Biography
PLC started his career in 2003 as a beatmaker and MC in the rap group Almanac, under the pseudonym Crush. The group released several songs on the Internet, some of them appeared on various compilations. The most famous was the compilation "Krasnodar-One", released by the Karavan Music label on October 25, 2004. By the second half of 2005, the Almanac group ceased to exist. Crush decided to go solo and took on a new alias, playaCritical. This marked the transition to a new stage in his musical career.
In 2005, he reached the final of the Krasnodar rap battle K-one Battle.
Over time, more and more solo songs from playaCritical began to appear, which led to his more frequent appearance at various venues in Krasnodar and the region. At the end of 2007, The Keys project was formed, which became the first hip-hop project with fully live music in Krasnodar.
Participated in many online battles, including: Hip-Hop.ru, InDaBattle, etc. In 2008, he took 1st place in the team battle on hip-hop.ru as part of the TRU team, which also included: Mr. Hyde, Galaxies, Kreat and Nady.

The album was marked by a positive assessment and review from rap.ru, the largest rap portal in the country at that time.
In the same 2012, PLC, together with Hyde and the BIG MUSIC team, founded the battle rap project SLOVO - the first offline battle of this format in Russia.
In 2013, PLC launched an annual cipher / long mix, "ZIMA", which brings together the strongest ms from the south of Russia. At the moment, 4 ciphers have been released.
From 2012 to 2016 he is actively involved in the SLOVO project. During this period, the project has become widespread throughout Russia, 10 branches have been opened, including in Ukraine, Belarus, and Kazakhstan.
In 2016, Hyde and PLC leave the SLOVO project.
After leaving the project, PLC focuses all his efforts on solo work and in 2017 releases his second solo album - Voskhod. Among the guests on the release you can hear: Sasha Chest, Rozhden, Luna, Cvpellv and others.

It is difficult to name idols, there are people from whom I learn something and get inspired. I don't have a cult of personality, but if we talk about live music, then it's the blues of the 30s - Skip James, Son House, later - Muddy Waters. Jazz, soul 50-60s - Nina Simone, Ella Fitzgerald, Marvin Gaye, Bobby Womack. It's 60s-70s rock - Jim Morrison, Iggy Pop.
Which of your fellow artists do you truly admire?
In fact, there are a lot of them, but most of them are in the underground. Often even beginners - MLK+, for example. They make very high-quality, actual, from all points of view, music. My bro from Krasnodar is Cuban, I listen to his new material and it inspires me to do something new.
Who would you like/would like to have a battle with? Why? Who is your ideal opponent?
I would not want to have a battle with anyone for the sake of a battle. I have a creative history. I think that any track should have its own situation, its own background. Even more so for a battle. These are certain emotions. Someone perceives it as a sport, but in order to write something, I need to experience these emotions. Therefore, for me, this is only possible in the event of a real conflict. And I have no one to quarrel with.
