Paustovsky is known to every schoolchild with stories about nature. But it is worth starting to read an autobiography, as a completely different Paustovsky appears before us. His life is a fascinating story full of adventures, and all because he was destined to start his career before the revolution, survive it and gain recognition in the Soviet years.

On May 21, in library No. 41 (Putilovskaya street, building 13-a), a conversation “Forest Incidents” was held, dedicated to the anniversary of K. Paustovsky. The slide film “Literary map of the Paustovsky Country”, prepared by the library staff, was accompanied by an interesting story by the presenters.

During the Great Patriotic War, Konstantin Georgievich was a war correspondent. Many articles and stories were written by him about those years. One of the most magnificent stories is "Snow". But critics accused the author of sentimentality, untruthfulness, and a bad plot. They even blamed the twisted candles from the story ...

But here's what's interesting - the critics themselves wondered why the military stories of K. Paustovsky were so popular as never before. Read at least one of them...

You read the stories “Snow”, “Telegram”, Rainy Dawn”, and the excitement squeezes your throat, you become sad with that special sadness about which Pushkin said: “My sadness is bright.”

But few people know that K. Paustovsky is a man who was almost given the Nobel Prize. It turns out that in 1965, for the autobiographical "Tale of Life" K. Paustovsky planned to be awarded the Nobel Prize. But the Soviet Union managed to change the decision of the Nobel Committee and at the very last moment hand it over to Sholokhov. And in Italy and Sweden, a one-volume K. Paustovsky has already been published in the "Nobel" series.

In the Union, The Tale of Life was received coldly, and the author was presented with a long list of complaints. Maybe that's why the second book of the autobiographical series "Restless Youth" was written by the author only 9 years later. Six books were published in the cycle, Paustovsky wanted to extend the story, but death put an end to it. Konstantin Georgievich wanted to call the seventh book “Palms on the Ground”. Now, arriving in Tarusa, where the writer found his last refuge, we put our palms on his mound.

If you are not familiar or unfamiliar with the works of K. G. Paustovsky, read at least one of the stories. And then you won't quit...

After all, “the voice of conscience, faith in the future,” said Paustovsky, “do not allow a true writer to live on earth like an empty flower, and not convey with full generosity all the huge variety of thoughts and feelings that fill him.” And Konstantin Georgievich was and remains a true writer.

Konstantin Paustovsky:

"Waiting for happy days happens

sometimes much better than these days."

“I remember very well how in childhood, reading the stories of Konstantin Paustovsky “Hare Paws”, “Badger Nose”, I could not hold back my tears,” Elena Korkina, head librarian of the Pushkin Central Library, shares her memories. – Already now I understand that this is a kind of indicator of the author's skill. Children's emotions are the most truthful, because with an open heart, a child instantly recognizes falsehood. Years have passed, and now I enjoy reading these works to my son.

It is symbolic that 2017 was the year of the 125th anniversary of the famous author. Few people know, but Konstantin Georgievich is a man of a very difficult fate. I'll tell you a little about the family of the Russian classic. On May 31, 1892, a boy was born in the family of a railway employee and a sugar factory worker. The Paustovsky family repeatedly moved from place to place, eventually settling in Kyiv. The atmosphere in the family was creative: they sang a lot, played the piano, did not miss a single theatrical premiere. The first teachers of the writer were specialists from the Kyiv classical gymnasium. They instilled in him a desire to engage in literature.

When we complain about our lives, we often do not think about what hardships are destined for the lot of other people. For example, Konstantin Paustovsky had to grow up very early. When the boy was in the sixth grade, his parents divorced. Leaving school, the future writer took up tutoring.

Paustovsky wrote his first story while studying in the last grade of the gymnasium. After the gymnasium, Paustovsky studied for two years at Kiev University. In 1914, the writer moved to Moscow. This coincided with the start of the First World War. And here the writer did not choose the easy way - when forming the rear ambulance trains, Konstantin Paustovsky began working there as an orderly. Then, by his own admission, he fell in love with the middle zone of Russia with all his heart.

During the Great Patriotic War, Konstantin Georgievich was a war correspondent on the Southern Front, while continuing to write. Already in the post-war years, world fame came to Paustovsky, which gave him the opportunity to travel a lot around Europe. The writer was in Bulgaria, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Turkey, Italy, Belgium, France, Holland, England, Sweden, lived on the island of Capri. The impressions from these trips formed the basis of many of his works.

In the department of popular science literature of the Central Library. A.S. Pushkin for the anniversary of the writer framed book exhibition from the cycle "Singers of native nature". Tourists-amateurs came to the opening of the exhibition, as well as eminent personalities in the Ural tourist circles - Anatoly Nikolaevich Sychev and Olga Anatolyevna Charykova, known as the organizers of unique hiking routes through the protected areas of the Chelyabinsk region.

The atmosphere of the meeting was informal: they made plans for the upcoming trip along the paths of the Subpolar Urals. Anatoly Nikolaevich, a geologist by profession, explained in detail the rules of tourist travel, and we could only admire these selfless people. After all, outdoor activities require self-discipline, willpower and, of course, endurance.

On May 18, in the children's library No. 26, as part of the program to promote reading among preschoolers and primary schoolchildren "Magic Country, which is not on the map", a library lesson for preschoolers "A Poet in Prose" was held on the work of the Soviet Russian writer K. G. Paustovsky.

The children were introduced to the work of the classic of Russian literature Paustovsky Konstantin Georgievich. During the event, the children were introduced to his autobiography, interesting facts from life, the formation and beginning of his creative path. His children's works - novels and stories were presented.

Konstantin Georgievich Paustovsky is a classic of Russian literature. He was awarded the Order of Lenin and the Red Banner of Labor. He was a candidate for the Nobel Prize in Literature.

From the very beginning of his life, he was not afraid of difficulties. After graduating from the Kyiv gymnasium, he was forced to earn his own bread, and was engaged in tutoring. During the First World War, he lost 2 of his brothers, worked as an orderly and retreated with the Russian army in Poland. During the Great Patriotic War he was a war correspondent on the Southern Front. Being together with the soldiers on the first line of defense, he wrote stories. He worked in industrial plants. Traveled a lot in different countries. Having survived such a difficult life path, he “never signed a single letter or appeal stigmatizing anyone. He struggled to stay and so he remained himself.” He loved nature and wrote many works dedicated to the nature of Russia and his beloved "Meshchersky region".

His children's works "Hare Paws", "Steel Ring", "Warm Bread", "The Tale of the Forests", "Farewell to Summer" - immerse us in the magical world of nature and human relationships. The writer explains in an easy and accessible language that it depends only on us what kind of world we will live in. About the need to love and appreciate the surrounding nature. That only good deeds and deeds can make this world a better place, help a person remain a person. By giving good things into the world, you can get it back multiplied.

Purpose: To draw the attention of students to the work of K.G. Paustovsky.

Preparation for the lesson: children read and remember the stories and fairy tales of K. Paustovsky for the lesson. The class is divided into three teams.
