Back in 2007, I participated in the launch of the TV project "Battle of Psychics".
At that time, I pulled other projects, but now let's talk about "Psychics"
This is a format TV project. Original "Psychic Challenge"
What does it mean?
This means that companies like http://www.zodiakrights.com/ create programs
and then sell them to the whole world.
More precisely, they do not sell the programs themselves, but the rights to create a similar program but adapted to the local market.
Together with the rights they sell the so-called "Project Bible".
The project bible includes a description of the technological process, all kinds of recommendations and advice,
for the correct filming process, description of competitions, castings, graphic and audio design and much more.
In principle, the Bible is other people's mistakes on which you can and should learn.
Moreover, they paid money for these mistakes and it is not reasonable to fill their bumps.
But apparently it is not quite customary for us to learn from the mistakes of others :)
Therefore, the technological plan of filming prescribed in the bible, as well as the staffing table required for the project, were ignored.
When a consultant from the company that sold this format to the TV channel flew in to control the filming process
and compliance with the conditions of the format, she was very surprised.
She constantly repeated: this is not possible, this is not the way to work. She didn't understand how we could handle it.
In fact, the project was filmed very quickly.
Basically, everything was done not "for tomorrow" but "for yesterday".
The programming department has decided when the first program will be aired,
and no one cares that half of the staff is still missing, no script, and even sensible psychics have not been found.
There is a release date and everything needs to be in time for it. you are professionals :) 
There was also no money for filming. Since the budget of the entire program was not signed :)
And how to create a program budget if it is not known what will happen in 8 more programs?
The script was only for the first program.
So the night before the first shoot, I created the budget for the entire first season.
On the first day, a casting was filmed in Kyiv, there was no money yet, but it cannot be cancelled;
people bought tickets and came to the casting, pavilions, decorations, catering, special equipment and much more were ordered.
As a result, I took out my money and paid the necessary expenses from my own pocket, and only then I knocked these funds out of the accounting department, since I kept all the checks and contracts for reporting.
So you can say I was the first sponsor of the program :)
Now about castings.
We've all been looking for psychics. Real, not charlatans.
It seems that it is difficult?
They took the newspapers and rang through the ads, they were piled up in the newspapers.
But everything is much more complicated.
Since we need real psychics, not charlatans, we immediately warned all applicants about this.
Therefore, many immediately refused to participate.
Those who were ready to prove their exclusivity passed a series of tests.
For example: There is a photograph of a person in a dense sealed envelope. Preferably printed from film or Polaroid.
The applicant must feel the energy of this photo and tell everything that he feels about the person who is in the photo.
Such a simple test allowed to weed out the majority of MAGES AND WIZARDS. 
Now the most interesting.
I am often asked if real psychics participate in the program?
I answer. Don't know!
When we were selected, everyone was real, not dummy.
This also has a problem.
After all, real psychics are not bright characters, they look like ordinary people, and not like you are used to seeing them in the movies.
It's bad for the show. After all, the viewer wants spectacles, so that they beat tambourines, throw bones, roll their eyes, etc.
And in the frame are ordinary average residents.
I even had the idea to introduce a few dummy characters in the next seasons.
Find a colorful Shaman, a red-haired Witch, and some black man with Voodoo magic.
They will play 3-4 programs and then we will gradually bring them out at the jury meeting.
That is, real psychics with abilities will enter the final.
Perhaps in subsequent seasons they did so, or maybe they went even further. I do not know this. 
It was not easy for the program participants - psychics.
Understand the term "psychic" is like the term "athlete".
After all, an athlete cannot be an excellent weightlifter, gymnast and boxer at the same time. He specializes in one thing, perhaps in related disciplines.
So is the "psychic", he can do one thing perfectly, more or less the other, and he cannot do the rest.
They also have a narrow specialization.
We drove them through all possible and impossible competitions.
I even pulled them into the casino, then it was not forbidden.
I wanted to win money with them, but alas, no one, out of three attempts, predicted a single number correctly.
They said that they were forbidden to deal with money like that :)
I want to note that many of them are good psychologists, if they did not know the answer, they tried
calculate the correct answer, speak little by little and look at the reaction of others.
Plus, as I wrote earlier, we filmed a lot and tightly.
If according to the format, it takes 1 day for preparation, 1 day for shooting one competition, 1 day for rest and a new one.
Sometimes we filmed 2 or 3 competitions during a shift. And the next day, another shooting of 1-2 contests.
Very short production times. :(
So the film crew and psychics worked in difficult conditions.
Once we tried to help them. The competition consisted in the fact that a psychic with one girl walked along the corridor of the hotel and looked for which of the rooms was the twin sister of the girl.
So, in the room where the second girl was and the operator, the light was on so that you could immediately shoot the reaction.
And in the gap under this door, you could see that the light was on. There was no one in the rest of the rooms and the lights were off.
But psychics did not pay attention to this. They acted according to their own rules and almost no one found the twin girl.
And yet it was an amazing project and I'm glad that we did it despite all the intrigues and intrigues.
And a big thank you to all the psychics and film crew I've worked with.
Only the permanent presenter Pavel Kostitsin and cameramen moved from season to season,
but the creative team seems to have been squeezed out and replaced.
Therefore, I do not regret that in time (after the completion of the first season) I left this project.

This is exactly what they show us in the program “The Battle of Psychics”, which is on the TNT channel and is perhaps the most mysterious, popular of its kind and discussed on domestic television. Not for nothing (just think!) Filmed 16 seasons of the transfer.
Mysticism, psychology or extravagant PR?
It is difficult to imagine the possibility of the existence of a TV show that would not have its fans and "anti-fans".
Fans firmly believe in all the miracles that are shown to them on the screen, from the ability to accurately determine whose photo is in an envelope to the ability to search for people and objects, walk through walls, communicate with aliens ... (oh, something we got carried away) .
And the number of skeptics is simply off scale, but, as the situation with the incredible popularity of the program shows, such, albeit black, PR only plays into the hands of its creators and owners of the TNT channel.
We will not take one side or the other, but simply discuss a little with you.
There is an opinion that the so-called psychics buy answers to tasks from the film crew and other knowledgeable personalities, and the participants themselves talk about it in their blogs (not about their purchases, of course, you guessed it). And they even name the price, which is neither more nor less than twenty-three thousand Russian rubles per task, sometimes it is about thirty thousand.
Although Marat Basharov, the permanent host of the program for the past eight seasons, claims that it is the angry, failed to reach the finals participants that spread such gossip in order to justify their own defeat and cast a shadow on the hated show that did not allow them to become famous.
Marat also says that, unfortunately (!), no one offered him money and that the goal of the project is to identify people who really have superpowers, and you won’t get far with cunning and bribery alone. It is understandable, what kind of sane person would offer the leak of information to the host himself?
The program even specifically provides for the presence of skeptics who are trying with all their might to expose the participants. Such “non-believers” are the well-known illusionists Safronov Brothers (and who, if not they, know all the possible tricks and tricks that can have a bewitching effect on the public), as well as Mikhail Viktorovich Vinogradov, who specializes in studying the phenomenon of human paranormal abilities and is engaged in criminal psychiatry.
But even despite such an impressive arsenal of knowledge and experience of the opposition, psychics manage to surprise again and again with the manifestation of remarkable magical abilities. The most interesting thing is that often even the participants themselves are surprised by their own skills, as if mentally asking themselves: “What is this? Coincidence or dormant "superpowers"?

But how to check it? Is that to participate in the filming personally. But I absolutely would not want to appear on the screen. A funny thing happened not too long ago.
I have a good friend, we have been communicating for 10 years already. Once I went to her Vkontakte page and began to look at the photos in which she was tagged. And in one of the photos she was taken in the company of ... the winner of the Battle of Psychics on TNT! Moreover, the photo is not from filming or casting, but from some cafe, and they looked as if they had known each other for a long time. I won't give a name because it's not my story. Let me just say that this is a young man.
I was stunned. And, of course, I didn't believe it. I looked at the photo for a long time - I thought, maybe not him, but just very similar? I decided to ask a friend personally.
Me: Natasha, listen, what are you in this photo with (First Name Last Name)?
She: Well, yes.
I: !!! ??? !!! Come on!
She: What is it?
Me: It's the winner of the Battle of Psychics!
She started, excuse me, laughing at me))) She says: “Do you really believe in this? You're just like my mom!" I even felt embarrassed. It turned out that she and this person were engaged in the same group at personal growth trainings in St. Petersburg, and then they talked for a while. She often brought him home, as they lived nearby. Her opinion was categorical: he is not a psychic, but just a good psychologist, and the Battle of Psychics is a production.
If even before this story, a skeptic and a believer fought in me, then after it, skepticism increased. But I still watch the Battle of Psychics - simply because it's interesting.
And more about the intersections of the Battle of Psychics with my life. Either in the first or second season in one of the trials of the battle, a friend of my former colleague was filmed. This is a flight attendant who survived the crash of an IL-86 flying from Moscow to St. Petersburg in 2003. Filming just took place at the crash site. "Battle of Psychics" is a popular TV show that has been broadcast on TNT since 2007. To date, fourteen seasons of the program have been released, casting is underway for the fifteenth season. This article contains the whole truth about the "Battle of psychics".
Program Format
"Battle of Psychics" was created in the likeness of the British TV show. Also, similar programs are released in the USA, Israel, Australia and many countries of the former USSR.

In different seasons, the number of people on the final list turned out to be different. Minimum - eight participants, maximum - thirteen.
The issues themselves consist of several tests (two - three), according to the results of which the jury members choose the strongest and weakest psychics of the week. The latter leaves the project.

Many viewers are interested in the question, what is the "Battle of Psychics" - is it true or a staged show? Of course, doubts may arise, since some participants pass the tests brilliantly, answer all questions, as if they had memorized the answers, while others fail the tasks. So, for fourteen seasons, more than a hundred people took part in the "Battle of Psychics".
The first season was released in 2007. Nine people got the chance to prove themselves. Natalya Vorotnikova became the winner. The second and third seasons were filmed the same year. The number of participants was eight and ten, respectively. The second season was won by Zuliya Radjabova. The triumph of the third was Mehdi Ebrahimi-Vafa.
Three seasons also aired in 2008. Their winners were Tursuna Zakirova, Alexander Litvin. The seventh season in 2009 was won by Alexei Pokhabov.

Psychics are constantly attacked and accused of fraud. So, is the "Battle of Psychics" true or a staged show? Of course, like every television program, the "Battle" has a director and other specialists working on a "beautiful picture". But we must not forget that real people take part in the project, looking for solutions to real, not invented problems. They come and talk about their life tragedies and get help, and it's completely free.
Perhaps some psychics hold receptions after the project and take money for it. But this is their job, which should also be paid. And to address people with unusual and extraordinary abilities or not is the personal choice of each person.
In each issue of the "Battle of Psychics" it is mentioned that participation in the program is free. The presenter also warns inattentive citizens against the tricks of scammers. Several recent broadcasts were devoted to their exposure with the participation of real psychics, and people who suffered at the hands of intruders were able to get a free consultation.
Winners after the project
You can think a lot about what is the "Battle of psychics" - the truth or a staged show, but you should understand that real people took part in it, which you can easily run into on the street.
Some of the participants and winners went into the shadows and are no longer engaged in extrasensory perception, someone, on the contrary, after the program decided to seriously work with mysticism and witchcraft. Sergey Safronov, perhaps, can be considered the main skeptic of the project, and outside of it he also doubts psychics. In his diary, Valeks Buyak, a participant in the eighth battle, answered this question. He said that there is a certain system of information leaks on the show. The first one is unauthorized. Someone from the film crew on the phone (incognito) offers to buy information about the upcoming tests from him for money. But few of the psychics agree to this. Another form is sanctioned, when the organizers themselves can hint or ask a leading question. All this is necessary for greater persuasiveness, and a lot of money is spent on shooting, so good ratings are needed. Once, a test that did not submit to any participant was simply cut out of the air.

Famous radio host Katya Gordon is famous for her loud statements and scandals. So, she stated in her blog that she was going to sue the TNT channel for fraud. The whole truth about the "Battle of Psychics" project, in her opinion, is that only charlatans participate there. And the winner of the fifteenth battle cannot be a girl with paranormal abilities at all, since she worked as a hairdresser and personally dyed her hair, Katya Gordon.
The girl also said that she would pay a million rubles to someone who would demonstrate her psychic abilities in person. According to the Internet public, this is not at all an exposure of the project on TNT, but a way to promote itself through a popular TV show.
"Komsomolskaya Pravda" about the project
The journalists of "Komsomolskaya Pravda" on their pages exposed pseudo-psychics Daria Mironova, Natalia Nosacheva, Mikhail Filonenko. Their activities after the "Battle" caused discontent among people who turned to them for help. It turned out that receiving a lot of money for their reception, they do not help in any way, and sometimes even aggravate the situation.
It also became known that some psychics got on the project not because of their abilities, but with the help of connections. There are large centers where so-called psychics work, and they send their wards to promote their services on television, in the program "Battle of psychics". A woman was invited to the studio, who claimed that she was in some kind of dependence on the "psychic" Daria Mironova. In fact, she gave her money just like that. Mikhail Vinogradov confirmed that Daria is most likely a scammer with no special abilities other than psychoanalysis. And she accidentally got on the TV show "Battle of Psychics". True or fiction, the fact that Daria extorts money from ordinary people is still unknown, since the girl refuses to comment.
People who fall into the clutches of scammers can only wish for sanity, no matter how difficult the situation they are. You can’t believe everything that is shown on TV, especially TV shows. "Battle of psychics" - truth or show? Of course, the second. It's not a documentary, it's an entertainment program. Even despite the participation of real heroes and the help provided to them, one must remember what television is and what it was invented for.

Mikhail Vinogradov's statements are clear and do not leave much room for interpretation. The battle of psychics, according to him, effectively weeds out unnecessary people from hundreds of applicants for participation and leaves three real professionals in whose abilities, thanks to numerous and convincing checks, there is no doubt.

The TV show “Battle of Psychics” does NOT reveal real psychics
Even if we assume that psychics do exist, Mikhail Vinogradov's statement that the three finalists are necessarily strong psychics is either an outright lie or a naive delusion (unlikely). The amazing success of the participants can be observed mainly within the framework of this program. Outside of it, their magic instantly fades.

Psychic Bakhyt Zhumatova at the Harry Houdini Prize
In 2015, the Harry Houdini Prize was established in Russia. The winner will receive an award of 1,000,000 rubles.
In the application for participation in the award, the finalist of the seventh season of the Battle of Psychics Bakhyt Zhumatova indicated that she had the gift of clairvoyance and was able to see money well. Unsuccessful participants in such awards like to claim that their organizers do their best to interfere with the passage of tasks.
Contrary to such statements, money was used to test the psychic Bakhyt Zhumatova, which she needed to find in one of several black closed boxes.
At the press conference, she expressed confidence in her abilities and the successful completion of the experiment, but she did not even pass the preliminary test.
Instead of a successful, eloquent result, the audience received the eloquence of Bakhyt Zhumatova:
“If I, for example, were looking for money for myself, I would have found it, but this is, as it were, for an experiment.”
Not very convincing:
Firstly, the winner of the award receives 1,000,000 rubles for himself, so there is no need to talk about the lack of motivation.
Secondly, if she had voiced this requirement before the start of the test, there would certainly have been people who would have agreed to risk a couple of hundreds of pieces of paper to create suitable experimental conditions.
Third: this is a typical story for such trials. Participants always find excuses for failure after failure. They either didn’t eat, then they didn’t sleep, then they drank too much, then the stars did not converge so well ...
Later, another reason for the defeat of the psychic Bakhyt Zhumatova became clear. This is “the stress of dealing with the police.” Bakhyt Zhumatova was charged with five criminal cases.
