Holding an event

I'm a patriot. I am Russian air
I love the Russian land.
I believe that nowhere in the world
I won't find another one like it.
N. Kogan

It is with these words of Nikolai Kogan that I would like to start our conversation: “What does it mean to be a patriot today?”

Student: let's look at Dahl's explanatory dictionary: “A patriot is one who loves his fatherland, is devoted to his people, is ready for sacrifices and deeds in the name of the interests of his Motherland.

Teacher: Let's try to understand our thoughts, feelings, attitudes towards this concept. Therefore, today I invite you to the free microphone.

Sample student responses

Student 1.“A patriot is a person who loves his homeland, is ready to defend it, but not necessarily with weapons in his hands. Knowing and accepting the history of your country, no matter how they talk about it, is important, and especially today.”

Student 2. “A patriot in my understanding is a person who works and is socially active, builds his future, linking it only with his Fatherland. He will do much more than a person who is ready to defend the prestige of the country in words. This is much more difficult than just talking about love for the motherland. This is true patriotism."

Student 3.“Being a patriot in our time is very difficult, there is a lot of temptation around - the pursuit of money, leading to an escape from Russia. To be a patriot means to be the master of your country, not a guest. In case of danger, be able to protect her, handle her gifts with care”

Student 4.“Unfortunately, sometimes patriotism is interpreted incorrectly. On the screen, we see groups of "skins" who, with a firm conviction that they are right, beat innocent people of a different nationality to death. “Russia for Russians!”, “Let’s cleanse Russia of blacks!” - they shout ... It is wonderful, of course, that people have a desire to ensure that a larger percentage of the country's inhabitants are Russians ... But this does not mean that others should be exterminated! There is a sea of ways... Violence is the worst of them... You know, a lie always cuts the ear... Therefore, it is disgusting and furious to me that they cover themselves with the word "patriot".

Student 5.“Probably few of us asked ourselves this question. And why? Apparently, we are so busy with everyday worries and problems that we are not up to it. What is the most important thing for our parents now? Give us children a good education. And the children go crazy for American films and proudly declare: "We are not patriots." And not all parents will be scared when they hear this phrase. Or maybe there is nothing to be afraid of? It is still unknown what the teenager wanted to say. "I don't like my country" or "I want to live in a rich and prosperous country." And yet it is safe to say that the Russian people are patriots. Not for show, no"

Student 6.“The first thing that comes to mind when people talk about patriotism is America. Those who loudly declare to the whole world that they are patriots are the Americans. Patriotism has become the hallmark of the United States. Americans make films on patriotic themes, they write about it in the press”

Student 7.“I do not agree with such conclusions,” in my opinion, this is abnormal or pathological patriotism. The bombing of Iraq because of the weapons of mass destruction allegedly located there and Yugoslavia because of nothing at all - they didn’t like the president - these are all the consequences of their "patriotism". Their "patriotism" has nothing to do with real Patriotism, so I think we have nothing to learn from the Americans.

Student 6.“We must look for flaws not in others - in ourselves. We must not criticize and hate someone else's, but make our own better"

Pupil 8“A true patriot, in my opinion, should at least know the history of his country. How can you love your Motherland without knowing anything about it?! Is it possible to consider people who allegedly fight for the purity of the Slavic race, they don’t know the history of this very race, it’s written on their faces: aggression and the desire to fight no matter who. Here is a statement that can be read on the fence "Beat the Jews" - this is some regular "patriot" calling us. And, probably, it did not occur to him that knowledge of his native language is included in the list of requirements for a true patriot. And a true patriot will not yell at every corner about his passionate love for the motherland, he will simply silently do his job, thereby really helping the country.

Student 10.“And I think that knowledge of state symbols is also a manifestation of patriotism. We did a little sociological research at school.

Presentation. Slide #3. Based on the opinions of students in our school, the results were as follows:

  1. 98% of respondents know what is depicted on the state emblem;
  2. 100% know the colors of the national flag and their location;
  3. 95% could name the first verse of the national anthem;
  4. Feelings experienced when they see or hear state symbols - pride, admiration, sympathy
  5. The majority of respondents have a positive attitude towards the campaigns for the distribution of ribbons (three-colored) with national symbols.

Teacher: The conversation can go on for a long time ... There will always be pros and cons, there will be other interpretations of the problem. In the classical sense, the word "patriotism" has never changed its meaning.

Presentation. Slide number 4.

Student: Let us recall the words of A.S. Pushkin:

“I swear on my honor that in the world I would not want to change the Fatherland or have a different history than the history of our ancestors.” Let us turn to the history of our ancestors: in the war against Napoleon, patriots died for Russia, millions of patriots died in the Great Patriotic War ... They were all ready for a feat for the sake of their native land ...

Presentation. Slide number 5.(a bell ringing sounds, and the student speaks words about A. Nevsky against the background of this sound).

Student: Prince A. Nevsky lived only 43 years old, he became a prince at the age of 16, at 20 he defeated the Swedes in the battle on the Neva River, and at 22 he won a famous victory on the ice of Lake Peipsi. And his name was glorified. And then, with his cautious policy, he saved Rus', allowed her to get stronger, recover from ruin. He is the founder of the revival of Russia!

Student: my homeland, my Russia in those people that she can be proud of ...

Presentation. Slide number 6. The music of Tchaikovsky sounds, against the background of it, words about N.I. Vavilov are read

“Let's go to the fire, we will burn, but we will not give up our convictions” - these words belong to the great Russian scientist Nikolai Ivanovich Vavilov. His whole life and work were a confirmation of these words. The world famous botanist, geneticist, traveler and researcher, Nikolai Ivanovich in 1929. become an academician of the USSR. He is the first president of the All-Union Agricultural Academy of the USSR. The purpose of his life was science. He never forgot that he was a citizen of his country, even when he was arrested in 1940 and accused of leading an anti-Soviet counter-revolutionary organization. He perceived the Motherland as the only thing that cannot be bought, sold, or changed, although he was offered the best laboratories in the world. In prison, he continues to work hard, writes the book "History of the Development of World Agriculture", more than a hundred lectures on genetics. While on death row, Vavilov wrote: “Having extensive experience and knowledge in the development of crop production, I would be happy to give myself completely to my Motherland.” He died of starvation in 1943 in the Saratov prison...

Teacher: Examples of true patriotism can be continued ...

Presentation. Slide number 7.

My village above the sky is clear
Do you remember the terrible battles?
Under the blue, under the obelisk
Your defenders are lying.

72 soldiers of the Soviet Army died a heroic death in January 1943, freeing Livenka from the fascist invaders. These are soldiers and officers of the 48th Guards Red Banner Orders of Suvorov and Kutuzov of the Krivoy Rog Rifle Division.

Presentation. Slide #8.

On all fronts of the Great Patriotic War, about 2,500 Liven soldiers fought. 613 did not return.

Student: We can read about the exploits of Russian people in books, ask veterans, or visit a museum.

Presentation. Slide number 9. There is a museum in our village. The main direction of our museum's work is military-patriotic. Most of the expositions are related to the military exploits of fellow countrymen and the military period in the history of the village.

Presentation. Slide number 10. From the archives of the museum: “We have before us a photograph of Ivan Ivanovich Ponamarev, a former sailor of the Northern Fleet. After being wounded, he was assigned to an infantry division. I didn’t think, I didn’t guess that he would have to be the first, before the advanced units, with the joyful news of the imminent liberation, to enter his native village. And it happened like this. The three of us went to investigate. The commander of the group Drobyazko, who knew the German language perfectly, radio business, the charter of the fascist army. Checkered German raincoats with deep hoods hid soldier earflaps and gray overcoats from prying eyes. And here is the native village of Livenka. The house where I was born and raised. Only the sailor did not recognize him at once. The night is dark. And from a distance it seems that the house is uninhabited. The windows are lined with bags. Come closer, knock. Nobody opened it for a long time. Finally the bolts rattled and the door opened. We met him with concern. They did not recognize the voice, and a small kaganets made from a cartridge case illuminated only a small circle of the table. German raincoats aroused suspicion and fear.

Father, answer. It's me - your son Ivan!

I didn’t die, dad, I’m alive, here I am.

Shuffling steps were heard, the father, screwing up his eyes, went up to the speaker, ran his hand along his cheek and said:

Right! Ivan, the mole is in place. But suddenly he frowned:

So what are you? Sold to the Germans? he raised his voice.

No, dad, we are our own, Soviet. We have a task.

Well, if so, it means a son! - Father said still warily.

And only in the morning, when, at the signal of the scouts, the advancing troops captured the Palatovka station and liberated Livenka, did the father believe that his son Ivan, a sailor from the North Sea, was alive.

For his military career, Ivan Ivanovich was awarded by the government 9 medals, among them: the medal "For Military Merit" and the medal "For the Defense of Stalingrad", as well as the Order of the Red Star and the Order of the Patriotic War 2nd degree.

Now our countryman is not with us, but we cannot forget about his role in the liberation of the village. After all, it was thanks to the skillful actions of the reconnaissance group that the Soviet troops drove the enemy out of the village with the least losses. And we must not forget our countrymen.

The poet B. Kovtun has these lines:

We are not full of bread alone!
And if there is emptiness in the soul -
We will also be forgotten
There will be no cross over us.

Teacher: Memory, memory, memory... it is like bonfires in the snow, which sanctify and sanctify, warming the hearts of the older generation, and beckoning young people who go out on their own roads.

Student: And who keeps this memory, who completes the material, is engaged in educational work? Can these people be considered patriots of their small homeland? Who are they? To understand this, we invited the director of the museum, Alexander Vasilyevich Kononov, to our meeting. (Speech by the director of the museum Kononov A.V.)

Presentation. Slide number 11, 12. photos of history teachers - founders of the museum.

Student: Let's stop at the stand "Warriors - Internationalists". In one of the photographs, my father is Sergey Fedorovich Kirillov. He performed his military duty in Afghanistan. I turned to him with a question: “Dad, what do you think, serving in the Army is patriotism. Indeed, today many young people, having received a diploma of higher education and found a decent job, do not want to serve in the Army? There are, of course, those who are simply afraid that they may return from there disabled. Do you think they are not patriots? - (video or possible presence of the participant at the class hour)

Student: our group addressed the head of the cadet class, Sergei Dmitrievich Adamov, with the same question. Here are his thoughts:

“In my opinion, military service is not an ideal indicator of patriotism. By patriotism, I mean the activity of a person for the good of the Motherland, regardless of profession or position. How effectively it works depends on the activity of the entire state. Therefore, patriotism is the full-blooded return of human activity for the benefit of its people and state. History knows the confirmation of this. Take, for example, the people's militia during the Great Patriotic War. Some of the people from its composition were not military personnel at all, but this did not prevent them from showing unprecedented courage and heroism. Is this not a manifestation of patriotism?

And those who work in the rear for 20-22 hours a day, giving the front much-needed ammunition, medicines, uniforms. Peasants swollen with hunger, but supplying food to the front.

They did not serve in the army, they were not military personnel, but how can you blame them for the lack of patriotism?

Therefore, if a young man has received a diploma of higher education, works with full dedication for people, he can be considered a patriot for his country. Even if he did not serve in the army, the language will not turn to accuse him of lack of patriotism.

Another thing is the defense of the motherland. In this case, military service is indeed the main component of the patriotic education of a person. The young man must overcome the fear of the army, and the state must take care of this - not allowing "hazing". And they can make a disabled person on the street or in the alley. So why don't we go out now?"

I think that at a crucial moment for their homeland, every citizen should stand up for his people and state. For his effective protection, the young man must complete military service. Here the state must take a tough stance. And in this case, refusal to serve can indeed be seen as a lack of patriotism.”

Let's make an associative series

"Patriot, who is he?"

  1. Everyone who loves the place where he was born and raised
  2. The one who loves and does not forget his mother, his home
  3. Who proudly realizes that there is no better country on Earth than ours.
  4. The nature of Russia is fabulously rich. The one who not only loves, but also protects nature.
  5. Ready to defend the Fatherland
  6. Defends the prestige of his country
  7. Knows state symbols
  8. I am ready to give all my strength and abilities to my homeland
  9. A patriot is one who decorates the Motherland with his labor
  10. Builds his future, linking it only with his fatherland
  11. Knows his native language
  12. He knows the history of his country, is proud of his ancestors.

Teacher:

Patriots are not born, they are made. And no matter how much anyone talks about patriotism, all these are words. Truth in the soul. As Sergei Yesenin said, “Let us be poor, let us be cold, hungry, but we have a soul, we’ll add from ourselves - the Russian soul.” It was with such thoughts that the anthem to their small homeland “Livensky Waltz” was created by our countrywoman Nadezhda Andreevna Bityutskaya (students sing a song).

On the eve of February 23, Defender of the Fatherland Day, it's time to talk about the patriotic education of youth. What do the concepts of "patriot" and "patriotism" mean today, for example, for modern schoolchildren? The article contains the opinions of the guys themselves.

If for you such concepts as “patriot”, “patriotism”, “feeling of patriotism” are an empty phrase or cause irony, irritation, etc., try to think about such an unusual question: is it profitable to be a patriot in our time?
This question is especially appropriate to ask schoolchildren, among whom there are many cynics, in order to set them up to think about a difficult topic. And you can do this on the eve of the class hour or any other event dedicated to fostering a sense of patriotism.

Such questions can attract the guys to a serious and constructive discussion. At first glance, the question "Is it profitable to be a patriot in our time?" seems rather strange, but it is precisely as a result of such an approach (as practice shows) that even a cynic can be forced to think and express his "considered" opinion on this matter.
It would be nice to arrange a competition for the best answer from the point of view of the guys to this strange question. Let everyone share their opinion.

To the questions “What is patriotism manifested in?” and “Is it profitable to be a patriot in our time?” The students gave very interesting answers. After generalization and systematization, they look like this.

  • Patriotism is manifested in respect for one's country, for its past, for the memory of ancestors; in the interest in the history of their country, studying the experience of previous generations. And this leads to the clarification of the causes of many events, which in turn gives knowledge. Those who are armed with knowledge are protected from many failures and mistakes, do not waste time correcting them, go further and overtake in their development those who "step on the same rake." Knowing your history, the experience of previous generations helps you navigate the world, calculate the consequences of your own actions, and feel confident. At all times, people relied on the experience of their predecessors. Without a historical past, neither the present nor the future is possible. According to many classics, "Oblivion of the past, historical oblivion is fraught with spiritual devastation both for an individual and for all people." It is the comprehension of the failures and mistakes of the historical past that leads to the achievements and merits of the present, helps to survive in difficult times. Therefore, it is beneficial to be a patriot.

  • Patriotism is manifested in the ability to value and protect one's homeland, the desire to change it for the better, to make it cleaner, kinder, more beautiful. Clean, repaired roads, for example, are nicer and more comfortable to walk on. Shoes last longer, less likely to fall. It is also much more pleasant to deal with decent people, and not with boors and scoundrels. It is nice to enjoy the beauty of nature and human creations, which are not at all difficult to preserve. If a person learns to ennoble himself and the territory surrounding him, life will become happier, psychological comfort will appear, which will allow him to spend his mental strength more efficiently, enjoy life and achieve a lot. Therefore, it is beneficial to be a patriot. True patriotism is manifested in the ability to be a moral person, creating beauty and goodness around him.

  • Patriotism is manifested in the ability to be loyal and devoted to one's country, one's cause, one's family, one's views and ideas, one's dream. A patriot does not shout at every corner about his passionate love for the motherland, he silently does his job well, remains true to his principles, ideals and universal values. Thus, he really helps not only his country, but also himself. A person who studied hard, gaining knowledge, and as a result of this got a good job, became socially active, built his future, created a full-fledged family, works honestly - did much more for his country than someone who walks around with slogans, chanting for patriotism and in words defends the prestige of their country. People who do not have a sense of patriotism have no future. They will destroy themselves, because they do not develop and do not have a strong “core”. This is the law of life. Patriotism is needed for personal development, for survival. Therefore, it is beneficial to be a patriot.

I really want everyone to understand the following: Patriotism as a political, social and moral principle reflects the attitude of a person (citizen) to his country. This attitude is manifested in concern for the interests of one's fatherland, in readiness for self-sacrifice for it, in loyalty and devotion to one's country, in pride in its social and cultural achievements, in sympathy for the suffering of one's people and in condemnation of the social vices of society, in respect for the historical past. his country and the traditions inherited from it, in readiness to subordinate his interests to the interests of the country, in an effort to defend his country, his people. A patriot is one who conscientiously works for the good of his country and encourages others to do this, who helps his fellow citizens to improve. If you don't care about others, you run the risk of being alone."

If you are asked: "What does it mean to be a patriot?", you will probably be surprised, because we all remember from school that a patriot is a person who loves his homeland and is always ready to defend it. In childhood, almost everyone thought so, but they represented such actions somehow abstractly. Growing up, many of us understand the concept of "patriotism" in somewhat different ways.

What does it mean to be a patriot? This is a rather difficult question. Here is what the encyclopedic dictionary tells us about this: "Patriotism is love for one's country, native land and its cultural environment."

Unfortunately, many young people often confuse devotion to the motherland with nationalism. After all, in fact, nationalism is the activity of a certain part of people who often fight with non-existent enemies. Claims that one nationality has superiority over another have nothing to do with the concept of "patriotism". A nation is formed not by individual citizens, but by peoples. Unity at the level of the nation is based on solidarity, both ethical and inter-ethnic.

How to cultivate patriotism?

Some believe that love for the people and the motherland are instinctive feelings. Others - that the innate feeling of patriotism does not exist as such, it can only be developed in a person. As always, the truth is somewhere in the middle. Each person is not born with a “blank slate” that you just take and fill out. In Soviet times, a sense of patriotism was imposed on children from the cradle. Love for the motherland at that time was considered more important than love for parents, wife and children. Propaganda of the patriotic spirit could be found everywhere: in the cinema, at work, and even on the streets. But were all those born in the Soviet Union patriots? Outwardly, people tried to look like devoted citizens of the country, but there were only a few patriots in their hearts.

An even sadder example is Nazi Germany. At that time, instead of citizens, sacredly devoted to the state, there was only a pliable biomass in it.

So maybe the point is that the feeling of complete unity with the motherland cannot be imposed? can be awakened, but not created artificially. What it means to be a patriot, everyone decides for himself. People also come to this in different ways: some through art, others through religion, others through history, and others after serving in the army. In general, how many people - so many ways.

Of course, the child must be introduced to the history, literature and culture of his state. Only in this way can he determine what it means to be a patriot for him. Because most people define the word "patriotism" ambiguously. The most popular responses from citizens are:

Love to motherland;

Defense of the Fatherland;

loyalty to the country;

Compliance with laws.

They are probably all right. All of these concepts in the complex and outline a distinct image of a patriot. Although, first of all, love for one's land should live in the heart.

If your soul responds when the national anthem is played, if you sincerely cheer for the national sports team, even when mediocre players play in it, if you are far outside your country, but sing a lullaby to your child in your native language, know that you are a real patriot and a worthy resident not only of his state, but of the whole planet!

Option number 1.

Introduction

“Patriotism always supports your country and your government when it deserves it,” said Mark Twain. Patriotism is love and respect for the country and the desire to improve it. The people must unite with the government and other institutions to work in this direction.

Patriotism fades with time

Over time, patriotism disappears. Today, patriotism is hardly found among the younger generation. This is because people these days are too caught up in their lives. They also become more and more selfish. A selfish person is one who always thinks of himself and keeps his interests above everyone and those around him. Patriotism is love for one's own country. A man who is too self-absorbed and who is of great importance to himself and his needs can never be a patriot. Increasing competition these days has also contributed a lot to this. Everyone is busy earning money to make their life more comfortable and better than those of others. In such a scenario, it is hardly worth thinking about anything else. These days, loving the country and serving the country is an almost forgotten concept. Instead of working to improve their country and contribute to its development, young people today migrate to other countries in search of a better way of life. If people's thinking had been the same about 100 years ago, they would never have united and fought for the freedom of the country. In this situation, they would only be looking for their own selfish motives.

True Patriot vs False Patriot

Today there are many people who really love and respect their country, and some are just pretending. A true patriot is one who is dedicated to serving his people. At first, he is interested in his country and compatriots and is ready to sacrifice everything for the sake of improving his country. A false patriot is one who claims to love his country and shows that he is a patriot by being in public. However, he does this for his own benefit and does not actually possess these feelings.

Patriotism versus nationalism

The terms nationalism and patriotism are often used interchangeably. However, there is a difference between them. Patriotism means being proud of your nation for its good points and working to improve it. On the other hand, nationalism means being proud of one's people, regardless of their positive and negative points. While patriotism is good, nationalism is seen as irrational and vicious.

A sense of patriotism is required for the improvement and development of the country. It also brings people of the same country closer together and helps them experience the love and joy of caring for each other.

Composition on the topic "Patriotism".

Option number 2.

Conclusion
Introduction

Patriotism is one of the purest feelings in the world. A patriot selflessly treats his country. He keeps the interests and welfare of his country ahead of his own. He is ready to sacrifice a lot for the sake of his country without thinking twice.

Patriotism is a virtue that everyone should have

Our country is also called our motherland and we should love it as we love our mother. Those who feel the same love and devotion for their country as they feel for their mother and family are known to be true patriots. Patriotism is a virtue that every person should possess. A country full of patriots is certainly a better place to live than one where people fight each other in the name of religion, caste, creed and other issues. A place where people have a collective interest and mission will surely have less conflict. This is why everyone should have the dignity of patriotism:

Support for your country
When everyone strives to create a nation strong in all respects, there is no way that the country will not develop and develop. Patriots put the interests of the country ahead of their own and work with dedication to improve it.

Maintaining peace and harmony
A good nation is one where peace and harmony are maintained at all times. People have a sense of brotherhood, helping and supporting each other. It is known that the feeling of patriotism contributes to the feeling of brotherhood among their compatriots.

Working for a Common Purpose
Patriots work towards a common goal, which is to improve their country. When everyone moves towards a common goal or mission, it is possible to achieve it.

No selfish motives
Patriots selflessly work for their country without any individual interests. If everyone has a sense of patriotism and does not think about satisfying his individual interest, the country will certainly benefit.

No corruption
If political leaders have a sense of patriotism, they will work well for the welfare of the country. If government officials and other citizens of a country are determined to serve the nation, rather than earn quick money or get quick favors for themselves, the level of corruption will fall.

Patriotism should not turn into chauvinism

Being a patriot is a great virtue. We must love and respect our country and serve it in any way we can. The positives of having a sense of patriotism, shared above, show how it can help a country prosper and grow. However, some people take this love for their country to a new level. Excessive love for one's country and the belief that your country is superior and important is called chauvinism. Chauvinists' strong belief in the ideologies of their country and the irrational belief in the superiority of their people creates a feeling of hatred for others. This often provokes conflicts and wars between countries, thereby violating peace and harmony.

There have been several cases in the past where chauvinism has led to unnecessary conflicts turning into riots. There is a very thin line between patriotism and chauvinism. While patriotism is healthy, chauvinism is fanatical and irrational. People must ensure that their loyalty and love for their country does not turn into chauvinism over time.

Conclusion

Love for one's homeland is the purest form of love. A person who is ready to sacrifice his interests for his country deserves respect. Every country in the world needs more people who have this feeling.

Necessary technical means and visibility

A class hour using the described materials is held in an office equipped with tables and chairs necessary for the number of participants and arranged for group work. The teacher will need:

    patriotic videos;

    a cluster prepared on the board, printouts of similar clusters for each group of students;

    handout: "words - hints" to create a cluster for each group of students;

    PC with speakers;

handout for reflection: support schemes for compiling reviews - syncwines.

Work with these materials can be carried out with a combination of frontal, individual and group forms of organizing a lesson (it is most effective to combine students into groups).

Class time course:

    Organizing time.

Greetings , creating a favorable work environment.

Remember the poem by N.A. Nekrasov "The Poet and the Citizen":

You may not be a poet, but you must be a citizen,

What is a citizen?

Patronymic worthy son ...

Do you think that the concept of "citizen" used by N.A. Nekrasov and the modern concept of "patriot" are the same? I propose to answer this question.

Today at the classroom hour we are considering a very important topic for every person and citizen: "What does it mean to be a patriot?".

II. Actualization. Formulation of the purpose of the classroom.

The key concepts of today's class hour are "Motherland", "patriotism", "civil activity".

Let's remember what we know about our country:

What was the name of our country in the past? (Rus, Russian Empire, RSFSR, USSR)

What is the name of our country now? (Russian Federation or Russia) this name appeared in 1991, it is enshrined in the current Constitution of the Russian Federation, adopted in 1993.

What does federation mean? (in case of difficulty, it should be said that we will get to know this concept better during the lesson).

Now look again at the topic of our class hour, what do you think we will talk about today? (about the motherland, love for it, devotion, patriotism, civic engagement.)

III. Presentation of the theme of the classroom.

Let's start by discussing what is for you motherland?

A cluster is depicted on the board, which is filled in by the class teacher as the students' answers are received.

(Didactic material No. 1 ). Cluster example:

land of ancestors

The place where the person lives

MOTHERLAND

The place where you were born

A place where one feels comfortable

Emotional actualization of the topic occurs with the help of a video fragment - the song "Where the Motherland Begins". Video demonstration.

Do you agree with the poet? Do I need to add something to the cluster?

Our Motherland is a federation. By federation we mean a union of equal members of a single whole.

Now let's move on to the concept patriot».

Emotional actualization of the topic by watching a video clip (demonstration of the video clip "One eccentric ...")

Follow-up discussion questions:

1) Is it enough to be born in one place or another to be considered a patriot? 2) Who can you call a patriot at the moment?

Patriot- a person who benefits the Motherland, stands up for her defense if necessary. Please name the professions that require heroism, courage, patience (military personnel, firefighters, miners, pilots ...).

Our ancestors from ancient times considered patriotism to be the main quality of a person, which is confirmed in sayings and proverbs.

People's thoughts about the motherland and patriotism help to realize the full power of patriotic feeling and respect for one's fatherland, people.

Look at your tables there is material ( Didactic material No. 2 ), please read, discuss in groups the meaning of proverbs and express your opinion whether you agree with aphorisms, proverbs, sayings of folk wisdom. (Proverbs are read and commented)

Take care of your dear land, like a beloved mother

In the battle for the Fatherland and death is red

    Houses and walls help

    Needed where was born

The main thing in life is to serve the Fatherland

For your Motherland, do not spare either strength or life

The smoke of the Fatherland is lighter than someone else's fire

To live - to serve the Motherland

Who is a mountain for the Motherland, that is a true hero

Who loves the motherland and people is a true patriot

Whoever loves the Motherland, she will not be indebted to him

Whoever serves the Motherland faithfully, fulfills that duty approximately

Love for the motherland is stronger than death

On the other side, the Motherland is doubly sweet

In a foreign land, and kalach is not a joy, but in the homeland, black bread is a sweetness

There is no more beautiful in the world than our Motherland

About those and the radio broadcasts who defends the Motherland

One mother is dear and the motherland is one

Motherland is a mother, know how to stand up for her

They protect their homeland with their heads

Homeland, like parents do not choose

Native land - paradise to the heart

From your native land - do not go down to die

Feel free to go into battle, the Motherland is behind you

That land is sweet, where the mother gave birth

Only he will be honored who loves his Motherland not in word, but in deed.

So, patriot is a citizen who cares about his Motherland, about its nature, defending its honor, knowing the history of his country.

Students are invited to complete the cluster and thereby answer the question from the topic of the class hour: "What does it mean to be a patriot?"

Work on a separate sheet. (Didactic material No. 3 ) At the same time, a video fragment is played (D. Maidanov)

IV. Consolidation.

Vladimir Putin put it this way: “If we want to live better, we need to make the country more attractive to everyone. We do not and cannot have any other unifying idea other than patriotism, because if this is the case, every citizen will live better, and there will be more prosperity and more comfort. This is the national idea." (See the video clip “Putin on Patriotism”).

The national idea is the true religious, socio-political and cultural self-awareness of the people, the understanding of its historical destiny. The national idea rests on an active civic position.

Active citizenship is an acquired quality that develops and improves throughout a person’s life.

Active citizenship implies the presence of interest in social work, initiative, diligence, awareness of personal significance, the presence of organizational skills.

It is in the team that such important motives for the behavior and activities of a young person as a sense of duty, collectivism, and camaraderie are formed.

V. Summarizing. Reflection.

Let's get back to the words of N.A. Nekrasov about "citizen", in what sense did he use this word?

Of course, for Nekrasov, the concept of "citizen" is identified with the modern concept of "patriot".

Complete the phrase: "I want to be a patriot because..."

Let's create a syncaine:

Noun - the concept of a topic (For example, a citizen, a patriot ...)

Two adjectives...

Three verbs...

A sentence expressing the main idea...

Noun (synonym for the concept being expanded, reflecting the conclusion)

Examples of syncwines written by students on this topic:

The conversation is summed up - b Being a patriot is not so difficult, true love for the Motherland is not only and not so much expressed in words, but is supported by concrete deeds. So - everything is in our hands!
