How to cook yeast pies with onion and egg in the oven

First, let's set the steam. Grind the yeast into a bowl, add sugar to it, pour everything with warm water.

We knead the dough with a whisk (it is easier and faster for them to achieve uniformity than with a fork) and add a glass of flour.


Again, knead everything and remove the bowl to the side until the dough doubles or triples. As a rule, this happens in 10-15 minutes.


Lastly, sift the flour into the dough and knead a soft dough.


The dough is kneaded perfectly, and after 5 minutes it completely stops sticking to your hands. Having kneaded to such a state, cover the bowl with the dough and put it on the rise. If, nevertheless, your dough is naughty and sticks to your hands even after kneading, add another handful of flour. While the dough is rising, make the filling. Wash the eggs and, lowering them into cold water, boil until tender (hard boiled).


Wash the green onions as well, then shake well to remove the water. We tear off all the darkened parts from the feathers and chop finely.


Dip the boiled eggs in cold water, peel and finely chop in the same way. Mix with onions, add salt - and the filling is ready.


Punch down the risen dough and divide into several small balls. The larger you want to get the pies, the larger the koloboks should be, respectively. I got 12 of them. We crush each bun again, flatten it a little, then roll it into a cake up to 0.5 cm thick. Put the onion-egg filling on each cake. I like a lot of toppings, so I put 2 tbsp. l., pressing it directly into the dough to make it easier to seal the edges.

How to cook a delicious and quick jellied pie with green onions and eggs

The first step is to prepare the filling. To do this, boil hard-boiled eggs, dip them under cold water, let cool and peel. Then chop the prepared eggs into cubes. Wash green onions, shake well from water and chop finely.

We mix onion and eggs in one bowl, add some salt to taste and the filling for the jellied pie is ready.

Now we turn on the oven at 180 degrees, leave it to warm up and start preparing the dough. Pour kefir into a suitable size bowl, add melted butter (or margarine for baking) to it.

With a whisk, bring the mass to homogeneity, then add eggs into it.

Knead the mixture again with a whisk, then add sugar and salt to the dough.

Next, sift the flour into the bowl with the dough, mix it with the baking powder. Depending on the fat content and density of kefir, you may need a handful or two more flour. In the absence of baking powder, you can replace it with slaked soda vinegar.

Again, whisk until the dough is smooth. The dough is easy to knead, the consistency is just like pancake.

We leave the dough for 10 minutes to rest, after which we proceed to the formation of the pie. We grease the baking dish well with oil or line with parchment both the bottom and the sides.
