And Vlad was taught to play the piano by his father, known in show business as a musician and producer. Topalov continued to conquer keyboards within the walls of the art school.
The future singer Vlad Topalov had a chance to perform on tour from the age of 5. Then he auditioned for participation in Fidget and became part of the team. As part of Fidget, he toured throughout our country and abroad, performing at concerts. 10 years of participation in the dance group brought him many awards. This experience was very useful for the subsequent career of the singer.
During his school years, he created his own dance group, but the group did not last long. This did not upset Vlad at all - on the contrary, he had already decided for himself exactly what he wanted to achieve in life.
Vlad chose the path of a pop artist and in 2000, together with Sergey Lazarev, who also performed in Fidget, performed his first musical composition "Bell" from a French musical. Young people performed this song in front of Topalov Sr. at his birthday celebration. The performance was to the liking of all the guests present, and especially the eminent producer.
Soon Topalov Sr. asked to improve this song - several arrangements were made in this way. And soon she appeared on radio stations, becoming a real hit. And Topalov and Lazarev united in the Smash !! group, which in 2001 became interested in an American music company that offered the group's soloists a good contract. Then the group started publishing their first album and filming their first video.
The first video clip for the musical composition of the group appeared in 2002. He began to enjoy great popularity. Following this song, two more new compositions came out - “Prayer” and “Freeway”, which the listeners also really liked.
The group's popularity grew day by day. This was also facilitated by the victory of young people on the "New Wave" in Latvia. After that, they were talked about all over the country. The first disc of the group was released in 2003 - it became very popular not only in our country, but also in other countries of the world. The second album was not long in coming, which was released in 2004. Simultaneously with its release, rumors arose that Topalov and Lazarev wanted to break up, because somewhere they disagreed. Soon Lazarev left the project. Kirill Turichenko from Ukraine took his place. Vlad, having performed with Cyril at several concerts, decided to sing solo.
Vlad, together with famous producers Bokarev and Mshensky, began working on his first album in 2006. The record, released at the end of April 2006, had a characteristic acoustic sound, very different from the previous work of the famous duo.
To record the second disc, Vlad went to Miami in 2008. But the second album did not receive the expected popularity. Therefore, Topalov decided to try his hand at acting and performed in the play "The result is obvious", which was a huge success. And in 2011, Topalov took part in the film "Inadequate People" playing a small role. He also participated in the filming of the series "Deffchonki".
