The famous figure skater spoke about a new stage in life and the upbringing of her daughters.

Olympic champion Tatyana Navka believes that after forty years, life is just beginning. Now Tatyana has more worries than usual: she is preparing her first ice project, and at the same time she manages to devote time to her husband and children. We learned from the figure skater why her youngest daughter, 3-year-old Nadya, recites “A green oak near Lukomorye” and how her eldest daughter, 17-year-old Sasha, is preparing for the exam.

"Preparing an assassination attempt on Pushkin"

- Tatyana, ten years ago you won the Olympic "gold". What did you start dreaming about when you won the main award? What would you like to do after your career ends?

- The goal of my whole life was then achieved - I became an Olympic champion. I felt an extravaganza of happiness, but at the same time I was frightened by uncertainty: life goes on, and it is not clear what will happen next. In Japan, America and other large countries, even then figure skating was popular, there were many ice shows, so there was always enough work for skaters there. Of course, there were offers to perform abroad. But when you arrive there, you feel like just a guest. I wanted to ride and work in Russia. Such an opportunity appeared after the start of the Ice Age on Channel One. Thanks to the TV project, millions of people fell in love with figure skating, and we became in demand in our homeland. Ilya Averbukh, in addition to the Ice Age, created an entire ice empire - this is how many skaters got work in the show. We traveled all the time with tours, performed.

- I remember the words of Tatyana Tarasova: “Navka is one of the few skaters who for many years has not lost the pleasure of everyday communication with the profession.” Do you think that in 10 years these words can be repeated?

- 10 years ago, when I won the Olympic Games, I thought: "God grant me another five or six years to skate, and I will be the happiest person." And today I agree with the words of Katya Tikhomirova from the film "": "At 40, life is just beginning." It is impossible to predict the future. But I know for sure that a new chapter of my life is about to begin. For the past few years, friends and relatives have often asked: “You have so much experience, energy - why don’t you do something of your own?” It was scary to decide on our own project, as we already have some great ice shows. I am a person who needs to strive for something all the time, learn new things, break through walls, surprise. Maybe because I'm an Aries zodiac sign. This year I felt that the time had come and I was ready to do a serious project. You can see the result already on December 23. All New Year's holidays my show "Ruslan and Lyudmila" will go on. I took on a great responsibility, you can say that I encroach on Pushkin (laughs). But seriously, we write music based on Pushkin's poems, and this is a big responsibility. Thanks to a colorful show and special effects, we will try to put the poem "Ruslan and Lyudmila", which Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin wrote 200 years ago, in a modern way.

Tatyana Navka and Pyotr Chernyshev as Ruslan and Lyudmila

- You are in the role of Lyudmila, but unexpectedly it was not Roman Kostomarov, but Pyotr Chernyshev who became Ruslan. Why?

- You know, I initially assumed that Roman would not be able to participate in my project, since he was involved in the performances of Ilya Averbukh. Although the hope that Ilya would still let Roman go, remained. But for obvious reasons, Roman could not. But, as you know, there is no silver lining! My old friend is a great skater. He definitely fits the character, besides, he has a suitable noble appearance, he is artistic and harmonious in the role of Ruslan. So once again I was convinced: everything that is done in life is for the better. In my show, I am both a producer and a director, I control the whole process. I have a strong team working with me. It is extremely interesting for me to learn from our stage director Alexei Sechenov, to discover with his help the behind the scenes of creating an ice show. For the past few months I have been living exclusively with this work, my family and friends are already used to constantly discussing the show. Although my husband is already starting to grumble, he is jealous of Ruslan and Lyudmila (laughs).

- When a difficult situation happens, you need to make a decision, but there is none. How are you doing now and who helped before when you skated?

- With age, I learned not to panic, and in any incomprehensible situation, the most correct thing is to pause. Remember how in the fairy tale “The Frog Princess” the frog said to Ivan Tsarevich: “Go to bed! The morning is wiser than the evening". I make difficult decisions in the morning, with a fresh mind - I wake up and understand how to cope with an “insoluble” problem. Wisdom comes with experience. And in my youth, my parents suggested the right decisions. I always knew that mom and dad would accept and support me in any situation. Now I am laying the same confidence in my daughters and in the children of my husband - they grow up knowing that they have a reliable rear at home. Children should feel that they are surrounded by loving people. You need to believe in children, always give them the opportunity to show themselves. Do not stop their desire to learn something, do not say: do not do this, you will not succeed. In no case do I shout - in our house they don’t even know what it means to raise your voice. But I can seriously tell Nadia what can and cannot be done. I will always explain why.

“I quote Margaret Thatcher to my daughter”

- For your family, this year is responsible - the eldest daughter is in her senior year. Do you control your studies or do you trust Sasha?

- It was important to control until the age of 16, now Sasha already understands that no one will do anything for her. I see that she is responsible for her actions, diligently and responsibly treats her studies. She studies well, I'm proud of her. We have a trusting relationship, so Sasha consults with me, shares, asks for advice as a friend. Indeed, a responsible year has begun for her - ahead of preparation for the Unified State Examination, admission to the institute at the Faculty of Economics.

Are you in control of your social circle?

- I don’t control it, but I know who Sasha is friends with - these are children from her class and school. They also visit us, go on excursions, hold poetry evenings, play sports games. All of them are passionate about learning, they know what to strive for. I really like Sasha's social circle.

- After Sasha decided not to continue her career as a tennis player due to an injury, she became interested in music. Sings, clip released. It is often difficult for parents to discern a child's tendencies. Who has this talent?

Photo: Mercury Press Service

- Definitely not me! (Laughs.) Maybe in dad or grandparents? Sasha was very shy and sang mostly when no one was at home. It was her hobby, which her daughter hid from everyone. But a couple of times I heard Sasha sing, so when she stopped playing professional sports, we decided together that she would start doing vocals and music. It was important immediately after the end of the career of a tennis player to occupy my daughter with something, so that there would be no disappointment, depression, throwing and searching for oneself. We chose a composer, he wrote several songs, and two years ago Sasha performed for the first time at our wedding in Sochi - it was her gift. My daughter really likes it, she succeeds, so I support this hobby. At one of the events, we met Max Fadeev, he found out that Sasha was singing, talked to her, and gave some advice. Max said he liked Sasha, open, wise, purposeful. A little later, he wrote a song for Sasha: when the music was ready, he suggested that she think about the words herself. We ended up making a video. Of course, now the daughter's main task is to finish school and go to college, but she will continue to professionally develop vocals.

Sasha's task is to go to college, but she will continue to professionally develop vocals

- It turns out that it is the parents who should notice the talent in the child, push him at the right time, support him?

Most of the time, parents can help. It was the same with me and Sasha. Rarely does a child get through on his own. Remember the story of how Natasha Ionova-Chistyakova was accidentally seen on the street and at the age of 11 was invited to appear in the children's film magazine Yeralash? She was a tomboy, and this happy accident made her an asterisk, which Max Fadeev later noticed - and she became Gluk'oZoy. Such cases are one in a million. Therefore, the role of parents in the professional orientation of children is significant.

- Your character at Sasha? Achieve the desired result in any situation?

- You know, I have a very purposeful Sasha. Of course, the example of parents is important. If dad lies on the couch all his free time, drinks beer, eats chips, watches TV shows and football, then the son will take an example from him. Or when a mother disappears all day in shops and beauty salons, busy only with herself, then her daughter is likely to become like her. In families where parents work, lead an interesting, rich and healthy lifestyle, constantly learn something new, children do not have a chance to grow up differently. I often remind Sasha of Margaret Thatcher's quote: “Watch your thoughts, for they become words. Words become actions and actions become habits. Beware of habits, for they form character. Pacify the character, for it becomes destiny. What we think, we become.” A person sometimes attributes his shortcomings and failures to character, but often the cause of problems is ordinary promiscuity.

The youngest daughter of Tatyana Navka Nadya is a busy girl - she goes to swimming, gymnastics, draws, sculpts, studies music and foreign languages. But there is enough time for cartoons. Photo: Personal archive

- What do you do with your youngest daughter? Has Nadia been sent to sports yet?

- Nadia swims with us from the cradle. Now we take her to swimming or gymnastics every day. These are wellness classes for children, all exercises are simple so that the child develops and directs energy in the right direction. In the near future I plan to give Nadia to dance, now I'm just looking for a place where we will take her. We do not plan to grow an Olympic champion out of Nadia, we just want her to be a harmonious person and find herself. After all, we do not raise children so that they grow up to be geniuses, and then parents brag about it. Our goal is to feel the interests of the child, to direct him in such a way that he then walks more confidently through life. To do this, we develop, we send our daughter to different activities. Her schedule includes modeling, drawing, foreign languages, music, reading. Nadia likes it all, her eyes are burning. She is happy to make crafts for mom and dad, we have a whole gallery of applications, drawings, plasticine figures at home. I think that the child should be as busy as possible, and not sit for days at the TV or with the iPad. Cartoons also need to be watched, but the child must have a routine.

What fairy tales do you read to Nadya?

- I am a supporter of the classics: we read "Morozko", "Geese Swans", "Three Little Pigs", "Thumbelina" and other traditional works. I think that in early childhood it is necessary to read classical works, since these works lay the right foundations for the formation of personality. Now, for obvious reasons, Nadya most often recites by heart an excerpt from the poem "Ruslan and Lyudmila" "At the Lukomorye there is a green oak."

Tanya first went on the ice at the age of five. Photo: Personal archive

- You have a lot of work now, who helps with taking care of the children?

- Nadia has a nanny. But my main support is my mother, she helps with Nadia when I am busy. Mom is our family locomotive, she has guided me since childhood, she was an engine that gave energy and faith in our own strengths. She found the right words in different situations, and I believed: I can, I can cope with a new task. Now the grandmother plays a big role in Sasha's life: she charges her granddaughter with self-confidence, supports, inspires.

- I can’t help but find out your prediction for the Olympics in Korea. Just over four months left, what are our chances for gold?

- I would like to believe that in the single women's figure skating we will have several medals. I do not leave hope that our dance couple will also be on the podium. Alexander Zhulin is now preparing two wonderful couples for the Olympics. These are Katya Bobrova with Dmitry Solovyov and Victoria Sinitsina and Nikita Katsalapov. I think that Sinitsina and Katsapalov are the future of world figure skating. And this year they have an amazing program. By the way, Alexander Zhulin helps in my ice show in productions with choreography. Since Alexander now has an important Olympic season, he will rarely be able to attend training, but he will be able to oversee the process.

- This fall they are discussing. They won Olympic gold at a young age. After all, this is not the worst end of a career? The tragedy did not happen, as many believe.

- Of course, not the worst! They are very young: Adeline Sotnikova is 21 years old, Yulia Lipnitskaya is 19 years old. And they already have the status of Olympic champions, which means they have a head on their shoulders. They can go and conquer the world: learn, set any goals and achieve them. If they won Olympic medals, then they will not disappear in adulthood.

- For you, in the first place is the family or new projects, ambitions?

- I am so confidently moving forward today thanks to my family: my husband, who always supports me, parents and children - they are my reliable rear. Thank God they are close. Only this gives confidence and the ability to overcome any difficulties, come up with new interesting projects and implement them.

Private bussiness

Tatyana Navka was born on April 13, 1975. For the first time I went on the ice at the age of 5. Olympic champion in ice dancing paired with Roman Kostomarov, three-time champion of Russia and Europe, two-time world champion. Honored Master of Sports of Russia. She graduated from the Academy of Physical Culture and the Moscow State University of Culture and Arts (specialty - "director of theatrical performances and holidays"). Producer and starring in the ice show "Ruslan and Lyudmila", which will premiere on December 23 in Moscow. He brings up two daughters: 17-year-old Alexander Zhulina and 3-year-old Nadezhda Peskova. Married.

On December 27, on the ice of the Moscow Megasport, the premiere of Tatyana Navka's new show "The Scarlet Flower" based on the fairy tale of the same name by Sergei Aksakov will take place. Shows will run until January 8th.

The producer and leading lady told Andrei Vandenko not only about the musical, but also about relationships with colleagues, the success of Nadya's daughter in learning Chinese, and Dmitry Peskov's red revolutionary harem pants.

- So that's what you are, Scarlet flower!

Would you like to continue the sentence? Explained why Aksakov chose the fairy tale for the musical?

Probably, then it is necessary to explain how the idea was born in principle. A year ago, I made my debut with the premiere of the Ruslan and Lyudmila ice show. Thoughts about my own project began to appear in my mind a long time ago, several years ago. Friends, relatives constantly asked, even terrorized: "Tanya, well, when? It's time, it's time!"

- Who was especially zealous? Husband?

Dmitry Sergeevich is calm about what I do in my profession. Relies on my experience, does not press, does not insist. Might give some advice if I ask. And there was no such thing as demanding: "You must become a producer, organize your own program." Rather, on the contrary. On the one hand, he liked my idea with the first project, he was proud that everything worked out, on the other hand, from the very beginning he understood how difficult it was to promote such a story, and was worried about how I could bear such a load.

Mom was the real locomotive, the mover. She supports me in everything, believes in my strength even more than I do myself.

Mom was the real locomotive, the mover. She supports me in everything, believes in my strength even more than I do myself. From childhood, my mother said that I was the best, beautiful and talented. Like, now you will go out on the ice and tear your opponents. And it always helped a lot, added confidence. I remember when I became pregnant with my first child and internally said goodbye to the profession, resigned to the thought of leaving big-time sports, my mother immediately said: “Everything is fine, daughter, but watch your form, don’t get better. You will soon return to the ice, you should become Olympic champion." I tried to argue that we would raise a winner from my daughter and her granddaughter, but my mother categorically disagreed with such a formulation of the question. And, as you can see, she succeeded. I returned to professional sports and, together with Roman Kostomarov, won gold at the Turin Olympics.

In the situation with the show, my mother also pushed for a decision. After all, I skated in the projects of Ilya Averbukh for a long time, I was a guest star in his programs. This chapter of my life had to end sooner or later. It can also be compared with a long corridor, in which there are many, many doors. Coming out of one, it is important not to break into a closed one, but to find your own, the one that you need.

According to the [Zodiac] sign, I am Aries, a stubborn and confident person. In addition, I have good intuition, which more than once helped me not to make a mistake in choosing. From childhood I knew what I wanted. My parents insisted that I go in for gymnastics or athletics, but at the age of five I said that I would only be a figure skater, and asked me not to interfere with becoming a champion.

There are different circumstances in life. When Roman Kostomarov, at the behest of our then coach Natalia Linichuk, left for another partner, I did not begin to nurse, but immediately decided to give birth to a child, to use the pause to good use. The door opened and I entered it.

And then there were many situations when life changed diametrically.

- After leaving the sport, you had a long "Ice Age", participation in the First Channel show.

This is exactly what I'm talking about. I got into the project of Ilya Averbukh, and it was a wonderful time. We all grew up there - as artists, personalities, coaches. After all, we had to skate with amateurs, to teach adults who had taken place in people's lives to stand on skates. The problem, I want to tell you, is not the easiest. But how many new friends we have acquired!

- Who was your best partner for these ten years?

Each one is good in its own way. One is devilishly charismatic, the second keeps well on the ice, the third has an amazing sense of humor ... Marat Basharov and I made our debut, and that season stands apart. We didn’t understand anything yet, and after the Olympic Games we treated the show like a skit. I didn't care if I won or lost. Spent time in a pleasant company, and this is the main thing. At first, the rest of the guys reacted the same way. And then the sports spirit suddenly turned on, everyone began to fight for the first place. Vadim Kolganov, Andrei Burkovsky and Ville Haapasalo were excellent with skates. Just from a technical point of view. My most cheerful partner was Misha Galustyan.

In the second season, Chulpan Khamatova came and, together with Roman Kostomarov, set a very high bar. She was involved in figure skating as a child, in addition, she is insanely gifted. I'm not talking about artistic talent. Chulpan breathed new life into the project.

I repeat, it was a wonderful period. At the same time, I participated in the ice shows of Ilya Averbukh, including "City Lights" and "Carmen", where I danced the leading parts ...

- And then they realized: stop working for your uncle?

In principle, everything suited me, I received a decent fee, but at the same time I realized that I couldn’t stop, I had to move on. There was no place for me in some of Ilya's projects, I depended on the taste and desires of the director and producers and gradually began to get tired of it. I understood: you need to create something of your own, while there is strength and desire, while the viewer goes to look at me. How many more years can I ride? We are not dramatic actors or opera singers who go on stage until old age and remain in the profession. Our career in this sense is much more fleeting.

- Everything is relative. Belousova and Protopopov skated until the age of 75, if I'm not mistaken. Even participated in the competitions of veterans.

You know, everything has its time. It is necessary to be able not only to earn, but also to put an end to it, to stop. At least for me it is important to enjoy what I do. Nothing should be forced, strained. Otherwise, it will turn out to be a hack, and I am a strict self-criticist and a Samoyed, a perfectionist. I won't do bad...

Nothing should be forced, strained. Otherwise it will be a mess...

How old was your daughter at that moment?

A year old or a little more. Nadya got acquainted early with the poetry of Pushkin, Yesenin, and other great compatriots. And we listen to opera. We learn Chinese with a native speaker.

Why did they stop there? In Chinese?

Languages are best learned from infancy. Nadia will always master English or French, by the way, we are also slowly learning them, but with Chinese, you see, it is more difficult. And the language is interesting, it develops the left hemisphere of the brain, which is responsible for the mathematical mindset. I'm unlikely to ever master this letter, and my daughter chirps calmly. Even sometimes he specifically answers me in Chinese, knowing that I don’t understand. He jokes like that, plays ...

But I propose to discuss the topic of children's upbringing separately, otherwise we will never reach the "Scarlet Flower".

I return to "Ruslan and Lyudmila". I remembered that there was a film shot in the seventies of the last century, there was Glinka's wonderful music, but, oddly enough, no one staged a musical based on Pushkin's first poem. Reading it again, I learned a lot. For example, unexpectedly for me, uncle Chernomor, a platoon of thirty excellent knights, turned out to be the hero of another fairy tale. And in "Ruslan and Lyudmila" this is an evil sorcerer.

The poem is diverse, inhabited by interesting characters. Ice choreography, as if on a knurled track, lay down on Pushkin's poems, for which we specially wrote music. Of course, they exploited Glinka a little with his wonderful opera. Let's say they used the theme of Chernomor. Why not? For the children who came to the show, familiarization with the classics definitely did not become a hindrance.

I was terribly worried. It was the first such story in my life. I don't want my enemy to go through so much stress! I forced myself to delve into not only creative, but also technical aspects associated with the use of special effects, light projections. I understood that I had to control the process from and to: it’s worth letting a little bit go by itself and - write wasted, it will definitely turn out worse than it could be. No wonder they say: if you want it to turn out well, do it yourself.

- How long have you been preparing the project?

About a year. Having started a completely new business for herself, she lost her peace and sleep. Never felt so bad. Even at the Olympic Games, she went out on the ice calmly, knowing what and how to do. Producing is a different story, in which it is much more difficult to cope with emotions. Before the premiere, she lost five kilograms. Mom, when she saw me on the eve of the performance, unsuccessfully tried to hide her tears, she really burst into tears. "Mom, what are you?!" - "Daughter, what have you brought yourself to! But don't worry, everything will be fine!"

For days on end I was lost on the ice arenas. It happened that she returned home at five or six in the morning, shaking like a hare. "Are you cold?" the husband asked. And I was pounding not from the cold - from constant nervous tension, from off-scale emotions.

We skated, rehearsed at various venues. We were given ice at Megasport, at CSKA, at Odintsovo near Moscow - thanks to everyone for their support. The premiere of the musical took place exactly one year ago - December 23, 2017 [year]. This year we will go on the ice a little later - on December 27th. I promised my family that now I would not be so nervous. As long as I hold on

- How many performances have you already given?

Last December and January, Ruslan and Lyudmila played 24 times in a row. If we count the tour performances, there were about 70 performances in a year: in addition to Moscow, also in Sochi and Kazan. At the end of last winter, they again took to the ice in the capital. As they say, by popular demand of the audience. And again gathered huge halls. Megasport has 7,000 seats, no other theater can accommodate that many. We are currently planning 25 performances with "The Scarlet Flower".

- Did everyone who was planned to be involved in the project respond to the invitation?

Unfortunately, Roman Kostomarov, with whom I won the Olympic Games in 2006, does not skate with me. I sympathize with his decision. Roma needs to feed his family, he chose an established story with Averbukh. For three summer months, Ilya's team lives and performs in Sochi. Of course, Roman could skate with me on New Year's Eve and return, but he was afraid of Averbukh's reaction. Each blacksmith of his own happiness. Roma knows that he can come to me at any moment, he is always waiting for him. We are made for each other, so given by fate.

It is very important when two self-sufficient people live side by side, without infringing on each other and without demanding anything from a partner but love.

Since I first encountered such a wave of lies and anger, I was shocked. Didn't understand why? It seems to be a wedding, a bright and clean holiday, from which everyone should get tremendous pleasure. Why spoil it in such an obscene way? Dmitry Sergeevich, a more seasoned comrade in this sense, tried to calm me down, and then I began to react more calmly to everything. A protective shell has grown. I realized that I need to live my life, do work, husband, children.

I like the phrase that Tatyana Anatolyevna Tarasova repeats: "Tanks are not afraid of dirt." So I tried to become such a "tank". It's a shame one thing: these gossip, idle talk take time and effort. But Dmitry Sergeevich and I know that we live honestly, we don’t commit nasty and mean things, we work a lot. In recent weeks, we have hardly seen each other due to workload. My husband had a business trip, then preparations were underway for a big press conference of the President of the country, for me - the last days before the premiere. Sometimes we meet at breakfast and ask each other the question: "Why do we need this? Why can't we live like normal people?"

- And what do you answer?

It is very important when two self-sufficient people live side by side, without infringing on each other and without demanding anything from a partner except love. In my opinion, this is the key to a happy family life.

Are you talking about working from home?

I can talk about mine, but almost none of his. I try not to ask too many questions. The case when you know less, sleep better. Yes, and Dmitry Sergeevich wants to take a break from worries. He does not part with his mobile phone anyway, even on Sunday afternoon he does not turn it off for an hour. How many times I persuaded ... There is only one answer: "I can't, I can't." The husband is a very responsible person. In everything. In work, in relation to children, wife, relatives, friends, colleagues.

In this we are similar. But my circle of concerns, of course, is much more modest. There are periods when the load subsides. Literally today I carved out half a day and sat with Nadyusha. Had a great time.

- Petitioners do not pester you, Tatyana?

This has become too much. "Please pass it on to Dmitry Sergeevich" ... Or immediately to Vladimir Vladimirovich. At first I tried to laugh it off, saying that I see the president of the country very often. Almost daily. And almost always on TV.

Then I realized: humor does not save. I immediately began to refuse, so as not to inspire hope.

It's harder with friends. They get offended when I say I can't help. And I really can't! How do you imagine that? I come home and start attacking my husband with requests from strangers? What will he say to me?

- Requests are also different.

Yes, it happens that a person needs real help and support in a hopeless situation. A couple of times I turned on and achieved results. But this is rather an exception. Unfortunately, you can’t warm everyone, it’s beyond my physical and moral strength. Although, I confess, it is very difficult to refuse a person.

My husband and I often help sick children, the elderly, but we never advertise this. Maybe, over time, I’ll get more involved in charity work, create my own foundation or join an existing one, but for now I’m focused on figure skating.

- Ask yourself the question: how much is still ahead?

You know, after the Olympics, I thought that I would ride five more years at the most, and that’s it. In 2011 [the year] I decided: let's celebrate the forty-fifth birthday of Dmitry Sergeevich in a year, arrange a mini-show for him on ice, congratulate my loved one, and after that, with a clear conscience, I'll hang my skates on a nail. Indeed, I called my friends, rented a small ice rink, we organized a demonstration performance for relatives and friends.

Then a new goal appeared: to make an even bigger show for her husband on his half-century anniversary. In 2017, Dmitry Sergeevich celebrated his fiftieth birthday, and I was preparing for the premiere of the musical Ruslan and Lyudmila. From myself, my children and friends made a video film for my husband. It was touching and funny.

It would seem that all the scheduled dates have been passed, you can stop. Instead, another premiere is on the way. I have already realized that it is better not to guess. Today I am focused on "The Scarlet Flower", until January 8 my life is scheduled, and then ... As it will be, so it will be. You definitely won't be bored.

The figure skater showed the exercise she does in the morning.

A few days ago, Tatyana Navka returned from vacation. She spent most of January with her family. However, even on vacation, she did yoga and ate right. If people usually lose their shape during the holidays, then the skater does not belong to this group of people. Immediately after returning home, she is with her daughter Nadezhda. And the other day the athlete decided to show off her physical form.

more on the topic

IN social network Navka posted a video showing part of her home workout. In the frame, she in a blue suit does a headstand, while also leaning on her elbows, and gradually moves her legs first to a vertical position, and then parallel to the floor. "Don't put off until tomorrow what you can do on Monday morning!" - wrote the skater. Fans were delighted with the video. They praised Tatyana for her willpower.

"Brilliantly! A real champion!”, “Cool”, “Incredibly, admire”, “Amazing combinations - plasticity, strength, femininity, will, beauty and goodwill”, “Always in shape. It’s commendable, ”commented subscribers. Note that not so long ago Navka

This year, February 23 coincides with the closing of the Olympic Games in Sochi. So we decided to please our defenders and at the same time the fans with an interview with one of the most beautiful Russian athletes, figure skater Tatyana Navka. The interview was published in KhlebSol magazine in January-February 2014, and was conducted, as usual, by Yulia Vysotskaya.

Tatyana Navka is a Russian figure skater, Olympic champion in 2006, two-time world champion, three-time European champion. Tatyana was born in Ukraine, in Dnepropetrovsk. Translated from Ukrainian, "navka" means "mermaid". Which, in fact, is not far from the truth.

Julia Vysotskaya: We will have a delicious conversation. About food. But not in the sense of how to lose weight, but in the sense of what food generally means to you. What place does it occupy in your life?

Tatiana Navka: Food is one of the first places in my life. I am from Ukraine. But, to my shame, recently, due to my profession, I have become very rarely cook. All her life she cooked borscht, and made cutlets, and pancakes. And national dishes. I love to cook and I love to eat delicious food. But, as you understand, from childhood I was always limited in food. Scales for me have become something terribly unpleasant. I don't step on the scale anymore.

Julia Vysotskaya: I also never weigh myself. Libra is our ill-wisher, they do not like us.

Tatiana Navka: I have developed such an aversion to them since childhood that ...

Julia Vysotskaya: Is it because they were weighed by force?!

Tatiana Navka: Yes, they were constantly weighed. One hundred grams there, one hundred grams back. I have so many stories about weighing!

Julia Vysotskaya: Tanya, do you think this leaves a mark on the child? After all, there are two theories. Some in childhood are forbidden everything - from sugar to bread. And some, on the contrary, everything is allowed. But today there really is such a danger: children eat a lot of sugar. We didn't have that many in our childhood. And sugar in the first place leads to excess weight. And I'm worried about this, but, to be honest, I don't know how to influence it. How to make sure that there are no complexes, so that the child does not start to be afraid of food. Do you have this fear of food? Due to the fact that you have to weigh yourself all the time, go on diets ...

Tatiana Navka: There was fear, of course. But that didn't make me eat less sweets. It seems to me that in this matter it is necessary to act with explanations, not prohibitions. The more you forbid, the more the child will want. Forbidden fruit, you know, is sweet... I had one very funny story with weighing. My first partner was also always very worried before weighing. First, he should wear it. And secondly, you just need to look good on the ice. The figure skater should look like a ballerina in appearance: thin, fragile, miniature. So, after the next weighing, I go and buy a big piece of cake, go into the subway with it, bite off it with a breath, and suddenly someone is on my shoulder like that ... I turn around and see my partner. He grabs the remaining piece of cake and throws it right in my face, saying, "Are you full?" But I'm not a blunder girl, with character! I scrape the rest of the cake off my face and back into my partner.

Julia Vysotskaya: Of course, “but carry you to me later!”

Tatiana Navka: There was a lot going on with the weigh-ins. Coach me after weighing sometimes literally head against the wall. But it seems to me that all this was useless. In principle, I was a very responsible child both in my studies and in training. Never missed class. But there were days when I was so tired from everything that I just could not get out of bed and go to the next workout. Then I called the coach and partner and said that I was sick. And for two or three days I just lay on the bed, watched TV, and there was always an impressive pile of sweets near the bed. It was such a revenge on everything and everyone in the world.

Julia Vysotskaya: It was such an antidepressant you had ...

Tatiana Navka: I lived in Moscow alone, without a mother. And that's how I brought myself into psychological balance.

Julia Vysotskaya: Well, you're in such wonderful shape now. Apparently, your sweet revenge did not affect the appearance. You have such a healthy and joyful look and excellent physical condition. So your psyche has not suffered from such terrible bullying?

Tatiana Navka: No, it wasn't hurt, thank God. But I think it's genetics. AND…

Julia Vysotskaya:…physical exercise.

Tatiana Navka: Certainly. Genetics genetics. It seems to me that any self-respecting woman, at least sometimes, is engaged in self-criticism: here I have too much, and here ... I am exactly the same. And if I forget everything, lie down on the sofa and do not play sports, I will immediately blur and become ugly. And then, we, athletes, generally have to plow all our lives, because loads are our drug.

Julia Vysotskaya: Yes, it's a chemical balance.

Tatiana Navka: Nothing without sports.

Julia Vysotskaya: What else do you do besides skating?

Tatiana Navka: Now I'll tell you everything. When I stood on the Olympic podium with a gold medal and tears flowed in a stream ... Everyone thought that they were flowing from happiness. Of course, they flowed from this too. But even in my head the thought was spinning all the time: “Well, that's it, finally! I will never go to the gym again in my life!”

Julia Vysotskaya: So you made that decision right then?

Tatiana Navka: Even earlier. When was the last training day before leaving for the Olympics in Turin. You know, it was such an amazing feeling! No more running, push-ups, lifting all these weights. I don't have to torture myself anymore. And now, almost eight years have passed since that Olympics. And only this summer I suddenly realized: if I continue to continue ...

Julia Vysotskaya:… get high?

Tatiana Navka: Yes. Nothing good will come of it. Of course, I tried to replace it with yoga, Pilates. Everything is not right! Such an effect does not work. And so I finally got myself a coach. And two or three times a week we go with Tina Kandelaki to the same fitness club. All summer I went in for sports and, surprisingly, I enjoyed it a lot.

Julia Vysotskaya: It's so important to enjoy what you do! And what do you remember from your childhood, taste associations, Ukraine, maybe something from your mother?

Tatiana Navka: You know, I can, as they say, sell my homeland for Napoleon.

Julia Vysotskaya: For my mother?

Tatiana Navka: For my mother and for any well-made "Napoleon".

Julia Vysotskaya: What is he, your "Napoleon"?

Tatiana Navka: In Moscow, we have a place called ... Remember, the former ship ... "Swallow" ?! That's the best "Napoleon" in the world. Highly recommend.

Julia Vysotskaya: Is he so wet there? With custard or buttercream?

Tatiana Navka: With custard, of course. When my mother baked it, my sister and I were trusted to pierce the cakes so that they would not swell. It seems to me that all the best taste memories from childhood. New Year, "Napoleon", Olivier ... All from childhood.

Julia Vysotskaya: What are you cooking?

Tatiana Navka: What am I cooking? When we lived in America (until 1996, Tatyana Navka lived in the USA. - Approx. Ed.), Your programs “We eat at home” were shown there all the time. And I thought: “Someday I will take notes, and then cook it all.” And now the Olympics are over, almost eight years have passed, and I'm still waiting for when I will have time to cook. To be honest, I love to cook, but so far I do everything in a quick way. She ran in, made some kind of salad with crab, or quickly fried the meat.

Julia Vysotskaya: Come on, give me a recipe. What are you doing so fast? So you will come home today and what will you do?

Tatiana Navka: I'll buy a steak, I'll fry it. I will make Baku-style tomatoes and onions. I love crab salad with arugula or tuna. I like to do things quickly. In general, I do everything in life quickly and cook quickly. At one time, when I just got married, I also baked pies and pancakes, made cakes. But it so happened that I ate it all myself.

Julia Vysotskaya: That is, pancakes did not pave the way to the heart of a man?

Tatiana Navka: Yes, they didn't. Everyone lost weight around, trained. And I thought, what am I digging my own grave with pancakes. This is where my baking experience ended. When the child was small, of course, I did everything myself.

Julia Vysotskaya: What other weaknesses do you have besides Napoleon? What do you allow yourself sometimes?

Tatiana Navka: I don't eat bread at all. But in Paris it is simply impossible. I can eat the most ordinary baguette there. There's some kind of unreal bread. And there I eat as much as I want.

Julia Vysotskaya: Well, you are not in Paris all year round. Arrived for a week - and that's it!

Tatiana Navka: Then there is such a load - mother do not worry! You go shopping - the energy leaves the sea. In general, I am weak-willed.

Julia Vysotskaya: Come on! You?! Said the Olympic champion!

Tatiana Navka: I swear! When it comes to food, I'm weak-willed.

Julia Vysotskaya: What can seduce you? Chocolate?

Tatiana Navka: But no! I don't care for chocolate!

Julia Vysotskaya: Pizza, pasta?

Tatiana Navka: This is possible. Pasta vongole! I love Italy and everything related to Italy. By the way, when I found out that the Olympic Games would be in Turin, I said: “We will definitely win them!” It was 100% my Olympics. It even seems to me that in the past I was Italian or my husband was Italian. After all, Italians are very similar to us.

Julia Vysotskaya: If we talk about your ideal country to taste, is it Italy? Not China, not Japan, not France? And in Italy you eat everything? And meat? And pasta? And tiramisu?

Tatiana Navka: Basically, of course, I eat fish and seafood in Italy.

Julia Vysotskaya: What about Russian cuisine? How does she marry you?

Tatiana Navka: Wonderful! Olivier, vinaigrette.

Julia Vysotskaya: Well, this is such a Soviet food after all. And if we talk about buckwheat porridge, pies ...

Tatiana Navka: I also like buckwheat porridge, with butter, fried. Everyone says: you have to sit on buckwheat porridge. So I sat on porridge with butter.

Julia Vysotskaya: This is how it goes well with butter (laugh).

Tatiana Navka: You know, everything about diets is not about me.

Julia Vysotskaya: No?!

Tatiana Navka: No. I physically can't sleep hungry.

Julia Vysotskaya: For me, diet and insomnia are two girlfriends.

Tatiana Navka: In general, I believe that a person should live with pleasure. I went to the gym with pleasure this summer and eat with the same pleasure.

Julia Vysotskaya: What is on your menu today? Don't eat bread!

Tatiana Navka: And I try to avoid porridge.

Julia Vysotskaya: That is, you try to avoid dangerous carbohydrates.

Tatiana Navka: I also rarely eat sweets. And in childhood, she screwed up. My daughter is 13 and we have the same problems. Of course, I do not close the refrigerator from her and sometimes I bring her something tasty. But I explain: “Sashul, you understand, at the beginning you eat well, meat, fish. And then you can eat the cake as much as you want.”

Julia Vysotskaya: But she plays tennis seriously. Does this sound like your skating romance?

Tatiana Navka: Yes, very similar.

Julia Vysotskaya: Because I say: children to the theater? Children are artists? Never!!!

Tatiana Navka: Now I also say that children are athletes - never! But it's' too late.

Julia Vysotskaya: The train left?

Tatiana Navka: Unfortunately yes! It is very difficult! And why with the theater - never?

Julia Vysotskaya: So everything has changed. It used to be a heroic profession. The artist and director - they were heroes. And now you don’t need to be especially talented, you just need to get into the clip, become a media person - that’s all. And that's not fair! It's not fair! And therefore, if you have a gift, all this hurts very much and you suffer. And all this energy does not find a splash. Your mother, by the way, was with us at the play.

Tatiana Navka: Both yesterday and the day before. Twice.

Julia Vysotskaya: Andrey Sergeevich planned it that way - one performance should follow another. First "Uncle Vanya", then "Three Sisters".

Tatiana Navka: I was supposed to go too, but, as usual, I couldn't.

Julia Vysotskaya: Be sure to come.

Tatiana Navka: I have such a crazy schedule...

Julia Vysotskaya: Yes, you have skates. Tell me what are you doing there? It's so interesting!

Tatiana Navka: To be honest, we are lucky that we met. There is no time for anything. I still don't understand how I agreed to the interview. I just really wanted to get to know you.

Julia Vysotskaya: I'm very pleased. I also wanted to meet you for a long time. This is our Olympic number, and we really wanted such an Olympic beauty. Tell me what are you doing now?

Tatiana Navka: Oh, I have a lot now. Both repairs and...

Julia Vysotskaya: Oh, renovation! Got it.

Tatiana Navka: A child who needs to plan his day very clearly: school, training, training again, a dentist, another doctor, my skates. The head is swollen. All kinds of interviews, TV trips, radio trips. It all makes my life just impossible.

Julia Vysotskaya: Yes, this is such a separate work ... Tell me, does the “Ice Age” give you a second wind?

Tatiana Navka: It's great that there is such a project. This time my partner was Artem Mikhalkov. It is very pleasant to work with him. Although Artem is just an anti-sportsman. Usually people have at least some coordination, some kind of predisposition to sports ...

Julia Vysotskaya: How can you put an anti-sportsman on skates and perform such miracles with him?

Tatiana Navka: Artem stands on skates very confidently. But with coordination, with body memory ...

Julia Vysotskaya: How many hours did the training take?

Tatiana Navka: Four hours a day.

Julia Vysotskaya: Tan, well, you are a hero! I really hope that you will not lose the hunt, as in Turin. And you will not cry with happiness that the project is finally over and you will never enter the Ice Age arena again.

Tatiana Navka: Of course, at first you exhale that, thank God, the project is over. But then it becomes boring without him. But, you know, Artyom must be given his due - he has an amazing capacity for work and he tried very hard.

Julia Vysotskaya: So now you divide yourself between family life and training. What are your plans for rest? What will you be doing in the coming months. What are you planning for your happiness?

Tatiana Navka: Yes, it's just New Years.

Julia Vysotskaya: Do you meet him in Moscow?

Tatiana Navka: Always at home. I love to celebrate the New Year in Moscow. Snow, Olivier, Santa Claus, Christmas tree, President ...

Julia Vysotskaya: Santa Claus will come to you? Come on!

Tatiana Navka: Yes, Santa Claus always comes to us. We usually dress up someone of our own. We have a dedamoroz suit. I have a child up to eight years old believed in him. And then suddenly she somehow asked: “Why does Santa Claus have a shirt like Uncle Tigran’s?” (They laugh.) Therefore, Santa Claus is a sacred thing for our company.

Julia Vysotskaya: What about skiing?

Tatiana Navka: After the New Year, yes, but the New Year itself is always in Moscow.

Julia Vysotskaya: Where are you going? Where are you walking?

Tatiana Navka: Yes, everywhere.

Julia Vysotskaya: But where do you like it best? Austria, Italy… After all, from a gastronomic point of view, they are all different. Fondue in France or in Switzerland...

Tatiana Navka: Of course, in France or in Italy. Austria doesn't really appeal to me.

Julia Vysotskaya: Do you bring food from your trips?

Tatiana Navka: But how! From Italy.

Julia Vysotskaya: What are you carrying?

Tatiana Navka: Wine is obvious!

Julia Vysotskaya: Wait, wait! That's very interesting about wine.

Tatiana Navka: Wine, of course, Italian.

Julia Vysotskaya: White? Red?

Tatiana Navka: Any. I also like American wine.

Julia Vysotskaya: That is Californian... After all, wine is present in your life as an object of pleasure.

Tatiana Navka: I don't know if we can talk about it - after all, I'm an athlete. I am sometimes asked: "How many glasses of wine do you drink in a week." I answer: “Glasses or bottles?” (Laugh.)

Julia Vysotskaya: I understand you very well. This is both for the mood and for the general condition ... I'm looking at the Italians or the French. When they sit down to dinner, they always allow themselves a glass of wine.

Tatiana Navka: Yes, they have this constant ritual. In the summer I most often visit Italy. Therefore, I bring botarga, olive oil from there ...

Julia Vysotskaya: Oh, botarga! And what do you cook from botarga?

Tatiana Navka: Pasta can be cooked. Why am I telling you, you know better than me...

Julia Vysotskaya: But I'm really interested! Everyone has their own recipes and their own botarga ...

Tatiana Navka: We have one simply amazing family dish. It helps a lot if you need to cook something quickly in the evening, and there are only hungry relatives around. Moreover, it satisfies hunger and helps to lose weight. That is, you will eat and lose weight. Although botarga is a fatty dish. Here is my recipe: chop the celery, pour olive oil over it and botarga on top.

Julia Vysotskaya: And do you know how delicious it can be? These huge tomatoes are a bull's heart. Of these, you can make a thick carpaccio, a little olive oil on top, then - botarga and a little bit of chopped garlic. This is delicious!

Tatiana Navka: What else am I bringing? Botarga, sausage, cheese... What else to bring?

Julia Vysotskaya: Who what. For example, do you know what I'm taking? I ship coffee, I ship cheese, I ship ham, I ship pasta. In Italy there is one manufacturer - Moncini. No one else has this pasta. This is spaghetti, which is impossible to digest. I'm taking rice.

Tatiana Navka: From Italy? Rice?

Julia Vysotskaya: Well, yes! Risotto requires special rice. Truffles sometimes drive. But oysters, truffles - all these gourmet bourgeois things, are they close to you?! How old were you when you tried oysters?

Tatiana Navka: In adulthood.

Julia Vysotskaya: It is clear that not at the age of eight (laugh).

Tatiana Navka: By the way, I love oysters. Especially in France. Oysters, champagne are sacred.

Julia Vysotskaya: Well, yes! Bread and butter - in the morning. Then oysters and champagne.

Tatiana Navka: And in Sardinia there are things like vongole, only long ones.

Julia Vysotskaya: I know they are called cannolikki.

Tatiana Navka: Everything in Italy is delicious. I don't even know what I would say no to. For example, I am completely indifferent to shrimp. But in Italy, I eat them with pleasure. Shrimps and langoustines...

Julia Vysotskaya: Do you buy groceries in Moscow yourself?

Tatiana Navka: Well, I'm going to the market...

Julia Vysotskaya: There are lured grandmothers, grandfathers?

Tatiana Navka: Of course I have. Cottage cheese, meat ... Everything is like everyone else.

Julia Vysotskaya: What is a typical day for you? What do you eat for breakfast?

Tatiana Navka: Mostly dairy products. Cottage cheese or yogurt. Unfortunately, I can't find ricotta in Moscow. I even brought back this box of ricotta from my last trip to Italy.

Julia Vysotskaya: Yes, in a vacuum. I bring it all the time too. True, ricotta is in some stores in Moscow. You just have to ask them to honestly say whether it is fresh or not. Because this ricotta spoils very quickly.

Tatiana Navka: What else do I have for breakfast? Eggs, scrambled eggs, sausages...

Julia Vysotskaya: Coffee or tea?

Tatiana Navka: The morning, of course, starts with coffee.

Julia Vysotskaya: Do you eat three times a day? Just be honest!

Tatiana Navka: Of course not.

Julia Vysotskaya: How many? Two? One?

Tatiana Navka: It works twice. Sometimes I catch something else. But not three. Three fails.

Julia Vysotskaya: Well, at night - it's sacred. Turn on the TV, come to the kitchen...

Tatiana Navka: Especially under Vanya Urgant ...

Julia Vysotskaya: Yes Yes. You are without bread. And I also like to run something rye into the toaster so that the smell goes.

Tatiana Navka: Yes, a glass of wine and Vanya Urgant ...

Julia Vysotskaya: Wonderful! I need to know one more important thing from you. Is your kitchen the heart of your home?

Tatiana Navka: Yes, my kitchen...

Julia Vysotskaya: Whole life is in the kitchen?

Tatiana Navka: Certainly. During the previous renovation, I was looking for a kitchen for a very long time. I found it and told my designer: “I want this kitchen!” And she says to me: “Do you understand that this kitchen costs as much as all your furniture put together?” And I answer her: “It doesn't matter. I want this!" The kitchen is the most important place in my house. We have a separate living room with a large table, but there is an island in the kitchen with "chicken" chairs. And everyone swarms around this island, closer to the refrigerator.

Julia Vysotskaya: Name five things you must have in your kitchen.

Tatiana Navka: TV, fridge… What else?

Julia Vysotskaya: Here in my kitchen I must have a good bottle of champagne in the fridge, dark chocolate, coffee is right ... Music - I turn on Vakarchuk “I won’t give up without a fight”, and even at five in the morning I’m fine, despite the fact that five days before that I didn’t sleeping.

Tatiana Navka: Well, then I must have candles, a botarga (laugh), a bottle of wine, preferably both white and red (to have a choice). By the way, again, when I was doing that renovation right after the Olympics in Turin, they put a small wine refrigerator for me, and I asked: “God, why do I need such a big one?” And today I'm already "not enough chain mail." Also in my kitchen there is a special drawer for pens, notepads, letters, various documents.

Julia Vysotskaya: And the last question: how do you relax, how do you relax?

Tatiana Navka: Unfortunately, I can't leave often. Many people go on vacation with their children in autumn and spring. In our family, this is not possible. Therefore, there is a New Year, after it mountains and skiing, or, conversely, warmer climes - to swim. True, in the summer there is an opportunity to leave for all three months. And then it's the sea and Italy. And in everyday life, once a week, there is always a bath, movies, books, girlfriends - this is sacred. If not Vanya Urgant, then girlfriends (laugh). You know, I'm such a person - I try to find positive moments in everything. And if at least some hint of depression or unnecessary excitement suddenly appears, I try to get out of this state right there.

Julia Vysotskaya: I understand this very well. There, in this state it is impossible! Tanya, thank you so much. We talked heartily...

Tatiana Navka: We should have met for a long time.

Tatyana Navka, champion figure skater, socialite and wife of Dmitry Peskov, suddenly blurted out something stupid that was placed on the cover of a popular magazine, provoking a scandal and negative feedback from many readers.

Now I'll tell you.

42-year-old Tatyana Navka gave an interview to one of the publications and was photographed for the cover.
The figure skater published a photo in her microblog.
On the cover is a phrase from an interview: "A woman will not be happy without children and the second half."

This phrase was not liked by netizens, they are outraged and a quote from the interview:

“It seems to me that no matter what the work, no matter what money it brings, a woman will never be completely happy if she does not have children and a second half. When there is no loving and beloved person nearby, then the woman is inferior.

eva.ru

Female subscribers are offended by this statement and wrote a lot of angry comments to Tatyana:

“And if a woman cannot have children??? What a nonsense! She is inferior, she would have more mind, ”

"Think..think...to filter thoughts before speaking.",

“Tanya, I do not agree with your statement!!! People have different ways of life, and people have different views on what happiness is. Sometimes children are sick or alcoholics, and someone lives happily without a husband, doing what they love. People come to Earth for different experiences, and you need to learn to be grateful to God under any circumstances,”

“And if only children, well, there is no soulmate, then you are unhappy? I disagree",

“If God did not give a woman children, problems, for example, with the health of a woman or a man (I will not go into depth). So what, unhappy people? Brand? Or a woman, well, it didn’t work out, she didn’t get married. Unhappy? Brand again? And if the husband is drunk, the children are drug addicts. How is that? Happiness? I think that public people should think that they are talking to the whole country, "

“How can a woman be considered incomplete without children and a man! My God, what a stupid narrow-mindedness! Happiness can be not only in a man or in children! Sometimes happiness can only be because you wake up and breathe every day! But to give birth from different husbands is complete! ”,

“Happiness does not depend on whether you are married or not, whether you have children or not! Happiness is in everything, in your favorite cafe, in a cup of coffee, in a new handbag, in an interesting book and work. And those who think that you need to score on yourself, hang on your husband with 3 children, and here it is happiness and nothing else, such people suffer from a lack of education, ”

“Never say never) today is a husband, tomorrow he may not be ... and that you will remain an inferior woman? that's bullshit"

“How beautiful. You offended many women with your interview. Think before expressing your thoughts,”

“A controversial statement about happiness .. depending on who needs what from life !!! Not everyone’s concept of happiness is to multiply.”

I regularly buy this magazine ("Antenna") for my mother, TV programs are conveniently located there, I will have to look at the cover.

And what do you agree with more, with Tatyana's statement, or with the objections of the readers?
