At that time, no one could have imagined how popular Nevermind would become with the lead single "Smells Like Teen Spirit". The idea for the song came to Kurt when his girlfriend, who was terribly fed up with the smell of his girlfriend's deodorant, wrote "Kurt smells like teen spirit" on the wall of his house. He had no idea what she meant, so he took the phrase as a cult one. The song became the most famous grunge composition, brought fame and crowds of fans to its author, whom journalists called "the voice of generation X".
2. AC/DC - Highway to Hell
Once Angus was asked about touring life, to which he replied: "This is the road to hell." The name "Highway to Hell" gave rise to numerous rumors and gossip about the meaning of the song. Accusations of Satanism have been thrown at the band, based on a few lines of text and a photo of Angus Young on the album cover, which depicts him with a tail and horns. AC/DC members strongly disagreed with this interpretation, and Malcolm Young even stated: "My mother would have killed me for this!". The self-titled album was the last work of the band, recorded with the participation of Bonn Scott.
