The most unusual coloring. Albums for creativity or coloring for children of a new generation

08.06.2019
If you are tired of the bad taste of modern coloring pages or can no longer look at the contours of Smeshariki, if the coloring in your understanding is something more than a simulator for perseverance and accuracy, you have a choice!

Today on the shelf of the Bookcase there are unusual unique coloring pages for real dreamers that develop the child's creativity and promote creative thinking..

Funny pictures and useful entertainment for the child are hidden in the album "Find and color" from Eksmo. The whole series is good and interesting, of excellent quality - white offset paper, soft thick glossy cover, A4 format. But "Find and Color" is still my favorite. Inside you are waiting for various tasks, it is proposed to first find and color something, and then continue at your own discretion. And there is a mouse on every page.

There is even more creativity in the series of drawing books from IDM "Learn, draw, invent" - there are no contours and ready-made pictures for painting, but there is room for imagination. For example, the captions for the posted spreads in order are: "You will be the author of this book. Draw your portrait", "Draw the one who caused all these destructions", "Save the vase", "What puppies were born to these dogs". We especially had fun with two pictures with wires: on one it is proposed to draw sparrows, and on the other - an elephant or a penguin. In general - a sea of positive and room for creativity !!!
The paper is very thin, translucent, but in this case it does not matter))

Here are two great great books:
in the labyrinth in the labyrinth
And a series of thin, 16 pages:

Albums "High fashion..." SO wonderful that even sit down and write a separate post about them. They will please both mothers and daughters. Still, in the first albumyou can color the famous creations of the most famous couturier Yves Saint Laurent based on his own sketches, finish the models and draw new ones.Amazing journeys await you inside - clothing sketches based on Africa, Russia, Spain, China Morocco, dialogues with art - sketches based on the works of great artists - Mondrian, Picasso, Matisse, Renoir, Léger, the opportunity to visit the footlights - see the costumes for the theater based on Venetian masks, circus and theatrical costumes, as well as incidentallydevelop aesthetic taste and sense of style.

Girls of all ages will understand my admiration for seemingly simple coloring pages, because we all designed clothes and drew paper dolls. My grandmother, the Great Reader's great-grandmother, worked as a seamstress, and at home she sewed dresses and jackets for me and the dolls, pants and bags, and the most beautiful snowflake costumes in the world for matinees. And under the sewing machine, she had a chest I adored with scraps of fabric and boxes of buttons of all colors and sizes. Burda magazines then seemed like a magical world that could be looked at for hours, and Soviet fashion magazines were carefully filed into a folder.

The quality of the albums "High Fashion for Daughters and Mothers" is also pleasing - thick paper, larger than A4, and a fantastically ridiculous price for publishing such content.

And even though the time when the Chief Reader will need these albums is still "beyond the distant mountains", they are already waiting for him in the Bookcase. The only pity is that there are only 40 pages in the album, and that there are only two of them in the series so far. How I want to continue, with different fashion designers!

I wanted to scan my "models" created by me in the preschool period, but unfortunately I could not find it. If you have, can you show me?

in the labyrinth in the labyrinth
For fans of Berner's books about Gorodok life, there are coloring pages with poems (terrible) and pictures (good), as well as a paper resident of the Gorodok with his wardrobe and a place for a self-portrait. We are waiting for the continuation of the Summer and Spring coloring series!

in the "Labyrinth"

Drawing is one of the most favorite activities of the child. Kids get acquainted with coloring quite early: many people like to color pictures. Thanks to drawing, the child develops not only creative thinking and imagination, but also fine motor skills, a sense of color and shape, perseverance, perseverance, and accuracy in actions are instilled. Parents should competently approach the issue of choosing a coloring book for children, because there are a number of parameters that must be taken into account when buying.

Coloring pages for children: we focus on the age of the child

Different types of coloring pages should correspond to each age. The right choice will be a guarantee that the child will be passionate about the process for a long time. In addition to the fact that there are certain requirements for printing (special GOSTs), there are also tips, following which each parent will be able to choose the right coloring for their child.

Coloring pages for children from 1 to 3 years old

Optimal contour thickness- 5-10 mm.

Parents need to know that for this age category, the main goal is to teach how to properly hold drawing tools (brushes, pencils, felt-tip pens).

When choosing a coloring book for the youngest artists, we pay attention to the quality of the paper. It must be durable, opaque so that the image does not show through on the reverse side. Thick paper is not so easy to tear, and this is important, since the child does not always control the pressure of a pencil or felt-tip pen.

Drawings should be as simple as possible, without small details. Schematic images of flowers, fruits, the sun, houses, clouds are ideal. The presence of complex drawings can discourage interest in drawing, it will be difficult for the child not to go beyond the contours of the image, the baby’s movements are still sharp and sweeping.

The drawing should be well known to the child, then he himself will be able to choose the right color. Many modern coloring books can suggest the right choice of the right pencil thanks to the colored outline line.

Coloring pages for children from 3 to 5 years old

Optimal contour thickness- 3-5 mm.

At this age, coloring pages for kids can already be a little tricky, as kids already know how to handle the basic drawing tools. They can draw straight lines, evenly paint over the desired area. Here in the drawings there may already be additional sharp lines and angles.

The optimal size of the picture is medium. Pay attention to the fact that there is enough free space around the drawing, as children of this age category love to fantasize and finish drawing something of their own. Try to choose drawings with elements that are still familiar.

Coloring pages for children from 5 years old

Optimal contour thickness- is not important, as is the name of the colors used. Here, children will be able to show their own imagination.

This age is already suitable for more complex drawings with a lot of small details, and the more details there are, the more interesting it will be for the child to decorate them.

The main criterion for choosing coloring pages for children of this age is to take into account the interests of the child. Boys will be interested in working with images of technology, superheroes, girls - with kittens, princesses. But be sure to offer children a choice - the more diverse coloring pages, the better.

Unusual coloring for children

If you want to surprise a child, offer him not the usual coloring, but complicated versions of it. Before this, be sure to show and explain to the baby how to do it and why.

  • Dot coloring. Before starting the actual coloring, the child is invited to independently draw the outline of the drawing, indicated by dots. The points must be connected in series with a pencil. The contour can be represented only by a dotted line (small dots) or a dotted line with numbers. In the latter option, you need to sequentially connect the dots with the corresponding numbers.

  • Albums of thematic colorings. This is a whole collection of coloring pages dedicated to one topic: animals, fruits, transport, countries, professions. They help the child to learn more about our world, and also allow parents to learn more about the interests of the baby.
  • Educational coloring book. In addition to the drawings themselves, there are numbers and letters here. This type of coloring is, in essence, an ordinary primer that children can arrange at their discretion.

  • Game coloring. In addition to coloring, children are invited to complete numerous tasks - go through a maze, find differences, find a character in a picture, answer questions, etc.
  • Water coloring. The paper has a special coating, which, when interacting with an ordinary brush soaked in clean water, will appear in different colors.
  • Volumetric coloring. Here, manufacturers have left the traditional form of this type of activity and offer kids to color plaster toys and figurines, colorless soft toys, voluminous photo frames, etc.
  • Reusable coloring pages. Their sheets are covered with a special composition that allows you to simply erase the fruits of the child's labors so that he can repeat the coloring again.

Children love to draw - this is a generally accepted fact! And so that the child does not draw on all existing types of surfaces that are not intended for this (tables, wallpapers, floors, TVs, etc.), show him how and on what he can successfully realize his needs and creativity.

Drawing can become an interesting and exciting activity if you innovate in this process by offering the child different types of coloring, experimenting with shapes, drawings, the type of tools used (pencils, paints, felt-tip pens). All this will allow your baby to be more creative, bolder, more self-confident!

Good afternoon, dear readers, guests, friends! I have long wanted to tell you about our new coloring books that appeared in our house. The books are unusual and very interesting, and since Dasha paints a lot, I'm always looking for something new and original.

The first coloring book that I will talk about today is called " Kalyaki-animals". This is a coloring book from the Think and Draw series. The child is offered a part of the picture, which he himself must complete. For example, a piece of cheese with holes is drawn on the page, and the kid must figure out who gnawed the holes and draw it. Or the child sees a panda in the picture that has lost its spots and needs to be drawn. There are a lot of options for tasks, there are very simple ones, there are also quite unusual ones, but they are all different and the child really likes them.

The second book is called Hide and Seek Riddles"A beautiful, chic book with many of the most unusual coloring pages. On each spread there are a lot of the most unexpected small and large drawings, for each of which the child is asked to complete a task. For example, find the same sweets and color them the same, or find snowmen in hats, see several dogs among the crowd of people and color them, etc.

The last book I want to tell you about is called "". It is designed for children from 7 years old, so it contains more difficult tasks than the previous two, but there are also those that my four-year-old child can do, for example, draw emotions and images on faces, come up with unusual hairstyles for girls, draw his robot or come up with a blot of a monster.

As a child, I just loved coloring books. I don’t know why and why, but I could literally spend hours with felt-tip pens and color black and white cartoon characters or animals or vehicles. In general, it didn’t really matter what to paint. Mom, probably, went broke on felt-tip pens and coloring books =) Today, for my son, I easily and simply print any coloring pages from the Internet. I just enter queries like “car coloring” or “tree coloring” into the search engine and immediately switch the search results to the “pictures on request” tab. Then Misha himself looks at all this variety of options and chooses the drawing he likes, which we print on the printer.

1. Colorful Farm and Colorful Nature

One of our most recent acquisitions is two wonderful coloring books for children from the Mann, Ivanov and Ferber publishing house. The authors of these unusual coloring pages were a family of artists originally from France - Pito Francesco and Gervais Bernadette.

These coloring pages are unusual because of the windows on the pages behind which new drawings are hidden.

The book also contains flaps, stencils, cut pages.

Each spread contains a plot, where certain parts of the picture echo in color, then in black and white. For younger children, this can tell you what color of pencil to choose.

The further into the book, the more variations of "shuffling" there are. Drawings of animals or insects are formed from different parts of the cut pages as if into a single puzzle. Very funny substitutions can be collected. For example, a fox with owl feathers or a cockchafer with fly wings.

Even when these books are already drawn, they are still fun to look at and play with over and over again!

The paper of these coloring pages is excellent - dense, white and moderately smooth. We got real high-quality albums in which it is pleasant to draw, both with pencils and felt-tip pens or paints. The albums are quite thin - only 32 sheets, but it is surprising that at the same time there is not enough coloring in them. Plus, due to the large format, they seem quite large and plump. Such coloring pages are suitable for children from 3 to 8 years old.

2. "Albums for the development of creativity"

Wonderful albums for the development of creativity were released on the Russian market several years ago, thanks again to the Mann, Ivanov and Ferber publishing house. That is, these publications cannot be called new, but at the same time they do not lose their relevance at all. The idea of these albums is surprisingly simple, but certainly no one will argue with the fact that such coloring books do not develop children.

In the albums you will find the simplest black and white illustrations with fun tasks. Here, for example, in my photos “Something falls from the stairs ...” or “What was for dinner yesterday?”

That is, the child is invited not only to color the drawing, but also to think of something of his own and draw it. The illustrations are deliberately made in such a casual style, because. as conceived by the author, such a style is closer to the child, and besides, it does not scare away the complexity of the lines, like a standard drawing. Here are a couple more examples of assignments from the publisher's website.

The author of this unusual idea is the Japanese artist Taro Gomi, who created his albums 20 years ago, and since then they have been replicated around the world by millions. By the way, in addition to home use, these albums are perfect for all kinds of developing and teaching children's centers. Albums can be bought both individually and in a set, which comes out significantly cheaper, which is why I took everything at once =)

3. “We draw all year round. 365 days of creativity"

We ourselves have not yet acquired this book, because I learned about it quite recently, but I will show pictures at least from the official website of the publisher.

As in the case of other coloring pages from MIF, the paper of these publications is first-class, the print quality is excellent, so you can’t find fault with anything, so don’t find fault :)

You can buy these wonderful coloring pages for kids both in city stores and in online bookstores. You can see prices and detailed reviews, for example, on the Labyrinth.

The Russian analogue of the above albums, also released by the fairly well-known publishing house ID Meshcheryakova. That is, the idea of coloring is not new, but the tasks are still different and they were invented by the artist Maria Gracheva.

I can say that there are tasks for every taste and they are no less interesting than those of Taro Gomi.

The coloring book is quite thick, it has 224 pages. The only thing is that the sheets are not as dense as those of other coloring pages, therefore there are very few, but they still shine through, which is not always convenient. But it pays off at a price that is lower than that of similar publications.

You can buy the publication "Learn, draw, invent: a coloring book for dreamers and mischievous people" in the shops of the city, or in online bookstores. You can see prices and detailed reviews, for example, on the Labyrinth.

5. "Kalyaki-Malyaki"

French artist Herve Tullet introduced children around the world to another unusual coloring format that helps the child understand that art has different forms and any art is important. Remember how we were taught as children? Allegedly, a scribble-doodle is nothing, and it makes no sense, and you need to draw something conscious, and not some useless mess. In Herve Tulle's coloring pages, each doodle takes on meaning, becomes part of something bigger. Very interesting!

In my opinion, it certainly expands the framework in the head, or, rather, simply does not set them, as is usually done in classical art.

Here, for example, is an exhibition of paintings from kalyak-malyak :)

Or even stylish hairstyles ;)

And maybe a variety of plants!

6. "Design Studio"

The book "Design Studio" is a fairly new creation, created by the same Herve Tulle. The main feature of this coloring book is stencils! As a child, I remember there were just stencils of letters and numbers, or geometric shapes on a ruler. But in this book, the variety of stencils is simply unthinkable.

It is difficult to imagine in advance what will come out from under your “pen”, when so many things can be easily drawn with the help of such “assistants”. A flight of fancy can take a child to distant places, and stencils will help the child become more confident in their artistic abilities, because often children do not draw something simply because they are afraid that they will not succeed. But not with this coloring.

Herve Tulle believed that it was much more important to awaken in the child the desire to create and make it clear that every step in his creative activity is important and significant. It is also important to provide the young creator with all kinds of materials and a field for activity. It turns out that every child can draw interestingly, and it is important to help him find an easy and confident way to transform his fictions and fantasies into drawings.

This book is similar in quality to MIF publications, i.e. thick white sheets of A4 format, on which it is convenient to draw like in a real album. Stencils are made of hard cardboard, it is very convenient to trace any drawings on them, but with strong efforts, of course, you can break them.

You can buy these wonderful coloring books for children both in the shops of the city and in online bookstores. You can see prices and detailed reviews, for example, on the Labyrinth. I hesitated whether to give references only to the coloring pages of Herve Tullet, or even to his other books, but nevertheless I decided that all of his publications are worthy of attention, and you will choose the most interesting to your liking. In the selection below you will find books with games and a variety of coloring books. All of them are unusual and will surely please your children!

7. "Big book for coloring and drawing"

It was this book that became the first in our collection of interesting coloring pages. I had never come across books like this before. Therefore, I immediately grabbed this one and quietly rejoiced at such a wonderful purchase =)

The book says 7+, i.e. tasks are designed for children of elementary school age. Some tasks will be really difficult for kids to complete. For example, I painted these giraffes somehow myself.

But if you look at the left page, it seems to me that even a five-year-old child will draw spiders.

But such cavemen and mammoths are crossed out by their little doodles and just a baby.

That is, the book contains tasks of completely different levels and it is very convenient for the baby to take it “for growth”.

The Big Book for Coloring and Drawing has 128 pages. The sheets are not very dense and translucent, but the paper is smooth, pleasant to the touch and comfortable for drawing, especially with pencils.

The author of this book-album is the English artist Fiona Watt. She has published a myriad of books on children's creative topics, but only a few have been published in Russia, and for the most part it is coloring books. The most popular of them I have shown in this collection below. You can also learn more about each by clicking on any of the books;)

8. “I am an artist! Color the masterpiece"

This coloring series is definitely for older children and even adults. And the tasks of the coloring pages of this series are completely different - getting to know the masterpieces of world art, developing a love for art, understanding color reproduction in art. In general, this is, so to speak, an in-depth program for lovers of classical painting. And not every child, of course, will agree to take on such a coloring.

However, I ordered just to be and wait in the wings. If my son doesn’t try it, I’ll try it myself :) In the end, it won’t hurt me to develop my artistic taste and vision of colors. Moreover, the price of these editions is the most affordable of all the listed coloring pages in my review, and therefore I could afford to just take one of the series for testing.

I took paintings by Claude Monet, but there are quite a lot of different artists and painting styles in the whole series. If you liked this option, then in the next selection you can take a closer look at other editions of this series.

Here is such a rather voluminous review of entertaining coloring pages turned out. I really hope that you will find something new and interesting in it for your child or even for yourself;) By the way, any of these publications are great for gifts for children. Considering that all coloring pages are unique and unusual, then, as a rule, it does not matter for whom to choose them - for a boy or for a girl, because the tasks in them can interest any child, taking him into the world of fantasy and imagination.

Coloring pages help to relax and relieve stress, develop creativity, fill life with bright colors. In addition, this is a great opportunity to return to childhood and nostalgic.

Remember how in childhood you loved drawings, where you had to connect dots with numbers to get a picture?

Meditation is said to be the penicillin of our times. It helps to find harmony and heals body and soul. The authors of this coloring book definitely agree with this statement.

The world of the Far North is mysterious and incredibly beautiful. It was its natural diversity and amazing animals that inspired the artist Claire Scully to create the coloring "Unspoiled Beauty".

Under the cover are mysterious forests and their inhabitants: a wolf and an elk, a lynx and an eagle, a squirrel and a hare, a blue whale and a polar bear. The peaks of the polar mountains and the depths of the seas and the northern lights are waiting for you. Get out your favorite paints and pencils.

The coloring page has 90 pages with detailed images that you can color for hours. In unique, detailed illustrations, Claire Scully conveys her admiration for wildlife. Images of animals magically emphasize the individuality and charm of each species.

The coloring paper is of high quality and thick enough to withstand paints and gel pens. Color in whatever you like. There are postcards at the end of the book that you can color, cut out and send to friends.

During leisure hours, allow yourself to relax and focus only on painting the landscapes and animals from the pages of this book. Your reward will be harmony, mindfulness, balance and inner peace.

Draw, love animals, take care of nature. All the sun and inspiration!
