Dmitry Malikov was born in Moscow on January 29, 1970, in the family of the Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Yu. Malikov and the artist of the music hall, and then the VIA "Gems" L. Vyunkova.
Childhood and youth
When Dmitry was little, he dreamed of becoming a famous hockey player. Along with sports, he attended a music school, where he learned to play the piano. His first concerts took place at school, and he wrote his first song as a teenager.
Due to the constant traveling of his parents to the concert venues of the Soviet Union, the boy was raised by his grandmother.
As a child, he liked to play football and hockey with the boys in the yard, but when his parents hired music teachers for him, he was very unhappy with this. The boy regularly ran away from the lesson, as their apartment was located on the ground floor.
Parents were told by teachers that Dmitry would not be a musician, but they were wrong.
The beginning of a musical career. In the eighty-fifth year, Dima graduated from high school and entered the Moscow Conservatory. At the same time, he begins his solo career on the musical Olympus. He worked as a keyboard player in the VIA "Gems" together with his father. 
His debut on the screen as a soloist took place in 1986, in the program "Wider Circle", where he performed the song "I am painting a picture."
Then he performed in the TV program "Morning Mail", "New Year's Light". His songs were played on many radio stations in the country, and were among the top ten, according to listeners.
Life today
Malikov admits that today he is in a musical crisis, it is hard for him to be at the top of the charts at the age of 47. He did not finish with creativity, and today he works in the theater, writes music, and tries himself as a producer.
Maybe he will become the producer of his growing daughter Stephanie, who is making timid steps on the music floors.
Malikov is not a rare guest of the famous television talk shows "Tonight", "Secret for a Million", etc.
Personal life
Dmitry Malikov, the rapidly rising star of the nineties, has a huge army of fans. There were always a lot of the most beautiful famous girls around him. One of them was Natalya Vetlitskaya. She was older than the singer, but this did not become an obstacle in order to have an affair.

But his personal life took a new turn when he met a new girl who, again, was several years older than him. He has been living with Elena Isakson, a designer, for 25 years, but they decided to marry only after the birth of their common child.
Now they are raising two daughters: Olga, Elena's daughter from her first marriage, and Stephanie, who was born 17 years ago.
Dmitry is very proud of his daughter. Parents could arrange a daughter in any prestigious educational institution, however, do not seek to send her to study abroad. The girl wants to enter the State Institute of International Relations, the Faculty of Journalism.
