Find out what you eat well. How to know if there is a voice

18.06.2019

Hello dear reader!

I have been teaching singing for quite a long time exactly those people who come and say: “I don’t hit the notes at all» . Sometimes it turned out that a person left after one lesson, having already learned to sing.

My method of learning to sing is designed for everyone. Not only for those who are capable, like a music school, but also for difficult cases too. Now you can get to know her.

Audio course " Learn to Sing Clear!»

FOR WHOM THIS COURSE: The course is the most help those who can't sing at all. About whom they say “neither voice nor hearing”, or “you don’t get into the notes at all”. This is just for you!

If you are already singing, but you sing quietly, you don’t know how to control your breathing, and the sound doesn’t suit you - you can sing while doing the exercises of the course.

If you sing but you get it, you don't get it, and you can’t always control it - you will also find the solution to these problems in the course. We will learn to sing songs, adjusting each note, and if you practice, you will stop being out of tune.

Exist simple methods to learn to sing cleanly. Do not put on an operatic voice, but for myself, with a guitar, in company. But purely, and realizing: YES, I'm doing everything right. You will forget about everything that you were told before - you will start to sing!

Why is this possible? I explain!

"Why IT'S POSSIBLE? - you ask. I didn't sing for a year (two, three, fifteen years, never at all), and then you tell me that I suddenly get drunk? Why would suddenly?

…I remember how I myself studied at a music school. We had people who sang very well. And there were several boys and girls who pulled one note on solfeggio, and categorically did not hit. One note - all seven years. They waved their hand at them, they said that they couldn’t sing and that they weren’t given it, they put them in triples and let them go in peace.
The funniest thing, as I understand it now:
Their TEACHED TO SING? No! They were told "Sing!"

So what am I up to. Not everyone can sing - at first - yes. But it's not scary.
And the opinion that “singing is so difficult” exists because you were not taught to sing. You were told to sing. And that's it. HOW to sing, HOW TO MANAGE their voice? HOW make it so hit the notes? You were not taught this. So let's finally try LEARN TO SING before trying to sing!

How to LEARN to sing instead of endlessly trying to sing?

The method is simple. What is pure singing? It's hitting the notes. That is, to control the pitch of the voice at will.

Can you imitate a low male voice now, and then imitate a child? You can, to some extent. Can you make a low sound and a high one? You can. You can not manage enough to sing cleanly. But everyone has assignments.

In the course, you will learn to control your voice - higher, lower, and how to hit the right note. This is done using special exercises: simple, sometimes funny, and leading to results. And as a result, you will learn how to hit the notes, which means - sing clean and right.

Hitting the notes is not all that will be in the know. I want to sing not only correctly, but also loudly. Quite right! I also have voice exercises. To voice sounded louder we'll learn relax the throat muscles and find their correct position. And the voice will sound.

Correct is very important breathing while singing- You “hold” the sound, it is loud, lasts a long time, sounds confident. You will learn and develop this skill by completing the course exercises.

The course includes:

  • The book "Learning to sing cleanly!"
  • CD with 10 step-by-step audio lessons, programs, exercises for independent work on each topic of the audio lesson, notes of the songs that you will learn.

The total duration of the course in mp3 is 2 hours 43 minutes.

There are 10 audio lessons in the course.

Lesson 1 - Introductory
In the first session we:

  • Making a plan for the course
  • We work with conviction. I can sing - I can't sing.
  • You will be surprised, but your beliefs about your own abilities can both help you and hinder you. And they can get in the way a lot. You need at least a calm implementation of the exercises of the course, it is possible without strong faith, but also without mental resistance. Work calmly - and then you will feel the result.
  • What is a clamped voice, and what is a relaxed one. How they sound.
  • How to relax your voice. Exercises to help you get clear, even-sounding voices.
  • 3 basic exercises to control the pitch of your voice. By learning to change the pitch of your voice smoothly and accurately, you can move on to pure singing of notes. This is the basic skill that you will not be given in any music school.

Lesson 3 - Purely sing one note
You will learn:

  • How, using the exercises of the 2nd lesson, to find the pitch of a single note and sing it cleanly.
  • How to determine if you sang a note cleanly or not. Compare the sensations of pure singing and falseness. It is very important to understand when you sing correctly and when you don't - this is the second basic skill that needs special attention.
  • 2 common mistakes of beginners, as a result of which falsehood occurs. How to avoid them.
  • What to do if you sang out of tune.

Practical conclusion: if you have learned to sing a pure one note, then you will sing two, and three, and a whole song. This is a matter of practice.
In addition, if you learn to feel whether you sing correctly or not, it will help you in other areas of music as well. Like tuning a guitar. There, after all, you also need to understand - the strings sound the same or differently.

Lesson 4 - We go from note to note and develop voice coordination
You will learn:

  • Having hit one note, move the voice a short distance up and down - “walk” from note to note in small steps.
  • You will begin to master the range of voice in which you can continue to sing songs.
  • Expand the range of sounds you can sing.
  • It is good to control the voice in this range by learning the exercise.

Lesson 6 - Singing wide jumps. What to do if the notes are not nearby
After completing all the tasks in this lesson, you will:

  • Learn to sing common melody moves in songs - by scale, by triad, and by jumping through several notes.
  • Completely master hitting the notes. As in the neighboring sounds, and in the case when the sounds are far from each other. So, you can really sing songs, cleanly falling into all sounds.
  • You will learn how to immediately hit a high note (sometimes there are problems with this: a low note is immediately sung cleanly and a high one is not).

Lesson 7 - Sing loudly, clearly and beautifully
When you can already sing, hitting the notes, we will start working on the sound quality:

  • Let's learn how to take the right breath so that the voice sounds long and even.
  • Learn to sing louder with the help of special technique. You will feel the result of this technique as soon as you try it.
  • Let's increase the clarity and certainty of the voice. In songs, how well you pronounce the words and direct the sound is important.

Lesson 8 - Singing the first song

  • Let's learn the melody of the song "Kalinka-Malinka", and sing it cleanly.
  • Let's learn a song with guitar accompaniment (if you play the guitar, you can learn the chords and play it yourself, if not, sing along with the recording in the exercises).

Lesson 9 - "Hey, let's go!"

  • Let's learn the melody of the song "Hey, let's go!".

Lesson 10 - “There was a birch in the field”

  • Let's learn the melody of the song "There was a birch in the field."
  • Let's learn a song with guitar accompaniment.

The general principles for learning songs that you want to sing later on your own remain the same. And you can take one of your favorite songs and, just like in the last lessons of the course, learn it and sing it.

Changes

“... The fourth training is over, the task has also been partially written down. Suddenly I began to realize that I perceive any music somehow differently. Especially singing. Now it has structure, I'm starting to feel where the tone goes up, where it goes down. Where the transition is smooth, where sharp. I kind of have something to cling to, now I remember my own voice. For the purity of the experiment, he took the same album "45" and again tried to sing along. Happened! Where I used to bass helplessly, I suddenly realized that I could hit a note in the area, say, the 5th fret of the 5th string. There is no certainty yet, but it is already possible to get there. In general, it turns out to pronounce whole phrases quite similarly, and accuracy increases from repetition.

A velvety or sonorous voice, the ability to touch a nerve with the help of his singing is a true skill. Some people have this gift by nature, others need to study long and hard in order to get even a little closer to the ideal. It also happens that a person has an ear for music, but the vocal cords are not sufficiently developed and the singing is not what we would like. Such people will be helped by long and hard training on the development of their voice. After all, the vocal cords are also muscles that can be developed and trained.

The main thing to remember when starting voice development exercises is the need for proper breathing. That's where you need to start training. After all, if a person breathes incorrectly, the strength of his voice will never reach the desired level. To learn how to breathe properly, you can try walking around the room, counting your inhalations and exhalations. On the first two steps - inhale, on the second - exhale. But this is only in the first days of classes. Gradually, you need to increase the intervals between inhalation and exhalation up to ten steps. The following exercise is also useful: you need to stand up straight, put your feet shoulder-width apart, and join your hands in the lock and raise them up. Bending back, inhale, and as you exhale, lean forward. When tilting, simultaneously with exhalation, pronounce various vowels: "a-a-a", "u-u-u", "o-o-o", "i-i-i", "e-e-e". Regular performance of these simple exercises is the first step in how to develop a voice for singing. It is advisable to perform these and subsequent exercises in front of a mirror in order to monitor how the diaphragm works.

For those who have set themselves the goal of how to develop a voice for singing at home, it is worth moving on to the following exercises - pronunciation of syllables. It is best to use such sound combinations that contain both voiced and voiceless consonants in combination with vowels. For example: thpi, thpe, thpa, thpo, thpu. If at first it is difficult to remember, then you can write them in advance on a piece of paper and read aloud. Also tongue twisters help to strengthen the vocal cords. There are a lot of them, so you can choose the ones that you like the most. For example: "Beavers wander into the cheese forests. Beavers are brave, but kind to beavers." It is best to find tongue twisters that contain different sounds and sound combinations. You need to pronounce them at a different pace: starting slowly and gradually increasing.

It is useful to read aloud various works: both poetry and prose. At the same time, you need to monitor diction and clearly pronounce each letter, learn to put logical stresses in the right places. It is better to do this by recording on a tape recorder so that you can listen to your voice and understand what mistakes are made in the process of reading. At first, you can read literature aloud for ten to fifteen minutes, but gradually increase the time to an hour or more.

Singing directly helps to develop the voice, starting from chants, ending with the performance of the musical works themselves. The chants can be very different: the same syllables that were spoken aloud, but hummed in a different key. Start low and end as high as you can. This way you can define your range. Sometimes normal breathing through the nose helps to lower the voice. Also for this purpose, a simple exercise called buzzing will help. You need to press your chin to your chest and just make a sound: "zh-zh-zh". If you perform buzzing every day, you can notice the result quite quickly. So, knowing these simple tricks on how to develop a voice for singing at home, you can make your voice more sonorous and strong.

Perhaps in the shower or in the car you sing like a rock star, but sometimes it's hard to objectively evaluate your own vocal abilities. It turns out that it is quite possible to evaluate yourself if you learn to listen and hear correctly. Record yourself on a tape recorder and pay attention to your tone, pitch, and ability to control your voice. The good news is that almost anyone can learn to sing well. Follow these simple guidelines to develop your vocal abilities.

Steps

Part 1

How to evaluate your vocal abilities

Evaluate the overall tone and timbre of the voice. Timbre is the general characteristic of the sound of a voice. If you hit all the notes, but the tone or timbre doesn't match the song, then the performance won't sound good. Pay attention to how clearly and consistently you emphasize vowel sounds, how fully you use your voice register and how you reproduce rhythmic nuances (adapt your voice to different styles of performance).

    • When evaluating the timbre, pay attention to the softness or hardness, sharpness or smoothness, strength or weakness of the voice.

Annabeth Nowitzki, private vocal coach:“Despite the fact that some people sing better than others by nature, this skill can be developed and improved. If you really like to sing, then approach the matter wisely and work on yourself regularly.

Use your range and technique daily. Some people naturally control their voice better than others, but practice is good for every singer. Keep learning to control your breath, develop your voice and ear, and find the style of music that best suits your tone.

    • Musical talent often develops in parallel with musical talent. Get to know vocal techniques and learn how to use your voice as an instrument. The more you know about the various components of correct execution, the more effective your practice will be.
  1. Attend vocal lessons. Finding someone to teach you how to use your voice as an instrument will improve your singing a lot. Choose a tutor who will teach you not only how to hit the notes correctly, but who will also be able to develop the general technique of performance. A good teacher will tell you how to stand, breathe, move and read notes while performing vocal parts.

    • If your friends are taking vocal lessons, ask them for recommendations. You can also rely on the feedback of the choir leader, local groups and ensembles.
    • Many educators give a trial lesson for free or at a reduced price. Attend trial lessons with several teachers to find the best option. Did the teacher encourage you? Did you talk for most of the class? Focused only on the voice or also paid attention to the technique of performance?
  2. Learn to accept constructive criticism. If you have a great singing voice, you will already know this, as well as the reverse. Just as a beginner guitarist has to go through an awkward stage when he is still not good at the instrument and does not always hit the strings, so singers should work hard to improve their voice. Such skills are not given to a person from birth, but are acquired through hard work.

    • If someone told you that you can't sing, but you have a strong desire to learn, then keep working hard on your voice. Do not listen to ill-wishers. There are people who will never learn to sing, no matter how hard they try. If this is the case, then you will already know about it.
  3. Enroll in a music school or local choir to practice singing and develop your voice. Working in a choir is a great way to improve your vocal skills. You will know the opinion of the choir leader and other participants about your abilities, and you will also get the chance to work in a team. Often, inexperienced performers are more comfortable singing along with other people and not becoming the center of critical attention.

Continue to study and practice regularly to improve your technique. If you decide that you don't have an innate ability but love to sing, then keep working. Your instructor will help you get the most out of your abilities. The joy of singing is available to everyone.

  • Musical deafness doesn't mean you have a bad voice, but it limits your ability to tune your voice to a particular song or tune.
  • Similarly, difficulty in trying to control your singing voice does not mean you have musical deafness. Good performance depends on many factors. It's possible that you just need to work harder.
  • Get the opinion of people you trust. Like singing in front of friends and family, play your voice recordings with your closest people to get their opinion. If your friend sings well, then ask him about the technical aspects. If the listener is not familiar with vocal techniques, then find out the first reaction.

    • Choose people who will give you an honest answer and whose opinion you trust. It is better not to contact a person who will praise or criticize you in any case.
  • Sing in front of other people to get an outsider's opinion. If you need constructive criticism, try singing in front of an audience. Arrange a small concert for friends and family. Perform an open mic, take part in a talent show or go to karaoke. Find a suitable place and sing.

    • Choose the right space. Your voice will sound better in a large room with high ceilings than in a carpeted basement.
    • When you have finished singing, ask the audience for their sincere opinion. It is important to understand that some people may spare your feelings, while others will be overly critical. Consider not one specific opinion, but an average assessment of your abilities.
    • Another way to find out the opinion of the public is to try to sing at the train station or in the mall. It is better to use a microphone and a small amplifier. Find out if passers-by will stop to listen to you. Be sure to obtain all necessary permits from the owner or administration of the selected location. Performances in some venues may require special permits from local authorities.
