Paintings with rats. Types and breeds of decorative rats

09.03.2019

Since ancient times, people began to tame rats, and since the beginning of the last century, the first decorative types rodents that are now considered pets. Rats are endowed with great intelligence, special cunning, quick wit, good memory, which made them among the popular pets. What are the types and breeds decorative rats in modern society?

In medical experiments, rats are often used to conduct various kinds of experiments and experiments. Thanks to these animals, more than one drug has been developed that helps us, humans, overcome diseases, and it is rather difficult to overestimate their role in this.

Like the rest of our smaller brothers, rats also have their own subspecies and breeds. Some types of domestic rats have taken their name from cats, dogs, or other rodents.

Basically, each breed of rats differs only in size, presence and types of wool. Life expectancy is about the same for all breeds.

Representatives of the breed of decorative standard rats are quite widespread due to the popularity of this type of rodent. Rats of this breed are endowed with smooth fur, which has a glossy sheen. The body is elongated and large, up to 24 centimeters long. The weight of representatives of this breed reaches half a kilogram. The tail is long and thickened at the base. The length of the tail is 20 centimeters or more. Ears are rounded, small, squat.

tailless rats

In 1983, the first individual of representatives of tailless rats was bred by an amateur. As it becomes clear from the name of the species, its representatives do not have a tail. Even its small beginnings are unacceptable for this breed. Tailless rats have a slightly different body shape than their standard breed. For anurans, a pear-shaped body is characteristic.

Rats of this breed are endowed with a matte coat, it is coarser than that of the representatives of the Standard breed. A less shiny, but at the same time denser and curly fur coat is characteristic of representatives of this species. Rex whiskers are short and curled. The number of axial hairs of wool is insignificant.

Satin decorative rats

Satin representatives of the breed of decorative rats have a thin and long coat, which resembles satin in its appearance, hence the name of these crumbs. Smooth wool with blue glitter will appeal to even the most inveterate skeptics and will not leave anyone indifferent. It is the irresistible sheen of the coat that is the main advantage of this species. The body shape of the Satins is the same as that of the representatives of the Standard breed.

Hairless rat breed

Representatives of this species do not have hair at all. Even the slightest presence of a woolen cover on the body of an animal is considered unacceptable. The body of the rodent should have a bright shiny color. It is allowed to have a small amount of fluff above the eyes, on the cheeks, wrists and ankles of the pet.

Dumbo rats

This breed originates from 1991 in California. Representatives of this species got their nickname in honor of the cartoon elephant named Dumbo. These pets have large, low-set, rounded ears. Dumbo differs from other breeds in a wider head shape with a pointed muzzle. The shape of the body in Dumbo rats is pear-shaped, like in tailless rats, but shorter.

Downy breed of ornamental rats or Fuzz rats

Representatives of this species boast the presence of thin downy fur on their body, which creates a translucent cover over the entire body. The hairs are short and sparse. There are no guard hairs. The mustache is short, twisted.

Husky rats

Another breed of mice, which has a non-uniform coat color. Combines gray and White color. Babies initially have one color - white, but over time they change their colors. Black eyes are not characteristic of the Husky breed, they are characterized by shades of red. The body structure and size of the Husky are no different from other breeds.

Double Rex breed

Domestic rats of the Double Rex breed are characterized by the presence of a double hairline. The coat of the animal is rather short, the skin of the rat is clearly visible. The fur of the rodent twists a little in the form of a spiral. Soft downy and hard guard hairs are interspersed throughout the body. Representatives of this breed are subject to frequent molting, during which some areas of the animal's skin may be completely hairless. Coat color may vary. The mustache is short and curled.

Everyone has an irresistible desire to spoil their neighbor, while remaining incognito. Those who are more successful in this matter develop and introduce themselves such a skill on genetic level when the hands themselves reach out to break firewood and add oil. British scientists call such frags symbolically a rat. As you may have guessed in this lesson, we will learn. From a narrow point of view of biology, a rat is an ordinary creature that flows into the human community and, trying to remain unnoticed, shits further than it sees. Spoils products without GMOs, and is also attracted to cheese like flies to eiders. Specific skill - meter jumps exclusively from the toilet, causing panic in the enemy with a sudden attack, and hiding with pipes. They are socially active, live in herds and often organize bacchanalia in the basements of houses.

In society, it is customary to call a rat a person conveying unnecessary information. the right people(synonymous - snitch). The human rat differs markedly from Homo sapiens in its extremely polite character and cunning.

What to do if you are a rat:

  • Make sure that the owner of the information is slow and stupid, which means that he will not have time to understand that you have fused him with giblets. You process such people calmly, excuse yourself like And I’m what and I’m nothing, and leave in English, without good bye.
  • If the target is cunning and smart - the idea is bad, the chance to rake is 102%, and it will only be possible to convey your sinful body to intensive care. But because the brain doesn't process possible outcomes, the ranks of rats are shrinking exponentially in advanced society.
  • If you are an animal, I advise you to find yourself a modest toilet and live there, scaring passing women and not disdaining free food. Then find the nearest mousetrap with cheese, give in to the impulse and die in splendid isolation. Shovel.

How to draw a rat with a pencil step by step

Step one. Let's mark on paper the location of the rat with the help of a polygon, in which we will put a huge rat.
Step two. With circles we will create the body of a mammal, with them we will select the paws, ears, only the tail will be drawn with curved parallel lines.
Step three. Carefully circle all the outer lines, draw small paws with claws and a muzzle with a mustache.
Step four. With light hatching, we will draw lines that will create the effect of wool, draw a little tail and remove all the lines inside and outside the drawing that you no longer need.
Ready. Did you succeed? Show your work, you can attach pictures below this article. See related tutorials.

Now we will draw a rat. To do this, we need pencils of different softness, I use 4H, 2B and 6B. You can draw with one pencil, you just need to adjust the pressure on it. I had a white rat with red eyes, I loved her very much. She lived for about 3 years, then she developed a tumor, and six months later she set off to travel the eternal circle of samsara. They say that rats are smart, I won’t say that she was smart with me, but she was very grateful and loved to play, and more than anything in the world she loved to eat and eat. It’s a pity that they live so little, it hurts so much to part with their beloved “person”. Now let's start drawing a rat with a pencil and step by step.

Step 1. The outline I draw hard pencil, I don’t press hard so that you can erase the lines, otherwise when you press hard, the stripes remain. We draw the outline of the head, muzzle, nose and eyes of the rat. Then we draw a stick, for which the rat will hold on to the handles. Click on the image to enlarge the image.

Step 2. We draw lines in more detail, draw lines for the direction of the rat's hair around the eyes, on the forehead. We draw fingers at a rat.

Step 3. Now I have taken soft pencil 2B and, where there was a contour, erase with an eraser and draw parallel lines- wool, look at the picture.

Step 4. Now we draw hair on the head of the rat. How to do it. Let's start with the forehead. Lightly paint over the entire forehead (option 1), then I smeared it with my finger (you don’t need to smear it for a long time, so, once or twice and you’re done (option 2)). Then we apply lines on top (option 3), below it is a diluted example. Only we all do it in the direction of the wool, click on the next picture, there is already a rat. We do.

Step 5. Now draw the other part of the rat's face in the same way. We barely noticeably paint over the muzzle and the nose a little bit, leaving the area near the nose and on top of the nose untouched.

Step 6. Next, we refine the head of the rat in the same way. And since my finger is already covered in pencil, I just made a base for the body - I rubbed it. We draw the fingers of the rat. We also begin to draw a stick, making dark strokes from the edges, then a little lighter (to see how to draw the trunk in detail -).

Step 7. We make strokes in the direction of the wool, a lot of strokes, smearing a little for uniformity, so that the background is gray.

IN Lately Rats are increasingly being kept as pets. And no wonder: these are very smart animals, very devoted to their master. Some, however, are afraid of them and consider them aggressive. And completely in vain, because rats are mostly funny and smart. So, let's figure out how to draw a rat.

Let's start with general forms. It is necessary to depict two circles, one is large and the other is smaller. The smaller circle is immediately divided into four equal parts.

Let's add an elongated front part of the muzzle and two small semicircles - the ears.

Connect the head and body together.

Now we need to outline the legs and a long curved tail. For now it will just be lines.

Let's work with the muzzle: you need to draw a round eye, nostrils and antennae.

And still need to slightly adjust the shape of the ears.

Let's get back to the paws. They are short, neat, with small "fingers". Almost to the very soles of the paws are covered with wool - it also needs to be drawn.

Now the tail. It will be smooth, without hair, and not very thick.

When the contours are outlined, you can remove the auxiliary shapes and lines. This must be done carefully - the main contour must remain in place.

Let's move on to shading. First, let's lay our own shadows - very easily, without pressure.

Then we will lay the main tone. Well, if the shading is not very neat - this way the structure of the coat will be better visible. Still need to depict a falling shadow.

Done, our drawing is fully completed. For a better understanding of the lesson, you can watch this video.

How to draw a rat step by step.

In the topic "Drawing rodents" you can't do without a rat - the animal is popular and charismatic.

How to draw a rat? And deal still and in is - what precisely rat. Rats in the strict sense, there are two types - larger and meaner - pasyuk, or gray rat, and black rat. First, we will draw a black rat, a heat-loving resident of the southern regions.

Someone is afraid of rats, someone is squeamish. But there are rats, there is no getting away from this - so let's depict a black rat, and that will be enough for today.

Since who these rats represent everything, I think everyone, let's immediately move on to describing the most significant in our business: appearance. Let's take our picture as an example, which we drew based on the photograph, however, we turned the animal in the opposite direction. The rat sits on the plane and listens with a wary look. Surely now, having heard our conversations with you, she will headlong, as they say in books, rush to the nearest shelter. This, of course, is how I imagine the course of events, in fact, all this is very doubtful.

And this is already a gray rat - its build is about the same as that of a black one. It differs in size, fur color, much more energy and the fact that it is common EVERYWHERE.

Let's move on to the description and immediately draw. Sketch first with a simple pencil, then we refine it step by step.

From the mouse, as I understand it, the rat differs, except for the size, proportions.

In general, the rat, like all rodents, is distinguished by a dense physique, a short and strong neck, and a fairly large head. The rear part of the body predominates, the hips are strong and strong, it is known that the rat is good at jumping. The withers, like those of the beaver we drew yesterday, are much lower than the croup. The limbs will probably be proportionately longer than those of a mouse. The tail is long (even longer than the body with a head) and hairless, just like that of a beaver - it is covered with scales, but it looks somewhat miserable - a kind of cord tapering towards one end. Now the details.

Muzzle, let's draw bigger. Here is a picture from the internet. But, although it is clear, it is difficult to understand the structure of the head. What to do? But, let's compare it with the skull of a rat and everything will fall into place. The eyes of the rat are large, dark, bulging and expressive. The skull is flat, from the level of the eyes the nose narrows towards the end of the muzzle. The muzzle itself is blunt.

The shoulders are covered with hair, they are not wide, and the front legs are rather weak. Such is the rat. Like other rodents, it can and apparently likes to sit on its hind legs. Remember the squirrel, the beaver - everyone's favorite position is to squat.

So we and you learned how to draw rats. Where can this skill be used? And for example, to illustrate a parable about rats, or to draw a Pied Piper of Hammel, or to illustrate the Nutcracker.

So far I have only the picture "The Rat King". Remember this fantasy creature- seven rat bodies fused together?

You see: the ability to draw rats came in handy.

Marina Novikova told you how to draw a rat.
