August 20, the third season of the country's largest dance show started on TNT. The geography of participants is impressive: representatives of more than 100 cities got to television castings. And not only Russia, but also the Baltic States, Europe, America and even New Zealand. In the “main dances of the country”, as Sergey Svetlakov calls the show, everyone will be able to find a countryman and cheer for him. The support of the audience is very important, because all the participants dream of hearing the cherished: “You are in Dances! A dancer from Vladivostok, Maxim Pavlov, specially came with his number to the first casting in Yekaterinburg and became a participant in the show.
- With what number did you perform at the first selection of the show "Dancing"?
It was one of the directions of modern dance - modern jazz. We didn't directly argue with the judges, but it was clearly something new for the project! But everything seemed to be pleasant, and they gave me the go-ahead to pass. In Russia, for some reason, it’s simply customary: when you dance contemporary or modern, you need to dance slow dances. I wanted to show that modern dance can also be energetic. With strong energy, with good energy. So I tried, I guess, to get into it.
- Where did you dance in Vladivostok?

- What style of dance do you like?
Modern choreography, ranging from slow styles such as contemporary, modern jazz, to hip-hop and break.

- Did you have the opportunity to communicate with the participants of the show "Dances" of past seasons?
Yes, I talked with Ilshat Shabaev, a very wise man, very strong in spirit. I also managed to talk with Maxim Nesterovich. Also a person who can lend a hand when needed. Anya Tikhaya is an insanely sincere person, from whom a lot of warmth emanates, you want to communicate with her. Vitaliy Savchenko is an example for me. This is the person I looked up to on the project and in life. This is really an artist who can give others a fuse, a spark, an incentive to develop in order to be no worse. He is, of course, very cool. Katya Reshetnikova is an insanely cool girl as a choreographer. Low bow to her. Her attitude towards choreography is incomparable.
- To which of the jury of the show "Dances" would you go - to Miguel or Yegor Druzhinin?
To Svetlakov, of course! He is a great fellow, really the soul of the project. And so I like both Druzhinin and Miguel. I would be interested in both teams. Both there and there are professionals, choreographers of each team give a lot of experience, a lot of information, and it would be very interesting to work with them.

Over the weekend, the third season of a large-scale dance project started on TNT. Among the first participants was a native of Vladivostok, 20-year-old Maxim Pavlov. He presented a jazz-modern performance to the jury, but it seemed to the judges that it was more like a fusion.
The participant said that he has been dancing since childhood and devoted 15 years to gymnastics. However, then he decided to focus on modern dance, because he realized that dancing was closer to his soul. Pavlov began to follow the TV project with his sister. Together they dreamed of getting on the show, but last year she passed away.
The performance itself, as the members of the jury admitted, they did not like it. However, despite this, they gave the Primorye a chance. “In your person, it seems to me, we give hope to all people who really want to dance, but in the common sense of the word do not correspond to the image of a dancer. You have a very broad build, but I would like to give you a chance. You are in "Dancing", - one of the choreographers of the project, Yegor Druzhinin, delivered a verdict.

Maxim Pavlov. Biography
Maxim Pavlov was born on June 24, 1996 in Vladivostok. He has been dancing since childhood: break, folk stylization, hip-hop. He devoted 15 years to gymnastics, but realized that dancing was closer to his soul. Maxim graduated from school in St. Petersburg and entered St. Petersburg Humanitarian University of Trade Unions ( SPbGUP ). Before performing at the casting for the DANCE project, Maxim Pavlov said that he watched the first season of the show with his sister. They dreamed that they would perform together on the show, but in 2015 Maxim's sister passed away. According to the young man, this is one of the main reasons why he decided to participate in the project.
At the casting for the third season of the show "DANCES" on TNT, which took place in Yekaterinburg, Maxim showed a number in the style of modern jazz. Mentors Miguel and Yegor Druzhinin, however, at first noticed that they were hearing about such a direction for the first time (there is modern jazz). However, the dancer showed a certain mix of styles and decent plasticity, and the mentors determined that he was dancing in the fusion style.
Druzhinin did not like the number, but he said that in the person of Maxim, he gives hope to all those who want to dance, but do not match the image of a dancer. Pavlov has a wide bone, a dense complexion, but at the same time he is a dancing person.
