Ravensbrück is the only women's concentration camp in Germany. Little is known about him at all. More precisely, less than about other similar places. It became known about the existence of this "hell" after some prisoners were able to send letters to their relatives written in urine (that is, transparent ink that had to be heated with an iron). Otherwise, it would be possible and no one would be saved at all. Since before the liberation of the camp, the guards, expecting trouble, killed hundreds of people in gas chambers. An incredible number of women, about 90 thousand, died in Ravensbrück. Just 130 thousand women passed through the camp from the 39th to the 45th. 40 nationalities. I will not even write about the dead children. The worst thing that influenced me in the history of this place was the terrible experiments that doctors performed on healthy women. Experiments on the prisoners began with the testing of antibacterial drugs for gunshot wounds. In deep wounds on the upper part of the thigh, women were injected with staphylococci, the causative agents of tetanus, different types bacteria, particles of wood, metal and glass. All the changes that occurred, from the appearance of temperature to the development of necrosis and death, were carefully documented by doctors and later presented at a conference of medical consultants of the military academy in Berlin. The second series of experiments was devoted to studying the possibilities of transplantation bone tissue, muscles, nerves. Doctors amputated the limbs of women and sewed them on to other test subjects. Women also had their limbs broken and put in plaster.
