Draw your diagram. How to draw an electrical circuit on a computer - an overview of programs

16.02.2019

We use computers and virtual instruments more and more. It’s already not always desirable to draw diagrams on paper - it takes a long time, it’s not always beautiful and it’s difficult to fix. In addition, a diagram-drawing program can produce a list of necessary elements, simulate a printed circuit board, and some can even calculate the results of its work.

Free Schematic Programs

There are many good free programs for drawing electrical circuits on the network. For professionals, their functionality may not be enough, but to create a power supply scheme for a house or apartment, their functions and operations will be enough. Not all of them are equally convenient, some are difficult to learn, but you can find several free programs for drawing electrical circuits that anyone can use, they have such a simple and intuitive interface.

The easiest option is to use the stock Windows program Paint, which is available on almost any computer. But in this case, you will have to draw all the elements yourself. Special Program for drawing diagrams allows you to insert ready-made elements in the right places, and then connect them using communication lines. We will talk about these programs further.

Free program for drawing diagrams - does not mean bad. On this photo working with Fritzing

The program for drawing QElectroTech circuits is in Russian, and it is completely Russified - menus, explanations - in Russian. Convenient and intuitive interface - a hierarchical menu with possible elements and operations on the left side of the screen and several tabs at the top. There are also shortcut buttons for performing standard operations - saving, printing, etc.

There is an extensive list of ready-made elements, it is possible to draw geometric figures, insert text, make changes in a specific area, change direction in a single fragment, add rows and columns. In general, the program is quite convenient with which it is easy to draw a power supply diagram, put down the names of the elements and ratings. The result can be saved in several formats: JPG, PNG, BMP, SVG, data can be imported (opened in this program) in QET and XML formats, exported in QET format.

The disadvantage of this program for drawing diagrams is the lack of a video in Russian on how to use it, but there are a considerable number of lessons in other languages.

Microsoft graphics editor - Visio

For those who have at least a little experience with Microsoft products, it will not be difficult to master the work in the Visio graphics editor (Visio). This product also has a fully Russified version, and with good level translation.

This product allows you to draw a diagram to scale, which is convenient for calculating the number of wires needed. A large library of stencils with symbols, various components of the circuit, makes the work similar to assembling a constructor: you need to find the right element and put it in place. Since many are accustomed to working in programs of this type, the search is not difficult.

The positive aspects include the presence of a decent number of lessons on working with this program for drawing diagrams, and in Russian.

Compass Electric

Another program for drawing diagrams on a computer is Compass Electric. This is a more serious product that is used by professionals. There is a wide functionality that allows you to draw various plans, flowcharts, and other similar drawings. When transferring the scheme to the program, the specification and wiring diagram are formed in parallel, and they are all printed out.

To get started, you need to load the library with system elements. When you select a schematic image of an element, a window will “pop up” in which there will be a list of suitable parts taken from the library. A suitable element is selected from this list, after which its schematic representation appears in specified place scheme. At the same time, a designation corresponding to GOST with continuous numbering is automatically affixed (the program changes the numbers itself). At the same time, the parameters (name, number, denomination) of the selected element appear in the specification.

In general, the program is interesting and useful for developing device diagrams. It can be used to create a wiring diagram in a house or apartment, but in this case its functionality will hardly be used. And one more positive thing: there are many video tutorials for working with Compass-Electric, so it will not be difficult to master it.

DipTrace program - for drawing single-line diagrams and circuit diagrams

This program is useful not only for drawing power supply diagrams - everything is simple here, since only a diagram is needed. It is more useful for PCB design, as it has a built-in function for converting an existing schematic into a PCB trace.

To get started, as in many other cases, you must first load the element base libraries available on your computer. To do this, the Schematic DT application must be launched, after which the libraries can be loaded. They can be downloaded on the same resource where you will take the program.

After loading the library, you can start drawing the diagram. First, you can "drag" the necessary elements from the libraries to the working field, expand them (if necessary), arrange and connect them with communication lines. After the circuit is ready, if necessary, select the line "convert to board" in the menu and wait for a while. The output will be a finished printed circuit board with the arrangement of elements and tracks. You can also see it in 3D appearance finished board.

Free ProfiCAD program for drawing electrical diagrams

The free program for drawing diagrams ProfiCAD is one of the the best options for the home master. It is easy to use, does not require a computer special libraries- it already has about 700 elements. If there are not enough of them, you can easily replenish the base. The required element can simply be dragged onto the field, expanded there in the right direction, install.

Having drawn a diagram, you can get a connection table, a bill of materials, a list of wires. Results can be obtained in one of the four most common formats: PNG, EMF, BMP, DXF. A nice feature of this program is that it has low hardware requirements. It normally works with systems from Windows 2000 and above.

This product has only one drawback - there is no video about working with it in Russian yet. But the interface is so clear that you can figure it out yourself, or watch one of the "imported" videos to understand the mechanics of work.

If you find yourself working with a diagram drawing program frequently, some paid versions are worth considering. Why are they better? They have wider functionality, sometimes more extensive libraries and a more thoughtful interface.

Simple and convenient sPlan

If you do not really want to deal with the intricacies of working with multi-level programs, take a closer look at the sPlan prolukt. It has a very simple and understandable device, so after an hour and a half of work you will already be able to navigate freely.

As usual in such programs, a library of elements is needed, after the first start they must be loaded before starting work. In the future, if you do not transfer the library to another location, the setting is not needed - the old path to it is used by default.

If you need an element that is not in the list, you can draw it, then add it to the library. It is also possible to insert extraneous images and save them, if necessary, in the library.

From other useful and desired functions- auto-numbering, the ability to change the scale of an element by rotating the mouse wheel, a ruler for a more understandable scaling. In general, a pleasant and useful thing.

Microcap

This program, in addition to building a circuit of any type (analog, digital or mixed), also allows you to analyze its operation. The initial parameters are set and the output data is obtained. That is, it is possible to simulate the operation of the circuit when various conditions. A very useful feature, because, probably, teachers and students love it very much.

The Micro-Cap program has built-in libraries that can be replenished using special function. When drawing an electrical circuit, the product automatically develops circuit equations, and also performs calculations depending on the set ratings. When the value is changed, the output parameters change immediately.

A program for drawing power supply schemes and more - more to simulate their work

The ratings of the elements can be constant or variable, depending on various factors - temperature, time, frequency, the state of some circuit elements, etc. All these options are calculated, the results are given in a convenient form. If there are parts in the circuit that change their appearance or state - LEDs, relays - when simulating operation, they change their parameters and appearance due to animation.

The program for drawing and analyzing Micro-Cap circuits is paid, in the original it is in English, but there is also a Russified version. Its cost in a professional version is more than a thousand dollars. The good news is that there is also a free version, as usual with limited features (smaller library, no more than 50 elements in the circuit, reduced speed). For home use, this option is quite suitable. It's also nice that it works fine with any Windows system from Vista and 7 and up.

Drawing a circuit diagram in Word is easy! | RUQRZ.COM

It is easy to draw a simple electrical circuit diagram. To do this, you do not need to install any additional programs. By downloading a template for the MSOffice Word editor, you can easily draw your diagram right in the Word editor.

To start drawing, you need to make small adjustments.

Download the Normal.dot template archive. The downloaded archive must be unzipped. The Normal.dot file can be saved to office templates or opened from any location.

Double click on the file Normal.dot or open it in the Word editor. The template uses macros, so if the antivirus or the editor itself issues a warning that there are macros in the template, they must be allowed.

In the toolbar there is a button for setting the document grid to which you can "attach" the elements of the scheme.

The library of circuit elements consists of a set of aileron components: semiconductor elements, resistors, chokes, coils, contacts, etc.

Who even knows how to work in a text editor Microsoft Word it will not be difficult at all to draw your circuit diagram. To do this, select the desired element from the library, click on it, after which it will appear in our document. It remains to arrange the necessary elements on the worksheet, add wires and connect the circuit connections and our circuit is ready! Do not forget to use the standard tools of the program: lines, points, circles, and so on, which was already provided by the Word program itself.

Advantages:

  • there is no need to install a special program for drawing electrical circuits;
  • ease of drawing simple electrical circuits;
  • the ability to export the scheme to pdf, html formats.

Flaws:

  • the complexity of creating electrical circuits according to GOST;
  • when opening a file with a diagram in other versions of Word, the formatting of the document may be violated;
  • a small set of components for drawing electrical circuits.

Drawing electrical circuits in Microsoft Word

There are many programs for drawing electrical circuits. In this article I will tell you how to quickly draw an electrical circuit diagram using the well-known Word text editor. Here I specifically use the term “drawing electrical circuits” instead of “drawing electrical circuits”, since I believe that drawing implies the strict implementation of a circuit drawing in accordance with GOST, which in the described method of drawing electrical circuits will not always be convenient.

Drawing electrical circuits using the Microsoft Word program is performed using a set of pre-made drawings of electrical radio elements connected to the document template.

Installing a template for drawing electrical circuits.

In order to get started, let's make our text editor more convenient for drawing electrical circuits. To do this, install the following Normal.dot template.

We go to the menu File - Open, a dialog box appears in front of us, shown in Figure 1.

Figure 1. The dialog box for opening a document.

Next, we do the points marked in the figure: 1. In the drop-down list, set the type of document - All Word.2 templates. In the explorer window, specify the path to the downloaded Normal.dot.3 file. Select the Normal.dot.4 file. Click the Open button. We go to the Add-ons item of the main menu, where an additional toolbar of the Normal.dot template appears (Figure 2.)

Description of the toolbar for drawing electrical diagrams.

Let's take a closer look at the panel for drawing electrical circuits (Figure 2.).

Figure 2. Panel for drawing electrical circuits.

Here we see: 1. Text formatting panel, paragraph, insertion of special objects and utility call menu.2. Standard toolbar with some additional features.3. Toolbar Scheme with a set of libraries of electroradioelements and inserts of standard objects of some shapes.

I think that the standard font and paragraph formatting panel will not create questions, so I will not touch it.

The Scheme drop-down menu completely repeats the Scheme panel, the latter, in turn, is turned on by clicking on the icon in the form of a transistor designation. The Template drop-down menu allows you to insert ready-made templates of various frames made in accordance with GOST (Figure 3.).

Figure 3. Menu Templates.

Tools drop-down menu Utilities designed to print a document in the form of a book.

The Language drop-down menu tools perform various functions related to the language of the document.

Of the features of the standard toolbar, it should be noted the presence of buttons: - calling the formula editor; - inserting symbols; - displaying the Scheme panel.

Now let's move on to the consideration of the Scheme toolbar (Figure 4.).

Figure 4. Scheme panel.

The panel contains the following blocks: 1. Button to call the window for binding objects to the grid.2. A group of tools for formatting an object.3. Group of tools for inserting standard objects.4. A group of tools for inserting objects from the element library.

The library of tools for drawing electrical circuits consists of sets of basic electrical radio elements and is shown in Figure 5.

Creation of electrical circuit diagrams.

For those who know at least a little how to work with Microsoft Word, it will not be difficult at all to create an electrical circuit. You just need to select the required element in the library, click on it and it will immediately appear in the document. Now it only remains to arrange the elements introduced in this way as you need on the sheet and connect the connection points of the circuit with lines and the circuit is ready! Do not forget to use the standard tools of the program.

An example of creating a diagram in Microsoft Word can be seen in Figure 6.

Advantages and disadvantages of using Microsoft Word to draw electrical circuit diagrams

Advantages: - no need to install special programs; - ease of creating simple electrical circuits; - free distribution of the described template; - the ability to save the circuit in pdf, html formats. Disadvantages: - the complexity of creating electrical circuits according to GOST; - when opening a file with a circuit in other versions of Word may violate the formatting of the document; - a small set of components for drawing electrical circuits.

Conclusion: this method of drawing electrical circuits is well suited for the design of simple circuits. For example, when completing a coursework or thesis you need to quickly draw a part of the circuit, some kind of cascade or node of a complex circuit. You can also use a text editor to draw electrical circuits when publishing articles on the Internet.

The program for electrical circuits, which one is better to choose for work.

Topic: what program is better to choose for drawing electrical circuits.

This topic will provide a small overview of the most good and common computer programs, which are used to create circuit diagrams in digital format.

sPlan diagram drawing program

I'll start with the most common and running program for creating electrical circuits, which is called sPlan. The advantages of the program include ease of operation, ample opportunities, Russian-speaking, user-friendly interface, etc. It contains a large internal database of various electrical and electronic components, which are broken down and ordered into certain groups and types (this is convenient when choosing the right elements in the process of creating a circuit).

It is completely in Russian, which is rare for good programs. Even a beginner can understand it quite quickly and easily, as the program has an intuitive working environment, which makes it easier common understanding and work with her. With sPlan, you can draw electrical diagrams.

After installation, run it and create a new document. In this workspace, you continue to work, sketching out the elements of the electrical circuit, connecting the necessary conclusions to each other. On the left side is the element library. Your task is to select the desired component and drag it to the main field with the mouse. Well, then there should not be any special difficulties. If anything, read the help in the program itself. At the end of the creation of the scheme, you simply save it on your computer and that's it. Print out if necessary. The program can be found and downloaded in the "Download" section (see the top menu).

Microsoft Office Visio program

If you don’t have enough opportunities that sPlan offers, or you want not to be limited only to circuit diagrams, but to expand your needs to other areas of activity, then I can advise you on a more powerful, professional, sophisticated program from the Microsoft Office family, namely Microsoft office vision.

This is a very strong program in terms of creating various schemes. In it, you can make not only fundamental, but also structural, functional, connections, general, location and others. In addition, it is not limited to electrical. You are a computer scientist or a businessman, and it will suit you. In a word, with its help it is possible to sketch any schemes, but there is also a slight inconvenience.

This is something that you need to puff on it for some time, namely to figure it out. Since with such a wide range of possibilities, it will be difficult for a beginner to work with it on the go. Although, in principle, if you have already noticed, software products created by the same company, their interface is very similar to each other. That is, if a person knows how to work and is familiar with the usual Microsoft Office Word, then the main part of the Visio program will be easier for him to understand. So if you want, you can easily and quickly learn how to work with it.

I will touch a little on the topic of the original purpose of these generated by programs schemes. For example, you needed to draw an electrical circuit on a computer a couple of times. In this case, it is not necessary to study completely any program in general. It's easier to take sPlan and not suffer from the study of others. Or, at all, open a drawing program (graphic editors) and on it using simple figures, lines, curves to quickly paint a sketch.

Drawing SnagitEditor

In those cases when the scheme requires an explanation (according to it), visibility, presentability, aesthetics, and not strict documentation, this is done. The Snagit program is taken and in SnagitEditor (internal editor), using lines and curves with shadow effects, we assemble the entire scheme in parts. The result is a very nice-looking shemka. If you use copying of ready-made, previously drawn components by you, you can reduce the time of creating such a document to several minutes. Fast and beautiful. The program can be found and downloaded in the "Download" section (see the top menu).

On this moment there is a wide variety of all kinds of programs that can draw, plan, test, calculate, etc. You just need to search a little in your local network or on the Internet, after downloading each one, check and choose the most suitable one. When searching, pay attention to the version of the programs. They are updated quite often and this contributes to the improvement and expansion of their internal capabilities. From the list of options found, download the one with the highest number after the name of the program.

This concludes the topic, a program for drawing electrical circuits, which one is better for you to choose for work.

P.S. From myself I advise - for simple sketches, use simple drawing tools, and for ordinary circuit diagrams, install sPlan and you will be satisfied.

HOW TO DRAW A SCHEME ON THE BOARD WITH DETAILS

A man decided to deal with the operation of an electronic device. In principle, there is nothing reprehensible in this. However, he is not even a “teapot” yet, he is only a “candidate for teapots”. Until now, I have not heard about such a “title”, but it must be introduced. If earlier they first went to the radio circle, listened to what they say, and then asked questions, now they turn on the computer and immediately ask questions. For example, a photo of a printed circuit board is asked to explain how this circuit works. You can't blame a person. He was fascinated by electronics. All so elegant, modern and affordable. And besides the possibility of possessing her, he also wanted to understand her, to look into the “soul”.

And then a person recalls the existence of the Radio Schemes website, which not only unites radio amateurs different profile and level, but also famous for its loyalty to newcomers. Yes, you are welcome, you are always welcome. Only one small condition: At first, you have to do as they say. And rigorously and without delay. Otherwise, as one misunderstanding used to say, once heading the whole state, we will not reach a consensus))

To achieve an understanding of how an electronic device works, its circuit diagram is necessary. We are considering the option when the finished circuit could not be found, but there is a printed circuit board available. I will not offer to take good pictures of this board digital camera, moreover, strictly in the projection "the axis of the lens is perpendicular to the plane of the board", on both sides, the dimensions of the board according to the size of the frame.

As well as downloading the Sprint-Layout program (links will be below), into which you can then insert the taken photos and draw, first from the side of the printed conductors, then flip the picture and “arrange” the images of electronic components in their places. I want something, right now, without downloading anything, without studying and additionally nothing, without delving into take and draw.

How to proceed - you need a sheet of notebook paper in a box, a pencil, an eraser and a ruler.

We start drawing from the side of the printed conductors of the board. First of all, we depict the smd components placed there. We draw them and the distance between them with a fourfold increase (otherwise you won’t see anything there later), their relative position and proportional distance on the plane should also be preserved. Then the solder contacts are marked with bold dots.

We draw the connections between the contacts slowly, with thick lines. Here it is better to use a pencil with a soft lead. At this stage, an eraser will come in very handy.

Now we need to mirror the image. The sheet is turned over with the pattern down and placed on the glass, illuminate the glass from below with a flashlight (in the daytime, you can simply lean it against window glass) and circle the translucent contours of smd parts and printed conductors. Here it is already better to use a ballpoint pen.

Now, to the resulting picture, you need to add external electronic components (it is desirable to make them in a different color) and indicate their ordinal designations given on the board. The result already fully reflects the order of placement of parts on the printed circuit board and their connection to each other. It will not be superfluous for the conductors, and walk not with a thick felt-tip pen. It remains to compile a list of electronic components, which will indicate their ratings and you can safely turn to experts for clarification. Help, believe me, they will not refuse.

In conclusion, I took another half step forward, and the result was such a concept, of course, not ideal, but this was not on the agenda. I drew it in the Splan program, of course it was possible to do it by hand, but there was not enough exposure. Even for show.

And this is a board drawn in Sprint-Layout, if I compete with drawing by hand, then I will have time to work out only two (against one by hand), because I rarely draw, whoever does this will often do four.

Moral: if this is really a one-time event for you, then you can do everything on a notebook sheet (you even need to try once). For the second time, a big request, do not be a masochist. The author of the instruction is Babay iz Barnaula.

Free program for beginner radio amateurs "Drawing electrical circuits: Beginnings of Electronics 1.02"

Description of the program: Beginnings of ELECTRONICS is a program for beginner radio amateurs. Using this program on a computer, you can create simple electrical circuits, simulate events, observe the processes occurring in electrical systems.

Using this program, you can assemble both an elementary circuit containing a power source and a light bulb, as well as a rather complex fragment of a radio circuit. The assembly of the electrical circuit is carried out in graphical mode,

This greatly simplifies and speeds up the construction.

All components from which the circuit is assembled are shown with schematic icons, but when you hover over them, their image appears. Therefore, finding the right component will not be difficult even for a person who has taken up modeling for the first time.

The advantage of this editor is simplicity and clarity. To use an object (for example, a wire, resistor, coil), you just need to drag it onto the circuit board.

The main features of the program:

  • Assembly of electronic circuits with arbitrary parameters of parts;
  • Ability to use a multimeter;
  • Ability to use an oscilloscope;
  • Availability of ready-made schemes;
  • Laboratory works With detailed description;
  • Availability of theoretical reference books;
  • The ability to save torn schemes, with the aim of subsequent work with them;
  • Customizable detail options;
  • The possibility of studying and testing in practice the basic laws of physics on the topic "Electrodynamics".

The program also has a built-in multimeter and oscilloscope.

  • Drawing is a favorite activity of many kids! Some children may not get up from the table for hours, drawing their masterpieces. But very often they come to us, parents, with a request to draw something. For example, a cat or a dog, or even worse - a cow, a giraffe ... And then we begin to include all our knowledge and skills, remember how we were taught at school, puff, try and portray another something that looks a bit like an animal ... But to understand who is it: a cat, a dog or a hippopotamus, almost impossible ...

    We invite you not to lose heart, but to use the schemes we have selected, learn to draw with us. With these detailed diagrams, lessons, you can easily draw a wonderful cat, rabbit, pig, kitten, dog and other animals in a few seconds. We think your kid will be very happy with such drawings. And imagine with what pleasure he will color these images. Clearly with more than the usual printed coloring pages.

    Believe me, once you draw an animal several times according to this scheme, you will remember it and will continue to do it from memory. You can draw animals for your child not only at home, looking at the diagram, but also, for example, on the street on the pavement.

    Learn to draw animals. We wish you pleasant creativity!

    How to draw diagrams in Word 2003? In order to draw diagrams in Word, you only need your imagination, desire, and the program itself - a text editor that is included in the Microsoft office suite. After trying it once, you can already create any schemes and small topographic schemes. In the future, I will teach you how to do this. You will see that in good hands from a text editor and a color printer, you can make a whole mini-printing house.

    How to draw diagrams inWord

    Before creating diagrams in Word, it would be nice to learn how to create beautiful ones, and use them.

    Open a new document: - Start - Programs -Microsoftoffice-MicrosoftofficeWord . Down on the panel Drawing choose an icon Rectangle .

    If you do not have this panel, then go to the menu – View – Toolbars – and select - Drawing .

    After you click on the icon - Rectangle- you will have such a frame.

    Click anywhere in the newly created field. The field will look like this.

    You can cut this square in the center (right-click on it and select - Cut-). Select the rectangle in which we will draw. On the panel - Drawing- open AutoShapes - Basic Shapes - Cube and click the mouse on the field of the selected rectangle.

    You should end up with a picture like this.

    You can move and resize this cube. To do this, click on this cube to select it. If, when you hover over this cube with the mouse, the cursor takes the form of a cross with arrows at the ends, then this item can be moved. If the cursor takes the form of a double-headed arrow (on knots, which are indicated by small circles), then you can change the size of the object. Make a rectangular shape out of a cube.

    Click on the new shape with the right mouse button and select the item from the drop-down menu - Copy .

    Then right-click on the free field next to the figure and select - Insert. Do this trick twice.

    You can select the ready-made figures you need from the panel - Drawing - AutoShapes - Other AutoShapes .

    It should turn out like this.

    Now drag these shapes like mine.

    Try to make the next figure yourself (again by copying).

    You can also insert small drawings from the outside, for example, icons. Just take the icon you need and copy or drag it into place. Here's what we got.

    Now let's sign our drawings. To do this, select the frame with the pictures (click on the free place from the pictures to make the frame appear) and select on the panel Drawing icon Inscription .

    Now click the mouse on the free field of the frame. It should turn out like this.

    We have a new small frame with a cursor. We will write in it. The size of this frame can also be changed.

    Create by copying the same inscriptions as mine and move them to their places.

    Now let's draw the connecting lines. For this in AutoShapes (on the panel Drawing-) choose - Connecting lines . Don't forget to select the main frame before choosing. You can call it " Canvas". After all, we draw on it like on a canvas. I chose as the connecting line - Ledge with an arrow .

    This is where you have to be patient and practice. Move the cursor in the form of a cross to the place where you are going to draw the line and click without releasing the left mouse button, drag the line to the place where you need and only then release the mouse button.

    If it doesn't work, then cancel your action and select the connecting line again and start over. Each new line must be re-selected on the panel - Drawing .

    The lines can be changed by dragging the yellow diamonds on them.

    Now let's make a nice background for our drawing. To do this, again select our "canvas" and select everything on the same panel icon - Fill color .

    Having chosen the desired color, click on the icon again and make the second click on the free field of the "canvas". Or, first click on the "canvas", and then on the fill icon.

    Here's what we got.

    So that our individual drawings and icons do not move in different sides, you need to select each element (and connecting lines too) (click on each element while holding the " ctrl until all items are selected). Here, too, you have to sweat. Even I don't always get it right the first time.

    Now gently right-click on some selected element (for example, on the monitor icon) and select - groupingGroup .

    Practice a little and you can easily quickly and easily create any diagrams in Word .

    Note

    By the way, the thickness of all lines can be changed. To do this, select the required line by clicking on it and select on the panel - Drawing - Icon - Linetype . But this must be done before grouping. Frames with inscriptions can also be filled with any color (you can also after grouping).

    In this master class, I will tell you how you can draw and design a pattern for weaving on a reed. In this way I make schemes for my site.

    First, I'll tell you about the programs in which I draw.

    Microsoft Office - Excel / LibreOffice - Calk

    Excel is available to all users of the Windows system. This is a spreadsheet program. By default, the cells are long, but you can set the size, for example, I have 0.5cm width and 0.5cm height. It turns out convenient cells in which I draw my schemes. I use LibreOffice - Calk, because it is free, and the functions are no different from Excel. I will demonstrate MK just in this program, so don’t be scared if your button is not where I have it. This requires "cell formatting", which can be found in the drop-down menu when you click the right button, it's just slower, the main buttons you need in Excel should also be available in the top menu.

    Inkscape / CorelDraw

    I recommend the vector program Inkscape (version 0.48.5) - it is free, it weighs a little, it has fewer features than in CorelDraw, but this program is enough for us to draw a diagram. To work, you need to download the version I specified, there is even newer, but it hung terribly on my computer, so I deleted it. Although now a very fresh version 0.92 has appeared on the official website, I haven’t watched it and don’t know how it works. On Linux (an alternative system, not windows), for example, what I needed did not work for me. I will demonstrate MK just on this program. You can download the program from Yandex.disk using the link Inkscape 0.48.5.

    CorelDraw is a paid program, but if anyone has it and who knows how to use it, please. I didn’t really notice the difference when working, although I used it only once, so I can’t say for sure.

    Step 1. At the very beginning of work, the workspace should look like the one shown in the photo: set all cells to all cells. I already have a checkered field, but I’ll show you where to look for the necessary parameters (I don’t have LibreOffice-Calk, Excel, so I can’t suggest anything on it). You need to poke in the upper left corner of the table, then when you click the entire field will be highlighted.

    Now right-click on the horizontal row denoting the columns. A menu will pop up, in which we click on the line "Column width"

    A window will open where you can set the size of the columns you want. I am satisfied with 0.5 cm.

    We repeat the same procedure for rows. To do this, right-click on the left column numbering the lines. In the drop-down box, click on the line "Line Width". We write in the window the same size as for the column.

    Our page is ready to go. On the right in the photo you can see the diagram that I will draw.

    Step 2 Let's get started. We count the number of rows of our future scheme. I have a pattern width of 13 cells, so I select the same number of lines, and the length is arbitrary.

    If you need to change the background color, then point to the "Background Color" button and click on the arrow next to it in order to bring up a window with a color palette. We make sure that the selected area does not disappear.

    In the window that opens, select the color we want. I chose pink.

    Now we can't see the cells. To fix this without deselecting, we click on the "Frame" button. This step should also be done by those who do not want to change the background color, but want to continue to finish the scheme in Inkscape in the future. If you do not set a stroke, then when copying in Inkscape there will be no cells.

    In the window that opens, click on the icon indicating the frame on all sides.

    We have prepared the space on which we will draw our scheme. If you convert your schematic to .png (this is done when working in Inkscape), then even drawing a pattern on a colorless background (which is the default in the program), fill the background with white, otherwise you will have to add a step when working in Inkscape, because there he will count White background transparent and may appear as a black background in some image viewers.

    Step 3. We draw our scheme. To do this, click on the "Background Color" button, also on the arrow next to it, and select the color of our pattern. The selection of the area must be removed at the same time, otherwise our field will be repainted in the newly selected color.

    To make drawing easier, hold down the Ctrl button and select the areas we need. I do not advise you to select a lot at once, the program may freeze or you will inadvertently remove the selection.

    Now we click on the "Background Color" button itself, the button should have the pattern color we have chosen. And our selected area will immediately be colored.

    We continue to draw our scheme. If we want to add more color, then we must take into account that when weaving, the color goes along the length, therefore, as in my example, the three middle rows will be white throughout their entire length.

    We select only our scheme, without extra rows and columns, and copy it (you can use the Ctrl + C combination, or you can call the menu by right-clicking the mouse and clicking "Copy")

    Back to Inkscape. Right-click anywhere and paste the image (you can use the Ctrl + V combination or also through the drop-down menu by clicking "Paste")

    Our scheme has arrived. It must be a vector image, that is, available for conversion in this program.

    Sometimes images are not copied correctly. Usually I have it stretched in width. To fix this, select our image and look at the top menu. We find "W" next to the numbers indicate the width, next to "H" - the height.

    To get the "correct scheme", I open the "Calculator" program. To obtain correct proportions I multiply the number of rows and columns by the same figure, in my case - 15. You can see the number of rows and columns at the bottom of the spreadsheet program, the main thing is that the scheme is highlighted. I have 13 rows and 33 columns. I multiply each number by 15 and I get a width of 495px and a height of 195px. For display on a computer, these sizes are enough for me.

    Step 5. Now we need to give our cells a certain line thickness so that the lines are well read and not "bold". To do this, find the button in the top menu "Object" and click on "Ungroup".

    Now the lines of our circuit can be transformed.

    To do this, on the left of the program window, look for the "Fill and Stroke" button and click it.

    Our image should still be selected. In the "Fills and Strokes" window that opens, go to the "Stroke Style" tab. There I set the size of my stroke to "1px". For the proportions of my scheme, this thickness is suitable.

    Now, without removing the selection, go back to the "Object" menu and click "Group". Now the image is complete.

    Go to the "File" menu and find "Export to bitmap" there.

    In the window that opens, click be sure to check the box next to "Export only selected". If necessary, specify the location where the image will be saved. We press "Export". Inkscape can only export with a .png extension. If you need another extension, then you need to use another program. I use the XnView program for viewing and processing images for this purpose. There you need to go to the "File" menu and click "Export". In the window that appears, you need to select the desired extension and set the parameters (if desired, I only pay attention to how much the image will weigh after conversion and, based on this, set the quality). Next, save to right place and with the correct name.

    I will add that vector images in.png weigh less, with the extension.jpg. You need to know this if there is a need to monitor the amount of information being downloaded, in my case - to the server where the site is hosted. The amount of payment for my site depends on how much my entire site weighs.

    That's actually all. And you thought it was so easy to do beautiful pictures for site? But in fact, I already process the schemes very quickly. After all, I did the symbol section in exactly the same way, so I had a lot of practice.
